I really like this place. Its got a great neighborhood feel to it even tho it's a chain. In my opinion, Blaze pizza occupies the best location in the entire shopping strip ! I appreciate their outdoor patio and the awesome water fountain in front . It's literally a cool place to relax and enjoy a casual dinner during our hot summer evenings. The simple menu and ordering system is quick and stress free . Basically you pick your dough , any of the various sauces , cheese, toppings you want . They pop it in the oven and In a blaze it's ready for consumption . I love the fact it's one price for any amount of topping you want ! No nickel and diming here . They are generous with their toppings and no dirty looks when you ask for more of anything . The pizza pies are pretty bomb dot com ! And if it isn't ... We ordered 2 pizza's. One was skipped and mixed up with another persons. So, the line got messed up, everyone got confused, and they had to remake one of our pizzas. When they remade it they left off the Bell Peppers. My little one flipped and started throwing a tantrum for the order being messed up, he wanted his greens. So, I went back and asked the lady at the end if I could place an order for bell peppers, she told me to to ask the front of the line staff, which I did. They said I don't have to wait and I could just order it from the lady at the end, but she was the one who told me to come up front. So, I waited in the long AF line just to place an order of bell peppers (which they messed up in the first place). I just wanted my food at this point and my little one to eat, not in the mood of fighting with the kids, just want to have some peaceful food and go home (picking my battles). Luckily half way through, one of the workers was able to get me the bell peppers and let me get back to my family. I'm so glad I gave this Gold River location a chance to get it together. I had came here twice before and each time I had to have them remake my pizza due to being burnt badly on the bottom. Fast forward I stopped by blaze pizza again in a few week ago, I have to say I was quite impressed. The staff where all smiles and friendly and I went on to picking my toppings. I was I little worried that I would have burnt pizza, but to my surprise I wasn't and I was stoked. hi-ya! I feel like I've written a review for Blaze before, but apparently not. We got a 'bogo' deal that expired on Saturday so we 'had' to go. I'm not a huge fan of thin crust pizza...but we've been here several times in the past. I know I definitely wasn't feeling pizza for lunch that day (so I'm slightly biased), and I wasn't 'wowed' by any means by the pizza. In case you don't know how blaze works it's--thin crust, prepared and cooked (super fast) before your very eyes! The selection for toppings a-plenty and they're generous with what you want PLUS the employees are on point. Cons: it's just pizza and no serious wow factor =( Pros: they have a strawberry or some kind of berry lemonade that's super tart, but really good. Upon coming in, I had a great experience. The place is inviting, very well lit, and stuff are super friendly and attentive to you... "The Build Your Own Pizza" was phenomenal. The main chef, or should I say owner, gave a good piece of advice about the 5 step rule to making the best pizza: The Dough, The Sauce, 1 Choice of Meat (any kind), and 2 random flavors of choice. Great advice. Love the Lemonade that they had to offer, They offered 2 kinds that beats Chipotle. One just plain lemonade and the other Red Orange Lemonade. LOVED IT! This place could be so much more if management gave a shit. Employees always look stressed out or don't even care about the people coming to your store for a service that pays your check. I see it everywhere in the comments seems like if you ask for a little more of anything it is accompanied by a groan and just making you feel like a complete dick for getting what you want. I used to see a select few who were happy and smiling but they seem long gone. Nights are the worse, wanna wait 15 minutes and probably get skimped AND TONS OF ATTITUDE because you know it's our fault your manager schedules three people to work your dinner rush. Anytime I ask for Jaxson (supposedly the GM) he is never there espeacially at night. Love to see this team is supported and strives for success. (Sarcasm) read more

I'm very disappointed. Blaze Pizza had a promotion that if a $25 gift card was purchased,then a one gets a free11" pizza. I went in to use it & was told I absolutely couldn't order a large with & make up the difference. Okay. Then I was told that I couldn't use the gift certificate because I must first download their ap & scan the qr code. I asked what if someone can't download the ap. I do not want more aps, as following downloads of some apps, I get random calls from sales people & scammers. And there are some people who don't have cell phones, which I mentioned. Just looking for an inexpensive place for lunch and came upon this place. It's an assembly line style where you tell the servers what you'd like on your pie and what size you would like. Part of the new trend of create your own pizza, it's a little bit overwhelming at first but trust me you can do this! If you're like me, you really know what you love on a good pizza. They have it all. So you walk through the line and just tell them what to put on the pizza. They have many house suggestions which you can customize to your liking. The fun is watching them slide it into the oven and cook it in like 3 minutes over a fire. What a beautiful job the guy does who stands there and beautifully crafts your pizza by turning it once in awhile then bringing it out and shouting hot! After it's out of the oven, you have the option to top it with some fresh ingredients such as arugula or an olive oil drizzle Etc. Then you carry it to your table and off you go for a delicious sensory experience. The crust is thin so the toppings really stand out. This time I tried their new offering, the hot link, which was the bomb. Pro tip... ask them to put some garlic on the crust before adding toppings. The greatest pizza place in Roseville and Rancho Cordova ! You won't regret it! Fresh ingredients and you have the option to byo (build your own). Their cheesy bread is also delicious. I been eating here since they opened. I would recommend going to Roseville and Rancho Cordova. I always tell them to add more cheese because their cheese can be sparse unless you tell them to add more. Another thing that's helpful is to tell them to spread the toppings. Great place for a snack, or meal, but I believe that two pizzas would fill me up instead of just one. There could be things that could be better, like the employees---they seemed to have hated working there to have put on a fake smile or forcefully change their expression, which it was kind of awkward to see. For lunch, the place was pretty empty, which was great but I believe that eating your lunch wouldn't consume much time as it does take only '180' seconds to cook and it's practically finger food also. Menu was straight-forward and simple, it wasn't too complicated if you happen to have trouble interpreting large menus at restaurants. And my pizza was great, everything tasted fresh and worth the money that was paid for. Okay, you guys ... I tried Blaze, again, over the weekend, and I was mind-blown. Absolutely mind-blown! I always go to Pieology because it's closer to me but they don't have vegan cheese and lately, I've been trying to eliminate the last dairy item I eat (cheese!) I decided to treat myself to some pizza and immediately, thought of Blaze. But, I'll be honest, I was hesitant to try out their vegan cheese and started looking at Yelp reviews to see if there was anything negative said about it. I found nothing. So, I decided to dive head first and try it out. Here's my order: gluten-free crust, classic red sauce, vegan cheese, roasted garlic, red onions, chicken, cherry tomatoes, goat cheese (my stomach can tolerate it), and pesto drizzle to top it off. I was so hesitant to try it with the vegan cheese because I've heard that vegan cheese is just generally gross but it was absolutely to die for! I'm not sure if it's the goat cheese that balanced it out (I'll have to be brave and try it next time without the goat cheese) but it was absolutely the best pizza I had eaten in a looooong time. Since I got the gluten-free crust, the pizza came out (with tax) to $12.12, which isn't bad at all, considering you get unlimited toppings. They also don't charge extra for the vegan cheese, which is another plus. If you're in the mood for pizza, definitely try out Blaze. You won't be disappointed! You are a veggie lover and your spouse is a meat lover no problem you'll eat together happily with separate pizzas. You can order the make your own or a pre-designed pizza from the menu board. Making your own is really addictive because it can be whatever you personally like together. They have several sauces, numerous veggie toppings, different kinds of cheese , and a variety of meats. Add basil, salt, oregano, or whatever suits you. Now they may only put a wee bit of pepperoni so ask them for more. Ask for more of any topping as they are not mind readers. Want a sprinkle of blue cheese or a layer of mozzarella no problem. Get specific like pineapple in the middle or five pieces of sausage total. They put your name and a number on your pizza to ensure you get yours. Try their blood orange lemonade in the no straw needed cups to wash down your creation. Over past three days my son and I visited three local pizza places within the 95670 zip code: Blaze, Pieology, and Mod Pizza. We rated each on taste, customer service, and quality re prices. Although all three were very comparable in regard to pricing blaze ironically was the most expensive yet rated the worst in each category especially taste and customer service. In fact Blaze Pizza had the WORST customer service I've ever experienced(rude and disrespectful despite our attempts to be friendly). Blaze was extremely skimpy on ingredients of all three and actually burned my pizza to a crisp( see photo). Pieology and Mod were very equivalent regarding customer service in that both had exceptional customer service. Both Pieology and Mod were generous with the toppings-perfect amount actually, not too much but not skimpy. You really can't go wrong with visiting either of these places the only significant difference was that gluten-free crust at Pieology was just a little bit softer but other than that Pieology and MOD both get A+ and stay away from Blaze!!! read more

PIEOLOGY DOESN'T EVEN COMPARE. Anyone who thinks it does is dumb. I just discovered the double crust here. Oh my goodness gracious! It took my Blaze experience to a whole new level!!! The ingredients are so quality too, the thicker crust made my pizza incredible. My favorite part is that you can literally have any topping. If you pay for the make-your-own pizza, you can do whatever your heart desires with the crust. My favorite part of the toppings is the cheeses. I love to put meats and roasted garlic on my pizza, but the cheeses they have make it so good! I always put on dollops of fresh mozzarella, feta, goat cheese, gorgonzola and parmesan! I always seem to be helped by Sarah when I go to Blaze. She's got some of the best customer service I've ever seen! She's knowledgable about all the ingredients. I remember her because once I came in to order for my sister (a vegetarian) and myself. I was saying that I didn't know what to get for my sister because she didn't eat meat and she helped me design her a delicious pizza with some of the vegetarian options that Blaze offers. She always helps me with a smile and I always admire how well she seems to treat all of her customers. Customer service really goes a long way with me, as it does for many other people, and Sarah does an AMAZING job with this. The few times I've come in and been helped by Sarah, my experience has been nothing less than extremely pleasant!
