Got 1/16th of an ounce of steak sauce for a 1.5 lb prime rib. Same for horseradish sauce. Skins were tasteless. Rice and broccolli were meh. Cakes were both dry. Prime rib was tender (hence 2 stars) but way more fat than even a prime rib should have. $80 including tax and had to drive 20 miles each way to pick it up. This is an establishment that sends emails literally begging for business but when you do give them business, they show that in fact, they don't want it at all. Today's order was the last straw. Their food and prices disappointed so many times, that's it. They can't even follow the requests in an online order. Sick of the rip-off. No more Black Angus. read more

This is always our family's steak and "fancy" meal. It never disappoints as it's good to excellent every stop. We usually get the campfire feast. My wife has the filet (with garlic butter). So delicious. I usually get the NY strip and it's always soft and flavorful as well. Broccoli is a great side but the potato soup is top notch as well as the loaded baked potato. I don't understand the complaint about the wait. I've been easily over thirty times and never felt ignored or slowed down. 1st let's start with I made a reservation for 5 people (I even asked to make sure that we can have that many in a party). Got there and was told my reservation was for good for only 4 " and this reservation was taking by manager at 1pm ". After work I was checking my emails and discovered a message from the owner who asked me to call her at my convenience. Went in last night with a party of 11 and 3 birthdays. Service was slow and portion sizes were small. When one person commented on the size of their steak he was told "we are running out of meat". The table next to us had a birthday as did a table above us. Employees gathered at both tables and sang Happy Birthday. They did not do the same for our party. Reserved a table for 4 for a birthday dinner. We were seated in a very small table, and asked if we could be moved to a larger table since we were elbow to elbow and we reserved ahead of time. There were several larger tables above us that were empty. The waitress said that we could not be seated at those tables as they were reserved for larger parties. That would have been fine except all the parties that were seated there after were smaller or equal sized parties. Love this place and have been quiet a few times in the last couple of months. I like sitting in the bar area as there always seems to be open booths. I always look for the coupons they have online to save a little extra cash. Drinks are always spot on and have never had a watered down drink or had to return one. Wagon wheel of appetizers is a good deal with variety of things to choose from. Love the bread they bring out and salads are ice cold. We've been going to the same restaurant for the last seven years. Today we sat in the bar area it's not too crowded given it's a Sunday and they're showing football. They forgot the side orders when they brought the entrées, ordering beer was like pulling teeth from an alligator we had to ask several waitresses several times before it ever reach our table. When I spoke to the manager to complain regarding the port slow service his only excuse was there's one person working in the bar and we're doing the best we can. Unacceptable. My bf and I came here for dinner around 5pm and there were a lot of people waiting to be seated. We actually didn't wait no more than 15 minutes and were caught at the bar. The bartender was awesome. Made us laugh for the few minutes we were there. He actually shares the same birthday as my bf and of course it was -according to them the greatest date ever (May 4th) well mine happens to be on Thanksgiving this year..(crickets) Any who, we sat right next to the kitchen which wasn't too bad, we saw all the yummy dishes coming out. Our waitress Shannon was really attentive and great. She always had a smile on her face which was very delightful. We ordered the artichoke hearts to start. My bf ordered this the first time we had dinner here and I got hooked. It's a lot of work to eat but if you know what parts to eat it isn't too bad. Comes with a bbq'd lemon which is squeezed on top of the artichoke and 2 dips that I cannot think of right now but both are tasteful. My bf ordered the 16oz. NY steak medium rare which was too rare for my liking but he enjoyed it. With a wedge salad that was too perfect to eat. I ordered the 8oz. filet mignon butterfly cut medium well with a caesar salad. I ate the whole steak and broccoli that was on my dish. I usually don't eat my food to it's entirety unless I'm either starving and haven't eaten the whole day or it was pretty darn good. While this all might sound great, the service reminded me of an ex-girlfriend...it seemed to start off great, but tended to go south as the evening transpired. Have always gone to Black Angus for their Fall Trio special that gives you a steak, lobster tail, four pieces of shrimp, two sides and of course all of the bread you can eat combination for a decent price. Every year the steak has been at least 6 ounces but this year, the steak was so small, I have to believe that it was only 3 ounces or less, not to mention that it tasted kind of mealy to me. My friend ordered the same thing as I did and he too commented on how small the steak was compared to the last time we had the Fall Trio. So, celebrated my son's 18th birthday on Saturday by taking our family for dinner for our first time. It was an obvious that it was packed because the parking lot was full and we chose to wait. 35 minutes was the waiting time to be seated, which was not bad at all considering how busy it was. This being our first time there we obviously wanted to make sure we looked at the menu to see what they offer. Waitress came took our drink orders while we decided which gave us more time to look at the menu. Point being FOOD WAD DELICIOUS but the waiting time to be served was RIDICULOUS. Over an hour!! We have been to Black Angus on multiple occasions. I've had date night here with the wife, we have hit up their happy hour, and even been here with large groups and parties. Overall I've had a middle of the road experience, with good also mixed in with the bad. First thing that really stands out was when Black Angus sent me wife to the ER. We had dinner here one night and my wife wanted a desert but it normally comes with nuts. Waitress said it was not a problem to make it without nuts. My wife is highly allergic to all nuts, and when she has a reaction it is extreme. So not sure if they made the desert with nuts and then picked them off, but either way she had a reaction to the desert and ended up going to the ER to be treated. Another time we came with a large party that had reservations. The food took so long to come out that more than half of the people left. I want to say it was over an hour and a majority were still waiting for the food. The steaks are hit or miss. Ordered the top sirloin the other day and it was over cooked and dry. I guess next time I should order medium instead of medium rare. The prime rib has always been pretty good and cooked more to my liking. The lobster tail and shrimp are usually flavorful. Most of the sides are tasty, and one thing that is always pretty awesome is thier bread. My wife absolutely loves it. The bar and happy hour are cool. We have always had a good experience there.
