I've been here twice- both times for a manicure and pedicure. First time, the experience was great, mani and pedi was perfect. Second time (which was yesterday), manicure and pedicure was done by two different people- which is normally fine. However, you can see the difference in skills. My pedicure was done by a (very nice) lady (Isabelle?), but is one of the worst pedicures that I've ever had in my life. A day later, and it's already chipped. I feel that she's not normally one of the people who does nails here and was just dumped on me because they didn't have anyone else available. Again, very nice lady but she doesn't know how to do nails. Because she had to rush, someone else did my manicure (thankfully!) and did a great job. I'm not sure whether I will return to this place. If I'm paying $37 (with quick dry) for a mani pedi, I should get consistent service. read more

I came here because they were one of the few options in Midtown East that offer rhinestones for nails. Pedicure was decent. Facility is clean. Most importantly, I was beyond happy with what the gel nail tech did for my manicure. She replicated the Instagram picture I showed her exactly. Was so happy with my wedding manicure. I wish I got her name, because she was awesome! Clean and neat place. My friend and and I didn't have an appointment but they were able to take us in right away. Parking sucks around this area. Ended up paying $36 for parking and $37 for my nails including tip. But that's New York I guess. Kitty did my friend's nail. She took her time and was very precise. The girl who did my nail, I don't recall. Erin? She made two of my nails bleed while cutting my cubicles and just said your skin is very dry. The heck. Lol OK lady. She did my nails super fast, like if she had some place to go or something. But she didn't. She was just chilling and I had to wait 15 mins for my friend to finish when we both started at the same time. I wasn't happy with the girl who did my nails just because she seemed to be in a hurry, didn't know her stuff when asked how much it is to get extensions, she said she had to call someone to come and tell me. Uh okay. Yep. Not getting my nails from you again. I left leaving her a nice big tip but she really didn't deserve it. Kitty did though, since she was polite, friendly and was talkative with us. Even though my friend wasn't too satisfied with her result since one of her nail was not so straight, we just made a joke saying "it cho finger go like DAT" I left with two bandages for my bleeding nails + free candies on the counter. read more

I came in here at 9pm on a Friday night just before closing and got a gel manicure from Lisa. It is honestly probably the best gel manicure I have ever had. She took her time and made sure every nail was 100% perfectly shaped and painted (and she actually took a long time cutting my cuticles, which I've noticed most places never do for gel manicures). I love Bleu spa! I live a couple blocks away and I have had experiences with their facials, manicures and pedicures, an eyebrow waxing and a chair massage. I must say this place is divine! Reliable and usually has space for a walk in. I always get gel and it lasts me ~3 weeks. Haven't had issues with quality, but they paint the polish on so thick that it's impossible to get off. It took 30 minutes of soaking to remove at my regular salon! Overall, good value, clean, and reasonable wait times. read more

I've been to many nail salons in the area and this was by far my best experience. I had Jessica and she was great. I got a manicure and brow/lip wax. Second time today there. First was sns. Today after throwing out my back I was running on a tight schedule and they squeezed me in and let my daughter sit quietly with me. I got a hot stone massage from Linda, she has the best hands I've ever experienced. Can't wait to book another visit with Linda. Clean, relaxing, cordial, and friendly staff. I work in the area and I am going on vacation soon so i thought I would give this place a try since I was short on time. I went during my lunch break and the place was empty and I was seen right away. I had the choice between several Essie and OPI polishes , not too Much of a variety but I found what I needed. The massge chair while getting a pedicure was amazing and wang the technician gave me a full foot and leg massage , keratin socks and a hot stone massage in rose petal water , the pedicure was well done and I moved on to my manicure , they throw in a free eye brow wax or lip wax with this service mon - thurs I opted for the desperately needed brow wax . All items used were individually wrapped , sterilized and very clean. I have very short nails and wang did an amazingly neat job . I also got keratin gloves for my hands and a complimentary shoulder massage while my nails dried. I really enjoyed the experience , I was even offered coffee, tea and water. I saw a sign that said them at Thursdays and Fridays 3-8 they offer free champagne and cookies. I will be back for a mani pedi soon on Thursday which seems to be the most pocket friendly day . My only con was that I was there for a whole but I prefer that over being rushed, wang never seemed annoyed or rushed and answered my questions with a smile ! Great place !! read more

Bleu Spa is near where I work and I've been a few times now. The place is very clean and pleasant. They have a bunch of free candy and bananas laying around for their customers which is cool, and not only do they use rose petals in the foot baths, but they use hot neck rolls and keratin gloves for the manicures. My only complaint is that their acoustics are terrible and they stick you right up front where you can hear everything when you get a chair massage. For me it wasn't worth it because I can't seem to relax when I hear girls cackling and screaming on their cell phones. read more

The first time I came I was satisfied with the service. I thought it was very overpriced from what I'm used to paying for a gel mani and pedi. My gel only lasted me a week because they started peeling off. I went back to them and they did fix my nail however the next day, other nails started to peel so I just removed all of them myself. Then I noticed the color of my toe polish started fading away. (I've done this color several times and have never had this issue before). And keep in mind this is only about a 2 week time span. So I though okay I'm never coming here again. Today I thought I would try it one last time because it's very close to me and they usually take you right away. I got a color change, which was literally just a color change. She wouldn't file one of my nails because it's an extra charge I thought that was a little ridiculous. I also got a gel manicure. While she was rubbing lotion on my hand I felt something on my foot so I just shook it but I couldn't see exactly what it was I thought I was loosing my mind. Anyways she's about to start my nails she grabs the LED light and there is a COCKROACH inside of it. I was disgusted because i realized that is what i felt on my foot. There was a cockroach crawling on me. It was soo disgusting. I am definitely not ever going back. And they are wayyyyyyy overpriced. I couldn't believe it. read more

I live nearby and decided to try blue spa out for a manicure and the following week, a pedicure. A regular customer at nearby oasis nail and black label nail, this is even closer to my apartment, a plus. The manicures are $2 more at $12 but come with warm gloves with lotion. My manicure (with yu yu) looks great a full week later (regular mani, not gel). Today I tried out their signature pedicure with Anne which was relaxing and thorough and it included the callous treatment and a ten minute foot massage. The best. I've been to every nail salon in the neighborhood and this is the cleanest(they actually clean the pedicure tubs with disinfectant, etc) and nicest salon around. It is a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. My gel manicure always lasts 2plus weeks, which never happens anywhere else. I see Nicol, she is meticulous. I was going to a nail salon for 20 years until my manicurist left and the service I got after was terrible. so I decided to try Bleu Spa. Its new and clean. I usually don't like going to a manicure place when a man greets you - but this manager goes beyond to make sure you are welcome. They give you bottle water, rose pedals in the pedicure bath, they are constantly cleaning and giving massages. I have continued going and am yet to be disappointed. staff was so friendly and accommodating. I will recommend them and continue to go for all my manicure and pedicures! The owners clearly take pride in their business, and it makes ALL the difference. I went here tonight for a 10 minute massage for $10. The employees went over the time and went above and beyond for it. The inside was very clean and modern looking. The staff was extremely friendly and put effort in everything they did, as well as gave multiple coupons with very appealing deals. I've been going here for about 3 months. My first pedicure was amazing, massage and all. However, I've had about 4 pedicures since, and none ever compared. It's only good depending on which person you get. The last straw was I came today for a gel manicure and pedicure. They told me there was a 15 minute wait. After 45 minutes of soaking my feet and having no one tend to me, the manager then barely clip my cuticles on my fingers and then attempted to put gel polish on. I couldn't believe that no one was tending to my pedicure, and then in addition, they try to give me a half assed manicure. I got up and left.
