Solid pizza, good service, the half pizza combo is a great deal. I have visited multiple locations in the Boise area and they are all good.

I popped in at about 130 on a Wednesday and there were about eight people total in the restaurant. The place was clean and music was not blaring. Upon entering, the staff was attentive to greet. Pleasant people with pleasant smiles. The prep bar behind the counter was fully stocked and looked great. Clean and orderly. They were quick to take the order and with precision the two people behind the counter, jumped into action, each knowing their job well. The guy that greeted me was a great conversation list and asked how my day was going and if I had anything fun planned. Good personalities. I told him I was a little surprised there weren't many people in the restaurant and he had said that the night time was their busy time. I'll make a mental note of that. The pizza I ordered was a two item, pepperoni and salami, with extra pepperoni and extra sauce, and it was fantastic as usual. I usually order the thick crust and it did not disappoint. The only reason I gave it a four was because the tables weren't as clean as they could be. That seems to be a recurring issue here, but definitely not a showstopper for me. Other than that everything else looked good. Parking is ample, right behind the O'Reilly here on the corner of Chinden and Linder on the north east corner. 1. Pi Day promo did not clearly state not ALL pizzas participated. Only 11"? How small was the print I missed? 2. In-store menu is not the same as the online menu. "Green Stripe" was nowhere to be found in the in-store menu. 3. Ordered two of the Green Stripe pizzas. Got home. No Green stripes (pesto drizzle) on it. No arugula that was supposed to be added after baking. Pizzas were cold, poorly topped with some white sauce, a few chicken bits and a little cheese. Had to top it off with some real ingredients of my own at home. Dear owner of this franchise. You need to invest time in training your staff. It was around 4PM and it was obvious there was no direction being given to the multitude of deer eyed teenage employees working that shift. I would certainly not recommend this location. I may try a different location, but will most likely try a different brand/franchise next time. read more

What the heck !! I'm a long time Blaze fan and customer, The last 4 times I've ordered there had been some kind of problem. The order l placed online 3 weeks ago wasn't ready until 45 minutes after "ready time" . And it was burnt!! Today's order was a little late... it was busy... understandable...., BUT..... I don't leave reviews very often but after the last several experiences there and reading others reviews I just had to. Something HAS to be done about this location. Perhaps the delivery/pickup business model in general. My latest experience... used the app which I like ok except when it comes to actually picking up or getting something delivered. Ordered delivery. App says I'd be getting it at 6:32pm. At 6:35 the nice door dash driver texts me and says she is waiting at the store and will be there as soon as my order is ready. Nice of her to let me know. At 6:45 she texts again and says my order was ready for over 10 minutes and behind the counter and nobody said anything or made it available for her to pick up until she asked about it. She was so sorry because my pizza was cold when it got to me. I did not blame her one bit because I had the same experience happen to me when I ordered pick up. I watched them make my pizza and then they left it sitting while sending out pizzas that ordered behind me. So we had cold pizza and my daughter's simple pie was basically all sauce with a small bit of cheese. If my daughter didn't like the blaze pizza franchise so much I'd never order from any of them again. Management/owner please do something. read more

This location is the closest one to me but it would be faster to go to any other location. Someone took my order today and the employees had to remake it. This is not the first time I've had to wait for my order to be remade if it was even made on time to begin with. The last time I placed an order I waited almost an hour for my pizzas. The concept here is a good one - you choose what you want on your pizza, as much as you want, for one price. It's like when you go down the line at Subway and say you want this or that on your sammie. Same thing here. We went here because they were doing a fundraiser for the high school band - 20% of whatever was spent that evening was going to the band - so good on them for doing this. My family enjoyed their pizza. I did not. And I am not knocking them for me not liking it because it's just a personal preference for me: too fired for my taste. But if you like it that way, crispy and charred, then you'll have no issue here. I will say that I loved the toppings that I chose on my pizza - that part was delicious. read more

The service is so slow, as if they just don't care taking their time. I thought it was occasional so I wanted to wait before I wrote this review. With several months of this same experience, I'm compelled to write this review. We come in during times where we have 3-6people ahead of us in line, it took 40mins just to get to the point where we can order (4people ahead of us). They seem to prioritize online orders and do them super fast, but those pizzas get done quickly, to sit there waiting to be picked up getting cold. With so many people in line, there is a lack of situational awareness and sense of urgency. Online orders seem to take priority, even at the boxing stage. We just watched our cooked pizzas sitting on the cooling racks getting legitimately cold. After 5-8mins of waiting, we had to physically walk up to ask them to cut our pizza, so we can at least eat the pizzas a little warm. It was lukewarm pizza. This place could do so well if they hired kids who care. The only one who cares is the manager/lead, but there's only 1 of him and he focuses on online orders, which may be why they are so productive there. I haven't given up yet, but be forewarned on this location. Go to other locations if you are in a time crunch. read more

The restaurant was filthy from the prep counters to the tables to the drink fountain. No one was cleaning or wiping down anything. The food was mediocre at best. Skimpy on the toppings. Our table had 3 different crusts and none were special. Certainly not a value for the food. HORRIBLE. This has happened 5 times in a row now. I spend $13 on a Build Your Own pizza and it looks like this. IT HAD LITERAL BURN HOLES IN IT! It took them 45 minutes to cook this. Burnt, little to no toppings, no sauce, hard as a rock. I'd prefer to go to McDonald's, spend $5 and eat a meal that I won't break my teeth on and that I will actually enjoy. Horrible place to eat at. Their employees have no love for what they do and don't care about the customers they serve. I'd spend your money elsewhere. read more

This Blaze Pizza is horribly managed. If you order online expect to wait an additional 45 minutes for them to get you your pizza. Pizzas come out burnt on a regular basis and the staff just pack it up and give it to you like it's no big deal. Worst experience ever. read more

I totally agree with others lower star ratings for this particular location. I absolutely LOVE Blaze, but not this location. Their prices are so reasonable, everyone can get what they want and the GF crust is really very good; a fete in itself. The low rating for this particular location is just as others have mentioned, the staff is horrible. I've been several times in hopes that it was just an off night and nope the problems always seem to be there. Super long wait times while staff is standing around doing nothing, sloppy and skimpy on the toppings, unfriendly staff, burnt pizza crust, staff hanging out in the lobby visiting on their phones . . . I've seen it all. And if there is someone in charge, I've yet to see them step up and actually do their job. It always appears it's a free for all in there. Though this location is so much more convenient, it's worth the drive to the Eagle Road location knowing the service is guaranteed to be better. read more

I love Blaze! You can tell by my reviews of different locations! This location has some bugs that it needs to work out, but I'm sure in due time it will be great. The only complaint that I really have is that the store tends to be a mess & a lot of employees spend their time chatting with one another. The plus side of the employees are that they are all very friendly. If they would just clean things up as they talked things would be great. For example, a customer notified an employee that there was a bunch of blood on the men's bathroom floor. He said it looked as though someone may have gotten a bloody nose or something. At this point, I have been standing at the counter waiting for my food, and it has been over 8 minutes since the customer told the employee about the bathroom. There are a total of 6 employees all in a cluster talking. I just don't get it. As I said, I think that they will get better in time. But the food is delicious! read more

Blaze Pizza is sort of a Chipotle solution to the pizza business. For $7.95 you can build your own 11-12 inch pizza with as many toppings and white or red sauce as you would like. Now, don't expect artisan pizza, but they turn out pretty good, especially when you are in a hurry. The normal crust is a thin crust, but this time we tried their gluten free crust. It is $2 more (as is the thick crust),but surprise of surprises, it was very good. It turns out crisper and tasty. I thought it was worth the extra $$ and my father was Scrooge McDuck, or so they say. I might share one of their brownies next time. The place was very clean and the workers were well trained. They jumped to other tasks when customer load slacked, like sweeping up or folding boxes (unlike a local taco place, newly opened). A good option for a quick lunch. read more

I've been to other locations so was surprised when the place was not even half full during dinner hours. Makes you wonder what others know that you don't. On the plus size, they didn't have the music cranked like other places. And their drink selection was really good. On the negative- the girl making the pizzas couldn't have seemed to care less about getting the sauce on the right parts of the dough (more on and over edges than in middle), skimpy on ingredients and way more interested in her co-workers. Oh man I've been coming here since they opened and I agree with another reviewer on how it seems they've gone downhill. When I arrived there was like 10-12 teenagers it seemed working, most of them were just standing around. I had a gal who seemed relatively new and did not give you the right amount of toppings you usually desire. She was skimping on the cheese, had to ask her for more on all of my 4 pizzas. She started pulling the artichokes apart, which from my experience in the past they usually plop them on there and not pull apart. Of course I had to ask for extra. I got a vine pizza for my mother in law to go and she had also taken the mozzarella pearl balls and tore them into tiny little pieces, sorry but like what!? I'm assuming no one taught her how to place toppings. One of my half pizza's was burnt to a crisp as well. I might have to give it a try one more time, hopefully they can redeem themselves. read more

Blaze Pizza it's an absolute fantastic restaurant where I live in Meridian I have the option of a dozen or more restaurants and I choose Blaze Pizza and when I send someone a gift certificate or give an employee at my complex a gift certificate I send them to Blaze Pizza because I know they'll enjoy the experience and I know they will return to Blaze Pizza and yet I have purchased $150 worth of gift cards and the blaze app does not allow someone who buys gift cards to get credit for them you get 0 Flames for sending a potential new customer to Blaze Pizza Newark can you contact Blaze Pizza via email or phone the only way you can get ahold of corporate is through a Written Letter via the mail. Perhaps someone who can walk and write a letter and go and drop it off at the mailbox this is an option but you're in a wheelchair fighting ALS the only option you can do is use voice texting to express your concerns so maybe from now on I'll send everybody to The Habit for burgers or Chipotle. Better yet from now on I will just send Thankyou cards with cash. I just do not like Companies that make it impossible to communicate with. We are in town visiting family and were looking for something quick and tasty for dinner. We were all in the mood for Pizza and had heard of Blaze and since it was close decided to give it a try. Well, it was fast, and it smelled like pizza. I have not been this disappointed with a restaurant in a long time. When we got home and opened the boxes, we found our two topping pizzas severely lacking in toppings. One of the pieces of our pepperoni and onion had no pepperoni OR onion. 1.5 pepperoni pieces on average per each piece and a tiny shaving of one ring of onion. The sausage and artichoke pizza wasn't any better with about the same for sausage and the slivers of artichoke were so tiny they were barely distinguishable. The sauce and cheese was barely there on both pizzas, which were practically dry. Makes me question what else they are skimping on? Quality of ingredients? Food safety? Do yourself a favor and order your pizza from ANYwhere else while in the area! read more

I placed an order at the front counter and showed the discount app on my phone and the the order taker honored this discount so I proceeded to place my order. Two 1 topping pizzas for $10 When I got to the cashier, he couldn't find the discount code so he summoned another employee to resolve the issue. Assuming it was someone in charge, she stated in order to receive the discount, the order had to be placed online. I told them both the guy taking my initial order said it was not a problem but the cashier stated the guy who took my order was new and didn't know the process. At this point, the pizzas are in the oven so instead of providing good customer service and honoring their mistake as a company, they would only make cheese pizzas at the lower price and of course they dumped the 1 topping pizzas in the garbage when it came out of the oven and made new pizzas.
