The coffee is just ridiculously good. The flavors are so good and incomparable to other coffee shops everything tastes so fresh and rich. The stores are always so cozy and inviting on the inside. Amazing vibes for studying or just taking a time to get away. A great third place. Somehow the space works. It's inviting and memorable. After exploring the inside go check out their garden area. I was in awe by the large heavy antique iron door. I examined the door daydreaming of the stories it could tell. I found the barista to be quirky and fun. He has a lot of knowledge about coffee, suggested some other local coffee shops, and even gave us a brief rundown of the coffee scene and its history in San Antonio. Besides being easy going and laid back, the barista made a fantastic cortado in the most unique vessel I have ever drank a cortado from; a 4-ounce mini quilted Ball jar. What a brilliant and creative way to serve a cortado. It's a fool's proof way to ensure the a perfect milk to espresso ratio.
