Omg the best organic eggs I've tried in years! The food was very delicious and I really enjoyed, no wonder they are packed every time. Delicious brunch spot! We met up with another couple for brunch on a weekday and this place was pretty busy, I can't imagine what it's like on the weekend. We sat outside and it had a nice casual atmosphere. We ordered the Crunchy French Toast as an appetizer for the table! I recommend this! It was delicious and their specialty but would be a lot to have as a full meal! I ordered the Blue Jam Benedict and my boyfriend got the Breakfast Quesadilla! Both were delicious! The grilled potatoes are amazing and their ketchup has some sort of sweetness to it, which is great with the potatoes! Would love to try out their other locations too! I ordered their famous crunchy French toast with a side of 2 egg whites, and my daughter order the homemade pancake from the kid's menu...Let's talk about this pancake for a moment. When I "ok'd" her order, I was thinking $7.95 for a pancake was going to be 2 pancakes since it wasnt coming with potatoes or eggs. So when the waitress brought out this medium size pancake, I was SHOCKED! $7.95 for one damn pancake????!!!! This pancake had a sprinkle of powdered sugar and that's it. It was suppose to come with fresh strawberries but it didn't. So I asked the waitress for the strawberries and she said they ran out, and asked if I would like the strawberries that they put on the French toast, which are finely diced. She brings out the strawberries in the little itty bitty saucer that the put the vanilla sauce in, which meant it was probably equivalent to one whole strawberry. My French toast was well worth the $14 (which was absolutely delicious, by the way), and I had no problem paying $14 even though that was expensive. BUT $7.95 FOR ONE MEDIUM SIZE PANCAKE THAT DIDNT EVEN COME WITH ALL IT WAS SUPPOSE TO COME WITH!!! RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED!!!!! TO THE OWNER: I have no issue paying an expensive price for high quality food, but I would suggest that you either lower the price of that pancake on the kid's menu, add one scrambled egg to it, or make the pancake much larger. We of course had to try the French Toast. It was delicious. Crispy, fruity with the added berries, and sweet with the vanilla syrup, there is nothing to dislike about the french toast. Every bite from the french toast makes my eyes roll to the back of my head. I ordered the Norwegian benedict, which is their take on a lox benedict. The salmon tasted of great quality. The poach egg and muffin were the average of what you would expect on a benedict. Though, the hollandaise and additional fix-ins were better than the average. My mom got the breakfast quesadilla, which was savory and filling. Both the benedict and quesadilla dishes came with house potatoes. The house potatoes were delicious as well, having parsley, and being seasoned well. Have those with some hot sauce, and you can have breakfast just with the potatoes. The presentation for all the food was done well. The pricing was fair. Finally, the portions were very large. Blu Jam Cafe has the most efficient service during this pandemic. There was a line outside to be seated, but the line moved quick. We get seated and are told to scan the qr code to place our order. You also pay through the phone, which limits person to person interaction. Our server was incredibly kind and showed us how to order through the phone. We received our orders fairly quickly. One thing I want to note is about the staff. While waiting for the food, I just watched the staff. They all knew how to hustle. All staff were friendly and very fast workers. The ambiance is really nice. The interior decor is very modern. It gives off a cozy vibe rather than a sophisticated one. Something to mention is the water they give. I understand it's just water, but they give it in a really nice pitcher with lemon and a plant in it. The place is really clean. I notice staff members constantly switching gloves, which shows sanitation. Parking is a bit difficult, they have paid valet parking. If you'd rather not, I suggest street parking. Went to have breakfast with my parents on Saturday morning. I have not been to blu jam café since COVID, from beginning to end the service was great. The food the drinks everything taste like I remembered, if not better. They have a new System for placing orders, I was a little confused at the beginning but everyone was very helpful. I enjoyed the fact that everything came out pretty fast. They also give you a shot of orange juice and ginger which I'll find to be really good. I recommend you get there early to find a seat because it does get busy pretty quick. Always a good place for breakfast especially the one in Sherman Oaks. read more

This is a great place if you're looking for something clean and healthy. The potatoes lack flavor but the poached egg was cooked to perfection. Blu Jam is my go to breakfast spot when i am back home. I always check in on yelp first and put my name on the wait list so by the time i walk there I am ready to be seated. ( usually a 20 min wait depending on what day it is.) I always get their Florentine Eggs Benedict, it never fails me! Their potatoes with their home made ketchup is next level. I hate ketchup, but theirs is unique and super flavorful. It doesn't taste like some garbage out of a bottle. If you like sweets~ share the Maui French toast with the person you're with! Going to Santa Barbara for college, they were one of the only breakfast/brunch places I could brag about from my home town area as Santa Barbara is a breakfast/brunch lovers dream city. We were worried it would take forever to get a table because it's Sunday and they also have less tables due to corona. Unfortunately, (I'm assuming due to cleanliness and corona) they only served water that was pre-bottled, and already prepared to be served with our utensils. I do enjoy that they are conscious about the pandemic by limiting the interaction with the staff and have the customers order through the phone. The waiters were friendly and made sure we got everything we need. My gripe is that food was very bland. The hollandaise sauce wasn't enough to carry the unseasoned toppings of the egg benedicts. The potatoes definitely needed to be salted and covered in hot sauce to be enjoyable. The crunchy french toast was soft and the vanilla bean sauce didn't scratch the right itch. Once the hostess brought us to the outdoor seating area, customer service stopped. Our server came by and took our drink order of coffee and water. She brought back coffee (no cream) and did a return trip to give us water. We asked for cream....because hello, and it came close to 10 minutes later.
