This is one of my favorite spots.....Been here at least 20 times over the course of the Summer; I love it.........what can I say! They have the best Thai Tea I have ever tasted, They have actually spoiled me to the way I EXPECT that Thai tea should taste; This one is my favorite. I truely love the fish and rice plate with the little pieces of radish that they put into the rice. My second favorite on the menu is the chicken radish soup!!!!!!! Hello my friends. Lemme tell you a little something this place. This place has a certain charm to it. A nice and warm feeling just hits you when you walk inside, leaving a smile in your face. The servers are great, lemme tell ya that. They always serve with a smile sweeter that ice cream on a tuesday right after a game of monopoly. The food is pretty dank too. What happened to this place? My parents and I used to go here a lot and their food and service was amazing! Now the service is so unfriendly and when I ordered my food the vegetables tasted like they were either old or not washed. Caution!!! Please take a minute to read this before you enter the door of Blenders. You'll save yourself time and money! The other night we stopped by to see what blenders was all about. My wife and I wanted to switch things up so we decided to see what was on the menu. We walked in,approached the counter and asked the two young girls what Boda was? They gave us a sample and we thought okay, and we also seen they made some rice and noodle dishes, as well as teriyaki, etc. they told us they were the only restaurants in the area that may dishes and that all the other places just made drinks. We decided to try it . The very next night. Being our first time there, I asked the young lady what was the best dish. She recommended the squid Fried rice. My wife stayed on the safe side and ordered chicken teriyaki on white rice. We placed our order at 5:20 PM, we waited and waited and watched people walk in and out with their boda drinks and we waited some more, my wife was curious to find out what was going on, so she approached the counter, they told us "coming right out , coming right out". 40 minutes past and the food finally arrived in a to go container just throwing on our table! I mean literally thrown on our table with no reason why they were late !!!! no apologies,nothing !!!!!! My wife and I were completely floored over the time we spent, the money we spent, and the rudest Service ever! We gave them their food back and asked for a refund as well as an apology from the girls that work there. The owner gave us $10 back and we left their place of business. Upon our return to home, I opened my squid fried rice, It was mushy and squid was overcooked , my wife didn't eat her teriyaki chicken and we let it cool off and gave it to the dogs! I haven't checked yet to see if they've eaten it . But let me tell you! If your hungry , do not eat there , there's a reason why they only sell Boda at other places! And the need to adopt the same practice of not cooking!!!!!! If you're an adventurous person with a cast-iron stomach, it's all yours, Please don't say I didn't warned you!!!!! Boba: p e r f e c t e d. (Located in the same shopping center as Albertson's and Subway). While their drink menu may not include all of the obscure, gross sounding drinks that Tapioca Express does, Blenders has all of the drinks from there that I would normally order with a good variety (Taro Smoothie, Green Apple Slush, Thai Tea (they have a rare smoothie version of this here too)). What I love about Blender's thought is that they have CONSISTENTLY great boba. It's always warm and not too thick. It's as if you're popping a bubble; superb flavor and texture. But at Tapioca Express, I often end up with drink-temperature boba that is sometimes freezing and rock hard towards the bottom. If you're hungry for a snack, they have potstickers, chicken teriyaki and some other snacks to boot. The atmosphere is clean with moody lightening and there is always a short wait, so you know it's good. Oh, and don't forget to drop a few in the vending machines on your way out. They have all sorts of cute hybrid characters in there such as Eeyore-in-a-Tigger and Pooh-as-a-Pisces. read more

If my mom tried to open up a boba place of her own, but couldn't purchase a franchise Lollicup or TapEx and tried to copy the menu as hard as she could without getting sued for infringement, that's what Blenders would be. I remember when blenders used to be tapicoa express. We used to call it C-Taps. Haha. The Popcorn Chicken is really good. but i wish that they could make the spicy one really spicy. I get the Strawberry banana smoothie. That is my all time fav. Its a cool place to hang out. Esp if you on a date and wants some boba. But it can get noisy in there because of the blenders running. but it a cool place. I usally drink and eat at there outdoor tables. read more

By far the best boba smoothies in town! Fresh Fruit smoothies have a nice consistency of ice and fruit no artificial syrup flavoring! Fresh strawberry watermelon, papaya, & banana avocado smoothies are my favs! A tad on the expensive side but well worth it! A must try!! read more

I looove their jasmine milk tea! Boba is kinda eh, the food is delicious especially Seafood Rice Noodle Soup! Perfect for the cold winter night~ They also give you an option of a free green tea or black whenever you buy a meal, or a milk tea or thai tea for $1. I usually get the free green tea and take it home for to go and my usual drink! The workers here are very nice! They were always patient with my indecisive butt (I tend to change my order a lot). Almost gave it 4 stars because it was such a big part of my adolescence. Formerly Tapioca Express. Cash only. Drinks were pricey! I can almost swear that they only charged for boba if you asked for extra! Then again I haven't been here in years. Two large drinks + lychee jelly & boba almost came out to $13.00. Getting the same exact drinks elsewhere usually runs about $9+. Boba still has great consistency (soft, chewy). Guess this place suffices for any random boba cravings. read more

If your into smoothies, I recommend this place. In Carson, Blenders offers a variety of smoothies... Oreo, Mango, Green Bean???, you name it, they have it. Blenders also serve meals like fried rice, soup, tempura, etc. My favorite is pineapple yogurt smoothie. I will be endorsing this smoothie drink pretty soon. Was craving boba on this rainy night and came in to both associates speaking to one another and wasn't even greeted, they just stayed awkwardly quiet until I made my order. Made me feel really uncomfortable. The cashier was sweet however once I received my drink I politely said "Thank you!" and the associate who made my drink said nothing in return. This place has changed a lot since it first opened. First of all the place was called Tapioca Express, and their drinks were fairly reasonable, about $2.75 or so, and boba could be added to your drink for $0.25. Back then, they also gave away stamp cards, where if you got 10 stamps, you could get a regular sized drink for free. However, gradually over time, the place has gotten a lot more expensive. Boba is an extra $0.65, large drinks are an extra dollar, and their drinks prices went up. As they are the only boba place I know in Carson, people don't really have anywhere else to go for their tapioca/boba fix, so they can charge this much. As for stamp cards, ten stamps entitles you toward $1 off your drink. For a flavored milk tea, like Honey or Taro Milk Tea with boba, your order's closer to $4. Blended drinks are closer to $5, even more than that, depending on the drink. The service is reasonable, especially if you come at a non-busy time. However, since they sort of hand-blend the drinks (on the lid is a sort of stick that they use to crush the ice while it blends), unlike smoothie places like Jamba Juice, during busy hours it can take a while for you to get your drink. So I'm going to give this place 3.5 stars, as the food is good, their boba is soft and chewy, and their blended drinks are well-made. I'm not too sold on their milk teas too much, except their Taro, Milk Tea and Thai Tea. Other milk tea drinks don't really have a remarkable flavor. I'm removing a star for changing a lot since they first opened. Also, I'm removing half a star as they're cash only, but they have this machine that you can use as an ATM, but DON'T USE IT. The machine charges $1.50 for services, and if you check your bank statements, the bank will charge you $2 for using an ATM not affiliated with your bank. Not worth it. read more

The boba I've had other places were soft & chewy, which is what I have come to know boba as - soft and chewy! I like this place. I used to try almost all of their coffee frapps and they were usually tasty. One day one of the workers suggested that I taste an avocado drink and I thought she was crazy but I thought what the hell and tasted it and it was actually quite delicious in a weird way. They are usually curtious except for the elder lady that works the register usually. I once had to get money out of their atm machine and the paper reciept got jammed in their so I had to tell her and she looked at me like as if I was lying about having paid the money to the atm and it was this long hassle to check all of the receipts to make sure that I paid it. She finally took my order and everything was fine after that but talk about awkward. read more
