Why is the Cherry Coke colorless ?

It seems like lots of things changed since 2016 in SF. The Superbowl was being played at Levi's Stadium in 2016 and the concerts were free at the Embarcadero in San Francisco with free concerts at Super Bowl City with Alicia Keys and One Republic . In 2026 the last tenants at the food court ( Panda Express)at the Westfield Mall in downtown San Francisco are leaving the building. The only remaining food court at a mall in SF is Stonestown. Ten years ago the Stonestown Galleria Mall in 2016 had no movie theater inside , no escape room, no bowling alley ,and no Target . I believe what restarted what is Stonestown Mall today is when Blaze Pizza opened over 10 years ago. Customization is why people like coming here. I am able customize my pizza individually to the way I can customize my burrito at a Mission District Taqueria or at a Poke place with different types of seafood and sauces. Yes, Blaze is a fast casual pizza chain but it's way better tasting than Pizza Butt( I mean Pizza Hut). They had lots of toppings to put on a pizza and different sauces at your request. I had order one of my favorite pizzas combinations which is mushroom and extra cheese. It was kind of cheesy like some in SF and the crust had a chard . It was a bit saucy and the mushroom gave it some flavor. Overall a good pizza for a chainstore. The pizza was cheesy in 2016 and a bit more cheesier in 2026. I first came here in 2016 back in the "days "at place where you can have a pizza made a hundred different"ways" it's located by the main entrance of Stonestown Galleria and it's called "Blaze" Stonestown changed in 10 years is a different mall in 2026 it now has an escape room experience on another level inside on the "mezzanine" and a movie theater where movies can be "seen" it's changed since the year "2016"

Last Sunday we had a very large group of 9 year old girls coming from a birthday party gathering inside the mall and we ended up at Blaze Pizza for lunch. Christine and her crew did a fantastic job getting out 14 large pizzas! They did a great job communicating and the most important aspect was the pizza was delicious! Recommend and will be back!

I chose to build my own pizza and added a healthy amount of cheese, which I really enjoyed. I do wish they had added a little more sauce, though, as I personally prefer my pizza with a bit more of it. Unfortunately, the bottom of the crust was burnt, which affected the overall texture of the pizza.

blaze pizza is delicious! it's super value if you snag one of their deals -- we got the buy one get one $3.14 for pi day. the staff were busy but still remained friendly and calm! the crust is thin and yummy, you get unlimited toppings, and I'd highly recommend that basalmic glaze!

TGIF!!! Super busy on Friday around 6.30pm. Online orders were being processed too, so the wait was about 30 mins, from lining up to getting the food. We were originally going to order 2 pizzas until we saw the Blazin Deal 5 for $45. A deal we could not resist. Staff were efficient with our customized pizzas. The 2 sides and 3 pizzas was more than enough to feed 4. The pizzas were simply delicious with all the toppings we love and fresh out of the fire oven.

Best pizza ever The only problem was that they stopped and the student discounts but other then that it the best everything there is the best including the cheesy bread, the salad, and everything else I'm updating my mom's review The service was great too!!!

I'm not the biggest pizza fan, I don't crave it too often which is fine because pizza these days is so expensive! Pizza used to be an affordable meal that fed the whole family, but the price of cheese is way higher these days. Plus, as a vegan, most pizza places don't have vegan cheese yet so I have to order sans cheese but still pay the same price for it. Luckily, Blaze Pizza solves both problems. It's an affordable pizza spot that has vegan cheese...they don't even charge more for it! NICE. I remember when it used to be $11 for the unlimited toppings pizza, it's around $15 now, but it's still a good deal since you get to choose as many toppings as you want. Really - they let you load her up! In addition to vegan cheese, they also offer vegan spicy soyrizo as a great plant-based protein option. The regular crust & marinara is vegan so this is absolutely a vegan-friendly joint. You can even order the cheesy bread with vegan cheese! If you sign up for their rewards club you can earn points towards free food. The line here can get long, you can always order ahead on the app instead.

One of Stonestown's quick meal spots, my pizza-lovin' daughter likes to stop here for a quick pepperoni pizza lunch. Get in line, order your crust, cheese, toppings and sauce, then wait for your name to be called after you pay. Spacious indoor and outdoor seatings available.

Hey, I came over here and got me a special pizza for me and my coworkers. I got a classic dough spicy red sauce with fresh mozzarella and Parmesan double cheese and check out what I got. This is ridiculous eating straight dough pizza

I dont gear towards pizza when I'm hungry..... but this place might change my mind! I did a custom pizza with gluten free dough. The dough was not bad and I'm trying to watch my gluten this year. These are the toppings I remember I got: tomatoes, italian sausage, pepperoni, arugala, whole garlic cloves, bell peppers, etc. I'm not sure if there were mushrooms available but if there were - I WOULD GET THEM!!! I also got it with classic red sauce and some pesto. So yummy. As for the drizzle on top of the pizza, I only got balsamic vinegar and spinkled peppers and parmasean cheese on top of course. I don't like how the receipt is right under the pizza when cooked in the oven. If I read that person's review before coming here, I would have completely avoided Blaze Pizza. However it was too late and I was hungry!! Corporate def need to change this issue. Besides this, I like how there are already to-go boxes on the back racks. No bags - need to ask an employee.

We arrived around 12:30 pm, and there was already a line with only a few tables left. Since it was our first time here, we had some questions about the menu, which didn't provide much detail. We asked the cashier how many slices came in a large and regular pizza, but she didn't know and had to check with her manager. Then we asked about the "take two" option on the menu, and again, she didn't know and had to ask her manager. When we told her we wanted a half-and-half pizza with signature toppings, she misunderstood and thought we wanted two separate pizzas. There was a lot of back-and-forth because she couldn't grasp what we were trying to say. Eventually, we were passed to the person prepping our pizza. She didn't ask what we wanted and just started making a basic pizza with tomato sauce and mozzarella. We had to correct her, explaining that we ordered half spicy pepperoni and half blazed BBQ. She had to start over, but she got it right in the end. After ordering, we waited about 8 minutes for our food. We got a regular pizza (half spicy pepperoni, half blazed BBQ) and the pesto garlic bread. The food was good overall, but the pesto garlic bread could've used more garlic. I'm giving this place 3 stars because of the lack of knowledge from the first worker and the confusing menu, which doesn't include prices (see photo). You only find out how much the pizzas cost at checkout. While the food was decent, the overall experience left room for improvement.

i love the aesthetic at this Blaze Pizza. the inside and outdoor view are amazing, neat and spacious. you will find plenty parking inside this plaza, and even less busy later at night. i ordered takeout pizza, with the boys wanting a healthier option, with garlic and basil added on da pizza. service is good, with a nice staff who were attentive to my takeout! veggie pizza (7.4/10) although a non-protein pizza isnt my go-to, this large pizza topped with basil and garlic was okay. my friends enjoyed it much more

I've been to Tony's a few times, and the first two times, my hub and I have left raving about it and telling all our friends and fam to get to Tony's. If any menu item says Grandma in it.... you can be sure it's an incredible pizza. They're extremely accommodating and service is great. It's a l w a y s busy, even on weekdays, even in the middle of the work day. Reservations are smart! Parking is not easy but not impossible in the area. We live in the city so we always take public transportation. Within the last 6 months, I've discovered a gluten and dairy allergy that really took me down. Without getting into the gnarly details, it wasn't fun and I've been grieving pizza since this new discovery. So why would I go to Tony's with this new allergy? Because! I read that they offer a gluten free, dairy free pizza. Insane I know, but yet they offer it and I was PUMPED. When asking the waiter what I can get based on my needs, he responded to me like I was a war criminal. He was a Caucasian gentleman with brown hair. He raised his voice for all the diners to hear about my allergies, told me I couldn't get any pizza, and when I pointed out that there were options, he told me "I'll triple check if this is possible for you." When he came back and confirmed it was possible, he tells me they can do a gluten free pizza with vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni. It felt like the moment he heard 'gluten' and 'dairy,' he mentally categorized me as 'vegan' and stopped looking for ways to make the experience enjoyable. Yikes! Lol I fully recognize - girl, why did you go to a pizza spot with a gluten and dairy allergy? Yes I am not okay for this hahah but also I felt pretty embarrassed and treated really poorly. This experience doesn't reflect Tony's as a whole, but it was just a terrible interaction and that waiter made it real clear that he has no patience for anything that is inconvenient during his work shift.

The garlic and clam was a great taste, but it's hard to enjoy what essentially felt like a slice of focaccia that was reheated for 15 seconds in a microwave. Again, I have to believe something was terribly wrong with our order, especially after looking at the reviews and seeing the Dave Portnoy review. Maybe it was placed in a cold oven? Maybe someone put a bunch of slices in the oven at different times and accidentally pulled out the newest addition to the oven and served it to us?? Is it all hype??!! Unfortunately, there ended up being an issue with part of our order, but before we even had the chance to say anything, the team had already taken care of it for us. That honestly stood out to me more than anything. There was no awkward back and forth, no need for us to complain or ask for anything. The pizza has charred edges like Neapolitan which adds a nice smokey flavor. The crust has zero flop and a nice golden crust on top. Sauce has a tough of sweetness. I also enjoyed their use of fresh basil and the grated Parmigiano-Reggiano they throw on at the end. It's kinda like a new york slice, but a little gourmet? Very tasty for sure. Critiques: First off, each slice is $6-7, which is a bit steep. Maybe times have changed, but this is def not a budget meal, especially if you are eating multiple slices. Second, some of their already crispy slices have been sitting on display for some time and completely cooled down. When these slices are then reheated, there is a bit of an overcooked taste? Lastly, they only have a few topping options and the quantity of toppings on each slice (especially protein) is pretty sparse. I also ordered a slice of the Sicilian as well to mix things up. It was good, but the crust was just a touch too greasy for me.

He was confused but said okay because it made us wonder if they were closing. I checked the hours, and they weren't supposed to close until 10 PM--it was barely around 9 PM. I HADN'T EVEN ORDERED MY FOOD YET. I was still planning on ordering my own pizza, dessert, and a drink. Instead, we suddenly felt like we were being rushed to pay and leave. What made the situation even more unprofessional was that she left the payment device at our table for Apple Pay and then actually left the restaurant. She was the only server we had seen around, so we were basically left sitting there with the payment device and no server. We eventually had to get up ourselves to find someone so we could ask for boxes and return their payment device. No one had even asked whether we needed boxes, wanted anything else, or were finished ordering. My boyfriend didn't even finish his beer because at that point the entire vibe had changed and we just wanted to leave. We had driven an hour specifically to try this restaurant and were genuinely excited about it, which made the experience even more disappointing. I completely understand if a server's shift is ending, but there is a professional way to handle that--especially when customers are still actively eating and one person at the table hasn't even ordered yet. Someone could have simply explained that her shift was ending and introduced whoever would be taking over our table. Instead, we were made to feel like we needed to pay and leave. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the experience. We really wanted to like this place, but being treated this way after driving an hour to come here was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
