I will mention that by the time he got around to filling the napkin holder, there were about 4 or 5 customers waiting for napkins. The pizza cooked faster than this guy getting the napkins! They messed up some of the veggies on 2 pizzas but the pizza was overall good, but slightly cold and we picked it up 12 minutes after placed the order so not sure about that. Tried this place last weekend. Build your own or get their signatures for about $8. The pizza came out pretty fast and it was really tasty. Plenty of seating and I especially like the patio seating facing the lake; great for a nice day. The only con was I felt like the line could've been a little quicker. The person saucing was a little slow and also the person putting on topping because she had to tear up meatballs up into smaller pieces. I would imagine it would be quicker for it to be pre crumbled, which would be faster if there was a long line. Also I noticed Togo boxes were placed near restroom which I thought was a little odd and just a bit off putting, but I'm a bit of a germophobe so......Other than that I would come back. It was our first time trying it, and we all loved it. Great sauces, toppings and crust. We did the build your own pizza for $8.25 each. Love that they have goat cheese and ricotta cheese. The pizza here was alright. I got the green stripe which is a pesto drizzled chicken with roasted peppers, garlic, arugula and cheese, but they forgot to put the pesto and arugula on it! The pizzas they serve here are artisan style pizza so they have a very crispy thin crust and take about 3 minutes to cook. They cost around 8 dollars for a maybe 9 inch pie. It's not really filling and serves more as a snack. If you want the most bang for your buck just go grab a Costco pizza for 10 bucks. read more

Let me preface this by saying that I love pizza. It's probably the only food that I could eat on a daily basis (not healthy, but at least consistent). I would call Blaze Pizza the "Subway" for pizza, but that would insult Blaze. I would also call it the "Quizno's" for pizza, but they haven't been doing so hot nowadays. You know what? Just take your favorite chain sub shop, sub the "subs" for "personal pizza" (pun intended) and that's what you get with Blaze. You know what else? What would you rather get, a custom-built sub sandwich or a custom-built personal pizza? I know what I would get (no offense to subs). A competitor to Mod Pizza, this was my 2nd foray into walk-up-and-build-your-own-personal pizzas (remember when Subway had personal pizzas? Yeah...I can't seem to forget them... Another note, haven't been to a Mod Pizza yet, but I hear good things). A bonus to Blaze is that LeBron James is an investor in this business. He's become a smart, successful dude for making this genius move [he's also not too shabby a basketball player, I might add ;-)] This particular location is a well-maintained restaurant and it's almost always packed and bustling with business. This location also has outdoor seating in the back, overlooking a small lake. No TV's, though. As with all the locations, you have the freedom to choose one of their Signature pre-built options as well as building your own, all at a fixed price. You could also get a one-topping or cheese pizza for cheaper. You can also customize your own salads here, but c'mon... get you a pizza at a pizza place! For around $8, you can get their standard thin and crispy crust, go for Gluten-Free if you need to, or choose the High Rise, which is thicker than their standard, akin to Pizza Hut's "Hand-Tossed" (the High Rise option is a couple of bucks more). Currently, you can choose from 4 base sauces, 7 (seven!) cheeses, 8 meats, a myriad of veggie options, and finish it off with several sauce drizzle options after your creation is baked to perfection (or a little more baked than that...)! Six slices, reasonably sized, one could eat it all in a single outing if you should choose; you could also pace yourself, do 3 meals of 2 slices each, save yourself some money. Blaze also has desserts (their s'more's pie is nothing much to write home about; their sea salt cookie, however, is. I haven't tried their olive oil brownie). Blaze also serves tropical-themed agua frescas as well as (subject to availability) beer and wine, a nice change of pace from sodas. I always get decent service here. Pizzas turn out well. Some of the staff are friendly, others tend to just... work without putting a little effort in the social aspect of customer service. Fixing an order was a new experience to me recently. I had an issue where one of the pizzas I ordered was completely wrong; I brought back the incorrectly-made pizza and explained to the supervisor on duty, Frankie, about the issue. He was happy to oblige, despite the busy atmosphere, and expedited my order himself (he even offered the choice of a refund, which I don't see too often with food establishments). I was introduced to this place 2 years ago... the Pizza was amazing. They won a customer!!! Today the pizza is still awesome; however , I've noticed a cooking habit. Thought crispy on the bottom, have you noticed is saggy and wet on top? Kind of like between not cooked and semi cooked. Could their ovens be set to bake and not broil? If they don't rectify this pronto it will bring them down because like me, I am sure there are 100s more who came to the same conclusion. I should not have to order "to go"!and finish cooking it in my oven . Do the owners inspect, review comments and deal with this sort of stuff? Also the location in Sugarland, has an outdoor deck that has a serios problem with fire ants (we switched tables and encountered them there as well) and their umbrellas need replacing. I don't eat pizza often and just relocated from the Atlanta area, but I thought this place rivaled Antico pizza which is considered the best in Georgia.The staff are great especially Ceaser, Henry,Claudia, Jorge, Francisco, Kevin and Miriam. They have all the ingredients lined out and you can choose whatever sauces, cheeses, meat, veggies, and spices you want on your pizza. They then put it in their fast fired oven and it's ready in about 5 minutes. For roughly $8 you can get your own custom thin crust pizza straight from the oven, which is pretty sweet. They have a lot of different ingredients so there are a lot of combinations you can experiment with. read more

It's pretty much the standard build your own quick fast pizza place, although each of the different ones they have around Houston come with their own little touch. For this one it's the dough. I love when it's thin, yet foldable and still has a nice crunch at the end. Since I never eat my crust and I ate theirs the dough stands out for me the most. Classic customer service or maybe I jus ran into the right one because Elizabeth was great. Had a glass (plastic cup) of champagne to go along with my meal which set it off even more.
