My husband and I went to the diner last night and had a delicious meal. My husband ordered a western omelette with hash fries and a side salad I ordered a hefty chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat with a side of potato salad. I started off with a nice glass of Chardonnay to start off the weekend. We had been to the diner and pizzeria place down the road which we did not enjoy. We immediately returned to Nautilis. I highly recommend this diner to all my friends and families When we go out to dinner, I immediately mentioned to my husband this diner and tell him I want to go here. I gave and give it a five star PLUS rating and review once again. For dessert, we ordered two large pieces of strawberry shortcake. My friend loves the strawberry shortcake, and we brought her one for dessert. She called us this morning to tell us it was the most delicious cake she ever had. This diner outshines all others. In my mind, it is the best diner in all of lower Westchester County. I was so impressed with the service and quality of the food. I called Teddy this morning, the owner ,to express my happiness with the food and the service. Went here on Thursday November 27th 2025 (Thanksgiving Day) with my family and parents. We have been at this location before, just not for breakfast, although it is a diner where breakfast is served all day. Also we were visiting NY for thanksgiving. We were here because we needed some breakfast. we were a party of 5. We were seated right away, at a table. Was given menus. Also our server came right away to greet us, and was pleasant. We started with 5 coffees. Our waiter did a good job refilling the coffees and made sure that they were refilled. For breakfast, I decided on their special of Pumpkin Pancakes. other people in my party ordered omelets, a muffin, and other items. I've been dining at this restaurant since 2002 and I find that they are very consistent with the quality of their service, their food, and customer service. This restaurant holds a standard of excellence and it shows by the number of guests on a consistent basis. The staff are team players and it is displayed as you are never neglected upon entering this establishment to exiting. It's a wonderful place to have a group setting, a business lunching or dinner, or a romantic setting. They have much to offer and you get a heep of food on your plate and they have great desert options for those who want dessert or for those who celebrate a birthday! Came here only for dessert, but we were pretty disappointed. The carrot cake was not made with cream cheese frosting (which is the best part!) and the brownie sundae was pretty mid. It had this drizzle that tasted like jam and it was pretty unpleasant. The PB chocolate shake and the quick service were the only highlights. read more

Terrible experience. This is in reference to the waiter with the red Bow tie. The service started out terrible and the check was brought over without asking us if we wanted coffee or dessert. I was with three other women, a 94-year-old a 75-year-old and an 85-year-old I said to the waiter I'm not sure why you're bringing us the check we wanted to order coffee and dessert. He raised his voice and got angry and said I thought you wanted the check! And I said no we would like some coffee. He leaned in from the side of the circle table with his hands on the table to me and told me to Relax! I will get you coffee just relax and I said don't tell me to relax and he said, do you want to speak to the manager? I spoke to the manager I spoke to his uncle who supposedly owns the place and told them what happened. They told the waiter that I personally complained about him, and then the waiter came back at me and told me he did me a favor by doing separate checks. I paid and walked out, and nobody said another word to us. How terrible that this waiter for no reason would get aggressive with three old ladies and myself, and the staff did not care. My family and I got an early weekend dinner here. I'd say the diner was about 20% full around 5pm on a Sunday. The kid options are very good. We got a good pasta and breakfast item (pancakes) for two toddlers, and there was enough to bring home. You do not need to order extra fries! My Reuben with pastrami was really hearty. I remember when they were the best diner around! Now their food smells like dog crap and tastes so bad you can't even eat it. Just threw away $60 worth of inedible food. Every time we order for delivery the order is wrong. Ordered a turkey sandwich on white bread with lettuce. Received hot turkey with stuffing, spinach and mashed potatoes. I can't speak to if it is celiac safe or if they practice proper protocols but I myself did not have any issues after eating them. I like this diner, I have been here a few times, and most recently had a pretty pleasant experience. The food is traditional diner, and there is a great variety of options. My family and I enjoyed our meals and we were able to sample the pancakes, eggs, huevos rancheros, and croissants. The space is so nice and was decorated for Halloween. The staff are friendly and easy to work with. There was a mistake with my order and they fixed right away. Bathrooms are also clean as well and overall I had a great experience and would definitely return. Parking can be a bit limited, we were there on a Sunday around 10:30am. Another one of my go-to diners. What I like about this diner is that 1. The menu has SO many selections 2. There are a plenty of seats, you rarely ever have to wait The food items are decently priced and service is okay. Can't complain. We went around 9pm this time, and waited ~30 minutes for our food. We were very hungry so this felt super long, but usually the food comes sooner. What I was disappointed was that the shrimp add on to the Cesar Salad ($11) was extra $10. We ordered from Nautilus diner through Uber eats, for the 2nd time today. We got sandwiches, the corned beef and brisket. Both were delicious! Lean and soft. well, I was eager to return to this diner tonight because I had eaten there earlier in the year and it was very good. Well, it's a quiet Saturday. Arrived to a half full diner around 6pm, with my family. We ordered burgers, pulled pork, quesadillas and salads. No drinks, just water. Very disappointed when the food came out VERY fast. The pulled pork was super dry, like it was sitting out for a while . The burgers were soggy, even the tomato and lettuce were soggy. The fries were basic, onion rings were cold. What likely annoyed me most was looking for the service for more water, napkins and ketchup. The place wasn't very busy at all. The waiter arrived to take our order LITERALLY within ten seconds of seating us. We didnt even finish hanging our coats! Anyway, I was still eating, when the bus boy came and cleared away my plate. I couldnt even stop him, because he picked up all the dirty napkins and just piled them on my food! NEVER should a server or bus person take away food without asking the patron. I ordered a meatloaf dinner which included 3 thickly sliced chunks of meatloaf, a delicious bowl of gravy, 3 pieces of challah bread dinner rolls, butter packets, creamy mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. This was the BEST meatloaf meal I've had at a diner in the past two years! Meat was soo tender perfectly salted and prepared. Mashed was Heaven mixed in with the gravy. The creamed spinach was delicious. Highly recommend this diner. I had ordered take out and it came to $18.41 totally worth it as the meal was scrumptious and stuck to my ribs plenty nice. I love the Nautilus. A friend took us here and I keep coming back. They have the same owners as the New Rochelle Diner. Some of the staff and managers overlap between them. The Nautilus is one of my favorite diners to go to. It may be a little out of the way for me, but they have an extensive menu and the food is better than other diners I've been to. The decor and layout is typical of a diner - light(er) color scheme, a large counter area with seating, and multiple dining rooms with booths and tables. In terms of food, most things I've had are pretty well done. You can't go wrong with breakfast, and their sandwiches and salads are also pretty good. Service is okay - I have no complaints about the wait staff, they're attentive and friendly. My only real (arguably selfish) gripe is with those working the front of the house. I've been going to this diner regularly for a number of years, and the same people have been working the front of the house the whole time. I'm sure they recognize me, but not once has any of them greeted or acknowledged me like I was a regular - it's the same cold (or lack of) greeting every time. I'm not looking for special treatment, but I'm one of your regulars - it would be nice to be greeted like one. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it is a turn-off. NEVER AGAIN Ordered an egg white omelette with pepper jack cheese and chili. What I got was chili with two other cheeses. Tasted like water and wasn't what I ordered so I asked my waiter for the correct omelette and proceeded to wait, and wait, but to no avail. Finally, my husband went back to the waiter station where no one know what he was talking about.
