My review is for take out only. Food: Hot, fresh, cooked to order (judging by the wait time), which was still reasonable, and delicious. I got a chicken bowl with teriyaki sauce on the side, and unless you upgrade to white meat for extra it comes with thigh and leg meat (dark meat). I like that though since it's juicy. The portion size is good for the price and I felt the amount of meat included was just right without needing to add extra. Also subbed out for fried rice, which is yummy as well. Ambiance: it's cute fast casual imo. You can order at a table from a kiosk and enjoy the food there or take it to go like I did. If I had more time I wouldn't mind sitting there. I want to start this off by saying I've ordered delivery from Blosom quite a few times and the food has always been good, decent quality. It's not the best, but it's consistent and tasty. However, to not keep paying delivery fees, we decided to go in person since the restaurant is close by, and that was a mistake. It's a cute, clean restaurant in a weird location, tucked into a corner by the target. They have tablets at the tables, which is fun, and they still brought paper menus, but we ordered off the tablet. It is odd because while my husband was deciding what to order, the tablet told us to order or it would time out. So I ordered my food and sent it in and then a few seconds later, my husband put in his order. Mine came out quickly and was the quality I'd come to expect. And then...we waited. And waited. Other parties slowly trickled in (prior it had been mostly empty). When I saw they got their food long before my husband received his, I flagged one of the two waitresses and she assured us they were working on it. Like me, my husband got two sushi rolls. It took another 15 minutes (during which time soups and plates had been handily delivered to other tables) before my husband finally got his food. There was no apology, and no acknowledgment that two rolls took over a half hour. If they had forgotten the order or something had gone awry, that's fine! I understand the chaos of a busy kitchen. But to not acknowledge or check on us in a near empty restaurant is just poor service. I will stick to ordering online. read more

This same location has been so many different things from a chicken shack to sandwiches but they never intrigued me. When I saw this new Japanese restaurant and learned they had a buy one get one 50% off sushi deal, I knew I had to go. When you walk in the vibe is nice with good music playing. They have order tablets at every table so you don't have to go to counter or call for waiter. The cashier/waiter was very friendly and said they had been opened for about 4 months now. They had a lot of variety on the menu. I was by myself and just wanted a quick bite so I ordered 1 Blosom signature roll and 1 crunchy roll. It was about a 15 minute wait before I received the crunchy roll first. I liked it because it had a lot of sauce on the plate I could use for dipping. Then the Blosom roll came which I absolutely loooved! It was topped with crab and scallops. The crab was really good but the scallops lacked flavor. Next time I will ask for my eel sauce on the side. Having a hard time understanding why this place has decent reviews, had a lot of issues when I ate here This place has a hidden prices for food purchased with a credit card, so it's cheaper if you pay with cash. The issue is that the cash menu is the only one displayed on the tablets and on the menu. I pointed out that my total was more than what I originally thought it would be and they told me the menu says it's a cash menu. Didn't see that. Even if it was, deliberately hiding that fact, making it difficult to find out, and not telling your customers outright is greedy. To the owners who think this is a great idea to get more money out of people, it will hurt you in the long run because this alone made me not want to come here. Now to the food, it was unbearably mid. Rolls were soggy and it was a mush bomb. Prices were not that great considering I can drive to a place less than 10 minutes away with higher quality and better pricing. read more

I've ordered from here a few times now--twice for pickup and once for dine-in. For fast-casual Japanese food, this place is great, and I'm happy it's just around the corner. The menu is very simple which makes it easy to decide what to get. I dined here with my sister and we ordered crispy rice with spicy tuna, fresh salmon salad, katsu plate, spicy miso ramen and tempura ice cream for dessert. Everything was so fresh and delicious especially the veggies that were used in the dishes. Portions are quite big especially the salad and ramen. Service was excellent. I live nearby and decided to check this place out for dinner since it just opened. I really wanted to like it... but honestly, I left pretty disappointed. 1. Misleading Takoyaki Photo * The menu photo showed five takoyaki balls, but when it came out, there were only three. * I get that photos are "for reference only," but showing a totally different portion size is misleading -- especially since the menu didn't clarify otherwise. Maybe choose a different photo? Lol. 2. Hidden Card Pricing * The menu lists one price, but the receipt showed two -- a lower "cash" price and a higher "credit card" price. * There were no signs or notices about this anywhere (at least none that were obvious). * Most people pay by card, so this felt pretty sneaky and left a bad impression. ‍ 3. Service Was Just Okay * Ordering on the iPad was smooth, and food came out quickly. * But no one really checked in afterward -- we had to get up twice: once to grab napkins (after we already asked for) and again to ask for the check (which they forgot to bring as well). * It wasn't busy, so the lack of attention was noticeable. 4. Food & Quality * The sushi itself was fine -- fresh enough, but not memorable. * For the price, there are definitely better options in the area with higher quality and friendlier service. 5. Ambiance * The space is modern and newly renovated, but the loud R&B and hip-hop music didn't really match the dinner vibe. I came here for dinner on a Monday evening, since I was already in the area at 6PM. Since I arrived before the dinner rush, there was plenty of seating available. The ambiance is very modern, hip and vibrant. I was greeted by Naomi and she handed me a laminated menu. There's an option to order using the tablets installed on the table or directly to the waiters/waitresses on duty. Since Naomi kindly offered to take my order, I accepted the gesture and ordered directly to her. I ordered a Shoyu Ramen that is non-spicy, with Chicken Breast. The ramen noodles were al dente and the broth was perfectly seasoned with umami. I also like the bamboo shoots that complement the crispness of the ramen noodles. It came with a half slice of soft boiled egg, caramelized onions and chopped green onions. My only minor issue was the chicken breast was overcooked, which led to a dry texture. Perhaps, I suggest slicing the chicken breast into thinner pieces so that it won't feel too dry upon chewing. They are still in soft opening stages as of October 2025, and I'm confident that Blosom will improve their quality and enhance their authentic Japanese flavors as they embark on their new era at La Cienega Plaza. I will definitely come back to try other ramen variants and other Japanese dishes on the menu. Next time, I'll bring my friends and family too. read more

09/15/2025 I came by here a few weeks earlier thinking their Soft Opening would start since I have been seeing advertisement or more posts from Blósom social media. I stopped by here after work to see the OPEN sign lit up. I am more worried about how people are driving in this parking lot than anything else. This lady driving the wrong way down the aisle too. I asked the girl who took my order what does she like to order. The Shoyu ramen, chicken or beef bowl, the Katana roll which looks like a lot of avocado, and Rock n Roll which is fried shrimp on top of California roll. I do like these suggestions but I went with the Tonkotsu Ramen for $16.95. I really wanted to try the Katana roll but will have to be next time. So, after anticipating their opening as the sushi lovers my family are, and stopping by not too long ago, thinking they were open only to have the door locked and no closed sign up, my wife and I stopped by the other night to pick up some dinner. Now we've been living in the neighborhood long enough to see this space go through some changes. I want to say this is about the third or fourth different place occupying that space since we've lit down the block. but we were excited to have a sushi place nearby hoping that they would be good. And unfortunately we had an interesting first experience. The inside is really nice. You could tell they put both money and effort into making it as nice as possible. Which was really cool to see. One thing I enjoyed was the staff being friendly. That's not always the case unfortunately in some restaurants. Now here comes the unfortunate part of my review. We only ordered five menu items. Including four rolls. My wife, our baby and I ended up waiting 40 minutes. Such a long wait for just a few items to go. And when we asked for updates and when the food will be ready, they kept giving us answers such as two minutes, five minutes. Now the place wasn't that busy, sure they had customers eating, but the place was not packed. So it was confusing and frustrating. As I was out in the front with my baby, I overheard a gentleman on the phone saying that he was there for an influencer event. Now, if that was the case that this place was holding an event, then maybe they should have explained to other customers that there would have been a bit of a wait time. The wait time alone and the lack of communication was a very bad look and first impression to me. I just didn't feel like an appreciated and valued customer for an establishment that just opened days ago. Which is unfortunate because like I mentioned earlier, my family and I were looking forward to them opening to have a new sushi place in our neighborhood to enjoy and support. Food on the other hand was good. Fresh and tasty. I am curious to stop by at least one more time to try a few other menu items. I strongly recommend you do not get the vegan ramen, I got it tonight and it was literally missing half the stuff it stated on the menu, as well as the additions I asked for. I also could not get the attention of the wait staff unless I physically walked up to the counter, I understand the kitchen was backed up because they were training a new chef or something but I wish they had told me that they didn't have most of the vegetables in stock that were in the vegan ramen before I ordered it?! My husband and I live near here, and we have already been 4 times since the soft opening. Every time, the food has been great, the service excellent and the staff & owner super friendly. I also appreciate the chill vibe in the restaurant with music that isn't too loud! My go to is the salmon avocado roll and the pork gyoza, husband is a big fan of the bowls/plates (which are huge). I also have to note that even during the soft open, they were able to provide an enormous order for a party we were having, the owner personally helped us coordinate and guided us on keeping everything cold (or warm) through the evening. All of our friends were so impressed with the food and presentation. 12/10 will keep coming back, so glad to have these folks in the neighborhood! read more

I went here when they had their soft opening and they were open until 12 am because I usually get food late. It's sad they open until 10 pm now but it's understandable. The first time I went food was great and the quality of it was great. Food took long about 30 mins but it was worth the wait for food that taste fresh and for the price it's a little pricy. You get what you pay for though. I ordered takeout in person. Today was my second time going there. Had a problem with ordering through grubhub when I ordered my crunchy roll sushi. It said I can get tempura veggies as a SIDE it really meant to replace the tempura shrimp with the veggies. I was already pissed about that but I will take the L for today. Then my last straw was when I realized my chicken bowl did not have any teriyaki sauce on it or any sauce on the side because last time it came with a lot of sauce. I called to let them know and to my surprised they had amazing service. They answered the phone quickly and the owner Erick offered credit on another chicken bowl plus an appetizer.
