Fast service but friendly and helpful. Tried the Carnivore on regular crust - just the right size

After a few years absence we gave them a try again. SHE who cashes my retirement check likes to make her own pizza by picking the toppings of preference. Lots to choose from and she did well. Blaze now offers a choice of several salads (see photo) which is improvement over last time here. Still no sweetner for iced tea but at least they had some for us. Ditched the small plastic cups use larger waxed ones now. Still need to cook pizza a bit long. They are competing for a share of our pizza meals with newer one in Granite Park in Plano. read more

Went here in March, we were in town for a cheer comp at The Star and we were craving pizza after a long day. We stumbled on this place through Yelp and we were honestly disappointed with the customer service at this Blaze Pizza location. We were the only customers in the store, and it still took about 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. No greeting, no eye contact--just silence. Not one person smiled or showed any kind of friendliness. The entire staff looked like they didn't want to be there and were just going through the motions like robots. It created an awkward and unwelcoming atmosphere that made the whole experience uncomfortable. The food was okay--not amazing, not terrible--but the service really overshadowed it. I've never been to any other Blaze location, so I don't know if this is just how they operate, but based on this visit, I won't be rushing back anytime soon. read more

Food isn't bad, but isn't anything special. There were about 7-8 employees just staring at me even though I was in the "order here" area. It wasn't until I asked where to order that they kind of mumbled at me before asking me what I wanted to order. This business could do better as a to-go service; not best for dine-in. read more

Showed up at 10:30 when closure is at 11PM. Have a guy saying closed at the door but the line was only about 10 people deep inside. Which means they JUST turned me away. Second time I tried to eat at Blaze tonight. Sadly, y'all don't know that businesses should close doors AT closing time & not before. People rearrange their lives based on your posted hours & you have lost me as a customer because you can't honor that simple thing. Veggie pizza didn't have many veggies, way too much cheese & very greasy. Lots of sodium, can't drink enough water after eating this pizza. It also had what tasted like some Indian spices in it, not good on a pizza. The male wearing fake eyelashes & makeup didn't say a word to me, on the phone in a corner when I came in. I said I was there to pick up a previously ordered veggie pizza, he just nodded grabbed the pizza & put it on the counter. When I asked for napkins he just pointed. Our little guy wanted cheese pizza. We were close to IKEA and decide to try out Blaze Pizza. The pizzas are bigger than expected and reasonably priced! The crust was a little chewy for our liking but the flavors were good! We tried the BBQ chicken, Chicken parm, and of course, CHEESE. It didn't seem to be super clean. I've worked at blaze at the colony location years ago so am very aware of how the procedures work. I'm not sure who's managing the Frisco location, but this is the most uncoordinated team i've witnessed. The lack of customer service, unsanitary procedures, and contamination should truly be audited and reviewed. A guy named fence or whatever (has dreads) decided to reply to the question "Was the pizza double cooked" with "I don't know I just work here". Yea no duh, I'm surprised he applied with the amount of intelligence he lacked. Eva, red hair with a braid : I requested her to write "double cut" on the pizza paper to make the pizza cutters job easier. After a simple request she blurted out "I can't deal with another person". Yea, you should probably leave customer service then or preprare dough in the back. Additionally, I was notifying another individual of the contamination in the cheese bin. A banana pepper ended up in the mozzarella cheese bin, so I was informing him to prevent other customers from getting that on their pizza. He grabbed another handful of cheese and almost the banana pepper on my pizza. Same guy also tried to make us a pizza with a poorly pressed dough which did not have a crust. Additionally, the amount of food waste at this location is astronomical. The person who made our pizza had flippy hair and didn't use any of the right measurements. Especially the mozzarella cheese, which I know had the highest costs. He disregarded the spoon completely and gave us a large handful of the cheese (appreciated, but not protocol and should be audited.) Every individual who touched my pizza did not wash their hands prior to putting on gloves. This is a sad team with no experience in the customer service field and especially the food industry. read more

Good experience. Solid fast causal pizza dinner for those craving personal pizzas. I hadn't been here in a hot minute since covid hit, but was pleased with the experience I had. All the staff members wore masks and gloves and tables were routinely cleaned in-between each customer. If you haven't been to Blaze Pizza it's a fast causal pizza joint where you build your pizza in an assembly line, pay, then pick up your pizza afterwards. Choose between different crust (I recommend the original) and from then on choose either one of their pre-built pizzas or build your own! I like that everything is all toppings included and not per topping added. After your pizza finishes baking you can add any of their finishing sauces/oils (get the balsamic!!). Overall had a good experience, staff was friendly. There are times when the line got long and there was a little bit more of a wait, but worth it if you're craving pizza that you get to create on your own! read more

My wife and I are new to the vegan scene and when we learned Blaze pizza could give my wife and I a vegan pizza experience, we got there as soon as we could. They have a set up like Subway, they build your pizza the same way Subway builds your sandwiches. But obviously the quality at Blaze is way way better. My wife's pizza was light red sauce, vegan cheese, Soyrizo, bell peppers, and onions. Mine was regular red sauce, vegan cheese, Soyrizo, jalapeños, banana peppers, roasted garlic, with a bbq drizzle. This is similar to places like Mod pizza, Pieology... places that allows you to build your own pizza chipotle style. You go through the line telling staff what sauces and toppings you want. I'm someone who loves veggies on my pizza so these places are AMAZING for me. Staffs are nice - they won't shame you for adding all the toppings. lol. They also have pre-assembled pizzas you can order from if you don't trust yourself choosing the toppings. Blazed is also nice because their pizzas are very thin-crusted. I also like how you can pick your final toppings after the pizza is done. I always do arugula with some balsamic glaze. You can also ask for extra sauce on the side if you want. This is a review for the vegan in the back- This place is AWESOME! After years without pizza, it's so nice to go somewhere and get a vegan pizza that satisfies the craving. They have various crust options that are vegan (including the Gf, which I prefer because it's crunchier) Vegan cheese Vegan chorizo Sauces are vegan as well, and of course they have several veggie toppings! My only complaint is that they skimp on the toppings if you order online for pickup (even if you put extra cheese in the special comments) or through DoorDash. Went here on a Friday at 9:15pm, the sign and website said they closed at midnight. Walked in and wasn't even greeted and almost all the chairs were stacked on the tables as if they were about to close. Ordered pizzas and the girl was rolling her eyes as we ordered. I also ordered the smores and cookie and asked for It to be heated up (as the sign said to do). The pizza was in the oven for no longer than 5 minutes, it was super doughy. I love cheese, but the amount of cheese on the pizza was disgusting. When I received my s'mores and cookie, the chocolate was not melted and everything was cold. Asked them to heat it up again and it was the exact same. Just the cookie was as hard as a brick. The service and quality was not it. I have been a loyal customer since this Blaze Pizza opened in Frisco, Texas many years ago. This has been one my favorite places to eat because of the variety of the toppings and unique fired oven. Your staff has always been wonderful and the "make your own pizza" policy the best. We want to thank them for all of their hard work. However, recently something has changed and not for the better. On our last visits, the floor has been filthy - cluttered with napkins, pieces of pizza and sticky grime. This is so sad because it would not take much to pick up the mess and mop the floor. We have seen this pattern in other established restaurants before customers stop going to them and they closed down. Please don't let this restaurant deteriorate. Please keep it clean and tidy. Eh, it was okay. I got a plain cheese pizza with a s'mores cookie that was heated in the oven, along with a Dr Pepper as my drink of choice. The pizza is very thin, 6 slices, but at least it's less filling than your normal pizza. Overall, it was good, but what I wish pizza establishments had was garlic butter like papa johns -- it enhances the pizza taste to a great extent. The s'mores cookie was a bit hard and needed to be softened, it was still good, though. I also thought that Blaze had its own developed drinks, but I guess this one didn't have them. I sat outside, and while you can't necessarily complain about it being dirty, since it's outside, it was dirty to an extent that they could've cleaned better and there was no trash can outside. Quite a few ants too in the area -- definitely an improvement consideration for this place. read more

Blaze is a really cool concept. Quick and delicious! I really like all of their different topping choices that they have to offer. They also have vegan and kept friendly options which is really cool, I mean, I'm not vegan but if I decided to be one day, I'll know where to go! Overall the customer service was fine. Nothing really jumped out at me, so everything was just average. The pizza was really delicious though! The cheese was my favorite part, they definitely did not skimp on the cheese. Make it make sense, how this Blaze is out of all product, is understaffed , and is still currently open tonight but deliberately locked the front door to all customers but the hours online say 11pm so technically still open, the customers just are locked out and the staff not even informing the customers coming to the door on what's going on, just ignoring them. Service is almost always very slow during peak times where sometimes a few employees behind the counter idly chat while the line gets longer and longer and orders get piled up.
