It's that time of year again. The Godkids want gift cards from Blaze. I attempted to speak to a Supervisor. None available. Showed the cashier the message trail. The cashier was surprised I had waited so long to come back. I had no desire to patronize this business but the Godkids asked for gift cards. I tried buying gift cards, no go. Their system was down. They said someone would get back to me, but did not bother to take my contact info... that was two weeks ago and no response whatsoever. Guess gonna just buy the Godkids a visa gift card so they can go anywhere else. read more

I can't speak for others, only myself. I enjoy the taste of the pizza, but within 4-6 hours of eating it, I have a "blazing" problem in the bathroom. This has happened on all three visits I've had. I don't know if I'm just sensitive to something they use in the preparation or not. read more

My daughter chose this spot for lunch and I owe her big time because it was delicious. The place is very clean. It is pretty easy to order and you can see all the ingredients so choosing is very easy. They are open to omitting ingredients and substituting others. The crust was crispy and chewy and in perfect balance. I ordered the pizza with roasted garlic and artichokes-so delicious. The prices re not crazy and the pizzas are definitely big enough to split. I would return in a heartbeat but happy to her that they are in IL and I will be visiting them soon! read more

So I came to this blaze pizza because I'm on vacation in the area and my family and I needed to grab dinner. I used to live in Boston and the only other blaze pizza I've had was from their Fenway location, which was amazing. One of the great things about blaze is that you build your own pizza and they have gluten free pizza (glove change is always prompted), and vegan cheese (daiya, the good stuff). I ordered three pizzas and the staff were accommodating of the glove change and gluten free crust. I like how my pizza was put together, and when I arrived back at my hotel room 3-5 minutes later to eat it it was undercooked. I had gluten free crust and I know that it can take longer to cook, but they did not leave it in the oven long enough. It was near raw towards the middle so please remember for next time they need to leave the pie in the oven longer. I got one regular crust pizza, and that one was satisfying (according to my dad). The crust wasn't as thin as pizzarev, but I'm only on vacation so I won't be returning to this location. I was disappointed in the raw crust and for me that ruined my pizza experience. read more

Wow fast, delicious pizza, my way and at a fair price. This place is genius. It's like an upscale fast food pizza place. I was able to choose all my ingredients. The ingredients were fresh including the crust. Even though it was fast the crust was cooked perfectly. They have a menu that has preselected topping you can order from. They even have vegan cheese! I couldn't believe all of choices they had for drinks. It was so nice to have a variety of non-sodas to choose from. The restaurant was clean and we had excellent customer service from the start to finish. The next time we're back in the area we'll definitely stop here. read more

I really hope that Haley is let go soon. I remember her name because I saw how awful she treated a new worker. It seemed like she was purposely not trying to train the new girl, then got mad at her when she needed help with an order. I can deal with wrong orders way better than I can deal with rude people. Not good this time around. Counters where food is kept was dirty. The Glass separating the customers from the food was dirty. Salad was empty. I was going to order a salad but it was empty. Customer service wasn't as friendly. Doubt there was a manager in duty because the place didn't look clean. It was 3pm when we came in. read more

We were super interested in trying Blaze Pizza. Many of our friends and acquaintances said the place was awesome and epic, and would change the way we looked at pizza. That's a lot to live up to! So, we ordered 3 of their pies, with only added cheese as a modifier. Having been a long day, we were looking forward to sitting down at home with tasty pizza and a good movie. The movie was awesome (Fantastic beasts and where to find them), but the pizza... We'll, it was not at all tasty. All 3 pies were undercooked on top, with lukewarm spots. And two were completely carbonized on the bottom. Burnt black and flakey. Inedible. I called the store and spoke with the shift manager, Ray. Ray was sincerely apologetic, and asked us to stop in next day and speak with the store manager. The store manager was not in, but the shift manager (and I am very sorry to say I do not remember her name, Bria? I think?) listened to my tale of woe. I offered that if she could either refund us, or supply some coupons for free pizza, we would try again. After all, that can't be the normal output, people love this place! But, she did not do that. Instead, she did both! Refunded, and coupons in hand, we left, ready to try again another day. A few days later, we did. And this was MUCH better! Well cooked, tasty ingredients, and well prepared. It did not change the way I look at pizza, but these are darn good pies! And the staff clearly shows a dedication to making sure the customers are happy. All in all, I completely recommend Blaze Pizza! UPDATE: We have been back to Blaze since then, and I have to say the pizza has been excellent, the staff awesome, and the prices really good. What happened to this place? It used to be super yummy. None of the employees were in a good mood. Saddest bunch of people in food service Ive ever seen. The girl doling out the toppings was being so frugal you'd think she was rationing. Takes too long to order and wait. Weekends are terrible both online and in person. They don't have a separate kitchen for online orders so they just cram everything in their tiny oven which makes the people waiting in line not move because of the online orders. If your buying more than 2 pizzas buy somewhere else cause your making yourself and the other customers wait till kingdom come. read more

It's pizza Chipotle, basically. The food is ok. I can't have dairy, so I like that I can make a pizza without cheese without any hassle. The smores cookie thing is pretty good and their lemonade game is on point. As a side note, probably because of the open oven, the AC always seems to be on high, so sitting in the booths against the wall is freezing... bring a sweater. They give boxes if you don't finish but otherwise you eat off of your pizza tray. read more

So I sent my boyfriend over to get me some pizza because I was really craving some good cheesy pizza! He comes back home with what looks a pathetic kind of pizza. Hardly any cheese on the pizza, like 4 little slices of mushroom, and a couple pepperonis. On top of that, when someone ask for an extra five minutes in the oven don't question it just do it. It's your job to provide excellent customer service. Wow- they gave me pizza that someone else took home then returned because it was the wrong one! I ordered two pizzas last night. We got one right away but the second one was taking a lot more time (15-20 minutes had passed). The staff at that station was overwhelmed by their work, poorly organized, and confused my their mixup. Finally, a man named Chad came back with a box to say he was give the wrong pizza and got all the way home before realizing it. Blaze staff took the pizza out of his box, slid it onto a plate, and gave it to me to eat. I'm pretty sure this is against health codes! I've worked in fast food and i know what's it's like to be busy and you can't always get to the customer right away but the whole staff and especially Jesús were exceptionally friendly and apologetic for a small wait. On top of that, Jesús hooked me up with a free drink as compensation for the wait. All in all, the pizza was great as always and the customer service couldn't have been better. read more

5 Stars if they could get my online orders right. I've ordered twice online. First time I was missing 2 of the meats that I had wanted which pretty much left me with a vegetarian pizza. Line was pretty long and I wanted to pick up this pizza on my way to work so I didn't bother checking it which I should have but I wouldn't have been able to wait for a new one. Second time I got someone else's pizza and I didn't realize it since my kids ordered it but the box had my info, luckily the kids realized it while I was still in the parking lot and they were able to give us the right one. That's my only complaint and I most likely won't order online again. My dine in experiences have been great. Great selection of ingredients as well as drinks. Real friendly staff and clean environment. Will definitely come back and most of the people I've sent have had great experiences and loved their pizzas. read more

I love this place. Seriously, the easiest place to go an grab a quick bite and its not the typical fast food or irregular Chipotle run. Blaze is always consistent, fresh, and fast. I first tried BP at Northridge mall when they opened and I was so excited to hear of one closer to the central coast opening up. I cant count how many time I've been to this location - and I have got so many people hooked on it too. The customer service is always great at this location, but I wanted to especially point out Erin, Candy, and Eric. I see these three in there often and they are by far the friendliest and most caring employees. If they hated their job, I wouldn't be able to tell! I watched Erin deal with a more difficult customer while I was waiting for my pizza one day and she handled the stressful situation so well - she is definitely someone I would love to have working at my place of business. For the price and the quality of BP, you can't beat it anywhere on the central coast. The slowest place in the world. We stood in line with just four people in front of us and four people in the dining room so basically a slow time of day and the line never moved we just left after twenty minutes. The general concept is good and the pizza is good and generally reasonably priced. It can take forever to get through the line when you get stuck behind someone who's indecisive or overly excited about the customizations and options, but the online ordering works well. My issue with this place is the nonstick mats that they sometimes cook the pizza on. Sometimes they are super worn and make the pizza taste... not unlike burnt plastic. I think they're silicone but they're dyed red and the pizza oven may be too hot for them. I'm not sure about the reason but I am sure that the pizza tastes really burnt when it's not actually burnt sometimes and I'm hesitant to try this place again until they find a better nonstick solution. read more

Terrible experience. This place prefers to help those that place online orders over those standing right in front of them and the employees didn't seem to want to get to us in any hurry. My pregnant wife, 2 year old, and I stood in line for over 20 minutes while we watched them complete online order after online order. We were standing right in front of them and they didn't even acknowledge our presence. My son was visibly upset because were standing right there and even he could see they were making pizzas but he was like which one is mine? But they didn't care one bit. I can't return to a place like this with my family and have them treated this way. Warning to those walking in trying to have a good customer service experience.
