My family and I loved dining at BKNY! The staff was super attentive and the restaurant was very clean. My mom has been craving pad thai since we went to Bangkok, and theirs hit the spot. Fresh ingredients and great flavor. The spring rolls were burnt at the ends, but nonetheless they were yummy. The duck rolls were alright...the crepe wrap was a bit meh and the duck was a bit dry. Not our favorite item. My dad enjoyed his curry and was glad he got mild spice. The pineapple fried rice was a bit bland - the rice itself was good, but I wish there was more pineapple and flavor. The mango rice was delicious, but next time we plan to try the fried plantains with ice cream...needless to say we want to go back!

First time visiting and I was impressed. The restaurant looks beautiful. The staff were friendly and very attentive. I ordered, chicken wings, calamari and pineapple fried rice with chicken. Everything was delicious. I ordered a blue Hawaiian cocktail that was strong. Definitely looking forward to returning.

My go-to Thai food spot in bayside! The crab meat fried rice, Pad Thai, and Thai iced tea never disappoint. We came here to celebrate our cousin's graduation, and it was the perfect place for good food and great company!

What a day! I needed to get away. I took a trip and landed at BKNY Thai. I arrived prior to my friend. I ordered a libation, Powder Blue was my choice. My friend arrived and we ordered Thai spring rolls (4), chicken curry puffs (4) and pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The music was a vibe and many people were celebrating. We saw a cake presentation for happy birthday. Waitstaff joined in to sing to the patron.

Ive been coming here for years. My family has had several parties here and we even closed it out 1 year for our Christmas celebration. Food is always great and so is service. I definitely recommend the ribs!!

Once again, we returned for their great lunch specials which at $10 is a bargain. We all enjoyed our dishes and the lunch specials comes with Thai Spring Roll. I was going to order a mild spice curry dish and but server said if you are not a fan of spicy to order something else. I ordered Praram Delights and that still had a slight kick. We tried the Duck Roll as an appetizer and that was very good. I like that we were able to converse without raising our voices. Small parking lot in the back with street parking available. Service is friendly and efficient, very nice decor. Definitely recommend!

If you have a big group, highly recommend you make a reservation. They laid out exact number and tell you to sit down before they provide extra plates settings. There is a small parking lot in the back though I have found street parking if needed. Employees are efficient and if you need your plate change, they will change it. The place might be a bit dim though if you need they can turn on the spotlight for picture taking. They have plenty of room to accommodate We spend more than 2 hours here with mingling before ordering and eating food (Appetizer and Entrees) and drinks. We shared the dishes so we can try a variety of dishes. Appetizer: Puff Curry Sausage Papaya Salad Mango Salad Beef Salad Chive (complimentary) Curry Chicken BBQ Chicken Entree: Lamb Chops Pan Fried Beef with Rice Noodles Eggplant Rice Seafood Beef with Vermicelli Noodles Tom Yum Soup

For a large restaurant and somewhat recognizable. I say it's all fluff. The food dishes were not the most delicious, intriguing or at full potential. Drinks were a let down. Chains like Olive Garden makes better drinks - and you have a FULL bar. Drinks came after the food ?!?! Atmosphere and setting/decor is perfect, wonderful and very cultural. There's a lot of customers I know however they need to get it together. There's plates had left over food and they said it's the wind ? Picture taken. One white shirt manager. Said nothing aside from "bye" To add injury on insult the put an involuntary 20% tip ... and ask for more ... YOU don't even deserve or earned a tip. Everything was basic or below. Want a good Thai spot : Thai 101 on bell blvd, bayside Thai social on bell blvd, Oakland gardens Futgi has better Thai ... and it's a half sushi place..... 3.1 of 5 Not Super

I came here with my friend for a quick lunch and they had a very nice lunch special. The restaurant itself is very nice inside, they have a full stocked bar and a nice red decor inside. Their lunch special I believe was $13 for a spring roll and chicken pad Thai. They do serve a generous amount and the food itself was very tasty. We also ordered their chicken wings to share which were crunchy and meaty. I also ordered their thai iced tea which wasn't part of their lunch special but was very refreshing. It is also fairly close to my house so I will be returning.

Overpriced, small-portioned mediocre Thai food. I could pay less and have better Thai food in the city.

    Is the outdoor seating covered?

I was there a few weeks ago and didn't see any outdoor seating. I've been here quite a few times and don't think they have outdoor seating available.

    Is there outdoor seating?

Hello, we have set up outdoor seating (weather permitting) in the rear parking lot as well as a few small tables in the front. Thank you.

    Is it wheelchair accessible?

Pretty sure from the street side, not the rear, where are are steps. Why not call when open?

Can they host private event for up to 50 guest for a wedding dinner?

I’m sure they can. Big place. Call tomorrow.

Pad see ew or pad Thai?

Pad thai...is awesome so is the shirt ribs and dumpling. The whole fish is good too . hope this help

Is the snapper better or the ribs?

Depends on personal taste. If you have a sweet tooth ribs are quite delightful

There is something truly special about their seasoning that makes every single dish amazing. What really sets Maria's apart, besides the incredible food, is the outstanding hospitality. Maria and her staff treat everyone like family from the moment you walk through the door. It's that rare, warm atmosphere combined with consistently delicious food that makes this a place I always look forward to returning to. Food (5/5): Consistent and amazing. The seasoning is excellent, whether you're getting the juicy grilled chicken, perfect souvlaki, or the crispy calamari. Customer Service (5/5): Exceptional. Maria and her team offer the kind of genuine hospitality that makes you feel like part of the family. Decor (4/5): Warm, inviting, and comfortable--the perfect setting for a great neighborhood spot. I was also crazing something lighter and Mediterranean so this fit the bill. On to the food, the sole and dips were the only thing we tried that was worth getting frankly. The chicken souvlaki was def the worst thing we ordered. It was too charred and completely dried. Just not an enjoyable entree. The sole was yummy but did not blow my mind. The Bifteki was good but not as good as the sole. It was on the pricier side. 3 entrees, 1 app was over 120$. The interior and staff were great! Unfortunately, I don't think I will return.

This feels like a warm, family-friendly neighborhood restaurant serving authentic Thai food. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. We accidentally ordered the wrong Tom Yum soup (we didn't realize there were two versions), and our waitress went above and beyond by happily switching it to the creamy one. I can't say enough good things about the food. To start, I absolutely loved my plum drink. Some of the highlights of our meal were the papaya salad and mango salad--both were perfectly balanced, fresh, and full of flavor. The steamed chili lime branzino was incredibly tender, with a beautiful balance of lemongrass and fresh herbs that, for a moment, brought me right back to the street food in Chiang Mai. The BBQ pork jowl over rice was another pleasant surprise--juicy, flavorful, with just the right balance of sweetness and crispiness. By the end of the meal we were completely full, but there's no such thing as skipping dessert at a great Thai restaurant. We ordered the Bi Go Moi with taro ice cream, and it was the perfect ending. If you're a fan of purple sticky rice and rich coconut milk, this dessert is an absolute must. The taro ice cream paired beautifully with it and really hit the spot. We truly enjoyed every part of the experience--from the delicious food and warm hospitality to the wonderful company and laughter that made for a memorable birthday dinner. We'll definitely be back!

An Unforgettable Omakase Experience!…read more We celebrated the 4th of July with an incredible omakase dinner at Masaki, and it exceeded every expectation. Every course was beautifully presented, impeccably fresh, and perfectly balanced. From the delicate Red Sea Bream and buttery Scallop to the luxurious Toro with Caviar, Sweet Shrimp with Uni, and the unforgettable Eel with Foie Gras, each bite was a masterpiece. What truly elevated the evening was Michael, our sushi chef. He was warm, engaging, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He took the time to explain every course, the origin of the fish, the flavors, and the best way to enjoy each piece. His passion for his craft was evident, and his attention to detail made the entire experience feel personal and memorable.
