There was no wait to order. You come in, walk to the front, make your order and sit down. They bring it to you. I grabbed a tropicana orange juice and ordered an omlette with bacon, sausage and cheese. It came with homefries. My friend ordered pancakes, which comes with homefries, bacon and eggs. When it came we took our pictures for yelp so you could see the true presentation and then doctored the plates up with salt and pepper as it was needed. My omlette was a little runny, i guess i should have ordered it well done. The homefries were mushy but they make them with onions which i am not a fan of. My friend had the same issue with the potatoesbeing mushy. She had well done eggs which looked good. Her bacon was a little fatty, not cooked and she thought it looked weird how it curled around like a tail. The pancakes were "bomb" and she had "no complaints" and was happy they used mrs buttersworth syrup. All in all it was okay. The pricing was average. We both felt it was a nice addition to gaithersburg. Better than village green, better than first watch, and better than old towne cafe. Montgomery village cafe is better, and has a liquor area, whereas blt is just next to a beer and wine store. Its right by the HMart in that plaza. read more

We went for breakfast and it was great. I got the egg white steak western omelet. The portion size was so big for me that I couldn't finish a 1/3 of it. But it was so good. We got my toddler the meat platter and it was a big portion too. My husband got the waffle platter and almost finished all of it. The place itself is clean and neat. Very organized and fast. This was literally the hottest food I have ever had even compared to my own kitchen! Everything is made to order, the restaurant is super clean, and service was fast. We had a breakfast platter and a steak and cheese for under $20. Why isn't this place more crowded on a Saturday morning? They even have a sense of humor and we had a laugh reading the funny signs on the wall. We're so glad we checked out Yelp before heading back to our usual breakfast spot in Rockville. I can die in my bed til 10:30, drive 25min and not have to worry about a lunch curfew! It sure is a hole in the wall, but very well kept. Clean, put together. I order, I blink, I have my food. Hot, steamy, fluffy cakes.....eggs cooked a perfect over easy and home fries and sausage links with wonderful skillet marks. And real sausage....not that Jimmy Dean stuff. Living up to their name, the BLT Grill serves up a delicious BLT! The bacon is thick-cut and has a great flavor - no cheap stuff here. They put a lot of bacon on the sandwich, with crisp lettuce and good tomatoes. It's a fine sandwich.
