Well, I can honestly left this place very angry. They hustle the whole family business story and how they are here for you. We had a trade in 4 different dealers offered us 11,500-12,000 in trade in. Blade offered us an insult at 9,000. I told them I couldn't work with the price they quoted me. We went back and forth a bit. I came up way higher in price because I wanted the truck. So they told me to come in and we will get it done! I was so excited!!!! These are GREAT people! After receiving a very difficult health diagnosis, my wife and I decided to take our three kids on a 5,000 mile road trip through the US and Canada before I started treatment. We were three weeks into the trip when my '08 Duramax broke down. There were two other Chevy dealerships closer to where we were stranded, but Blade was the only one that took time to listen to me over the phone and understand the situation we were in. They knew how desperate our situation was and could have really taken advantage of us. They could have turned our dream trip into a costly nightmare at a time when our family needs to be treasuring every memory and dollar. But instead of adding to our compounding problems, they rescued us! They volunteered to come get us, give us a free rental vehicle, have our 5th wheel towed to a nearby campground and work with the extended warranty company to get the repair covered. When the repair turned out to be more than could be done in the short window of time we had available, they gave us a GREAT deal on a trade-in and got us back on our way. Very nice and straightforward manager We went in looking for a Diesel and found one that just came in on a trade the day before ! 2002 Chevy 2500 Diesel. The truck was in great condition for being 14 years old !! We love it. The sales guy ( Josh) was very knowledgeable and great with our 4 year old! Juan the manager was also great. The truck was about 2,500-3k over book value and they would not budge ( only complaint) wish I could have gotten it a little lower I can sorta understand - they were going to sell this truck at that price no matter what. Very nice truck and Diesel is hard to get. They gave me a good deal on replacing the cloth with leather though( yet to see outcome , it's being done now) They detailed it very nice as well They communicated very nicely as well. I cannot express enough my anger for this dealer. We purchased a luxury SUV for over $20,000 from them not even 10months ago and have issues from day one. Gas button to pop open door would not open and a few other issues and they seemed irritated when you would complain like it was a cheap car? Tonight we had went ahead and traded it in at a certified Acura dealer which we should have done from the start but thought Blade had a good reputation. I was very angered to find out that the new dealer was only going to give us around $16,000 for a vehicle we still owed almost $23,000 for.SO needless to say our new car has an added balance from the vehicle Blade had sold us. I was already pre-approved for a loan and took them my certificate...long story short they kept saying I needed to put 4800 down when I called the bank they told me no money was needed. I ended up leaving and went to another dealership and got a better loan, with lower interest and no money down. I wasted all day at this place for nothing. We purchased a new vehicle in July from Travis. He was extremely friendly, but he seemed to ignore some of my questions and comments, and was more intent on closing the deal. Then, after all the paperwork was signed and we started playing with all the gadgets of our new car, we noticed that it did not include the navigation system as we had been led to believe. By then Travis had gone home, so we could not talk to him about this apparent oversight. He did call us back the next day, and explained that our new vehicle does have On Star navigation, free for 6 months - according to him, a navigation system. We chalked that up to "learn from our mistakes" and our own excitement/eagerness to purchase a new vehicle and not taking the extra time to double check everything. Then, a few days later the sales manager calls us to say that we need to give them a check for the down payment. Huh...? We had told Travis that we didn't want to do that, but apparently the paperwork never got changed. Ok, there again, maybe it was our fault by not looking very closely at the final paperwork. But really...? So we said we'd bring it by when we come in to pick up the new license plates. A few more weeks went by, and we're patiently waiting for the plates to arrive. Finally two days before the temp expiration, we called and asked about them. "Oh", we were told, "we were waiting for you to bring us the check." OMG! Doesn't the left hand talk to the right hand? Our first oil change was free, so last week I brought the car in. I decided to sit in the waiting room, and it was so noted on my service tag. I was told it would take about an hour. Seemed like a long time for an oil change, but no big deal, I had a book to read. About 45 minutes go by and I see my car driving by, so I'm eagerly waiting for my name to be called and told my car is ready to pick up, No such luck. Finally after about 20 more minutes of waiting, I ask at the front counter. After a bit of confusion, and excuses about the computer system being down, my car was finally released to me. Pretty poor customer service, I felt. I wonder how long I would have been left waiting, if I hadn't said anything? Long story short - we won't be back to Blade for service, or purchase. read more

This place doesn't honor any other dealership's service and informed me they'd have to charge me for two hours of diagnostics for a recurring check engine light. So much for Chevy taking care of people for the unreasonable prices they charge. And two hours to plug in an ODB reader? Sam is a Blade girl for sure. Cold, aloof, uncaring. And no, I'm not some desperate straight guy who got shunned. Knowing I was traveling she said two weeks was the soonest she could get me in. I laughed at her and walked out. Bought a new 2016 Chevy here last week. Was going to buy from Roy Robinson in Marysville. I had the printed copy of what I was going to pay and I took that to Blade. I dealt with Josh at the dealership. They beat the price and gave me a better trade-in price than Roy Robinson. They set up the spray-in bed liner and topper to be installed on the truck. Josh set up my truck with on-star and my phone with remote start. I felt I could of walked anytime, but got a good deal. I would use then again to buy another vehicle. read more

We almost didn't go here because of the low Yelp rating, but after reading the reviews saw that they were for the Chevrolet side of the business not for the RV portion which was what we were interested in and we were glad we gave them a shot. We have been looking at camper trailers for some time now and after going to several dealerships we finally found Nick at Blade RV. Nick spent a good amount of time with us showing us around the various models and answering our many questions. We are first time RV owners and were looking for something just perfect. The level of service we received from Nick was top notch and we would highly recommend him. In addition to the wonderful service we received from Nick the service department did not disappoint either. Jon conducted our walk through with us and was a really great teacher giving us lots of tips and showing us how to best use the functions on our trailer. If you purchase a trailer and Jon does your walk through, listen to the man, you will learn a ton! Again we can't say enough how pleased we were with the service and the sales department at Blade RV. I'm NOT happy with the Service Department's treatment of me when I took my Rv to them for an estimate 1.)to replace the fuel pump and 2.)repair or replace a hole in the fuel tank. 3.) see if that fixes the fuel gauge... I am a disabled senior. I live in my Rv full time, I only leave it when I have to. I am uncomfortable when I'm in crowds or unfamiliar places. I battle with joint and muscle pain constantly, and take powerful medications that often make me sleepy. I was quite specific when I made this appointment that I would be coming with it, and staying in it until they needed to work on it. (I would NEVER have made the appointment if I'd have known that the Service Dept. was going to oust me out of my home for the entire time I was there, without considering how it would affect me!) (IF I'd been unable to leave the R.v due to a physical disability, like needing a wheelchair, I don't think I would have been forced out to wait in a waiting room.) Instead, I have anxiety issues when I'm displaced and out of my comfort zone. Being forced to leave the R.v took me out of that, and upset me to the point I was shaking the entire hour I had to wait, and for hours after that! My breathing was irregular, I presented with very disturbing symptoms of an anxiety attack. No one considered that what they were doing to me when they forced me out, was MUCH worse than anything they imagined could happen to me, if they had just bent the rules slightly and let me stay inside and relax!) I voiced my displeasure to everyone. I was furious that they COULD force me out of my own home even for insurance reasons, because I can't be a liability to them if I waive all liability! (Besides, I'm insured against injury or accident as long as I'm IN my R.v. at the time of anything catastrophic occurring.) The Service Dept. seemed not to have understood what I was wanting from them, or else they just wanted me gone... **On my trip to CA, I ran out of gas in the R.v, because of a hole in the fuel tank. It was temporarily patched by a mechanic who told me to have it welded correctly as soon as I got back home. I wanted to know how much that was going to cost me. The fuel gauge never worked, so I wanted Blade to see if they could replace or repair it while they were repairing the hole in the tank. (I might also add that the manual for the R.v states that it came with a 100 gallon fuel tank. It looks like before I bought the R.v, someone swapped out the 100 gallon tank for a 65 gallon tank! A very BIG difference! I wasn't aware of this until I ran out of gas in CA.) **On my way back to WA, the engine had trouble taking hills, so when I reached Sutherlin, OR, I stopped to have that checked by a mechanic. After checking several things, the mechanic took it for a ride and determined that I had a very weak fuel pump, my engine was starving for fuel, and I needed to have it replaced. (It would take a fuel pump from a 1979 Chevy C30 motor, which would cost me about $50.00, but he would have to order it and wouldn't be able to change it out until the following week.) He said I should manage to make it back to WA without any problem, but I did need it replaced. **Blade Service Dept. said that they, "could not replace the fuel pump because they didn't make them anymore, and no one had the knowledge or expertise to work on such an old vehicle." Also stating, that the patch on the fuel tank wasn't leaking, and so it didn't need to be welded." (They, "MIGHT be able to repair the seal on the fuel pump," and "MAYBE the fuel gauge was just stuck, so they may NOT need to replace it or the tank." "IF they could fix the existing seal and gauge, it would run me about $700.00!") I couldn't figure out why they had seemingly ignored or misunderstood that I just wanted to know the cost of replacing the fuel pump and the cost of welding the patch to the hole in the tank, I didn't need them to diagnose anything! I already knew what the problems were, I wanted an estimate for the work. It seemed very clear that Blade Service Center didn't want, nor was capable of, simple mechanical work on an older engine! Not only were they telling me they couldn't obtain that fuel pump anywhere, but no one was qualified to work on such an old vehicle. (Well, WHY did they bother to examine it in the first place, if they don't have a mechanic knowledgeable in old school mechanics??) My experience with the Blade Service Dept. has been especially unpleasant due to their indifference to my request to stay with my R.v, (which violated my rights as a disabled individual,) AND they knowingly lied to me about being able to replacing the older parts of an older engine. I realized that they don't need or WANT my business! If you have an older vehicle, don't take it to Blade, they don't want you! read more

When I first started taking my Chevy Spark there when I bought it they were great. Had to replace my engine under warranty, stressful but they were great about it. The last few times I have brought my car in I have had nothing but poor service. One time I dropped it off at 10 for an oil change and said call me when its done. well closing time comes around and still no call. so I go there and my car is done out in the parking lot. they forgot to call me ,ok, wasn't washed or vacuumed they said sorry drop it off anytime for a wash and vacuum. Well today My mother took it in, due to my work schedule, at 7:30am and tells them she will wait in the lobby for it. At 8:40 I get a phone call saying my car is done. I didn't get it until about 10mins later and call my mom and ask her where she is. She is sitting in the waiting room at Blade waiting for my car. So she checks out gets the keys and tells them she was waiting, no apology or anything goes out to my car, it's not vacuumed and doesn't look to be washed so she goes back in and lets them know and they just look at her, don't offer to do it quick or to bring it back just nothing. I honestly don't care if they Vacuum and wash it but if they list it as part of the service then do it. How do I know if you rotate my tires and, change my oil and do all the other things you say is part of the service. read more

No stars! Awful place, bad people. I bought a used 4 runner here, after being told that there was nothing major wrong with it. Until this vehicle I have always had my mechanic look over cars, all have been fine to buy. BC I decided to trust, after talking in depth about my concerns. About 3 weeks later I took the 4 runner to the mountains, where it wouldn't shift and roared slowly over the hills, never able to pick up speed. Took it to a transmission place to find out that the trany is going, there are leaks coming from everywhere, and there are myriads of other things wrong, coming to a good $5000 worth of work, for a car I spent $4000 on. Upon calling and talking to the manager he yelled at me, put me down, and otherwise acted a crazy, self-involved creep. He refused to help me in any way, although financially poor, and I'm now stuck with an unsafe vehicle for long distances or higher speeds and roads involving steep hills. $4000 is nothing to car dealerships, especially since they probably spent no more than $2000 on the SUV, if that. They do not seem to care if people come back, I have never seen so many poor reviews for any business, and I can't help but wonder how they are really making money. read more

I have purchased 3 cars from Blade Chevy in the past. All from Juan. I just purchased a fourth car from Juan and it was as smooth as all of the previous transactions. I received more than I had paid for my trade(considerably more), and paid a very fair price for the truck I purchased. I have never purchased a new car from Blade, all have been used vehicles. I have never had a problem with any of these cars and that is why I will always shop their store. Juan is a first class young man and represents the store in a very professional manner. I was really suprised to see so many bad reviews. Granted, this posting is a tad late as I purchased my used Avalanche back in 2004 from Erik Adams. I have always been treated professionally and courteously by Erik. Even though my purchase was many years ago, I still get a call from him about once a year, just checking in. I have sent people to him specifically, as he doesn't give you the run-around you expect in dealing with car salespeople. Recently, I have looked at purchasing a newer truck, and Erik has responded to my phone calls or emails, without pressure or trying to swap me to another car. If he didn't have what I was looking for, he'd search to see if he could locate it, or let me know he couldn't help me with that particular purchase. When I'm ready to get a new or used Chevy, I'd definitely see Erik first before looking anywhere else. read more

We purchased a travel trailer here and thought it was the best experience ever. UNTIL we made our 10 hour drive home and the front cap was delaminated and rippled the entire way home. At the time of purchased I asked due to the fact we were coming 10 hours to purchase if there had ever been a water leak, was told NO and surprise surprise yes there had been. Not to mention at the time of purchase the tread was gone on one tire and they attempted to just change it out with the spare and place that one as the spare. I stood my ground never would I let that happen. When I got the trailer to my tire shop at home he stated they were 10 years old and not rated for the weight of the trailer. I left there in a unsafe and leaking trailer. Never again would I do business with Blade. They ignored all our attempts to have them make their wrong a right. It took $2400 in repairs plus $619 to place appropriate tires. Thanks Blade for the worst experience ever. We would have been lifetime customers but we will never return. read more

I purchased a used vehicle from Blade Chev 2015 Chevy Cruze with a little over 58,000 miles on it. Almost a month after owning the Chev Cruze it broke down. I had the car towed to Blade Chev. They said it was one spark plug that failed and wanted $422 to fix it. I did not finance my vehicle and so coming up with more money was almost impossible since I just spent $10,000. Blade management worked with me and only charged me half. Two weeks after getting my car back from Blade it broke down again. This time the water pump went out in it. Being a three day weekend I knew it would take a little longer. I spoke with Ann on the phone she said they wouldn't be able to even look at it until the next Thursday that was over a week away. I said Ok could I get a loaner? No, sorry we only let people use loaners who are having their car worked on. Maybe you should look into enterprise car rental. So I borrowed my neighbors TRUCK so I could drive back and forth to Bellingham for work. I was not exactly happy so I called back and asked to speak with a manager. I was transferred to Tom and left a message. Tom then called me back and said he would talk to Jason the person in charge of the service department and have him call me. In the mean time Tom told me I could call Chevy and get the car towed into the dealership. (Ann never told me this either) Tom also told me that the car should be under Chevy warranty because of the low miles and age of the car (Ann never told me either) I was told I would receive a call from Jason. I waited and waited and never received a call. (fyi-I am a on call GM and I have a cell at all times. No missed calls, no messages) So before I have to leave for work I call and am told by Ann rudely that Jason did call me and left a message. I tried to confirm my phone number with her but she wouldn't even let me speak she just told I KNOW we have the right number. Really? So the car got towed in and sat there until the next week when I hadn't heard from anyone I decided to call and see if they found out what was wrong with it. I spoke with Jason in the Service depart. When I asked if they had a chance to look at my car he said they were already working on it! I said, what? You're already working on it? A phone call would have been nice to know so I could have made sure I had enough money to have it fixed. He said, QUOTE! It's not going to cost YOU! anything. (rudely) I had about had enough of the BS and I tried to calm down and explain the situation with the car. Most people finance I DID NOT. Thinking I was buying a car from BLADE Chev thinking I was getting a good car. I wasn't too worried. Now I am. When the car first broke down I was at Andles Meat store in Mt Vernon. the man that worked there said he had problems also with the Blade service dept. I wish I would have known in the beginning I would have went to Seattle and got the other car I was looking at for the same price. Sales dept. was great, Finance was ok. Your Service department need's a whole lot of HELP. By the way when my car was finally fixed and ready JASON CALLED MY PHONE JUST FINE and said it was ready to go. So I dropped my car there on 5/12 for an oil change. No call, no communication whatsoever from the Service Department. My wife called them on 5/15 and was told that the car was done. She paid over the phone, so I guess all I need to do is stop there and get the key. I arrived at 5.20 pm. The girl was inside the office looks super unhappy and unprofessional. No hi, no smile, just look at me into the eyes. I felt a little bit awkward so I said hi, i am here to pick up my car. She said the place is closed at 5pm, I asked her "oh really? The sign said it opens at 7am and closes at 6pm". She said NO WE CLOSE AT 5. I look at the sign on the door again and it is still showing 6pm to me. But whatever, I just need to pick up the key anyways so I didn't want to argue with her about that. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place is the worst dealership I have ever been too. I came to the lot with a buddy to look at a 16 Chevy truck. I drove in around 6:15 pm and parked my vehicle. As we were exiting the vehicle a guy (sales person) came out of the showroom. Without even saying hi, he immediately went off on a tangent saying that we where going to get locked in the lot. My buddy and I looked at our watches and asked why? The guy said they were closed. We looked at him a and said no you close at 7 (by the way, there homepage says 8am - 7pm). The guy says nope we are closed at 6. At this time I look at him ask well I guess you don't want to sell a vehicle. He then totally changes the way he is talking to us and try's to ask "well what kind of vehicle are you looking for"? Yea let me talk to you know after you were so rude to us when we first came on the lot. He was the rudest and worst sales guy I have ever dealt with. I went to the dealership to ask them the sales guy (which I think his name was Travis) said the car was in excellent condition with no problems at all so they took my car in and actually found out it was the rear brakes and fixed it. They gave me a loaner car and I went back the next day to pick up my vehicle and the lady gave me a bill for almost $400! I told her there's no way I'm paying for this since I just bought this vehicle two months ago. She talked with the manager and got it cleared and I didn't have to pay for it. Fast forward to now, I wanted to trade-in my vehicle to get a new SUV since I'm currently expecting and the 2-door coupe will not be a good idea for a baby that's on the way. We talked with the sales person and found out that this place, Blade Chevrolet, royally screwed me over! I'm paying WAY TOO MUCH for what the value of the car really is and now, I'm $8,000 upside down on this damn car. I'm very hurt because this was my first time buying a vehicle, let alone a USED vehicle and that BC would take good care of me because of the reviews I read. Now I'm stuck with this vehicle until I can pay it off or refinance it. Now I can't get the mommy mobile that I know I really need because of this place. They took advantage of a young female who didn't know too much about purchasing a vehicle even though I researched day and night about this vehicle and yup, still got screwed over. At least help educate me and help me make the right decision instead of worrying about getting commission and being greedy. My husband and I were looking for a commercial van for our business. We stopped at Blade to check out their inventory. We wandered the lot for 45 minutes looking at vans assuming someone would come to greet us. No luck. So we walk in to the lobby to get some prices. No one even acknowledged us, and none of them were busy. We had to go over to the receptionist and ask to speak to someone about fleet vehicles. She walked over to Zane and told him we were interested in a van. 15 MINUTES!!! We stood there and waited for him to stop scrolling through his phone for 15 MINUTES! I finally said to hell with this and we headed to our truck. He came running up to our truck as we were pulling out. Out of desperation we parked and got out to talk to get some rough numbers. We headed into the building..Zane opened the door for my husband and dropped the door on me. WOW what a gentleman! So we get to his desk, and all he does is pull up the vehicle stock number and tell us the MSRP. No other info. I started to ask questions about rebates, ladder racks, and cargo bin options. ZANE IGNORED ME! He started talking to my husband about something else entirely. I don't know if this guy is opposed to women taking the initiative or just hates women in general. THEN He asked us where we bought our 2015 Duramax Silverado, and when we told him we bought it at Dwayne Lanes he proceeded to spend the next 10 minutes complaining about the Fleet manager at Dwayne Lanes and how he took his position. Pretty inappropriate for a fleet sales manager to be swearing about other GM employees. We left. He chased us out to our truck and asked for our business card. My husband left one with him...despite my urges not to. A week later, literally while we are pulling in to Dwayne Lanes, we get a call from Zane...he offers us the van at a discount...which he told us there were none at the time we were there. I'm sorry Zane...I would rather personally carry my husbands and my tools to the job site on my back than to buy a vehicle from you. Too bad too...we just purchased a van at Dwayne Lanes. BECAUSE HE GAVE US EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, talked to us about rebates, bins and ladder racks, and can talk to a woman. We will be making all our purchases from Dwayne Lanes from now on. You should not be privileged enough to be a GM employee. Disgrace to the brand! read more

It's nearly impossible to make an appointment for an oil change. A total of SEVEN phone calls. First call was disconnected while I was on hold(Call 1). Sam supposedly couldn't help me so she transferred me to the voicemail of their "specialist" who was away from her desk---a voice mail (Call 2). When I called back and wanted a "real" person, and not to wait for a return call, Sam was suddenly able to help me, but we were disconnected as I was making the appointment(Call 3). I called back and the operator transferred me to a voice mail before I could state my request (Call 4). (Call 5) Phone menu, then to voice mail, same for call 6. Finally got through to the operator again, who said "I'm just doing my job" when I asked to speak to the general manager, and transferred me to service where I got Katelyn and was able to make an appointment. When I told her that I'd been cut off while making the appointment with Sam, she told me Sam wasn't there. As long as I got my appointment, I shouldn't care, but if you're going to lie, at least tell Sam not to be in the background talking. I go there because i got my car there and it has always been serviced there, but the people at the service desk are not at all helpful. In the past I spoke to the general manager about one of their service people blatantly lying about ordering a part. The extremely poor service continues, so I decided to be public about my experience with this very, very poor customer service. I dread going to get my oil changed more than I dread going to the dentist. read more
