I've been a regular at this Blue Bottle location for a long time--about 4-5 times per week--and I've generally had good experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing. When I came in recently, one of the baristas (a red-haired, Eastern European or Russian girl employee) was standing around chatting and gossiping with a coworker while I placed my order. I asked for my coffee black, and right away she made a loud, sexually derogatory comment to her coworker. It felt unprofessional and uncomfortable in a public workspace. After getting my coffee, I asked another worker for half-and-half on the side so I could add it myself. I ended up with extra half-and-half and didn't want to dump it into the small trash bin at the counter, so I politely asked if they could take it. The same barista immediately gave me an attitude and told me to throw it away "around the corner." I said I didn't see a trash can, and instead of helping, she stared me down and made additional derogatory remarks about me to her coworker within earshot. That kind of hostility and disrespect is not what I expect from Blue Bottle, especially at a place I've supported so consistently. I hope management addresses this, because no customer should be made to feel uncomfortable or mocked for a simple, polite request. read more

I'm the biggest fan of Blue Bottle and recommend it in a heartbeat, but this specific location is not it...You would assume because it's part of the chaos, where locals/tourists are passing by through transit that employees/service here is exceptional and understanding, however such is not the case. I was one of the people stopping by before catching the train and was pretty wired from lack of sleep and probably should've just ordered my drink through the app. Instead, I went the inefficient route and actually stood in line to order at the register. Turns out I just missed the seasonal lavender yuzu flavor by a day, so I had to course correct and think of a backup to order on the spot; I appreciate the employee made a sample of the housemade syrup and was honest that it's not for everyone. After three menu order iterations, I decided to just get a NOLA shakerto, however when I was about to slide my card, I realized that the order wasn't entirely correct-I thought we aligned on the 16 oz cup, however at that rate from the employee's lack of empathy/patience, I just ended up complying...I would've loved to spend more money here however would rather visit Blue Bottle's other locations. read more

I got a look at the pastries and they looked fresh and inviting. With no place to sit I decided to skip coffee in Moynihan Train Station and hit the door once again..... I returned another morning and there weren't any customers. The food court is still not open for a seating option. The other seating areas are for passengers only and are cordoned off. Coffee was great, but service is horrible. I asked for a iced chai latte and they handed me a hott latte, I nicely mentioned I asked for a iced chai latte, the ladies were rude. The lady who took my order ran over immediately and said "she never said iced" in front of me. I am paying $9 plus tip for that, for rude customer service. OK. Should work on your customer service if you are trying to sell high end coffee. read more

This Blue Bottle Coffee is located in the brand new Moynihan Train station. Besides Starbucks it's the only other spot open in here right now to get your caffeine fix. It's more like a kiosk/booth with a decent amount of hot and cold coffee options. Nice staff and the booth is very Covid safe with plastic partitions all around. I had a hot cup of Caffe Latte to walk around with and explore the new station. It was delicious. They also have cold brews, teas, espresso, ans sparkling drinks. Also some pastries to nosh on. Prices seemed reasonable for what it is and where it is. read more

Went twice today and ordered the same drinks. Morning and 1:15 pm ish. The first order was great .. that's why I went back to get second time. What a horrible mistake I made!! Staffs were so busy themselves to chitchat each other. Made my Nola shakerato ($9.80) half fast job. When I received it the cup felt empty. More than half was foam. When I addressed my concern/ question to the staffs I couldn't believe what I heard. The employee totally ignored me saying " have a good day ". As if she's an AI robot. Wasn't ready to listen and so unprofessional. Company should shut down this location before these imbeciles make more mistakes and customer upset. read more

December 2021 - COVID Review: I heard good things about Blue Bottle Coffee so I opted to try this instead of getting my usual Starbucks when I saw the stand at the train station. I'm not sure if it's because it's located inside Moynihan Train Station or if their prices are usually this steep, but we paid about $6-$7 per coffee and we didn't even have different sizes to choose from. My husband got a regular iced latte and I got the iced shakerato since I was intrigued. My drink definitely tasted good but I was disappointed in the size compared to the price. But I guess the price goes towards taste and quality? The staff were really nice though and I maybe would give it another chance if I saw it outside of the train station. read more

This place is usually less crowded than the Starbucks in the same station and has comparable products and pricing. I actually think they may be a bit better to be honest. It's a kiosk in a loud bustling train station so they try to be fast paced but it can get a bit backed up in the mornings. I have not tried any of their pastries yet to be able to give feedback on them but I will next go around. read more

I got a hot chocolate at this place and it was bad. I did not go into the shop as my family went in for me, so I'm not sure of the service or ambiance. But the drink just didn't taste good. I think they used dark chocolate. I also had a brownie and it was ok/not that good. read more

Why is it so good Best mocha EVER. I've had blue bottle 3 times, and their mocha is my absolute favorite. I say this with full confidence, and I have had a lot of different cafes takes on mochas. Mocha is made with a vegan chocolate ganache, I ordered mine with almond milk. They use (califia farms barista blends line). Milk texture was absolutely perfect, silky smooth and perfect microfoam. Their chocolate is not too sweet which I love, really allows you to still taste the espresso as well as the dark and rich flavors in the dark chocolate. I wish I could have savored this drink more, can't wait for my next one. read more

This is usually my favorite place to go to but the night staff always leave my coffee Burnt and flavorless. This happened twice and the first time I asked if they can remake it. The morning staff does a excellent job. Not only is the night staff not pleasant but they honestly make me never want to purchase from that location. I get the Shakerato everyday without fail, I know how it should taste. The first time it was made after 5pm it was chunky and bitter, when they remade it? it was worse and today it was no better.
