Summary: they no longer hand toss dough but instead use a machine to prepare the dough. This compromises the once great pizza served here. We are highly disappointed and unfortunately after 15 years will never come back. It is with great sadness I must submit this review. We've been coming to Blue Moon for 15 years. It's a trek for us but we loved the unique Blue Moon style. Especially the delicious crust. Last night we made the 60 minute drive anticipating the same delicious pizza. When it arrived at the table, we immediately knew something had changed. The pizza looked flat and didn't have the seasoning/garlic butter on the crust. When we asked the waiter if something has changed, his reply was shocking. He stated we know longer hand toss the crust but now use a sheeter for the dough! Very sad. I know the owners are trying to drive profit, but it is my belief that in the long run, the pizza just isn't as good and this will be their ultimate demise. Visitors location for the first time is the person who just moved to the area. The host was in training, very attentive. I ordered meatballs and one slice of pizza. I was told the waiter would be 15 minutes or more. No problem when I pick up my food, the pizza was well done & the crust was so hard that I couldn't eat it. Because I am a business owner. I travel a lot through Atlanta so I noticed see my meatballs. I did not have any silverware or napkins. Meatballs are a little tough for my liking. Pizza is one of my favorite foods so it's always fun to try a new pizza joint that I've never been to. Blue Moon offers solid pies for a decent price. I was excited to try their Buffalo chicken pizza, as that's my favorite pie at mellow mushroom. I think their take on the Buffalo pie is a good one, with an especially good kick. It's on the thinner side as well, which I'm a fan of. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was well cooked and not too greasy. I went during a slower time before dinner, so it wasn't busy, but the staff was very attentive and friendly, and I would be happy to visit this Blue Moon again. read more

Work used to cater from here and it was good. So was open to trying the location close to my place in person. Came here during lunch on a Sunday. We arrived at 12pm and were the first customers there. There were 2 of us and we wanted something lighter as well as a pizza. We ended up ordering a greek salad with no cheese and dressing on the side. We also got the Luna pizza because chorizo on pizza sounded delicious. Since our server knew we were sharing the salad, it came on two desperate plates which was nice, saved us the work of splitting it. The salad also came on a thin pizza bread thingy with herb seasoning which made it more fun. Our pizza came after we finished our salad. For the two of us we ordered the medium-size pizza and that was plenty. We took 2 slices of leftovers home. The chorizo and jalapeno had a kick, especially after eating 2 slices. I love spicy food however, so it was good. Blue moon pizza's crust isn't too thick so it's a bit healthier in my mind, less carbs. Our server was very attentive so that made this experience a plus. We saw the $5 martini specials on Thursdays and thought that would be fun to come back and try. There's also a private lot which makes parking easy but it can get pretty packed during lunch at times. I would not recommend this location to anyone with allergen concerns. There is a waitress that does not write down any orders and I was very stressed out by it. I told her gluten free pizza with dairy free cheese. I bit into the pizza and the crust was too good to be gluten free. When I asked if it was gluten free she said "you only asked for dairy free". As those with allergies likely know, people constantly tell you that you didn't ask for it, when you absolutely do every time. I like blue moon in general, but if there are going to be servers who don't write things down especially when allergens are involved, it's not safe. read more

The pies were undercooked and absolutely disgusting. You could not pick up a piece without it falling apart because the dough was so raw. Took a picture of one of the pieces. I was contacted by management and offered 2 free pies, so at least they tried. Don't think that quite makes up for the fact that this dough was dangerously undercooked. They also failed to follow cross-contamination protocols; there were allergens in my pizza that only could have gotten there from mishandling of meats. This could have been a far worse experience if the pizza had been cooked properly and I ate more of it, I would have ingested a dangerous amount of allergens. Very poor all around. read more

This had become one of our go to spots on a regular basis. Not anymore. They recently installed a cornhole game on the patio. Parents use this as an excuse to let their kids run wild, throwing the cornhole bags everywhere, and just generally making a lot of noise and disruption. Our last visit there, we ended up getting our pizza to go because it was just too much to deal with.this will not be a regular place of ours as long as the cornhole is there on the patio. The pizza is pretty good, but a bit overpriced. The customer service needs work. If you are a regular customer, no one cares to offer you the blue moon lunar rewards on your visit. Also, the last time I came by, the restroom had vomit on the floor in one stall and the other stall was locked, so I couldn't use the restroom. I asked multiple people if the floor could be cleaned, and it wasn't. One person, a host, admitted to just putting a sign on top of the vomit because "it wasn't her job to clean it up." Umm I ordered pizza from here that was better than coming in. They served me a not so fresh pizza im impressed that it was still good. Top 10 for me but no Antonio's.. great place to watch sports chill with friends or get a bite. Greeted with attitude by the hostess after coming in on a slow Saturday afternoon w/ my co workers after making a reservation. Spoke to a higher up who granted us 1 free appetizer for a table of 9 then was served SPOILED BRUSCHETTA... wtf? They took it away and apologized but that's 2 strong strikes. I guess the staff was rubbed the wrong way because there was a crazy long wait to get waters refilled, 2nd drink orders and our actual food. The pizza was actually really good! I definitely will not be back to this location. I just expect good service and safe food to eat when I'm patronizing an establishment. Hopefully they clean up their act. I've had their pizza before and liked it but was blown away by the grandma pizza, which my sister recommended. This past weekend I made sure to give it a try. We ordered the grandma pizza with pepperoni. The total came to a little over $27 this is including a up charge for the pepperoni. Maybe this is a normal price but it seemed kind of pricey, but anyways I ordered after hearing all the great things about it. I was not disappointed. There was a generous amount of pepperonis and chunks of tomatoes and garlic. It taste amazing!! My husband isn't big on garlic and he loved it. The crust had a nice crisp too it also. Think about that for a second: 1) Their delivery process is a mess and we're looking at a minimum of 2 hours to get an order. 2) They would have let that pizza sit for an hour waiting to be picked up...and still sent it to you, completely cold, without a second thought. The pizza is great, but stay away from their own delivery.
