The first time that I went to this diner, we were on our way to Empire Casino. Reading the reviews, this seemed worth checking out and it was. I got the grilled chicken plate and it was excellent, coming with both salad and fries. Having had such a good experience, I asked my parents to meet me on a rare weekday off from work expecting the same experience. I noticed that the diner was decently crowded, but service was prompt. Parking was surprisingly full for such a random time, but we both got the last two spots. Since it was around 11am, I ordered the BLT Avocado wrap, which is exactly as you'd expect with mayo and a side of fruit salad. Unfortunately, the bacon was so much more fatty than average, the texture of the mayo and bacon fat grossed me out. The fruit salad was surprisingly fresh with strawberries, etc. The high rating here is because the first visit was so good that we would still go back to try it again. read more

I have no complaint about this place, I saw this place in passing a few times so on Christmas Eve when we didn't want to cook and wanted some good food we decided to come here, this was one of the few places that was open. As soon as we entered we were greeted warmly and seated right away. As far as the ambiance it's very nice, spacious booths and seating, clean bathroom, TVs everywhere however it's a bit small compared to other diners, the service was great and our food came out really fast, we both had drinks I had the gin and ginger and my girlfriend had a spiked lemonade, they also have wine and beer, for food they have a big menu, all day breakfast also, I had a Philly cheesesteak panini with waffle fries while my girlfriend had a beef gyro with waffle fries as well, the food was great, service even better, I will always love diners, glad I have another one close to home read more

It was fairly late so I had to settle for diner food. This particular diner was 5 minutes away so I figured, "why not." This wasn't even close to settling. The calamari was delicious. For the entree, I ordered chicken and waffles. My favorite chicken and waffles dish was originally from IHOP. But BLD exceeded and will be my go to when I'm craving chicken and waffles. So....I ordered from here off Uber Eats. We ordered a chicken CESAR salad and there was NO Parmesan... like really? Also, there was basically no chicken. The dressing was ok, nothing special. We also ordered a "chicken cheesesteak sandwich" absolutely dreadful. Great place only a 10min walk from Acura- perfect while waiting for car to be serviced. The food has Been great both times. I can see why this place gets crowded! We came for brunch at around 10 and by the time we left there was a wait. Get here early! Eggs benedict were perfect and the potatoes were super crispy and salty (how I want my potatoes to be!). A friend got the Texas breakfast panini which was also good, although we didn't see the Texas connection. Coffee was good, pretty standard diner coffee. BLD is open 24/7 and it's a great diner with much better food than most diners around. It looks like an old fashioned classic diner. Great comfort diner, I'll be back! read more

So after my first meal in BLD I thought all diners would be amazing! A few months later and a wide assortment of diner experience I can honestly say I only return to BLD. Okay so where do I start? Breakfast potatoes! Seriously, everyone get your butt in there and get a dish with those things, they are heaven in a fried vegetable. Fully intended on having a full meal plus drinks but the way the guy treated me was a real turn off. There is a polite way to get your message across. We came here at least a dozen times since moving to the area, and I really can't say anything we had was great. It was all just average and menu is very small for a diner. The last time we went, my husband ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and asked for a side salad instead of fries. He also asked for some chopped garlic on the side for the salad. The bill came, charged us full price for a dinner salad ($4.95 or 6.95 i can't recall) and $1.50 for a tiny 1/2 tablespoon of garlic. We complained, but they didn't do anything about it. The Grilled Salmon Burger from the Healthy Menu was my choice for lunch. Previous experience with "grilled salmon" made me believe I was going to get a piece of salmon on a bun, but instead it was salmon pieces formed into a burger with other, unknown filler materials, served on a hard roll, now a bit soggy from the ride over to my office from the diner. Accompanied by field greens in a citrus dressing, it was tasty but needed something else on the platter. This was my third meal from BLD-the first was a delicious vegetarian wrap (whipped hummus!) and the second a dastardly falafel sandwich, better suited for table top hockey. There is one consistent delight-the cole slaw-which has been relegated as the cheap accompaniment to most of the dishes. The cabbage, in-season more so than the field greens, is crisp and not overly seasoned, and lightly tossed in mayonnaise dressing. I ate three of them, as they were shunned by my co-workers. I have only ordered delivery from BLD, so can offer no opinion on wait staff, good, bad, or cranky, nor on the bathroom's cleanliness, wait time, or paper towel/hand dryer controversy. read more

Placed our order through Uber Eats. We ordered an appetizer, two sandwiches and a burger. Got charged our full amount but received another order (two sandwiches). Called BLD and the manager said he packed the order himself and that the Uber driver took the wrong bag. Basically absolved himself of any part of the problem.
