Great steakhouse with old charm you just don't get these days, walk in and you literally feel somewhere in Texas. This place is huge and parking is not a problem, you could easily have a party of over 30 here with ease. In fact we have down that a few times and service is still incredibly well done. Now down to the food, it's incredible! Steaks done with care and quality and the sides are tasty and generous, you will definitely have leftovers. Black Angus and restaurants like it are getting harder and harder to find, but I'm glad we still have this location to eat at. If you have a cowboy hat or outfit to wear, come on down partner! Before I go into all the good things, which pretty much all involve the bartender, I'd like to start with my complaint. The bar is hot. The temperature is uncomfortable for a hot summer day. It wasn't as noticeable on the 1st night I came in, but at noon on a Sunday it's rough. My drink shouldn't be ache to get warm issue. I was served both times by the lovely Bartendress, Miss Elizabeth P, or Liz. She was slammed both days. The first day was Happy Hour on a weekday. The bar includes so many regular tables. It's a lot, evergreen for one very competent bartender. She did really well, made sure I had everything I needed as soon as she could do it. She's part of the reason I came back to watch the World Cup Final. I figured it would be the best spot. It's great having Liz here again, but this heat is making it rough. The food was good. I haven't been to Black Angus in years and was expecting a subpar experience. To my surprise, the steak was good and the appetizers were cooked to order. Good value for the cost and quality. The location has been here for a long time, so it is a little outdated and could use a renovation. It is very open and spacious with plenty of seating, and the booths give an intimate dining experience, which is a plus. We had to send back glasses because they didn't seem freshly washed. It also took a long time for drinks to come, one alcoholic and the rest non-alcoholic. The server didn't check on us during the first half of the experience. Service needs improvement. The manager seemed pleasant and courteous when assisting our table. Overall, it was a fair experience, but the location needs renovation and better service training. read more

On Thursday August 20th my wife and I were in the mood for a nice Prime Rib dinner which is normally always excellent at your location, we got to the restaurant around 4:45 PM and were seated quickly. Our waitress Abbey took our drink order and then proceeded to ask for our dinner order, we ordered the Campfire meal, Prime-rib an so fort. A few minutes later Abbey returned to tell us that they were out of Prime Rib. Very disappointed. 5:00 PM and no prime rib, sounds as though someone dropped the ball. Please explain! read more

The only issue is sometimes the coupons work, sometimes they don't, but nevertheless still a good deal. Service is a little slow, but every time I go, it's decently crowded, so it's fine. An underrated steakhouse chain with a welcoming interior and good meal deals! The campfire feast is advertised for two people and comes with an appetizer, two entrees, four sides, and one dessert. Honestly, the feast is enough for four people depending on what you order, especially with their complimentary molasses bread and butter. I was stuffed after my meal and I still had leftovers for the next day! For the appetizer, the surf and turf quesadilla is definitely the best to get your money's worth, but I also enjoyed the crispy zucchini. The New York strip was juicy and cooked to my liking, and my favorite sides are the broccoli and au gratin potatoes. While the house salad side had a generous portion, the I could not use it he honey mustard dressing, as it was almost all honey and way too sweet. For the dessert, the carrot cake was delicious, much better than the fudge cake which is supposedly their more popular one. I took advantage of a DoorDash two-for-one special and ordered two steaks. I had just donated blood and thought it would be good to have something rich in iron. The steak was cooked exactly as I had ordered it. The scalloped potatoes were delicious. The shrimp were good. They included cocktail sauce with them. I especially like their complimentary bread. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I have to be honest about my experience. I ordered takeout for my daughter and me, and for nearly $80 (plus a $10 tip), I expected much better. I ordered the fried shrimp with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I even paid extra to add garlic butter to my mashed potatoes, but it wasn't included. The mashed potatoes were dry, plain, and completely unseasoned, just a scoop of potatoes with no butter, salt, or flavor. The broccoli on both of our plates looked and tasted like it had simply been steamed and placed on the plate. There wasn't a hint of seasoning or the garlic butter that was supposed to come with it. My daughter ordered the steak with a baked potato and broccoli. She said the steak was actually pretty good, which was the only positive part of our meal. Unfortunately, the sides were just as bland and disappointing. To make matters worse, our takeout order didn't include any eating utensils. That's a basic detail that should never be overlooked, especially with a takeout order. I tried calling the restaurant to express my concerns, but no one answered the phone. For almost $80, plus a $10 tip, this meal was a huge disappointment. Missing items, bland food, and no utensils made this an experience I wouldn't expect from Black Angus. I have to give four stars for slow service on this visit. I got the feast for one. I ordered the 12oz New York strip with Mac and cheese and are salad. To start I had the Waygu dumplings. For dessert I had the chocolate cake. The Waygu dumplings were really tasty I wish I had 50 or more. The Mac and cheese wasn't hot. The steak was pretty good. I had to get my dessert to go so I wouldn't be late for work. I didn't get a picture since it was in a to go box. I hope next time service is a bit faster. read more

The steak is supposed to be well done and they gave me a very red steak at first, after they take it back and I got this black bitter coal looking thing. I tried Black Angus Steakhouse for the first time on a Friday evening and it wasn't too busy. The hostess who greeted us was polite and helpful, and we were quickly seated in a comfortable booth. We decided right away to try the Campfire Dinner for Two, which includes an appetizer, entree, sides, and dessert. We went with the ribeye steak, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, salad, steak soup, and finished with a warm cookie topped with ice cream. Our server, Huy, was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the food itself was a bit underwhelming. The ribeye was just okay even with the added roasted garlic and herb butter (extra $2.49), the seasoning felt uneven and the flavor slightly off. The potato skins arrived at room temperature and were somewhat mushy, which was disappointing. Our dessert also took longer than expected but it was very tasty. On the positive side, the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were both very tasty and and great sides with the meal. Consider getting the rewards app as we were able to save $20 on our bill by using it. Still, considering the overall quality of the food for the price, I think there are better dinner options. read more

The food was ok- my husband and I agree it was fine- not the best we've ever had at a steakhouse, but not the worst either. Solidly in the middle. I ordered a drink that came in a rocks glass and I have to say that it was pretty tiny. At least they don't overcharge for their liquor like some other places I've been to. Overall, our meal was perfectly acceptable, and the service was polite and fairly attentive. Food didn't take overly long to arrive. That all being said, we don't like eating at places that charge a fee to use a card, (this one is 3%) so we are not compelled to return anytime soon. We had a 6:30 reservation for a party of six and were seated right on time. Our waitress, Kristina, took our drink orders and mentioned their new app, along with a 3% fee added if paying by card. Unfortunately, there's no nearby ATM, so paying cash isn't really an option. The menu has changed quite a bit, and while she tried to explain it, the explanation got a little long and somewhat confusing . Drinks came out quickly, and we placed our order. Bread and appetizers followed in a reasonable time. After that... the wait began. We ended up waiting about 52 minutes for our entrees. During that time, we were offered drink refills and told the food was almost ready, but it definitely dragged. The steaks were good, but not amazing--just okay. The sides were pretty underwhelming too. I had fries, and they were soft and kind of mushy. Desserts were included with our meal, so we asked for them to go. The cookie we ordered takes about 10 minutes to cook, which was fine--I expected the check to come during that time, but it didn't. Dessert arrived, then we waited another 15 minutes for the check, and then additional time to get my card back. All in, we spent about two hours there, most of it waiting. We likely won't return to this location since we don't live nearby, especially considering we've had much faster service at other Black Angus locations. read more

The chicken was literally a thin slice of chicken that looked like a slice of deli meat with an after thought of a swish of BBQ sauce. The cheese potatoes were literally swimming in grease. We had Kristina as our server and she was amazing, came in on a Sunday evening on a whim and fortunately it was not too busy. There's usually some type of promotion going on that could potentially provide free upgrade or to some combination items, so I recommend either checking the website for possible savings (or coupons in the mail?). It's also very spacious which makes it ideal for people with families to visit. The bread is always nice and fresh tasting, with a crunchy exterior and plenty of butter. The wagon wheel sampler is plenty for a party of 2-4 people to share, and the ribeye steaks are also quite good. I really appreciated that Kristina checked to see how our meal was going and explained everything in sufficient detail, so that we understood the current seasonal specials as well as any changes to the menu. Have been to this location three times. Once for lunch which was good; however, two other times have been Friday nights at 430pm and both times bad management. Drove up and the parking lot was full. So, you think busy. But wait. Walk in, two families are waiting to be seated. So we gave our name. We are then told it will be a 15 to 20 minute wait. The restaurant is empty and it is Friday night. The manager proceeds to tell me that if I wanted steak, I had to add it even though the description on DoorDash includes steak. He searched for the description and I'm not even sure where he was looking because he doubled down that the salad is called a steakhouse salad but that I had to add steak if I wanted steak.
