Disappointed with the service, food and charges. We asked for non spicy soup but waiter kept insisting on giving us spicy tofu soup. We ordered hot tea but forgotten and still being charged. Bibimap didn't come out on stoneware as expected. Waited for a long time to be served and for a remake of the seafood roundup. At the end, the bill given by a lady seems like manager in charge and came out from the back of the restaurant. Bill was shocking as we were over charged by extra dish along with hot tea that I didn't get. I explained the whole situation to the lady while I started calculation each item at a time . Total of my calculating c as me out $20 less. My advice is please look at the receipt carefully before pay your bill. We came to celebrate my future son-in-law's birthday and had a really fun evening overall. We usually go to the Arden location, but since it's closed right now, we decided to try this one,and I'm glad we did. The sides were a standout,everything was fresh and flavorful. The fish cake was especially fresh, and the miso soup was absolutely wonderful,comforting and perfectly balanced. The fried rice, unfortunately, missed the mark for me. It felt more like plain white rice with peas and corn mixed in, rather than a true fried rice dish. That said, the pork belly more than made up for it,it was delicious, well-cooked, and full of flavor. Definitely don't skip the cheese corn and dumplings, they were highlights of the meal. And all of the beef options we tried were excellent,tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The birthday dessert was wonderful and such a nice touch to celebrate the occasion.I loved the spinning reward, which made the experience even more fun and interactive. As a big fan of the OG Howe location, our longings for Blue House were hitting hard with the prolonged remodeling of the original location. We went to Blue House Roseville for a celebration, and were hoping it would be as good as the OG. For the most part, it hits the spot. If you're a fan of the taste of Blue House, you'll feel right at home here. There were some things of note that were of interest to us that differed from the OG. The ventilation isn't as good. It's definitely more smoky; not only is it visibly more smoky, the smell definitely lingers more at this location onto your clothing. This place is smaller and can't handle as much traffic. Just something to note for large parties or those wanting to go on days that are probably more busy. The ordering process at least for us was old school. Unlike their other locations that use tablets, it was paper and pad. This led to some mistakes in our orders. Additionally, it took a while between rounds for wait staff to get back to us. This also was reflected in drink refills. The kitchen felt it was a little slower than other places, so it compounded into longer waits. If they fixed the wait times between rounds, it would have made a much better experience. read more

Came in for dinner and had a really great experience overall. The food was just as good as I expected and everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. I did notice this location is a bit smaller than the other one, and the selection of side dishes is a little different too, but it didn't take away from the experience at all. It actually felt a little more low key. The variety of banchan here was a bit different compared to the other location I've been to, but everything we tried was still really good. It was nice getting to try a few new things, and everything paired perfectly with the meat coming off the grill. Huge shoutout to our server Erica!! she was amazing all night. Very affordable for a dine in place nowadays also has lunch specials 11-3pm.! Came here on a weekday. Not too busy during dinnertime but when it does get busy, there's not much room for waiting inside so be prepared to hang around outside if you're waiting in line. Lots of parking. The interior is well lit and great for a catchup dinner with friends or even going to eat after work on a weekday. It's a bit more casual than some other KBBQ places which I enjoyed. I tried Option B on the AYCE menu, only thanks to my server's recommendation and I'm so glad I did! I was expecting to only try the A option but after talking to the staff, I was completely convinced!! Service can be okay depending on when you go. The night I went, I was blessed to get Koby as my server. He was extremely welcoming, and really took the time to educate my group about the different options and meats. We had a million questions and he was warm and friendly through it all! He was super quick and handled all of my table's needs. He really took "Make a customer, not a sale" to heart. If you can get Kobe as your server, do it! Your table will have the most fun time. You get the basic sauces right away (salt and sesame oil with a side of Gosu sauce). I usually get lots of kimchi and lettuce wraps to pair with my meats but you can also get rice if you're feeling it. I love the little taiyaki ice cream but sometimes the ice cream does come a litter freezer burnt. I wish there was another taiyaki piece to balance out the ice cream to taiyaki ratio. This is a KBBQ place after all but that's something that I noticed if you're looking to get dessert here at the same time. They have several soju flavors to try and a special Valentines Soju Cocktail Slushy as well. It was sweet and refreshing but I don't think I would reach for it again unless I was really in the mood for a sweet treat. It wasn't too strong either. Shoutout to one of the workers (I think his name was Alex?) for recommending the drink to me. He looked so focused working, I honestly felt bad for interrupting him but his hospitality was incredible and he was wonderful explaining the different drink options for my table. Bella was our waitress and she was fantastic. Super attentive and accommodating. All of the staff today were great. The food was good. Even though it was busy our plates never stacked up and we got what we needed. The bathrooms were nicely stocked. It's always really chill here. The staff is so chill and polite. Be kind to your wait staff! We didn't have a great experience the previous visit but that was a very rare occasion and people can't be perfect. The owner reached out but I didn't reply because it didn't feel necessary. Maybe if it was consistently an issue but it's not. I highly recommend this place for a visit read more

We came on a Saturday right when they opened so it was empty. Even as we dined, it was empty and a few parties did not trickle in until the end of our dining experience. This was my first time at this location. I have previously dined at their Sacramento location years ago, which is now temporarily closed. Service was great. A shout out to EJ for being so attentive that we didn't even need to use the service button. Also how cool is it to have a service button on the wall at your table that you can press! I've never seen that at any restaurant and thought it was nifty. We chose the lower tier option which still has a TON of different meat and appetizer options. I enjoyed the galbi and my sister enjoyed the spicy bulgogi. They also give you cubes of meat fat as a way to grease the grill before laying down the meats, which is a nice touch as well. We got the fries, jjangmyeon, and steamed egg as appetizers. The fries weren't the best and could probably use a couple more minutes in the fryer. The jjangmyeon was disappointing. I've never tried it before but it looked like regular ramen noodles to me. I wish we had more room to try more appetizers! Overall a good experience! read more

Had the best experience at Blue House on Thursday! My friends and I usually go to the Arden location because it's closer, but since they were closed we decided to drive the extra miles to the Roseville location to celebrate a birthday. We've never been to the Roseville location and were surprised to see how upgraded it was compared to Arden lol. We were seated immediately with no wait time (but then again, we were there on a Thursday night). It did get busy throughout the night, so I would expect a wait if you're coming later during dinner time or if you have a big group, and I suspect the weekends are even more busy. The service here is amazing, our server checked in on us frequently and always offered to change our grill. We noticed that compared to the Arden location, our server here literally never forgot to put in our orders and everything came out really fast, which we appreciated. We happened to come the night that the general manager, Eric, worked and he came by our table and had a great chat with us. He ended up surprising our table with complimentary tiger prawns which he cooked for us, some mango bingsu with mochi, and a coupon for my friend's birthday. We weren't expecting ANY of this, so it was quite a treat and made the drive out there so worth it. We loved this location and can't wait to be back soon read more

Tried their AYCE option "A" for $38/pp which included a variety of beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and all the appetizers. Option "B" had a few extras but didn't think it was worth it. It's a standard Korean bbq place. The star was definitely the meats. The appetizers were fine, but you'd end up getting filled on those and those were mid. Pork belly (with wraps, ssamjang, pepper, and garlic), Ribeye, Daechang (Large intestine), Hangjeongsal (Pork Jowl), and LA Galbi. All the meats were great! On request they even gave us a nice chunk of pork fat and a flat slab of onion to keep the grill nice. They had a nice trio of condiments, and they gave me a little bowl for my Preffered sesame oil and salt. The corn cheese, Gyeran-jjim (steamed egg), and seafood Soondubu were all decent. The banchan was okay. I've had better and I've had MUCH worse. This could end up being my favorite in the area. The drinks and options were great too. I was suprised that there wasn't much of a wait for a Saturday night. Got seated fairly quickly after putting our name down on the waitlist. They have 2 options for the dinner ayce. Option A is $38/person and option B is $48/person. I went with option A and felt like that selection was big enough. There's a ton of appetizers to chose from, but don't order too much of it cause those are fillers. Their meat quality wasn't the best I had, but I did enjoy the brisket tho. The bulgogi and garlic soy marinde is on the sweeter side. The staff was amazing tho. Our server, Bella, did an amazing job of checking up on us to see if we needed to order more food and if we were doing ok. She was even able to memorize everything we ordered without writing it down. We went last Saturday with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. We were seated fast and our waiter, Bella, was everything! She was so attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us. She really went above and beyond. The food was brought out so fast too! Everything was delicious. My personal favorite was the sesame ginger chicken. The portion sizes for the sides are huge, especially for the cheese corn!! It was great! The drinks were wonderful too! We all got a round of "Sake Bombs" and a few of us got "Soju bombs." All were very good. Our friend was sang happy birthday, given a piece of cheesecake, and got to spin the wheel! This all made it such a memorable birthday for him, we couldn't be more pleased. Its been 6 years so time for an update! Took my sister here for lunch today. They are located in the Macaroni Grill shopping center. They had a sign on the door effective May 2nd prices have changed so they only had the QR code to view menu. Really prefer paper menus so I asked what do they do when people don't have cell phones??? he says they try to find an old menu that is mostly the same except prices. Thankfully he did because it had pictures whereas the online one did not. Even then it is pretty dark inside and the writing is small. Difficult for us old folks. We chose to order regular vs their AYCE $38. You really need a group for that and just can't eat that much. She got the box and I got the beef Ramen. I asked not too spicy as my last one was too spicy to eat. He kindly checked in on the spice level with me and it was perfect. I couldn't eat it all and asked for two boxes so that I could put the broth in separate and he offered to have the kitchen to make a little extra for me to take home! Service was on point! but prices did increase quite a bit. My Ramen was now $22 when it used to be $19 I think? but it seems to be the average price for a meal at a restaurant. Its my favorite place for Ramen because I like the flavors in it and doesn't have a bunch of weird things in it. Repeat customer review: The food quality, number of menu items and service have definitely gone down to where we are now on the lookout for another place. We were here today and except for the spicy or the bulgogi items, nothing else has any taste any more. Even the spicy meats are just a lazy attempt with sriracha sauce tossed on them along with a few jalapeños. The Cajun shrimp was literally 6 shrimps with Cajun dry powder poured on them. All the appetizers were super slow to arrive and didn't taste that good. Service was also super slow. I am definitely disappointed and sad. Tried octopus (interesting, tuff, chewy) and if you tell them you're celebrating a birthday, they sing happy birthday and bring out a prize wheel for the birthday haver to spin (my friend won a gift card). My only complaint is that it's a bit pricey: $38 per person for the option A/B dinners, but I would say it's worth it for the good vibes and memories. We were told it was last call pretty much after our first round of ordering so we went ham just to make sure everyone got the meat they wanted. Allen checked in with us often just to make sure we're getting everything we need and want and we were more than happy with his service, and the quality of meat we were being served even thought it was the end of the night. We tried to get out of there as quickly as possible for the staff and we very much made the right decision coming to this location for the people despite it being 30 minutes from where we were and an hour and 30 minutes from where we live to come here specifically. read more

I came with someone who had never been here before. We ordered a few things that we had never tried and we weren't sure on how to cook them so we just guessed haha The general manager came around and said let me help you, and cooked the meat for us the right way. He also gave us pointers on how to use the sauces and how to cook other types of meat. He told us the popular options and his favorite option as well as the history of how some of the meat got its name. We ordered everything and it was so good! If you're doing all you can eat, I recommend number 28, 50, and 53 on the meat options. The pork belly was crispy and so delicious -and I went in there as not a big fan of pork belly. What a great place to eat if you're looking for all you can Korean bbq. Decided to come and celebrate for new years with the family. The food is always good. We get multiple rounds of our favorite spicy beef bulgogi, LA galbi, cheese corn, and of course the kids love the fries and fried chicken. The strawberry mango bingsu topped it all and the kids loved it, as well as the adults! Service was amazing. Even though it was super busy, Hans and Kenny were phenomenal. My son had spilled his drink by accident and it was cleaned up right away. Made sure everything was good, refilled as we needed, ordered more food as we're ready for the next round. So thank you for being great staff! The restaurant was very clean. I glanced around and all the tables were all taken and it seemed like everyone was enjoying their lunch/dinner. What a great way to spend family time together eating and having conversation. I love going to this spot because the customer is always great, never had a complaint. The food is always delicious too!
