We had dinner here for my sister birthday Friday night. We waited 25 min for our table and noticed people that were getting there after us, being seated before us .We checked with the hostess and they told us they forgot to put our name on the list. We got seated a few minutes after that .We then sat for 15 min before the waitress got our order. The food was good but the service was terrible we had to constantly ask the bus boys for refills and condiments, since the waitress didn't check up on us at all. We had to ask another waitress for our check since our waitress was no where to be found we then requested for the staff to bring a dessert and sing happy birthday to my sister since I noticed they were doing that all night to other tables. The waitress comes after 20min with a ice cream sundae to our table and awkwardly says happy birthday. I was upset since we noticed they had the whole staff singing to tables that night. We had to go find another waitress and ask them if they could do the same as other tables. They took care of it at the end and then our waitress came back with our credit cards and said "sorry it's just hard to get people to come to a table and sing happy birthday" . I believe she just didn't want to make the effort. I love the food here but I have had several bad experiences with the service . read more

This restaurant has really come around. We had the fish and chips and they were awesome. Light and crispy and moist. Also had the artichoke appetizer but that was underdone. I don't want to rate this place too tough because I know they are transitioning. Altogether the visit was OK. We had a really nice seating on the outdoor patio. The heaters were on and it was quiet. Absolutely great environment to visit with family PLUS it was dog friendly so that was awesome. The waitress was super quirky and very friendly. I liked her. However, I do believe she needed more training as far as beer and wine goes. She was unable to pronounce some wines and listed the beer rather quickly. (They didn't have a beer or wine list but I'm sure they are working on it in the future) Also, I really appreciated how she brought me a huge dish of cheese for my pretzel when I asked for more. That was thoughtful. At the end, she was on her cell phone while she dropped off the check and said thank you and I just thought that was kinda odd. The food was not bad but not terrific. It was definitely just ok. My mother's steak has to be sent back because it was a little too rare and my husbands food didn't come out until I was half way done with my meal. (And I'm a slow eater so that's saying something!) I definitely will be back once they've remodeled and everything. When this place was Rooney's we were regulars. We just went today and it will probably be the last time simply because the new owners increased the prices significantly across the board. Went to dinner tonight with my family and it was hands down our best experience there. We've been a few times since the change. The host was so sweet. I wish I knew her name to give her a shout out. She asked where we preferred to sit, which I've never been asked before, and she brought our little one (16 months) crayons and 2 things to color. Our server Michelle was fantastic! Both ladies went out of their way to talk and interact with our child. It was greatly appreciated and our child absolutely loved it! The food was great as well!
