    Firecracker Shrimp

Stopped by for dinner with friends. I was unprepared for how overwhelming this specific branch of Texas Roadhouse would be. We were seated quickly, but I noted multiple parties near us with people sitting in the walkways next to booths, which made the restaurant hard to traverse. There were lots of taxidermy pieces to look out, though the restaurant was also incredibly loud - I could not converse with my friends at the same table as me due to the level of the music. I got the firecracker shrimp, which was good with the rolls served to us. For what it's worth, the service was very good, but I would not be likely to return.

First time at Texas Roadhouse so I wasn't sure how good the steak would be as a chain but the Ft. Worth ribeye was 10/10. Fun vibes in here as well, I see the hype lol. Service was fast and friendly but can take a min to be seated.

Food was great and service was decent. We enjoyed the cactus blossom, prime rib, and bone in ribeye. Perfectly cooked. For our sides we got sweet potato, cup of chili, Caesar salad. Our waiter checked on us once but we wish he came back bc after tasting the food we wanted to order a few more dips and sauces but it was hard to wave him down.

Visited this location on a super busy Sunday evening. They were packed and it was still only a 20-30 min wait. We decided to grab a seat at the bar since it was immediate and we were famished. The bartender was friendly and took our drink order immediately. The waitress did take. Abut more time to get to us but she was just as friendly. Our bread rolls were forgotten about so we reminded our waitress and she brought them out. As I said, we were famished so I was extra antsy! I decided to go a different route and ordered the fried catfish this go round. It was great! Came out hot and quickly. As far as cleanliness, the Barton was pretty dirty and could have used a good wipe down... not just a brush off of the big crumbs. Everything else was wonderful though. We love Roadhouse and will definitely be back!

My friends and I came to Texas Roadhouse on a little girls night because two of us had never been! We enjoyed it. The food was delicious. We got a variety of food from chicken tenders to a salad. it was absolutely delicious. The service was good; however, we did have to ask them twice to bring out some missing food which was frustrating. The ambiance was so loud and honestly very crowded. People were sat in Aisles at tables. It didn't seem like they had enough room for the people they sat. I would try it again, maybe not on a weekend.

It was extremely busy and noisy but the service was excellent I ordered the catfish with sides of chili and fries. As a native Louisianan I was impressed. The catfish was like my grandfathers. The chili seemed like it was made with leftover prime rib. It had just the right amount of heat Hubby ordered prime rib with loaded baked potato and green beans. He said it was a little bit rare but had a great flavor. Our son had a sirloin with chili and baked potato. He said it was delicious. It was my husband's birthday so they made him sit on a saddle and sang a birthday song. They also gave him a chocolate dessert. The complimentary rolls tasted like my grandma's. We didn't care for the cinnamon butter so we had them bring regular.

I just love the music at Texas Roadhouse! It started a bit rocky when I received my well done steak that was supposed to be medium. Becca and Harley are awesome! They happily took my steak to the back and ordered another perfectly cooked steak! Of course my salad and baked potato were as delicious as always. I do prefer all of my potato toppings separated on the side so I can use as much, or little, as I want. So it was a bit disappointing to get the potato toppings all in one container. I'll just have to remember to ask for them in separate containers next time. :)

Was craving a good steakhouse and remembered there was a Texas Roadhouse not too far from home, so my guy and I decided to give it a try. I'm giving three stars, and honestly, that's mainly because of the service. Our waitress was great super friendly, attentive, and kept the rolls coming. And let's be real, those rolls and that cinnamon butter are the best part. Unfortunately, the steaks just didn't hit the mark. Mine was pretty fatty, lacked flavor, and overall felt underwhelming. Definitely not what I was hoping for. I might give them another chance down the road, but it's not at the top of my list.

This was our first time at Texas Roadhouse. We were greeted and seated quickly after putting ourselves on the waitlist, and we were given warm rolls and peanuts right away. So the start was good. Our waiter was switched mid-service, which was fine, but after that the experience went downhill. My food came out first (family of 4), and when the rest of the food arrived it was all just lukewarm. My steak and mashed potatoes weren't hot at all. Cheese fries appetizer were dry and semi burnt. Our server never checked on us after the food was delivered. The only time we saw them again was when we asked for boxes. Disappointing first visit.

Restaurant is filthy. Bathrooms are unusable. I can only imagine what the kitchen and back areas look like. Urine all over the floor. Bathroom garbages overflowing, soap dispensers broken.

Everybody's standards can vary so we authorize our government to set a general level that we all can agree on. This is the role of the Restaurant Health Inspector. I want to be fair, but I also think customers deserve to know when there appears to be a REPEATED food-safety pattern. According to Sacramento County health inspectors, Black Angus on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights was RED-CARDED on March 2, and then again on June 23, 2026. The reported violations included rodent droppings in multiple areas, cockroach activity, improper food storage, and sanitation concerns. The restaurant was reinspected the next day and reopened with a green card. My concern is not just one inspection. My concern is the repeated nature of the problem. If a restaurant is closed for rodents, roaches, and sanitation problems, then later has another closure or serious pest-related inspection issue, that raises a fair question: was the underlying problem truly corrected, or was it only cleaned up enough to pass the follow-up inspection and get a green card? A green placard means the restaurant passed that inspection. It does not erase the history. Repeated pest and sanitation issues should matter to customers, especially when choosing where to spend their money and where to eat. Here is the inspection information so people can review it for themselves: https://inspections.myhealthdepartment.com/sacramento/permit/?permitID=92928452-A99F-48A4-94F1-2758EB0C9C7A

The hostess greeted us with a question. "You ladies came to drink or to eat?" She asked. We came for both! We sat outside near the entrance way. It was a nice shaded corner and it gave some privacy from the plants that were decorated along the entry way. The menu was small and interesting. First hour is happy hour $2 off drinks and $10 off food. I'd say this place is perfect for drinks and apps. There isn't a big variety for entree's. But those appetizers were the show! Our Order: grilled riblets, garnish shrimp pieces, watermelon tomato salad beef sliders French fries and the blackened salmon. The ribs-10/10 fall off the bone seasoned well with some kind of green sauce at the bottom. The garlic shrimp- 10/10 in chili garlic oil with focaccia bread. Blackened salmon- 8/10 compared to how flavorful the appetizer's were it made the salmon lack in taste. Something was missing but it was still good loved the coconut milk flavor in the jasmine rice! All in all 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

I arrived around 11:30 and the hostess seated me immediately. Our server, Jaden, came over to the table right away to introduce himself, provide water, and ask if I wanted to get started with any drinks. I decided to wait for my friends to arrive, and while waiting, I took a look at the food and drink menu. Upon arrival of the two friends, we ordered cocktails first and then decided on food. I ordered the Pink Pony and later the cosmopolitan, and eggs benedict for breakfast. My meal was quite delicious and I finished every morsel on my plate. The poached eggs were done perfectly and I really enjoyed the potatos. We were seated in the interior dining room to the left of the entry and I did not check out the other interior areas of the restaurant, but I loved the Mid Century Modern / Palm Springs vibe. I especially loved the "fly fan" on each table to use because the bar behind where we were sitting was open to the outside. We did not have an issue with flies but the fans are a nice and considerate touch. Jaden provided excellent customer service, checking back as our drinks got low, and checking back on the food, which we all very much enjoyed. When we left there was some live music outside, but we did not stay as it was a pretty warm Sunday on 6/14/26, but I will most definitely return. I'm especially looking forward to returning in the evening when the weather gets a little cooler toward the end of summer. This is a really fun place, with great food and great service!

They have an amazing happy hour menu that goes until 10 Pm. The prime rib tacos were SO amazing, not spicy, so flavorful and the texture of the corn salsa added so much to the whole bite. The garlic fries were fantastic, loaded with chopped garlic (jarred kind), parsley and parm. We also tried the loaded potato skins, they were great but I was pretty full by the time they came so we left a wounded soldier. The tumbleweed onion straws were also fantastic! My friends ordered prime rib, kabobs and the filet mignon and were nice enough to share! The prime rib is served on a sizzling plate with au jus, and was fantastic! The filet was well seasoned and the kabobs were good, although I prefer a little more rare. The appetizer happy hour menu had $6 and $8 items, food and drinks. The howdy beer was $4 and was pretty decent! My friends loved the $6 raspberry lemon drops! Above all of this though, our server was amazing. She worked her butt off for us and really made our visit Amazing. I'm the worst and only caught that her name started with a J, and she'd been there for 20 years. For a moment, we thought we had walked into Ruth's Chris! I honestly wanted to leave, but I didn't want to embarrass my other half. She ordered the 16-ounce prime rib dinner for $48 and asked for it as rare as they were willing to serve it. I ordered the smoky bbq bacon Burger for $23 and requested it medium done. The first prime rib they brought out was surprisingly small, extremely fatty, and well done--not even close to what she ordered. My burger was also cooked well done. I ate it because I didn't want to wait for another one, but she sent the prime rib back. The replacement was much better and properly cooked, which is the only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one. The service was disappointing as well. My water glass sat empty for the last 30 minutes we were there, and nobody offered to refill it. She also tried the mashed potatoes for the first time, and we both thought they were terrible. They had a strange sweet, mayonnaise-like flavor that did not belong in mashed potatoes. Our bill was approximately $100 for one prime rib dinner, one burger, and no drinks other than water. At those prices, the food and service should have been much better. Unfortunately, we won't be returning to this location again.

If you're not online, this place would go unnoticed but shoutout to the birthday boy, my friend, as he has been here before and talked about it a lot. The wait is over and I must say I've been missing out. Hidden from street view, this spot has a great outdoor patio space. Skeptical we had a table there because we were eating during peak triple digit heat, but the space had everything to ensure guests were comfortable. Ceiling fans that actually work and water misters that didn't leave a wet mess. Incomes the drinks and food. Happy hour always makes me happy. Snagged a lager and brisket tacos. One could say it looks basic and nothing special but boy is it flavorful. Decently sized chunks of brisket. Nothing melt in your mouth but had that softness that made it easy to chew. The pairing of the sauce was nice to balance out the saltiness of the meat. Grab them tissues cause it's a juicy one. A bit pricey, $12 for 2 tacos but def a nice splurge. Down to business. Burger choice for my first visit, definitely not the last, was The Peach Pit - that double patty, rosemary aioli, bacon crumbles, Swiss cheese, spinach, and our house made peach chutney, served on a toasted brioche bun. Solid choice. The beef was juicy, cooked to my liking (surprised they didn't ask how we liked ours cooked). The cross section of the burger is elite. Layers of ingredients adding to the flavors of each bite. I'm a sucker for Tabasco sauce so I couldn't really taste the peach chutney, but I do remember what I believe was a peach slice fall out of the burger. 10/10 would recommend. Just be prepared to use the napkins. It's a sauce/juicy one. Fries were standard. Crisp, fresh. My friends ordered other burgers that looked good. I was able to try some of the garlic fries and pesto sauce. Rich and tasty. Trust. I will be back for their burgers sooner than later. Who is with me? Let's gooooo! Our server seems a bit scattered and indifferent. One of our guest ordered a pour and a half of a red wine and got a half pour portion. Our little one wanted filet mignon but didn't really care for the sides that come with the entree. So the server told us they can do just the protein and it will be about $27 for the plate to which we were ok with. The food came out as a full entree with the sides.
