My family ordered a variety of items and shared everything, including the primavera mac, flame grilled steak bite appetizer, jalapeno & pepper jack burger, meat lovers pizza and a kids chicken tender meal with fries. I don't normally eat salads but this taco salad is to die for. So delish! My server Carlos is so personable, very attentive & went above and beyond. I will always request him when I come to eat as he understands the customer & is happy to assist you in anyway that he can to make your dining experience a memorable one. My family and I visited this place for Super Bowl, it was a great atmosphere, great food and drinks! Mason was our server and he was a 10/10! He helped us all day and were very attentive. One thing to note is the bar was out of several hard liquors and beer when we first arrived; you would think a stock up would be made for super bowl weekend- just a note! They are no longer dog friendly inside the roll up doors :( we always come here at our stay in Pismo and found out more recently they can no longer (at this time) allow dogs on the inside area due to a recent incident. It didn't stop us from sitting on the outside patio, but bring layers and be prepared because it's cold in the fall :) we love the service here and the ahi nachos. You can't go wrong with any of their dishes and the staff go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Thanks for taking care of us Fabrizio! We've been to the Blast & Brew on the other side of town and we're super excited to see this new location open at the edge of the Sea Crest Oceanview Hotel property. I ordered the cup of steak chili and my Hubby ordered the corn chowder and side salad. The chili was very flavorful and had so many flavors going on when I took my first bite. The spice was generous and bold. The amount of heat was just perfect and not too hot. Now anyone that knows me, knows I am a big chili fan and this was 2 thumbs up. My Hubby had the corn chowder which he said was very good. The texture was thick and there was a good amount of corn and potatoes in his bowl. The salad that he ordered was cold and fresh and the dressing was a not as you would expect from a brew house, it was full of flavor and tasted homemade. I can't wait to try something else on the menu the next time I visit. No reservation, walked in at 7:30 and the place was busy yet we still had menus and water by 7:35 drinks by 7:40. Server was rushed but managed to check up on us throughout our meal and was fast when we needed anything. I ordered their steak, $44. Amazingly good steak. Beautiful sear marks, an actual medium rare as asked, just the right amount of salt and fat. What an amazing steak!! Great sides, especially the zucchini. Loved tasting the beers at the beer wall, sampled about 5 of them before settling on a beer for my steak. Great concept, great ambiance for chilling while fueling the body. We were visiting friends in town. We wanted to stop at a place we haven't been to before for lunch and drinks. Very clean restaurant, pretty views and very friendly servers. The drinks were made very well and tasted very good. Our burgers came with fries and a small salad. I didn't realize or hear that a salad would come with it. The salad looked very good but I don't eat many veggies. Our burgers came out pretty fast. I said thank goodness I can't eat my burger and move the salad away. Our server was laughing. We have eaten here before on our visits to Pismo. Love the location to hotel the Seacrest Ocean View Hotel. This time we at there twice and service was not to par as it has been. Tonight the thing that was not right was we ordered the Farmhouse Cobb salad. They forgot the blue cheese crumbles and gave us ranch instead of blue cheese dressing. When we got our bill they charged us for extra dressing when it was their mistake. Make sure you check your bill. If they do that to every table they would make $200 dollars more. We got here on the morning of New Year's Eve to watch football along with about 40 other people. There was one bartender on killing it. Totally slammed and taking care of everyone with a smile on her face. (Management dropped the ball on helping her at all!). She made sure my tea or Diet Coke was full and made sure my husband always had a drink. We had the cheese curds this morning which were fantastic and the nachos the night before which turned into our dinner. So good and a hearty amount. First of all, I do wanna say I am a loyal customer to this Blast and Brew. However, most of the time that I've been there, I can order a side on top of my fries that come with my meal. This particular time our waitress was extremely unhelpful and seemed drained and busy. This time she said that I had to pay an extra seven dollars to have fries and mac & cheese and I was extremely upset about it so I went to talk to the manager the blonde with glasses And she didn't seem like she wanted to make things right in anyway and backed up what the waitress was saying which made me feel screwed over and ripped off. I went and sat down and waited for my food still feeling a little upset with the service quality. Once you get something even once you expect it to be the same and I don't know but maybe the last waitress didn't follow the rules but honestly I didn't want a large side of fries which I had received I only wanted a small side of fries and a small side of Mac. I ended up paying +6 for the Mac and $7 for the fries that I couldn't even finish. The menu looked like it automatically came with fries which was upsetting. Anyway when I finally received my food my order was wrong so I went to complain again and this time I got the nice Asian manager that was very respectful and understanding and had my food remade and said he would take 15% off which I then started to feel better about this otherwise this review would have been a one star and I probably would've never returned but he saved the day. Once I got my check it didn't show the discount so I went up there to inquire and I guess the Asian manager had taken off so I had to talk to the blonde one and he said "so what are you getting 15% off for?" And "he would have told me about a discount" so I told her to call him to verify because I knew what he said and my 9 year old son even said "yeah he said that" at that moment I think she realized I wasn't lying and went to call him. She came back and immediately added the discount which I am grateful for but honestly I should not have to push that hard for good service. I know some customers take advantage but I am not one of them and I was extremely disappointed and felt like they didn't care at all. The only person that seemed to understand was the Asian manager and he did verify you can only order one side and now I know but honestly all your employees should operate like that because I've gone several times and this is the first time I had to do that. Also, as a suggestion you should be able to order a small side of fries or a small side of Mac because my dad ordered a Mac and his was huge and he wanted one the size I got and I didn't need nearly the amount of fries I got from paying more and you can't save fries without them tasting stale. I do love the ambiance of the place and we always enjoy watching the baseball game on the tv. I do want to mention I did tip the server fairly even though I was treated unfairly and I will return and give it one more chance but honestly please re-evaluate how you charge customers I'd be willing do do a +5 for a small fry but $7 is steep and please don't forget you do have locals not everyone is a tourist. And the fact is I work at a hotel and I've been referring a lot of people to your business. read more

We got the margarita flight and the mimosa flight.. they were both great but we enjoyed the margarita flight better. The atmosphere was awesome and our waitress was very nice. We decided to go back on Sunday to watch the Niners game! Lots of football fans, they had all the games playing on the TVs around the restaurant. There are quite a few choices on the menu. I quickly decided on the Chipotle Steak Bowl. Flame grilled steak, local veggies, and cilantro lime brown rice, served with chipotle aioli sauce. So happy with my choice, because it was delicious. The steak was tender, and the vegetables (zucchini, yellow squash, and broccoli) were cooked perfectly. The cilantro lime brown rice was a good base for the bowl. The chipotle sauce had just enough kick; I'd have to give it an A+. There were six in our party, and everyone was very happy with the food. The service was good; we were seated and served quickly by friendly staff. Lots of big screen tv's (14, I think?). There are tables by the windows for a view; however, those tables were occupied when we arrived so we were seated at a table without the ocean view. She offer to get us some drinks while we waited. We went out and she brought the drinks and later brought us our food to go. My wife loved the pizza. She said it may have been one of the best she has had. My tri-tip dip. Was good. The meat was tender. The sandwich had flavor with out the dip. But you can not eat a dip sandwich without the juice.
