I especially like the build-your-own factor to it, so you can load it with whatever you want. We usually like adding a bunch of vegetables and meat, so its worth the ~$13 you're paying; it's also tastier! The mozzarella cheese globs are also a good choice on top of regular shredded cheese. We usually get the basic tomato sauce for the base and drizzle pesto on top at the end. At a glance, it's not too different from your lineup of assembly line pizza. I'm not too sure what I like about the dough, though, but I like it. This is coming from a guy that finds flaws in everything. Other crusts include high-rise, keto, cauli, and gluten free if you'd like. For the toppings, there's no issue with variety. Skip the red and white sauces. Garlic pesto and ovalini. Thank me later. The staff is usually cool enough to squeeze a decent tip out of me and the colors in the restaurant make me feel warm. It was an interesting experience coming back for the first time since the pandemic. I can't say it was a pleasant one, unfortunately. I have always been a fan of Blaze Pizza, but I can see how much this location has declined since they opened in 2015. I came here to pick up something for dinner around 8pm. the place had a few patrons dining inside and no one in line except for a customer already paying at the register. As I waited for someone to take my order, I was eventually greeted by a young lady who did not look like she wanted to be there. I ordered a build your own with original dough, nothing fancy. However, for some reason it took about 3 employees to make the crust on the machine press because the dough kept ripping. I also noticed that most of the employees were just milling around and texting on their phones with gloves on (then preceded to touch the food on the line). some were even sitting on the counter chatting with their coworkers. Did they even have a supervisor or manager on duty? were they hiding in the office in the back? As I was paying at the register, I noticed that they did not serve alcoholic beverages anymore. I expressed my surprise since this was my first time back in-person since the shutdown. One of the employees commented, "yeah it's probably not a good idea to serve alcohol with a bunch of underaged kids working here". MAM, when I tell you that MY JAW DROPPED! Maybe I will stick with ordering my pizza on the app. I really like Blaze Pizza, but they need to review the improper handling of food by their employees and possibly staffing a supervisor on the floor at all times. read more

The crust doesn't have much flavor and I guess it was my fault that I chose toppings that made the crust soggy. Wish I would have asked them to cook it longer. I recently had a horrible experience at Blaze Pizza, and I can confidently say I will never be coming back. Today, I took my son for a treat, and he chose pizza, as we had visited this location a few weeks ago without any issues. However, today, during the rush hour at 5:45 PM, it was a complete disaster. We waited in line for a bit, and while there were only a few orders ahead of us, the staff seemed completely untrained and disorganized. The girl who took our order started with my son's cheese pizza, but then she kept going back and forth, working on other orders. My son's pizza was finally put in the oven, but I was left waiting for someone else to finish making mine. After a few minutes, a different staff member finally completed my pizza. We also ordered an apple juice and Pellegrino to enjoy while dining in. We sat down, and my son received his pizza within a reasonable time, but it took so long for mine that by the time my son had finished his entire pizza, I still hadn't received mine. Frustrated, I went up to ask where my pizza was, and the staff member asked if I had a receipt. I showed him the receipt, and he casually responded that they had lost my order. He offered to remake it, which would take another 10 minutes, or I could get a refund. At this point, I was both hungry and angry, so I asked for a refund. The situation only got worse. The girl at the register had to call the manager, who wasn't even present, to process the refund, which I found rude and unnecessary to handle in front of me. She then offered me a gift card, but I declined because I had no intention of returning. After some confusion, she ended up refunding my entire order and then charged me again for just my son's pizza, apple juice, and Pellegrino. To make matters worse, I observed several things that raised health and safety concerns. Despite a ServSafe certificate hanging on the wall, none of the staff washed their hands between tasks, even when they changed gloves. They wore the same gloves for multiple tasks, which is a major food safety violation. Overall, this was a completely disappointing experience. As someone with over 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry, I know how important communication and proper food handling are. This location lacked both. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will certainly not be returning. read more

The guy taking my order had great customer service to which I really appreciated. I noticed though that it was very hot in line and felt like there was no AC so I felt for the workers who are next to the fire oven. As I was eating my pizza I noticed handymen coming to do some work then pounding a door to open it, as the door opened an employee was passed out on the bathroom floor. It was scary to witness this I think the employee was locked in there for 20 minutes. They brought her water right away and helped walk her out to their employee room. I called 911 but her boss said she didn't need it that she was ok with water and a break per her request. I feel bad for unsafe or pressured conditions they are working in. I hope Blaze Pizza company improves their employees work safety and etc etc. The place runs because of the employees, they should be treated with high regard. read more

I literally don't leave reviews ever... but this blaze location has given me two terrible experiences in a row. Which is super unfortunate because I do really like Blaze's Pizza's. I ordered delivery and they forgot to put on any meat toppings on my pizza. How do you forget to put the most important topping? A couple weeks later, they forgot the ENTIRE PIZZA from my order. Forgetting the meat is one thing, but they literally didn't deliver the pizza from my order, and only brought the cinnamon bread. I tried contacting the store both of these times and nobody ever answered the phone. I called many times over the course of the evening, and both times and nobody answered. I submitted a ticket online and they haven't gotten back to me in two weeks about missing the toppings from the previous order and I just submitted another one yesterday about missing the entire pizza from my order. It's just seriously ridiculous.... There is no way to get in contact with anyone or get a refund or a reorder. I would highly recommend avoiding ordering delivery at this location. I have not been in person so I cannot speak to the experience at the store, but ordering delivery from here is a nightmare. I usually don't have high expectations for Pizza chains like Blaze Pizza, but this location is flat out bad. From the inefficiency to poor customer service, I don't think I'd come back to the Stonestown location again personally. My family ordered one order of Cheesy Bread, but the cashier made a mistake and added the Pesto Garlic Cheesy Bread which meant an extra $5.95. Overall they seemed very disorganized. The biggest issue is that the order of two cheesy garlic breads, a Meat Eater pizza, and a salad took an hour long wait which is incredibly long in comparison to most pizza places. Then on top of that the customer service was rude and the staff member would state in a rude and impatient tone that we need to just wait for our number to be called even though many customers that ordered after us got their orders. Then shockingly it turns out that they completely forgot about the pizza and the salad and had to start making it even though it has already been over half an hour. They even got numerous customer's orders wrong. Yikes. Of course your food becomes more unenjoyable when you dealt with bad customer service, but both cheesy breads were sad and flavorless while also being greasy. The Meat Eater Pizza had the thinnest crust and I am not a huge fan of their tomato sauce. The salad was decent, but nothing special. There are definitely better pizza options out there and I'd rather support local pizza chains instead personally. I think I'm gonna stay away from Blaze Pizza in the future because this experience was not great overall. read more

They cook your pizza directly on top of a receipt to help identify your order. As you know receipt ink is loaded full of BPA. Go look at everyone's pizza and see for yourself. All 3 of our pizzas were baked on top of receipts, so we didn't eat anywhere near those parts. Feel sorry for everyone else in the restaurant, because I doubt they understood the severity of the problem. Studies have found that individual thermal receipts can contain BPA that is 250 to 1,000 times greater than the amount in a can of food. BlazePizza, did not deliver and shows to use DoorDash for the delivery. I contacted BlazePizza, in the app and have not been contacted yet. The pizza that I got is good, their customer service is bad, my advice don't use their delivery, I was charged $7.50 for delivery fee plus $4.99 for the cinnamon bread for things that I never got. Sunday night around 6pm (Jun 2nd) I tried to order a BBQ chicken as I usually do. This time this young black lady (pictured below) just ignored me and passed me to attend to a person behind me. She lied to the order taker and to me afterwards claiming the pizza was already made when obviously it wasn't. I walked to the register confused and then realized the order sheet was taken to cashier without her or anyone else bothering to assemble it. I was expected to pay for a pizza that didn't yet exist. This place is always busy! It does offer the best "build your own" pizza experience with a very wide variety of ingredients and options. Starting with the crust, they have original thin, thicker high rise, gluten free, cauliflower, and keto. The cauliflower and keto are also both GF. There are a lot of sauce options -- I'm a classic red girl so I always stick to that. One of my favorite things about Blaze is the cheese options. I so prefer the fresh mozzarella and ricotta -- so delicious! It's also a nice change. I'm not a vegetarian but with their veggie options, I often create a vegetarian pizza.
