    Shasta Veggie Scramble (730-1040 cal)
    Sharon D.

I enjoyed my first experience at Black Bear. It was busy when we arrived but we were able to be seated within 15 minutes as a party of 5. We all enjoyed our fresh squeezed juices. That was definitely a highlight of the menu! I personally ordered the Shasta Veggie Scramble. It was just okay. It lacked seasoning/flavor but the rest of my party thoroughly enjoyed their selections and for that reason, we will be back! Our waitress was so kind and checked on us throughout our meal. Thanks for a great first experience.

Today I went to work out, and afterwards I made a decision to go to Black Bear Diner to eat. This is my second time coming in. I'm at one something that was hard, healthy nutritious and also have some protein in it and on the menu I see where they had a cob chicken salad, see picture above, and the salad was very good and fresh bags were tasty. The tomatoes were very good but onions were real good bacon was real crispy and the chicken was cooked just right I just wanna say thank you once again staff and management at Black Bear Diner. You may this experience wonderful.Amaya was my waitress and she did a great job. She was very attentive. She came back and checked and I appreciate that very much

I started outside. I enjoyed the design of this place! It definitely has its own thing going and makes you feel like you are in a diner in the mountains. Lots of real wood logs around the trim and furniture. It was very simple and made you feel like you were at your grandparents house eating breakfast. I got the Creamy Vanilla Iced Cold Brew and it was average. It got the job done, but didn't blow my socks off. I didn't expect them to specialize in coffee anyways so I'm not upset. Lastly, the food was great! I ordered Joe's Hobo Omelette & I was pleasantly surprised by the portions! They were massive! Shoutout to my server, Brianna! She was on top of it and very friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Great service and a surprisingly great meal. It reminds me of a better version of IHOP. Not sure I would come here often, but it would definitely be a place to bring out of town guests, as the menu is large enough to accommodate all tastes and preferences.

This was an awesome breakfast establishment ans had quality service and great food. The attitude in the restaurant was welcomed and service was fast, ambiance not much we i was there at lunch. Probably the loudest and busiest timeframe. Ill definitely be visiting again.

Had a great lunch here at the Black Bear Diner. The atmosphere is like a cleaner greasy spoon diner. The waitstaff are super friendly and easy to work with. For lunch expect a little waiting time before seating, but then again it's the luck of the draw. The lunch we had was great! And the portions are plenty. I ordered the chicken nest, which is new in the menu. Which is chicken breast in Hollandaise sauce, and onion straws which was excellent. Came with good broccoli and what tasted like real mashed potatoes and white gravy. My wife ordered the "bear paws" which looked like a chicken fried steak, with the same sides I had. Both were very delicious. Like I said the server was attentive and quick to refill our drinks and get our bill ready. Overall a great experience for locals and visitors alike, highly recommend!

We had a delightful dinner tonight at the Black Bear Diner. There's a Big welcome Bear for photo ops, a souvenir store for bear claw house shoes, paw gloves, stuffed animals, t-shirts and more. We were seated promptly; there were 5 of us, Makenzie was great, very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean, with an outdoor camp feel. Their menus are on newspaper which is cute. We ordered the turkey club, 2 cheese burgers, chicken & waffles and a breakfast special with sweet cream pancakes. Everything was fresh and delicious.

This place is AWESOME!! Such cute decor, great music (but not too loud) & great service by Maria! Let me tell you about the food!!!! Mom had the Volcano (subbed a sweet cream waffle for the pancakes). It came with eggs, link sausage (best we've ever had) & bacon (tastes like it just came off the smoker!). I had the Bread Pudding French Toast...with bananas & pecan praline drizzle and fresh fruit on the side. Pull up a chair & prepare for the BEST thing you've ever tasted!! The entire experience was above the 5 stars we could give it!!!

Very cool decor, like a lodge, comfortable seating. Interesting and variety on the menu for all different tastes. It is a diner, not a 5-star Michelin restaurant. It does what it does very well though. Friendly attentive staff. Great location easy parking. Like the Terminator "I'll be baaack!l lol!

I was so happy when black bear opened because we had them back home and really missed them. The food is the way we remember, generous portions and really hit the spot. Fast service, and friendly service. This is 40 minutes from my house and very much worth the drive. Love the atmosphere, the woodsy vibe is one of my favs.

Steak and egg breakfast with Water Buffalo meat. The steak had such a nasty flavor the cooks tried to cover it up with garlic. That did not works the steak tastes disgusting!

My wife got the Ragin Cajun Club and could only eat 1/4 of it because of the abundant portion sizes. She also got onion rings that went great with the ranch. I got the Cajun Pork Chop and it might have been the greatest dish I've ever eaten. It's served on a helping of the cheddar grits with andouille gravy and creole fried eggs. It's like an explosion of savory Cajun goodness with every bite. The right amount of spice. Runny yokes with the gravy and grits and a bite of lightly breaded pork chop. I had been there once before back in 2016, though I do not remember if it was this location or another one, and I do not remember what I ordered then. In any case, it was nice to go back and try it again. This time, I ordered the TX Hot Chik'n. The sandwich was crispy and flavorful, with a good mix of BBQ and buffalo sauce. The pickles, lettuce, mayo, and sesame bun all worked well together, and it was filling without feeling too heavy. My friend ordered the Jamaican Jerk San'ich and enjoyed it. It had bold seasoning and a good savory flavor, so it was a solid choice if you want something with a little more spice and personality. The "Jerk" spelled with mayo on the bun and the backwards "R" was a cute touch. Overall, Spiral Diner had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and it is a good lunch spot in Fort Worth whether you are vegan or just interested in trying plant-based comfort food. I was happy to have had the chance to go back and hopefully will be able to return more frequently whenever I am in town.

We ordered nachos as an appetizer to split, along with two beers and a kids meal. What arrived was Motley Crue waking from a drug binge, raiding the pantry and trash, then declaring "let's do it." What was supposed to be nachos was anything but. The only explanation is someone who had never seen nachos tried to recreate them after hearing a rumor from someone at a Lowe's parking lot. The "chips" were not tortilla chips. They were rectangular strips of pale, flimsy material that looked like scraps of drywall film pulled out of a new construction site. An albino drywall experiment that somehow escaped the kitchen and landed on a plate. The entire thing was covered in barbecue sauce, with some mystery white liquid poured over the top. We assume it was supposed to be queso, but it definitely was not queso. Calling it queso feels disrespectful to actual queso.
