Went here on a weeknight and sat at the bar. Was surprisingly pretty empty, but maybe due to after a holiday. Bartender was good and they have a varied beer selection. I wasn't sure how the food would be but got two apps that both were good. Never had been to a BJ's before, but would keep it in mind for the future. No outside seating, though. read more

The waiter was a disaster. Asked about an appetizer and then brought a side dish instead. Didn't ask or offer to correct his mistake. No refills on drinks. Asked another server and was told abruptly that it wasn't his table. Asked if he could summons our server and was told NO! He didn't know where he was. Paid $56 with $0 tip and left. For two people. I picked up a free reward Pizookie to go for my mother tonight and she chose the brownie one. I usually love the Pizookies here but the brownie sundae was not good at all. It was way undercooked, very flat and didn't even fill the container. We had to put it back in the oven to cook, as it was luke warm and half batter when we received it. Absolutely disappointing service from start to finish. Came in as a family of four at 10pm on my husband's 45th birthday on 8/5 as he was specifically craving their food for a late dinner. We were excited to have a nice time. For full disclosure, I've been a local Restaurant Manager for years and a Server for over 7 years prior, so I am very well-versed on restaurant etiquette, wait times, delays, etc and have more understanding and patience than most when it comes to what the job entails. However; since I am in a restaurant over 50+ hours a week, when I do go out, I expect to be treated with the same customer service my crew and I work so hard to successfully provide others. I also know how much public reviews matter and don't often write them, but this one is necessary. Upon being sat, we weren't greeted by our server for well over 10 minutes. The place wasn't busy. Once she finally came and took our drink orders, waters/sodas were prompt but we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for our bar drinks to arrive. Server rang in wrong beer for my mother-in-law which she had to get corrected and took longer than it needed to. Asked for a side of ranch with my meal and once again it took over 10 minutes for her to bring. (I was literally counting the minutes due to all the delays.) NO SENSE OF URGENCY WHATSOVER. Never once did the Server do a 'two bite checkback' (aka: making sure the food was to our liking AT ALL) Never asked us how anything tasted or checked back to see if we wanted another cocktail (they carry ipads and just have to press 'repeat;" no register stop needed--- she just needed TO ASK, and press a button!) She stood at a register confused for minutes trying to separate checks with 5 men around her then starting taking a 10-top's order without even asking if we were okay first ---- at least send someone over to check on us!! My husband stood up to approach the Host Stand. She looked over and saw us all glaring at her and THAT'S WHEN she decided to come to our table. (All drinks empty at this time.) I told her we wanted our dessert to-go and that we wanted to speak to a manager immediately. After another 20 minutes passed a manager NEVER came so my husband got up again to try and find one. The manager quickly ran to the back never to be seen again and never approached the table or offered a solution or remorse. The desserts were brought out with the check and the check had no discount, coupon, apology or otherwise and was over $80. I'm not dealing with a place that is almost $100 and give lousy service for food I could get so much cheaper and better elsewhere. Still no manager. We left cash WITHOUT TIPPING, and the Server literally followed us out to our car and confronted us by our vehicle! She had enough time to do that but not take care of us or send help or a manager over, even though I personally asked her for one. That's the only thing that got her attention. The point isn't to get anyone in trouble but it's to have place realize hard earned money is being spent, you are a destination, and your staff is ruining the experience. Management needs to be helpful to their staff and attentive/observant to guests or this wouldn't have happened. Even if the server was overwhelmed there was an order in which to do things properly which means they don't train well here. Unfortunately I should've gotten her name as I would've put it on this review just due to the sheer nerve of her following us out to our car. I will be contacting "feedback@bjsrestaurants.com" and posting this same review on all outlets until I hear back from someone who cares. ALSO if on Google ----- take a look at the reviews chronologically under this one; they specifically mention the same two names (Jonathan & Andrew) SPAM. SPAM. SPAM. This restaurant needs to do better and stop soliciting for disingenuous reviews in order to mask customer's real concerns with bogus 5 star ones. I've seen it all in this industry; I know. I wouldn't trust eating here again and the service is awful. Don't go here, especially on a special occasion. read more

I've been to about 3 different ones and they have all been great. The food, service has all been wonderful.

I was unsure about what to get the server was helpful and suggested the club BLT something sandwich i don't remember what it was called but it was good, i requested no avacado and when my food came there was no avacado. I got it with sweet potato fries and they were good but had little seasoning on it (no salad, would have preferred more salt). overall great experience and good food. read more

If you love margaritas and lemonade I highly recommend the lemonade berry margarita with sugar! This was so delicious and complimented my ribeye steak with mushrooms and onions as well as my loaded mashed potatoes! The service was also excellent, my waiter was fantastic and I was seated immediately when I walked in despite the amount of people that were there! Tbh I'm not a big fan of the food at BJs but I absolutely love their pizzokies. A cookie shaped like a mini pizza topped with icecream.. super rich, heavy, sweet, creamy.. I'm drooling just thinking about it. I love the month of October or around this time because they do 3 dollar pizzokies every day. Such a great time of year to go and grab one with a group of friends! Make sure to tip though because it's so cheap and the waiters/ waitresses work hard even if you only order that.
