I went here today for lunch with my girlfriend at around 1:30 p.m. The restaurant looked clean,…read moremodern, and wasn't busy at all. Customer Service: (5/5) The waiter was very nice throughout. She was very endearing as she talked to my girlfriend in chinese and also kind to me when speaking in english. When asked about dishes and proportions, she was very knowledgeable and honest. Food: (4.5/5) We ordered the Mapo Tofu and Meizhou Special Fried Rice with chicken. The food came out within 10 minutes and the portions, as I saw on previous reviews, were generous enough for us to share and be full. The Mapo Tofu came out on a hot ceramic bowl. It wasn't as spicy as I thought, not overly spicy but just enough where you get that numbing kind of sensation in your mouth that leaves you wanting more. The beef wasn't like the ground beef you see in other mapo tofu, but more of chunkier pieces which I wasn't a big fan of as it didn't seem spread evenly. The Meizhou Special Fried Rice with chicken was probably one of the best fried rice dishes I've ever had. You can tell it was made from a wok and the flavors were just incredible. The chicken seemed to have been friend separately and added on top afterwards but the saltiness of the chicken didn't take away from the fried rice at all. Instead, it added to the flavor and made it all so enjoyable. For the ultimate experience, I'd recommend eating both together to maximize your palette!

The Peking duck is still the reason to come, but nearly everything around hasn't kept pace with the…read morecompetition. The space feels worn -- menus tattered, décor dated, the whole interior overdue for a refresh. For a restaurant positioning itself at the higher end of Chinese dining, Meizhou Dongpo is sleeping on the finer details. No complimentary tea service, and rather than offering a pot for the table, they serve individual tea by the mug -- a comically oversized Western mug at that. Chopsticks arrive without spoons, and when you ask for one, you get silverware instead of the porcelain you'd expect at Chinese restaurant. The Peking duck accoutrements came with a little plastic spoon on the tray. Small things, but they add up.The fried rice was a letdown too and looked nothing like the menu photo. Spots like Din Tai Fung and Lunasia Signature are operating at a different level and the gap shows. Meizhou Dongpo has the bones of a great Chinese restaurant. The duck alone proves it. But until they invest in the experience around the food, it's hard to recommend at this price point.

This was horrible. I ordered from DoorDash today and after waiting a long time for them to heat up…read morethe soup, I guess...the dasher even texted to say he was surprised it wasn't ready, they sent me four $15 pints of soup that weren't worth the $4 I could pay at Pavilions soup bar. And it was COLD. After all that extra time waiting for delivery, the soup was cold, and didn't look or taste anything like described. They had obviously tried to defrost some old crappy soup and warm it up barely. So of course by the time it arrived it was cold as all get out. I've just wasted money unfortunately. I usually try to give some ghost kitchens a chance, but if you can't keep your quality up, why are you in business? Did you look at that sad, cold soup you sent and think...yes this is what will get us more customers. Such a waste of time and money. The search for good soup continues. Avoid at all costs unless they seriously step up their game.

His customer service is top notch, and just is an all around kind human. Thanks for guiding me to your temporary store front. If you step inside of Skys Tacos, (which is an institution in its own right) you will find the Massy Soups. I licked the spoon, drank the bowl, of Carrot Ginger, and Split Pea. The soups rock, usually soup is bland, boring, salty, or some other form of a mess. The soup here tells a story, has flavor, and tastes more like you blended a neighborhood of flavor town into a bowl. I'll be back. In the words of Mr Dice Clay, "what's in the bowl" (you can finish the rest)

I chose the seared ahi tuna with a side of farro salad and beets. Everything was spectacular, and tasted fresh. My meal also came with a small slice of grilled bread that also was very good. There were so many options and combinations to create, you could probably eat here every day for a month and not eat the same combination. Very happy with the taste + healthy choices as well as the reasonable price- Tender Greens is a great value and very satisfying, especially since it's located in Westfield Century City.

I have never set foot in one of their physical locations, but I've ordered from several of their locations for delivery. I do not understand how this location remains in business. For starters, the food is horrible. There is always something missing from orders from this location. The drinks are equally terrible. I love their hibiscus tea at other locations, but the hibiscus tea at this location was so tart and sour, I could not drink it. I ordered a pesto pasta dish that comes in either a vegetable option or with chicken. I ordered the vegetable pasta. Despite the pasta containing pesto, it is flavorless. I ordered a side Caesar salad. The salad contained more dressing than salad. I am used to the salad portions, even side, salads, being full, and containing fresh ingredients. The salad was neither fresh nor made properly. That's confusing, considering a Caesar salad is literally romaine lettuce, croutons (the croutons in the salad were stale), Parmesan cheese (of which there was none) and dressing. I ordered another side salad, which literally consists of lettuce and dressing. That wasn't made correctly either. A good 50% of the lettuce was wilted. The pasta, as I said, was flavorless. Each item was supposed to come with bread, which I requested. I received the equivalent of one and a half slices of bread for the three items. I will need to make a note to self never to order from this location again. It clearly slipped my mind that I ordered from this location because it was three years ago when I first left a review. This location should close because they definitely do not comport with the standards of other Tender Greens locations.
