perfect vietnamese coffee!! I'm actually grateful this place isn't so close to me because I would be one overly caffeinated girl. Wonderful service and clean restrooms. lots of outdoor seating and several parking spots. lovely coffee place

    Love the decor. My style!

OMG!!!!!! I love this place to death!!!! If you're a sucker for Vietnamese coffee but can't do regular milk, this is the place for you. They have oat milk which is a great creamy alternative in your LVTC. The iced Neapolitan VTM is also a delicious treat. My boys loved the lychee peach black tea and the Yuzu mango matcha. Love that they're on DoorDash too!!! Yummmmm!!!

I thought the vietnamese iced coffee would be diluted and not strong. Boy was I surprised! The VTM was the perfect taste of a vietnamese coffee. I am so happy with my drink! The cold foam was definitely a good addition to it. Very quick and nice service as well.

No one wanted starbs so we decided to see if there was something a little cooler and exciting and we landed on this place. Loved their cup that said "sleep is overrated" I got the matcha ein...the matcha thingy with the foam. It was incredible!! My husband got the vietnamese coffee version and really loved it. My mom got the spanish latte and she enjoyed it! My dad got the regular viet coffee & slurped it down so i say that was a winner too. The girl behind the counter was friendly and answered our questions. The drinks came out quickly. Very clean but smaller space so i would say more to go than hang out. Good amount of parking. I would definitely visit this location again!

Nice ambiance and music, they sell cute and simple shirts both short and long sleeves. They have other merchandise - coffee beans, condensed milk, caps, and more :) I went to get a quick iced americano, after a walk along Laguna beach state park. Quick service, very friendly and good ole classic americano.

Large iced Vietnamese coffee, one of the best I've ever had

Used to go to blk dot back in high school at another location but haven't been back in years. My boyfriend and I were walking past and I decided I wanted to try it again because I remembered their Vietnamese coffee was amazing here. It was seriously as good as I remember if not better. We both got a large iced Vietnamese coffee and absolutely loved them. It was is so creamy, strong yet sweet. They have the perfect mixture. The price was a bit high but every cafe is nowadays. The workers were nice and my drink came out so fast. The inside is cute and clean, but very limited seating and it was busy for a Sunday. Definitely going to come back!!

Went on a Friday around 2pm and there wasn't a lot of people! Service was amazing; big shoutout to the two girls helping us and being so friendly. I ordered the matcha einspanner and it tasted great. My friend ordered a lychee black tea and it was so refreshing, especially after a hike we went on earlier. The only mishap was that the worker may have misheard my order of a matcha einspanner for the Vietnamese einspanner, so I had to ask them for the matcha instead. The workers remade my drink and even gave us the Vietnamese einspanner! What a wonderful experience; we'll definitely be going again!

I love the look of the inside of this place. It was so cute very modern and aesthetic. The drinks are so delicious and the workers were so kind. I got the Spanish latte and my friend got the chai latte and they were so delicious 10 out of 10 would recommend I would definitely come back.

I had a nice dining experience here getting coffee and a snack. The staff was friendly and welcoming and their coffee was very good and fresh. I would recommend this place.

iced Iced Uji Matcha Latte- Almond Milk
    Jordan S.

Came here to try their matcha latte since they use Uji Matcha which is one of the highest grades of matcha from Japan. The matcha powder does come from Uji, Japan and is made from young tea leaves. I haven't tried this grade before but I loved it. It made me have lots of energy throughout the day (very slow burn energy). They do offer a regular and large size which I liked. Usually a lot of coffee places have one size only so I appreciate the multiple sizes they offer. There is parking in front of the store and in front of Pavilions which is next door. The matcha latte was sweet but also left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth which I enjoyed. I also love gardening and they had free coffee grounds to help garden which was so nice and cute. Definitely promotes eco-friendliness. Also no pets are allowed inside!

    Yuzu Mango Matcha Latte

The service was good and the taste of the matcha was nice, but the drink was mostly ice so I only got a few sips out of it... for an almost $9 drink I was expecting more.

Great coffee and service! There was a long line when we came but the line was quick. After ordering it only took around 10 minutes to get the coffee. The restaurant is smaller with no indoor seating so it's more of a take out style. But there are outdoor seating when it's warmer. I got an iced vanilla latte w/ oatmilk. It was really good! I would definitely go here again. .

I was looking for a fun spot to grab coffee from and then go walk around the beach. Blk Dot coffee perfectly did the trick! They were busy the Saturday morning I went, but we were able to snag a parking spot out front. They have a great location right off the main road. I opted for a matcha and could visibly see the baristas making it fresh as I ordered. It was delicious! They also have an assortment of shirts/coffee supplies to purchase. It's decorated so cute inside. I'll be checking this spot out again when I'm in the area!

Pleasantly surprised!!…read more After moving my daughter out of the dorms we went down to Laguna and she recommended this place. I wasn't a fan of getting a sandwich but I will say IM GLAD I DID! Our sandwich was delicious! The bread is out of this world. The arugula so fresh. Clean, cute place, not far from the water, just on the main steeet. Thankfully we got parking right outside front.

Still tasty but a bummer as I love arugula! Today I decided to place an order right when they opened for pickup, so it wouldn't be busy (less chance of error), plus I wouldn't have to wait at all. I ordered a basic sando with no meat. Picked up my order around 10:30 am, no wait, easy peasy. Opened it at noon to eat it for lunch, and shame on me for not checking it before I left! It was bread with mayo, a dot of mustard, and a tiny bit of cheese. No shredded lettuce, no tomato, no onion. Basically a mayo sandwich. This time I called to complain as I really don't want to eat bread with mayo. I had to drive back down the hill to get the new one...a 10 minute drive, and then circling for 5 to find parking since lunch hour is so busy and what I was trying to avoid! This time I unwrapped it before I left to make sure I got what I ordered. (Would have been nice to throw in a bag of chips or a cookie for free given the inconvenience.) The little bar/biergarten out back is cute. And surely where you'll wait if you go at peak times and don't order ahead. I'd order for pickup again in the future, but no way would I leave without checking it.

You're basically just going through the motions, my friend. We paired it with their ice cream fudge sundae, and we could not have been happier with our decision. The moment that warm butter cake hits the table, pure joy consumes your soul. Anticipation builds like you're about to open the best gift ever. The only logical response is to grab a spoon (yes, a spoon because a for would be a travesty of a mistake) because you need the perfect ratio of buttery cake, berry compote, and ice cream in every single bite. You carve that first perfect scoop, lift it toward your mouth, and suddenly your taste buds are doing an Olympic-level gymnastics routine--sticking the landing with a gold medal performance. It's a holy, almost spiritual experience you desperately hope never ends. By the final bite, you're slumped back in your seat, practically begging for a belly rub like a satisfied golden retriever, whispering a quiet prayer that this isn't the last time you'll experience this life-changing dessert. Ps. The service is amazing and the vibe is perfect for a date, a night with friends, or a celebration.

I always go for the ribeye melt or the French dip (order while it lasts). Both are absolutely to die for. The au jus is drinkable, and I could eat the Worcester sauce with a spoon. Next up, the butter cake. Oh my god, this thing is to die for. Although we're always stuffed after our well portioned entrees, we never ever leave without ordering it. The cake is rich and crumbly. And the compote complements it perfectly, although I always wish there was more. The little mint leaves are also a wonderful bit of added flavor. If you go for the sides, I would highly recommend the potato salad. It's slightly more acidic than most, and it has little bits of bacon, which give you little bites of smokeyness. The one time I didn't order the potato salad, I got the blue cheese and tomatoes instead. It was more of an underwhelming side because it was - you guessed it- just blue cheese and tomatoes. Probably a little bit of an interpretation mistake on my part... Overall, you can get an incredible entre for around $18. This is very competitive with other restaurants even outside Laguna Beach. Delicious food, and great value for your dollar.

Took my mother-in-law here for her birthday and we all had such a great experience!…read more We got there around 4-4:15pm and had about a 20 minute wait, but we were able to find a high top table that we got to sit at and were able to order drinks from the bar, so that helped to pass our time. We got seated at our table at our table around 4:30p and had the most perfect view of the ocean! *we went on a Friday night and noticed the patio cleared out about 4:45-5pm and I didn't appear to have a lot of people waiting during that time. The main patio was covered with umbrellas, so once you are seated for dinner, there was plenty of umbrellas for shade and heaters for when it got a little cooler. For our food orders, and as recommended by our server, we went with their seafood options and ordered their Pacific Ceviche for an appetizer and for Entrees my husband got the Roasted Halibut and me and my mother-in-law both got the Scallop and Shrimp pasta. We all loved our dishes and were very satisfied with our choices. Their menu does have non-seafood options, but why not to try what they're most prominent for? They don't have a dessert menu, but they heard that we were celebrating mom's birthday so they brought us a little Toffee Cake to share and enjoy...and for a place that doesn't have dessert, the cake was pretty delicious. Such a cute place all around. My husband and I can't wait to go back! Parking - they have valet parking available right in front of the restaurant or theres street metered parking in the surrounding area.

On the deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean! What a beautiful view!!…read moreWe came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Upon arrival, you'll find that the valet completely disregards the flow of the street. They use the southbound lane as a parking lot, effectively turning a small two-way road into a one-way alley. The valet guys were also rude to people trying to drive through for no apparent reason. When sitting outside on the deck, there are 12 heaters available, but the hostess wouldn't turn them on. (I've eaten at many waterfront restaurants, and they all turn the heaters on--especially when the temperature drops from 80°F and sunny to 68°F after the sun goes down.) The website states no seating after 8 p.m., yet they were still seating people well after 8:15. The menu was also not what I was expecting. While waiting for dinner, the aroma of marijuana drifted across the dining area. (I know they can't control what happens outside their establishment.) the deck is roped off because apparently it's unsafe and could fall off at any moment in addition to the rotting floor. The food: The menu is underwhelming. I ordered the chicken with sun-dried tomato risotto and vegetables. The risotto was undercooked and flavorless, and the chicken was also lacking flavor. I sampled the New York steak with mashed potatoes--the steak was cooked well, but the potatoes were cold. We didn't even bother ordering dessert and went elsewhere instead.
