Large space and friendly staff - learned that the Pesto Sauce is not only nut-free but is also delicious on the crust!

When the food was "supposed to arrive" came at 9:28

Ordered on the Blaze Pizza app around 7:45 PM. By 9:20 PM it still wasn't delivered, so I came into the store. I called the store 12 times beforehand -- I have the call log to prove it -- and no one answered. When I got there, the "Manager" was extremely rude, dismissive, and clearly miserable, and told me to "call DoorDash" instead of helping. No apology, no accountability. The staff was amazing and offered to help way more than he did. I feel bad for them having to work with him Definitely don't think he shouldn't be a "manager".... ‍

I love the original crust but the rising one yuck. Felt I was eating a 7-11 pizza. The crust was totally uncooked. I had to bring it back and put in the oven again.

Blaze is a built your own pizza establishment, select your dough, sauce and topping. Mix and match My husband and I ordered the pesto cheese bread and a raised dough mushroom pizza with pesto sauce. The marina sauce was delicious and paired well with the cheese bread. I think we want to try a different sauce for the pizza next time. My husband liked how fluffy the pizza bread was. (He's normally picky about this) The employees were friendly and attentive. There was plenty of seating inside, but could use some wiping. There's limited parking and weekends can be challenging.

I've been wanting to try Blaze Pizza because I love the concept of a Build Your Own Pizza. I've tried a competitor's before and enjoyed it, so I was sure I would like Blaze as well. I came in on Pi day at 11:30, when any pie was $3.14. There was a line but the wait from beginning to when I received my pizza was about 20 minutes. I did the build your own pie and went for half spicy red sauce and half garlic pesto for the sauce. For toppings, I went all out - I had meatball, sausage, pepperoni, bacon, spinach, banana peppers, artichokes, roasted garlic, mushrooms, red onion, and arugula for a finishing topping. I didn't do any of the finishing sauces, which included balsamic, olive oil, and ranch. I wish they had hot honey but it's not a deal breaker. If you can't decide on your toppings, they have their own specialty pies for you to choose from as well. Is it the best pizza? No, of course not. But will you have a great/fun experience? Yes! It's better than Domino's but not better than your local pizzeria. The ingredients do taste pretty fresh though and seem to be of high quality, and the crust is thin enough since they have a machine doing most of the legwork. Would I come back? Absolutely.

Perfect place to satisfy your lunch cravings. There's signature pizzas or build your own. One pizza is a single serving for one person. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Free parking lot although the parking lot is pretty full on Saturdays. Build your own 4/5 I'd come back for the pesto garlic cheese bread!

Blaze Pizza is always great but I must say this location has good customer service. I've always encountered friendly workers. The only thing is depending on when you go, parking can be difficult (mainly on weekend evenings).

You just can't go wrong with Blaze. They allow you to make your own pie which is then tossed into a brick oven and served fresh and hot. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with regular red sauce and spicy sauce. Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, pepperoni, basil, and added oregano seasoning. They tossed it in the oven and BAM hot goodness. One personal pie is enough for one person (it has a thin crust). I also had a brownie which was heated in the oven. The brownie was really good, rich and moist as a brownie should be. The restaraunt has ample seating and the workers are friendly. One thing I noticed was when I asked for spicy sauce they took out a new spoon to pour the sauce rather than using the one they used for the regular sauce. This is good considering some people do not want any spice in their pizza and this avoids mixing both sauces for the next customer. Great job

Clockwise art lover + mushroom, bbq chicken, meat lovers , pesto cheese bread. It was aight

Customer service was great and I like the idea of blaze, but the taste overall was just ok for me. We tried meat lovers, art lover, BBQ chicken and pesto cheese bread. Out of the three pizzas, I'd say art lover was the best but the other two had me desiring something more. The BBQ chicken with the gorgonzola cheese was just a bit too much for me. The cheese overpowers the taste of the pizza. Meat lovers and cheese bread was filling, but again not that tasty. So with all that said, I'll likely build my own pizza next time and give this another go.

Blood Orange Lemonade

So far this was the best experience in terms of the quality of taste. I got the Carnivore 11 inch w/pickles, a side of Fast Fire'D meatballs and a Blood Orange Lemonade. My folks got a BBQ Chicken Pizza 11 inch, Spicy Pepperoni 11 inch, and Cheesy Bread. Service was quick, attentive, and friendly. Ambiance is chill with dim lighting and portraits on the wall. My only complaint is that the table still had some sauce from previous customers.

Overall the food was good but I'm taking 1 star off for service. I'm not sure if the staff was new but there were a few mix ups between orders of the people in line vs online orders and a few crusts had to be discarded. It was a Friday night so I'm sure it's their busiest night. The pizza was great, I wish we could add more than 2 toppings but overall very tasty and crispy.

A gem in south Bergen County! Spacious bar area, nice dining room, great and friendly service,…read morenoise-level decent, terrific menu - only thing we didn't try tonight was dessert. Great cocktails - I had the "goodfella" - mellow old fashioned. Would have loved that with a cigar! The ladies had cosmos and they were pleased. The menu is limited but a diverse set of selections. No specials - not sure if they offer specials on the weekends. We'll find out on our next visit. For apps: I enjoyed my tortilla soup - more like a chili consistency than soup - and it was delicious! We shared wings as well. They were crispy and meaty and they'll default to mixing in a choice of sauces or they'll bring the sauces on the side for you. Nice touch! For entrees: Can't go wrong with the burger or the chicken sandwich. Add truffle fries for $1 up charge - worth it! Coming back to try the blackened cod sandwich or fish n chips with salt and vinegar fries. (They were just out of cod when we arrived at around 8:00pm - next time!). My wife had the chicken parm - huge portion, decent marinara (rare that my wife orders red sauce outside of a bonafide Italian restaurant) with a side of lasagna-looking pasta - very good! Vikki was our server tonight - smart, organized, efficient. She was a pleasure throughout our experience. Give this place a try - you won't be disappointed! Can't wait to go back soon!

We were one of the first parties to walk in, the host took us to our table right away. I was mezmerized by the gorgeous interior, art and decor of the place. They have a huge full service bar as well. The menu had few choices in each of the sections of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, salad and entrees. I ordered the bulgogi tacos from the appetizers section, that came with 2 tacos filled with slices of flavorful bulgogi steak, topped with some pickled carrots and cabbage. For entree I got the NY strip melt sandwich. Again the sandwich was filled with delicious steak pieces, caramelized onions, cheese and aioli. The bread they used was really fluffy and thick, but I was glad it was the soft brioche kind. The seared salmon was cooked perfectly with beautiful char all around. Loved the virgin pomelo drink so much, I got two of them. The service was good overall. Our server was friendly and did a good job attending multiple tables simultaneously, including ours. The dishes came out within decent intervals. Overall we loved the lunch experience, and look forward to returning again in future to try some of their other dishes.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Piadina: This sandwich was packed with chunks of chicken and chopped bacon (obviously, based on the name of this menu item) and was served on a crispy Parmesan wrap. The ranch was not smothered onto the sandwich, but was served on the side. I feel this was a better alternative because the dressing absorbs into the sandwich which compromises the texture. The presentation of the sandwich could have been better; it needed to be aligned more symmetrically. Salted Caramel Pizookie: This dessert is a variation from an original chocolate chip cookie Pizookie. Toffee, pretzel bites, and white & dark chocolate chip morsels were mixed into the warm caramel cookie. The confection was topped with a single scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. I enjoyed it down to the last bite and craved more. Upon ordering, I did not realize only miniature pizookies are included with this weekday special, hence the name of the ad, "Pizookie Meal Deal." I found out after the fact I could have substituted a regular sized Pizookie for a $4 up charge. (Had I known, I would have upgraded in a heartbeat.) The meal was decent for the most part, but the service was outstanding. Bartender Enrique was very attentive. He kept my water glass filled. When I requested a doggie bag, he also brought me a separate cup of ranch sauce for the leftovers. Enrique was conversational and it was a pleasure being served by him. #bjsbrewhouse #pizookie #minipizookie #saltedcaramelpizookie

Upon entering for lunch after 4 years, Sofia's Mediterranean Grill, named after the owner's mom, I was greeted by the staff. I got a booth, immediately knowing how they get crowded. The inside evoked a cozy and warm vibe with Greek music playing throughout. Outdoor dining is available, weather permitting. Their menu features an array of traditional Mediterranean dishes, offering a variety of soups, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, meats from the grill, seafood cooked various ways, and entrees cooked from the oven. I decided on the Greek salad with grilled chicken. The food was authentic, fresh using the finest ingredients, delicious, and prepared simply, which is exactly what I was looking for. The portion was healthy. The service is always friendly and welcoming. I got to connect with the owner, Nick, a fellow Astorian, to catch up about the old neighborhood. The price was reasonable.
