So glad they have North Beach Pizza in my neighborhood. They serve the full menu with their pastas, sandwiches, entrees like my favorite Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Marsala. Who would have thought this place makes pretty decent Italian specialties. I like coming in here to get a slice or pizza. Their Cheese Pizza is the bomb. The Pepperoni pizza is good as well. It's served nice and hot as you order. Their hand-spun dough and tomato sauce makes this one delicious pizza place! Don't come here expecting to dine with your family. It takes a lot for me to be disappointed by pizza but this was one of them. The pizza dough was so chewy, definitely undercooked. We were able to salvage these by putting them in our freezer and then reheating it on our toaster which ultimately cooked the dough through. The toppings didn't really stick to the pizza either. read more

North Beach Pizza in Parkside is a great option for a quality pizza, and if picking up at night the parking gets easier. As for my order the Salad was fresh and in true Italian style I dressed it with Oil, Vinegar, Salt & Pepper, it was very satisfying. Regarding the Pizza the crust was spot on with that texture and flavor hard to replicate outside of a pizza oven, as for the topping they were generous. This is the real deal with the fluffiest fresh dough I have ever tasted on the West coast, and the pizza slices are gigantic and very well priced - California lovin'! We love supporting this local, family pizza shop. This recent order truly made this worthwhile. We were polite in asking if people already there were in line or not. They weren't, so were proceeded to scooter over to the register and placed our order. The person taking our order (I think who is the manager or owner) was also very nice despite our order for two slices late in the evening. That good interaction and especially the awesome pizza bring me back time and time again. I also then recommend that people try this particular North Beach pizza location as it is accessible by scooter too! That is an actual recommendation due the parking situation, and it is not too far away from the library! All in a day's walk. read more

I love their pasta! I usually get the chicken fettuccine with pesto sauce and sun dried tomatoes. The only thing is, it's not on their menu. You would have to request it and when they do make it, you wont be disappointed. It tastes authentic, just like home made. read more

We were looking for a quick bite and found one. This little gem is smack dab in between two restaurants. They serve by the slice and a regular menu. Let me tell you these slices are HUGE. We got slices, cheese bread, and sodas. Definitely did not need the cheese bread due to huge slices. The flavor was good and service was fast. Staff was super friendly. I'm trying to be less of a complainer, but this is more so a PSA. Guess they don't care, or at least one of the workers doesn't care about doing his part with the whole pandemic. I should've made my husband check the recent Yelp reviews before he had ordered a Cable Car pizza here last month. There was one employee who was making the pizzas who had his mask down to his chin. He was rolling some dough when I walked in to pick up our pizza. The cashier had his mask on properly, and so did another employee who was to the side of the kitchen. Luckily, I was only in the shop for about 30 seconds to pick up my pizza, but to make matters worse they don't have any plexiglass either, so chin guard mask guy was not too far from the cashier. I hope no one gets sick from here, and I hope they can get their act together. Before last month, I haven't had North Beach from here in a few years. Service is hella bad. Literally just walked in to ask if they have any veggie pizza ready to go because I had to grab a quick bite before work. They only had pepperoni and cheese ready (wasn't feeling the look of both) so I decided to go somewhere else that would fit my time crunch. You can't go wrong with the slices! I like the cheese only slice because I can taste the sauce and quality cheese $4. My husband likes the combo slice $7 and there's a s**t load of fresh veggies and sausage pellets! I used to live in Daly City so I got my slices after work. Now that I don't live here I miss North Beach Pizza and whenever I'm in town I make a special trip to grab a slice and park at Ocean Beach. read more

As with what most other Yelpers probably said, you're going to get an adequate pie here. The ingredients won't be abundant (see pic), and the crust will be a little too soft. You're also going to end up paying $20 for a small pie, which will be half the size of a $10 Costco pizza, which will ultimately taste better. But, service will be quick and expedient, and it's next to a bar. Could be worse, I guess? read more

The mild buffalo wings came less than cooked no sauce. They said that's how they do it. They "send" sauce with it for you to do it. If I'm ordering I don't really want to finish the job. Sauce definitely not included in ours. However they were "willing" to send sauce with the new pizza that was coming. Here is the picture of what it's supposed to look like. I've been coming to this spot for years. Especially since it's a few blocks away. But I just ordered a pizza and watched the cook cross contaminate. The cook not only handled my pizza but also handled the dough and rubber mat on the floor and dropped something on the sidewalk and not once did he wash his hands or use gloves nor did he change his apron. In addition to a margherita with sausage added (highly recommended!), we got a chicken parm dinner. The dinner was great and comes with vegetables and spaghetti. Choice of minestrone or salad, chose the salad which was super fresh and bountiful. Price seemed very reasonable for what we got, the dinner was more than enough for 2 people to share. NB Pizza has been a staple in SF for many years! From its Italian North Beach roots, they've expanded and mostly kept their pies consistent. That is a good thing. No, a great thing! DO NOT EAT HERE THEY DON'T WEAR MASKS I never ever give negative reviews (you can check my profile) but I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Went in into this location on 1/14/21 at around 1pm to order a to-go pizza for lunch. The man standing at the front had his mask down and quickly pulled it up when we (my partner and I) started talking to him. We gave him the benefit of the doubt (maybe he was just on break? Eating lunch himself? Drinking water? Idk) and placed our order. He said it would take 15 minutes and we should come back to pay and get our food. We came back 15 minutes later and the same man was again not wearing his mask. Another patron was sitting in the waiting area on the phone with his mask off. My partner and I waited outside and watched as the man who helped us talked with another worker and touched multiple pizzas/food. I couldn't tell if the other worker was wearing their mask because their back was turned but either way, at least this one man was not wearing a mask and neither of them were enforcing covid safety protocols with their patrons. We ended up leaving without getting our pizza because this worker continued to have his mask off while going back and forth between the front of house and back. The reason we are in a pandemic and in a lockdown is because people like this aren't taking things seriously. If you're preparing food for others you should be extra cautious even in normal times (I mean most restaurants require workers to have food handling permits where you take a course on food safety) so the fact that this happened multiple times within a 15 minute window is just appalling. TLDR: Stay safe and get your pizza somewhere else. read more

Pizza was solid and on point in terms of taste. We ordered the Aloha (Hawaiian) pizza and I liked the pizza part with all the ingredients on it. The pizza wasn't too salty like some Hawaiian pizzas. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the big crust at the edges which was flavorless. If the ingredients were laid out all the way to the edges so there isn't so much plain dough at the ends, the pizza would have been great. 3.5 stars as is. Overall, I still liked it.
