We vacationed in Florida over the holidays and My aunt and uncle took us to Blaze pizza in sarasotta. We fell in love. We went every week we were there and have done nothing but brag how good it was. The people there knew my family by name and everyone smiled and worked so well together, the food was fresh and the store had someone walking around cleaning the tables, floors etc, keeping it very clean. Then service s exstremely fast. You walk a line like subway and choose your toppings as much as you want, they through in brick oven and its ready by the time you sit down/ We found out there is one here in Indiana so we will be gathering people up and heading to it. We wanted to try the vegan pizza now that they have the vegan chorizo & cheese and it did not disappoint! We got the original crust after finding out it is vegan too. Last time we had the gluten-free, not knowing about the original, and it had a slight after taste I didn't care for. They also had no vegan cheese and meat option at the time, so wasn't the best. With the original crust & new vegan options, our pizzas were fabulous! The chorizo was spicy but very flavorful. Very rude workers. I came in a large group, and they rolled their eyes and made a huge deal about the size of our group. Had attitudes and went to the back to talk about us. The workers continued to look at us and whisper, roll their eyes, throw their hands up, etc. These workers should expect customers, as they literally work in a restaurant. I'm really disappointed in the service I received today at Blaze. I decided to order online to skip the line during my lunch break. When I got there I waited for a couple minutes for someone to even recognize I was standing there. I asked for my pizza and the lady said something about the printer being messed up and printed my order twice and it was never made. She said it would take about 5-10min to make another. I waited patiently and just as they were about to put the pizza in they dropped it on the floor so I waited another 15min for my new pizza. When I got it, the pizza was missing toppings and didn't have what I asked. So I waited about 30mins for the wrong pizza. Not happy. read more

I went for the grand opening, as each customer got a free pizza. The line was out the door, but was organized and moved surprisingly fast. I was impressed by the number of meats, toppings, sauces, cheeses, and veggies to choose from. The pizza crust was very thin and it was a little difficult to pick up the pizza to eat it. It was easier to eat it with a fork. The crust was chewy and hot. I would definitely return and think you get a great pizza for the price. The pizza came out very fast. My only complaint was there there isn't a great place to wait for your pizza without feeling like you are in the way! I wish there was a larger waiting area. Had a great experience! I come to this location all the time! Today was my first time using the Blaze Mobile app to order my food for lunch. After picking up my lunch and making it back to work, I noticed a few minor hiccups in my order. Called the store back and spoke with Manager Christina S. and without any question and any hassle, she stated that she would fix my order for free and we sat a time for me to pick up my order. Being that I was in a hurry, I placed one of those "skip the line" online orders - it was supposed to be ready to go at 8:40, according to the confirmation email. In my experience ordering in person at Blaze, online orders that were placed after I walked in have definitely skipped me, so I thought I would get the same treatment ordering online. Not so much! I walked in a couple minutes after my order should have been ready to go. They were plentifully staffed, as in more employees than customers. When I asked for my order (one pizza), they said they had just put it in the oven. It comes out, and as the girl is cutting it, she cuts from the half-bacon to the only-cheese side (inadvertently spreading the bacon all over, so no longer half-bacon) and lobs off half the ovalini. I get it to where it's going, and the dough is hardly even cooked all the way through and the ovalini (what's left of it ) has a consistency like rubber. I really want to like Blaze, but stupidity like this happens A LOT. With the employee to customer ratio, there is no reason that my pizza shouldn't have been exactly what I asked for, when I asked for it. read more

Horrible experience! I just waited at this location for 20 minutes. When I complained and asked for a manager I was told "sorry, we are short staffed". Clearly that was not the case 3+ staff members came from the back to assist with the line about 15 minutes into my visit. I just spent $37 at this location. Walked in with 3 people in line ahead of me, and 2-3 were going through the line. Took 23 minutes to get my "to go" pizza from start to finish. Solid product, that's why I spend money here. But rethinking this. There are enough workers, but the efficiency level is so very low. My pizza was out of the oven with many others sitting there while people who had ordered after me were getting their pizzas. I usually in the restaurant, but took it home today. It was not hot, only somewhat warm. I don't live that far away. Product is solid, but I've been frustrated here by the pace so many times. Per another review, tonight 4 phone/app orders jumped the line ahead of people in line in person. I think Blaze should rethink how those orders go through the line, if they can't have speedy service for the people who bother to show up in person. I would gladly trade in the garlic knots (don't add products--do one thing great), the asking if my pizza looks great, and the "bro"-talk for faster processing through the line. It always seems like people are moving from task to task here. Interesting that unlike so many other fast food places, Blaze doesn't have a survey option on their receipt. Pizza is decent, would be better if they cooked it a tad longer. The salads- don't even think about it! They are pre-made and soggy. Because they are premise you cannot change the ingredients. The pizza was pretty good but only 2 out of 9 staff members were wearing masks properly. Most were not covering their nose, one staff member had the mask hooked under his chin completely not covering mouth or nose, the one working the oven kept unhooking one side of his mask and let it hang off the opposite ear, not coving mouth or nose. They also shut off the soda fountain for our 'safety' and sold a 20oz soda for $3. I don't think they are super concerned with my safety, I think they want to gouge you on the drinks. I may go back but I will not do so during covid and I will bring my own drink. read more

The pizza here has fantastic flavor to it. I find this place much better than most of the local competitors such as Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Pizza by the harbor, and Juan's Pizzeria. Although I am not sure if this place sells beer because I have never been here before the only reason I know is because my friend Deshawn Marquis who also has an account told me about here. However I have heard from my friend Tyrone that there is dog poop in the bushes next to the building but he jokes around a lot. The restaurant was a mess, the tables were dirty. We had to ask to clean the table and they handed us wet paper towels. The restroom was also a mess and had no TP. Used to love this Blaze Pizza! But last time I was there you could tell that there was some major cross contamination going on! It made me worried I would get sick by eating my pizza.They are always out of toppings and they seem to never go in the back and get more. My wife and I have been doing Keto diet for months. They have advertised a "Keto crust pizza" for weeks. But.. they NEVER HAVE IT. Been there four times in the last two weeks, always out.
