Had heard good things about Blaze so we decided to stop in for a late lunch on Saturday. The line looked pretty long but the assembly line style ordering meant they can move you along quick. I had been warned by fellow Yelper Colleen R. to order the build your own unlimited toppings pizza to ensure you get enough of everything. I passed that info on to my daughter since I wanted to try the White Top, one of their signature pizzas. My pizza included white cream sauce with mozzarella, applewood bacon, chopped garlic, oregano, arugula. My daughter ordered a build your own with their spicy red sauce, mozzarella, bacon, italian sausage and pepperoni. We both enjoyed our pizzas. The combination of the white sauce and bacon was really good. I thought the size of the pizza was perfect. We each ended up taking half home and finishing it for dinner. My daughter, who loves all things spicy, really liked the bite in the spicy red sauce. The staff was really accommodating and friendly. They came around several times asking if we needed anything. Not in that neighborhood often at dinner time but on this occasion was and after being cooped up for so long wanted Pizza. Had been there before and was not disappointed but this time was the worst pizza I ever had. So you know I spent 10 years owning a Pizza Sub restaurant. I do have some experience with food quality. That pie should have never gone out the door and to pass through several hands (so to speak) everyone of them should be retrained or fired. Great concept for fast service pizza. Pick a preset pizza creation or create your own concoction. Generous portions of proteins and a few differents sauces and cheese toppings. They have salads too and a variety or juice beverages from the soda fountain. Parking is a bit of a nuisance and the line gets out the door during the busy meal hours. First time here and it kind of reminded me of Pieology: pizzas that are made to your liking. Loved the garlic pesto sauce that you can add either to the whole pie or just the edge. I had the meat eater pizza without the red onions. Had them add oregano and sea salt at the end (sounded like a good idea however, I didn't taste either one) Sizewise the pizza is sort of like a personal medium. I liked that Paul, not sure if he was the manager or the owner, did walk around the tables and asked customers if everything was good. Did not like that the pizza pie, towards the center, was never cooked. It was actually raw and very chewy. I've been here twice already! Its really really good pizza! I always get the build your own pizza and it comes out to about $8. The staff are really nice, helpful, and friendly. If I am ever hungry and need food stat I would probably come to Blaze. Their ingredients are fresh and they always have really good customer service. They greet you when you come in and there is someone walking around asking if you need anything of they could get you something. I just wish they had more selection in dough and toppings! From the minute I walked in the door. One of the employees greeted me and explained what the process of ordering was! I LOVE all the selections available and the personal pizza is more than enough! I think 2 people could definitely share this! All the choices and ingredients looked very fresh. I was very happy to know they had vegan cheese and vegan sausage. Blaze pizza has a Chipotle theme to it. You go up and order what type of dough you would like then give your name and they will ask what type of pizza you would like, its either build your own or the ones on the menu. If you choose the build your own then you go onto what type of sauce, then cheese, then you go onto the meat selection, and then you top it off with veggies if you'd like. All the pies are personal size, if you're not that hungry you can always share. I had a problem when I went to this Blaze, that is why I'm giving them 3 stars. I went up to order and I chose my dough. I was waiting roughly 5 to 7 mins and nobody was preparing my pizza. There was about 6 people behind me, and as I'm waiting there a lady finally comes and grabs the dough but she calls the lady behind me. I then tell her I was next, and she tells me with an attitude that my dough isn't ready for me to wait. I was going to raise hell up in there, but I decided I just didn't want the pizza anymore. But, my wife had already paid for her pie and my pie. I literally stood there while 3 people that were behind me went ahead of me because the "dough" I chose wasn't ready. Crazy because my wife chose the same dough and she was finished while I was still waiting. Finally my "Magical Dough" was finished and I was able to build my pie. Then as I'm waiting for my pie the lady that was behind me had 3 pies that she ordered, and all 3 of her pies were finished before my 1 pie came out. Decent pizza. Lots of vegan items, and no surcharge for vegan cheese. They were very busy, and keeping up pretty well. But the prep area was less than spotless. The assembly area was not being wiped down, and most of the ingredients, including the sauces, had fallen bits of other ingredients mixed in. The salad greens appeared to have seen better days. Lastly, the oven might have needed a scraping, since my pizza crust bottom was coated with black char. Aside from the char, the pizza was very tasty. I'd say this place is great. But I've gone a couple time when it's busy (that's pretty much always) and the pizza sometimes isn't cooked fully in the center and not cut properly. This is such a great concept. Think of a chipotle or a sub place but with pizzas! You start by ordering what type of crust (original, high rise, gluten free, cauliflower, keto) then you go down the line and order your sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables and other toppings. One you add everything you want, it goes in the oven for about 5 minute or less. By the time you pay, got your drinks, utensils and find a spot they're calling your name because the pizza is ready. Pizzas are personal size but you'll probably be taking some left overs home. They have half pizza boxes available so you can take it home. Their agua frescas are very good and not too sweet. The pizzas are quite tasty. I had a regular thin crust and my friend had the cauliflower. Both great but the cauliflower was surprisingly very good. I am a fan of Blaze's pizza, but this location doesn't get a high rating for me because of the lack of cleanliness. Let me explain. I went for lunch yesterday with my boyfriend because he was given a " BoGo" coupon. We have been to other Blaze locations and have always been pleased with the "build your own pizza." We arrived and I went to the bathroom to go wash my hands as my boyfriend got in line. I would expect most people at a "pizza" restaurants to use the bathroom to wash their hands since we all (well most of us) eat pizza with our hands. I was disgusted upon arriving into the bathroom. It was a one stall unisex bathroom (on the right) and when I walked in I was shocked. The toilet seat had been left up which only highlighted how gross the toilet was as there was urine and fecal matter visible. The trash can was one of those tiny tin ones you'd expect to see in a college dorm- not a franchisee food restaurant. I washed my hands- but still felt gross. I tried to let it go thinking, "maybe they happen to be understaffed and the bathrooms hadn't been tended to yet." They were not understaffed - in fact several staff members were talking in a group behind the counter. I ordered my pizza- the young lady making it put everything on it as I asked- but she appeared to hate her job and could not be less enthusiastic or friendly. I proceeded to give my coupon to another team member at check out and she processed it which gave us one pizza free. ** I also recommend downloading the Blaze app because they give you a free drink credit just for downloading the app. So we got a free pizza and a free drink- not a bad deal. They had several juices to choose from and my favorite was the Blood Orange Lemonade. The dispenser was VERY sticky to the touch- at that point I wasn't surprised. Wiping those down would be so easy to do and would really go a long way. The food quality I would rate 4/5, the speed of service 5/5, cleanliness of the restaurant 1/5, experience with staff 1/5, and price 5/5. Went to there few months ago and was great. However things declined very fast, the same person taking the pizza out the oven was also putting in boxes, had over 8 pizzas sitting out, couldn't find the sheets with whom pizza belong to, meanwhile he had to rush while sweating and take more pizzas out the oven BURNT. Mine was burnt very bad, they made a new one and was burnt again with bubbles. I gave up and threw it away, my son threw his away because they put too much sea salt was excessively salty. This place was CROWDED beyond when me and my daughter arrived. It was prob about 20+ ppl lined up to order their pizza. I was trying to pull up my invite from YELP but the wifi is not the best there. I went to the front and told the young man that I was from yelp and I needed WiFi to pull up my info and he says WELCOME NICE TO HAVE YOU HERE, THE WIFI CODE IS...." He was beyond nice and it wasn't only when I went up there. He gave me the code and since it was my first there he told me when I make it to the front just tell them my name and guest and the 2 pizzas and 2 drinks are on them. I said ok and went and stood in the line. After about 5 more mins another young man comes to me that works there and says "Miss you're from YELP and you don't have to wait in line just go to the front they're waiting on you and your order and don't forget your guest order!" I felt honored but afraid to just walk in front of the ppl that had been standing there for a while needless to say nothing bad happened and the other patrons moved aside. The young lady took my order and then said I'll take both orders. She was too nice. As you can see they did NOT skimp on the ingredients. The pizzas were prepared in record time. The only complaint I have is the pizza was only crispy around the edges and soggy the rest of the way. It was a little cold in the center also. I couldn't believe the quality of the food for the price. After waiting in line for a while (about 10 people in front of me) I finally got to the counter. I found a very polite staff member who had a good sense because I was the only one she asked if I had been there before LOL. Once I said no, this was my first time she took the time to explain it all to me. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!. You can "make your own" or choose from one of the preselected named pizzas. I liked one of the store options so mine was easy. I simply added banana peppers and green peppers in addition to the order. Each employee on the assembly line was just as friendly as the next. Simple process and quick casual dining. The pie was cooked to perfection. The dining room was clean. I posted the pictures and they tasted as good as they look in the pictures. Only issue I have is this location was a little light on the toppings.....so i asked for more...twice. They complied but I was a bit disappointed by that. The pizza maker seemed to be resistant of loading up the pie. But in the end my tummy was full and I had a delicious meal. Nice build your own pizza place. I ordered the Red Vine pizza which was a good vegetarian option. I ordered the 1/2 size since I thought it would be cheaper, however when I went to pay they said they had to charge me for the full size so I ended up asking them to make the other 1/2 if I was going to pay full price anyway. I don't like that they still charge you full price for only half the pizza but other than that the entire staff was very friendly about adjusting my order. My husband and I came here for dinner on a Friday. It was super packed with a long line, which moved fairly slowly. The restaurant itself is set up like a Moe's which other people have noticed. It's also a pretty small space, but we were lucky enough to get a table. As for the food itself, it was decent. My husband got the bbq chicken pizza, and I created my own. They have a large selection of toppings to choose from as well as sauces to top off your pizza at the end. The crust was tasty but too thin for my taste. The best part of Blaze is the $7.95 build your own pizza. There's no limit to the amount of toppings you can add to your pizza. read more

But the customer service execution is TERRIBLE and this is not my first bad service experience here. But last time; I walked in with my SERVICE DOG and Allen, the guy first on the line, told me the dog could not be there, I told him it was a service dog, and he demanded I show him the certification! Which I don't just carry in my pocket. He proceeded to tell me he was not going to give me service if I didn't take the dog outside. I felt ashamed, discriminated and singled out in front of everyone that was there.
