Very nice location, do not always have the best experience but today really impressed me. There was a girl, I really wished I knew her name, but she offered to switch gloves for me because I ordered the vegan chicken. Super sweet of her to do so and for her to offer. I had some modifications and shared that Grabby doesn't have teeth so to undercook the pizza a little. Placed Friday night dinner order online after long day at Blaze La Verne. Received confirmation email with order number and a time to arrive. Arrived at store but order wasn't made; it hadn't even been started. As I waited, I was called and told the store was out of pesto sauce (I ordered two pesto pizzas). After brief conversations with Blaze La Verne employees, learned no one at the store new how to make more of the sauce. Because I had prepaid through the Blaze Pizza website (which BTW wasn't working), I requested a refund. Was told by Blaze La Verne employee they weren't authorized to issue refunds. I would need to wait for manager. When I asked what time s/he would be in next, I was told he would be in Sunday. Store was relatively empty for a Friday night. Blaze Pizza La Verne makes reasonably tasty pizza but their customer service and their website leave a lot to be desired. I love Blaze pizza. Hate the way this location is being managed...or rather not managed. Every time I come, even during off peak hours, they take FOREVER to assemble a pizza. My family and I where driving through California over the weekend and my family and I decided to do a pit stop at Blaze Pizza. There was only two employees and there was quit a line. My husband and I usually understand but when the lady took our order she was pretty rude and seemed to be over her job. The man working on cooking our pizzas didn't ask if we wanted any finishes and was rude when my husband asked for ranch. Next time we will stick to just going to blaze back in our hometown in Texas since clearly at least in this location no one knows anything about good customer service. Our family comes to this location often and have always had a positive experience. The employees are all friendly and welcoming. Their lines tend to move fast and I am always happy with how my pizza turns out. Their drink machines are always filled and the tables are always clean. I have been to the Blaze locations at Brookfield, WI, San Dimas, Pasadena, Claremont, and Last and Least La Verne. This is a relatively new location and I guess the crew manages itself kinda like Bill Murray in Stripes. If I had gone to the La Verne location first I would not have gone back to Blaze again. The La Verne location is slow. The food is good like the other Blaze locations. I have been here 3 times and it always seems like there is half a crew with slow uninspired service. Today there were 5 people in front of us at 12:15PM, and they had 4 phone orders called in while we were there and they did them before us. It took over half hour to get to our order. Then one of the fruit drinks was empty, there were only 5 chili shakers, 1 with oregano, and no parmesan cheese. There were 3-4 Sriracha bottles and 4 Tabasco bottles all almost empty. I have been to the San Dimas location when it just opened up and it had more people behind the counter a they were new and slow. I don't know if it is better now. I have been to the Claremont, Pasadena and Brookfield, WI locations several times and all are well run. I noticed this location did not have very many people come in for being lunch time. Maybe word is out about this poorly managed location. 10-13-18 I note other reviews before and after my posting and notice a common complaint about slow service and poor management. I did get a response to my posting saying something about pride in service. Come On Guys get it together. Go to Claremont and check it out. Have more people, train them, treat them well or whatever it takes. Blaze is a great product, don't screw it up!! Talk about an anomaly. Every blaze I've been to is packed and full of people and this one is empty, and for good reason....talk about terrible service. Took us 30 minutes to get our pizzas and no one was in line ahead of us! Upon entering, I was welcomed and acknowledged. The pizza preparer was very friendly and asked if I had any questions. It's been awhile that I've been to a pizza place, where they can customized your toppings on your personal pizza. I went ahead and ordered a Barbecue Chicken Pizza. My order came with: grilled chicken, mozzarella, red onion, gorgonzola, bbq sauce drizzle. I added additional toppings: green bell peppers, roasted red peppers, more red onions, pineapples & a pinch of sea salt. Upon receiving my order, my pizza tasted fresh and delicious. My overall experience was Great and the customer service was awesome. In my personal opinion, the prices for the pizzas are very reasonable. I will definitely return and would like to try other pizzas on their menu. I would recommend Blaze Pizza for anyone that would like to have some Pizza. read more

THEY ARE FINALLY OPEN. I'm not trying to oversell this location but this is probably the best Blaze Pizza I've ever been to. The staff was so on top of everything despite the heavy crowd. They weren't sparring on their topping distribution like other locations are but also didn't give you too much. My pizza came out SO fast, and it was cooked perfectly. There wasn't any weird uncooked spots like other locations I've been to. What I thought was super rad on this location was that it also had an outdoor/second room. I've never seen this before with Blaze and was really impressed. This room would be great if you had a larger group with you. But inside there was a game which again I've never seen at any other Blaze location before. They had a good beer selection that went along with their great staff.
