I came to this location on a Saturday night after an evening at the movies. The only location I've gone to is the one over at Disney Springs and I love it that spot! Walking in it was busy but nothing to crazy. I was however very disappointed and shocked to see a huge difference in staff, cleanliness and food contamination! As I was ordering our pizzas, I couldn't help but notice how things fall into other containers and no one bothers to clean it up. Sauce all over the glass, onto other ingredients. Veggies are all picked up HUGE NO NO in the food world. What if a few pieces of mushroom fall into someones pizza that has a high allergy to them?! Everything was dirty, there was no structure, employees just yelling out to others co-workers jokes or pointing out that someone messed up in front of others. The kids were starving so we took a risk but given the opportunity again, I'll pass like a heart attack! Until I see other wise, the only location I'll be eating from is when I visit Orlando. The pizza does taste good, but the staff needs to get it together and management needs to step it up and make sure they keep things as clean as possible. read more

Here's the deal Blaze is one of my top fast casual dining places but my reviews are most of the time based on my whole experience. Blaze puts out a solid product for all pizza lovers alike! For an omnivorous family like mine this aspect is essential. With your standard crust, gluten free, and high rise options to elevate your pizza there's something for everyone. Not digging carbs? No problem there are side and large salads available or maybe your eating a bit healthier and want to go for one of their pizza salads. Yes. Pizza salad!! It doesn't end there folks there are chocolatey tasty desserts and fresh aguas frescas to drink. This particular visit at this location has some service technicalities they need to work through. The staff seemed like they were all new? I was told I couldn't get a side salad but I saw on the menu I could? I've been here before and I never have seen them off their A game. I haven't been here in a few months and all of sudden there were some timing issues, some crazy staff conversations, and also some impatience while trying to find our seats. One thing that we love along with great food is great service as well!! I know this must have been a fluke during a rather slow time with that we knocked a star. I've been to other blaze locations, but this one is my favorite and it never disappoints. Whenever I'm craving pizza this is definitely my go to because of the build your own and also when your group of friends can't agree on toppings. With this concept everyone can have what they want. This place gets pretty crowded for lunch and dinner but there's normally always a seat either inside or outside. There are a lot of toppings to choose from; from the sauces, cheeses, meats, and all the fresh veggies. They even have dessert items. I like the spicy red sauce with pesto. I normally add ricotta and goat cheese, chicken and turkey meatballs. For my toppings they always vary but I choose from the roasted garlic, spinach, artichokes, black olives, pineapple, red onions, red peppers, and mushrooms. Then topped with oregano and a bit of sea salt. Then uses the same dough knife use for regular pizza dough to cut my gluten free dough in half. Balls it up and throws it at the garbage can like he's Steph Curry. He misses. They were out about half the toppings to put on my pizza. But I proceed anyway. I get to the register and the dough knots are already out the oven chilling, literally. My pizza wasn't in the oven yet. Thought it was kind of strange. But this is my first visit. I start to pay and Amy tells me my total. I'm being charged a gluten free upcharge. Which is fine I can read. But I didn't expect to pay a full price upcharge for half a pizza. Specially when half my pizza went in the garbage. Amy smiles and says, Sorry. Doesn't get a manager or nothing I thought, I just knew they were going to use the other half for somebody else pizza. But NOOO. Be to much like right, I guess. This pizza place has such high quality ingredients and I was really impressed. They have a one price Pizza where you can have as many toppings as you would like. The staff who made my pizza was friendly and explained a couple of the ingredients to me that I was unfamiliar with. The pizza cooks in 90 seconds. How cool is that! They also have a couple of lemonades which were interesting, such as blood orange lemonade. This is the one I stuck with through my visit and I will be happy to return here another time. This place was FILTHY. We went at 11:00am on a Sunday, literally at opening, and there was filth all over the restaurant. The tops of the tables all had crumbs, the hallway area between the cash registers/soda machines and the restrooms was disgusting with all kinds of dirty looking stuff on the floor, and then the bathroom. GOOD LORD. I honestly couldn't bring myself to eat after taking my 4 year old to the restroom. There was nothing clean in the restroom. Again, this was at 11:00am WHEN THEY OPENED, there is no excuse for an opening restaurant to be this gross. The plexiglass separating the servers from the customers was also filthy. Bottom line, I don't think I could ever bring myself to come back. Sure, maybe it was an off day.. but it's unacceptable to be serving food in those conditions. I went on Sunday 8/6 and it was about an hour towards closing they had a little rush and took the time to service everyone with apologies and patience. They restocked changed gloves cleaned the prep stations and got back to work to keep the line running smooth and quick. There was a young lady named Adriana (I believe was the name tag on her hat) who was working with such diligence and excellence. The manager had all hands on deck and was apologizing for the wait to every patron in line. The food was still fresh and delicious and even though it was late I was still able to get every thing I wanted (unlike Chipotle). I would give this experience a 10/10 even though I had to wait. Fast forward a few years and I'm relegated to a low carb diet :( I was delighted to see that they offered a keto crust and since I've really been missing pizza I decided to give it a try. I was a little surprised to see that they charged an extra $4 for a keto crust... I thought that was a little steep. Totally worth it if the crust was really good but, alas, it was terrible... probably cardboard has a little more flavor. It maybe could have been saved by the toppings but they were so skimpy on the cheese and toppings. As many toppings as you want for one flat price. I know right? So here's my go to: Regular sauce (they also have spicy, which I haven't tried yet!) Shredded mozz Ovalini mozz Ricotta Italian sausage Italian meatballs mushrooms black olives sea salt oregano And when it comes out of the oven - a splash of pesto! I've eaten here SO MANY TIMES, I can't believe I haven't written a review for it! Blaze is my favorite fast-casual, custom pizza eatery. There are others like it, but Blaze is my favorite. Their service is fast and friendly. The ingredients are fresh. And obviously your pizza is customized and made to order because you are the one deciding how it's made! How Blaze works: You go down the line, choosing what kind of dough you want, the sauce, and the toppings. I like to ask my crust to be cooked a little longer because it starts to get saggy in the middle after they pile on the goodies (and they are VERY generous)! They put the 11-inch personal pies in the oven and call your name when it's done! If you're not feeling very creative, you can choose from 9 pre-set pies on their menu (you can also customize those as well). The Davie location is constantly busy, but the staff is always nice. They clean the tables regularly so there's always seating. It's not clearly seen, but if you turn the corner by the oven, you will find napkins, seasoning shakers, and take home boxes if you don't finish. I like adding extra cheese on my pizza, especially the fresh mozzarella. Put extra toppings or just keep it on half...it's YOUR pizza! I got a s'more pie for dessert too. You can get it from the display case, or you can have them toast it in the oven after you're done with your pizza and pick it up later. Super awesome way to end your meal! I feel like on the seventh day God didn't rest, he created Blaze Pizza. What a great concept. I'm sure they probably get tired of being called, "the chipotle of pizza", but basically that's what it is. You get in line, are greeted by a friendly pizza artist, pick the type of dough (there is gluten free if you're into that), sauce, cheeses, and then toppings. In addition to pizza they sell side salads and festers. The dessert is a smores cookie type concoction with is delicious. It, like the pizza, is made in the flash fire. So let's talk about the flash fire, right? So I'm 180 seconds you have a hot and ready pizza. No matter how many toppings (although they do not recommend loading it up too much because the center gets soggy), you're ready to eat in around 3 minutes. I love a thin crust pizza basically because I don't feel as bad about eating an entire pizza when I get it thin crust. All their ingredients are fresh, locally grown if possible and made with the highest quality of ingredients. The owner really takes pride in serving quality food without putting the consumer at risk. At pizza will cost you around 7-8 bucks. Side salad is around $5 ( I get a Caesar) Soda is about 2ish. For a tasty meal you can't beat the price. You can always take what you can't eat home, they'll happy provide you with a box, but let me know what that's like because I've never done that. read more

When I think of Blaze, I think of the old Burger King slogan, "Have it your way", because at Blaze you can truly orchestrate the creation of your own pizza. The only part of the pizza that is pretty standard is the crust. You have a choice of regular or gluten-free. I have only had the regular which is thin and crispy. There are three sauces choices: tomato, spicy tomato, and creamy white. Then the sky's the limit! Choose from a huge variety of cheeses, meats, and veggies to make your own personal pie. If you choose the unlimited toppings ($7.95), there is no limit to the amount of toppings you can choose! But unlimited toppings would not be important if the final product was not good and this pizza was absolutely delicious! My only hesitation about going to Blaze is that during lunch and dinner hours is that the line can get very long. I have been there when the line was out the door and it took about 15-20 minutes to get to the front. Once at the front, the friendly staff will take your name, your choice of crust, sauce, and then you move down the line to choose your other toppings. Once your creation is complete it goes in the oven for 90 seconds and then it is done. There is only one person in the family who did not like the pizza at Blaze: My 11 year old. So the next time we went to Blaze he ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad and enjoyed it. The place is fairly small but we have never had problems getting a table. There is always staff on the floor to make sure things are running smoothly. For us, Blaze is great food at a reasonable price in a convenient location. We went here because it was on our way home from shopping and several people told us how good it was. No one told us it's like a Subway but for pizza!! I was very indecisive about how many toppings I should get or a signature pizza. I let the cashier choose for me lol. I ordered white cream sauce, Gorgonzola, mozzarella, meatball, bacon, onion, garlic, oregano, balsamic glaze, and buffalo sauce. I realize it all sounds weird together but it was delicious! Place was packed. We got to the front of the line and ordered the Green Stripe Pizza, pesto drizzle over grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, chopped garlic, mozzarella, arugula. Even though it says it on the paper they lay the pizza in, they still ask you if you want the ingredients. They tell you "Follow the Pizza." I originally went there because my friend wanted pizza, I wanted a salad. I thought they made the salad there but it is pre packaged. I was not impressed. The romaine on the salad is more of the stalk part of the romaine, not too green. They also offer craft beer like Angry Orchard, Magic Hat, Native, Funky Buddha to mention a few. You pay at the end. Then they call your name once the pizza is ready. It was literally maybe 5 minutes, very fast pizza! They have great customer service, very attentive staff. We had a young man come by multiple times, offering to take our plates and trash away. The pizza itself was ok, I didn't care for the salad. Not a place I would go to again. But would recommend if you need a very quick lunch. We must of seen over 100 customers in the little time we were there. It's a great place to bring the kiddos. This is my fav pizza joint hand down. You get to customize your own pie for $8 and have ALL the toppings that you want. That is a thin crust but you can pay more if you want a different crust. It is fast - pizza cooks in 3 minutes and convenient and cheap, one pizza is about 8.35$, and it is pretty sizable. The quality of the dough is subpar - it tastes oily and chewy albeit thin, and has the corn starch under. But for a quick bite and with the convenience of building your own, it is worth it. We had plenty of pizza left over that we brought home and while obviously I would much rather eat hot pizza out of the oven, eating it room temperature later at home was still not bad. For cheeses, they have several to choose from and you can choose multiple if you'd like. They have various choices for veggies and meat as well. The same goes for the meats as well, so if you're a meat lover, then you don't have to worry about an extra charge. The pizza is very quick to cook, and to dough is neither too thin or thick, kind of in-between, but crunchy to a crisp. This part is the fun part if you love the meat lovers style pizza. They have everything from pepperoni, sausage, bacon, salami, chicken, meatballs... hopefully I got them all. Needless to say, you can pile everthing on if you want to, or create your own theme styled pizza, Greek, bbq, meat lovers, cheese lovers, veggie supreme, the options are there. After your creation, the pizza is finished off in a brick oven and baked to perfection. This time around I got regular crust, pesto sauce, and pesto on the crust. Topped it with Mozzarella, parmesan, and goat cheese. Skipped the meats. Added basil leaves, red onions, caramelized onions, mushrooms, little course salt, and Italian herbs. Yummy! There fountain drinks are good. You have a choice between sodas, tea, and fresh juices, or flavored water. They also sell beer and wine. The fresh juices are unique and refreshing. Best of all.... FREE REFILLS! (You don't see that word very often) Don't skip dessert... there chocolate chip cookies are filled with gooey, chocolatey goodness. I love it! The brownies are soft and fudgy, with the perfect crisp on top. And, the smores pie is my daughters favorite. Two Graham cookies, with marshmallow and chocolate in between. She lives the gooey, chocolatey, marshmallowy goodness as well. If you want the desert served warm you can ask for them to heat it up. I noticed that they have also expanded their menu. They now serve 3 types of salads, strawberry, goat cheese on mixed greens, caesar salad, and berry and feta salad. I emailed this feedback to corporate over 2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard back. I spent 45 minutes at your Davie location and I had a terrible experience. While I was next up to order there were over 10 online orders printed. When the employee was about to take my order another 5 online orders printed. So of course the employee put all of the online orders ahead of me when I should have been done with ordering my pizza. But that's not the main reason for my terrible experience. After waiting a generous amount of time, my order was ready. The employee packed up the cheesy bread and only one of my pizzas. The person pulling the pizzas out of the oven laid down about 10 more pizzas on the table. I told the guy who was packing up my order that I still was waiting on a pizza that was right in front of him, ready to be boxed. He obviously didn't hear me or care about what I was saying as he continued packing the pizzas made after mine into boxes. So my pizza was just sitting and sitting and sitting. I told him again and he just looked at me. The customer next to me saw what was happening and told the guy to pack up my pizza. The guy then just handed me a box without my pizza. I then again told him and made a bigger deal that orders after mine have been boxed up and I'm standing here waiting on a pizza that was done minutes ago. Once he realized the problem, he didn't apologize or anything. He handed me my pizza that wasn't even warm anymore and I was on my way. Now my entire order is room temperature. read more

They have a fake two option we well where you can get half a pizza and half an order of cheesy bread or a side salad which I love because a whole pizza is pretty large. I absolutely love this place. I've often described the process similar to chipotle (assembly line). There are various types of pizzas to choose from or you can "make your own"! You can even choose one of their specialty pizzas and add more toppings! The way it works: When you get to the beginning of the line someone asks your name and writes it down on a corner of wax paper, places a fresh pizza dough down, then it travels down the line for you to choose a sauce, cheeses, and various toppings! The best part is that you can choose as many toppings as you like and I've never been charged extra for asking for more ! The pizza is on the thinner side and its a pretty good size. I always eat about 3/4ths of it and save the rest for later but I'm sure there are lots of people who can eat the whole thing ;) read more

I've been a fan of Blaze for quite a while. I've been able to visit locations in different states and I am actually quite thrilled about the fact that there is one in the area. While I would rather it be closer to my house (25 min drive), I make the trek every so often so that I can get the fast-fire'd pizza of my choice. Honestly, the setup is pretty simple. You walk up into the line and you're asked your name and what kind of pizza (size and dough), or salad you would like. You have the choice of those that are already designed --- like your cheese, pepperoni, or whatever --- or you can build your own. You then proceed to choose your sauce, meat, veggies, and finishings. While you pay for your order and purchase a beverage, they then pop it into the massively huge oven and bake it to order. You can lastly add any additional sauces you would like on top. The pizzas are amazing!!! You get exactly what you want out of a pizza that's not too heavy, not too crusty, not too big and made just for you. This location is the only one I've been to in South Florida and I think it can be very hectic. They only lose a start because it has such an influx of patrons (due to its solidarity as the only location spanning a few towns) and that can sometimes cause them to not have gotten around to cleaning the dining area and restrooms. Blaze is a great "chipotle-style" pizza place at a reasonable price. The line can be a bitch though. Having never been here, I jumped at the chance to try a "build your own" pizza place. I was even more excited when I heard the crust was good and ingredients were fresh. After parking, we walked up to find the line going out the door. It was a Wednesday night, so this was a little surprising for me. In fact, we decided to try the life hack I heard about and ordered from our phones and then sat down and waited for the pizzas. If you were to wait in line, when you get to the cafeteria-style glass, you would build your pizza with any toppings you feel fit. After you are done with your toppings, they bake the pizza for you and call your name when it is done. Since we ordered online and skipped the line, we just got our drink cups and waited for our names to be called as we talked and hung out. Once the pizza was done, I was happy with everything about it. It was big enough to be filling. The crust was what you would expect from a wood-fired oven. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The only issue I had was the line. This isn't a quick place to go for a bite, and if you are hungry, waiting 45+ minutes can be a real bummer. Other than that, everything was awesome and I'll surely come back. If totally customized pizza cooked in a coal oven with a nice, crispy crust is your jam, check out Blaze. Blaze is the closest pizza place that offers Vegan cheese and I'm so happy about that! I like the vegan chorizo but it is on the spicy side so be cautious if you are not a fan of spicy! (Don't have a pic of the chorizo) love that you can customize and add as many toppings as you want! read more

Had heard good things about Blaze so we decided to stop in for a late lunch on Saturday. The line looked pretty long but the assembly line style ordering meant they can move you along quick. I had been warned by fellow Yelper Colleen R. to order the build your own unlimited toppings pizza to ensure you get enough of everything. I passed that info on to my daughter since I wanted to try the White Top, one of their signature pizzas. My pizza included white cream sauce with mozzarella, applewood bacon, chopped garlic, oregano, arugula. My daughter ordered a build your own with their spicy red sauce, mozzarella, bacon, italian sausage and pepperoni. We both enjoyed our pizzas. The combination of the white sauce and bacon was really good. I thought the size of the pizza was perfect. We each ended up taking half home and finishing it for dinner. My daughter, who loves all things spicy, really liked the bite in the spicy red sauce. The staff was really accommodating and friendly. They came around several times asking if we needed anything.
