We came here for dinner one night for a bachelorette party and overall enjoyed it! We had 12 people and they were mostly able to accommodate us - the ordering and paying went smoothly, but they did tell us last minute that they had another group coming and we needed to leave (we understood, but thought it was done in a really rude way and felt abrupt, so I'm docking a star because of that). The food was tasty, although I thought the drinks were sort of meh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is lively, and even though we were sitting in the dining area we caught parts of the show after and loved that![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bride-to-be got a giant slice of cake that we all shared and it was a fun way to top off the meal!

We tried one of there off season special nights; it was pretty good especially for the price. I believe our group also thought it was a good evening out. I started with mozzarella sticks, tasty, others had the mini meatballs and someone had the wedding soup. Entrees were a little hit and miss. I had the veal piccata over pasta, it was acceptable. Someone had it and found it tough . Dessert I went with the tiramisu. It was a 3 course dinner with wine for a set price (it was more like an Italian night menu from the choices they had ). We will try another night before the season specials are over.

We came to Blue Moon this weekend on a recommendation from a friend. We originally had plans to eat at another place but it was unexpectedly closed. We easily gott a Blue Moon reservation about 90 min before we arrived. We arrived about 15 min early and they were able to accommodate us and seat us at that time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated on the porch which I thought would be fun to people watch (of course it never stopped pouring so there wasn't much to watch).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The table itself was very bizarro. It was 2 tables pushed together and could seat 4-5 people even tho there were only of us. Our second table was only about 4" from the next party. I was trapped into my seat with no way to get out unless a server would move the table for me[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Luckily I did not have to use the bathroom. When I inquired about the odd set up the server told me I could use the other table to put any plates I wanted on there. We ordered the fried green tomatoes which we enjoyed. I got the lobster risotto - it was very good. It was not what I expected. The risotto was buttery instead of creamy but it still tasted good. My bf ate the lamb chops which he enjoyed. We both loved the bread and butter - which was flavored w honey and parsley. One thing that was strange - there was a walkway with a shelf behind my bf's seat. The servers kept reaching over my bf's shoulder to bring things to the table instead of walking the 3 extra steps to stand table side. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While we were eating I could hear singing coming from the lounge. After we were done we headed into that lounge. And we had the most enjoyable show!! Autumn Schneider performed an hour long show singing numbers from Broadway shows and telling us about her history performing Broadway. She was extraordinary and we wished we had moved in sooner to see the start of her show. She is a real talent and I give her 5 stars! Will def be back this summer to see her![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great experience! The food was delicious and service was attentive and quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was lovely, not too loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had a show going on but we were seated in the separate main dining area so if the show is not your thing and you prefer a more intimate setting you can choose the quiet area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I highly recommend getting the fried green tomatoes, whether as a starter by itself or as a side as part of the vegetarian entree.

Enjoyed the Tasting Tuesday menu consisting of a 3 course menu paired with wines for only $49. The fried green tomatoes were outstanding. Enjoyed the stuffed shrimp too. The dessert was a mango cheesecake. Enjoyed the wines selected by the server. She was very nice and attentive too! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sat by window, so nice atmosphere![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

If you're looking for great food & great ambience, this is the place for you. On the food side, we started with the roasted oysters appetizer. It was absolutely amazing. So flavorful! For my entree, I had the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat. Wonderfully rich & so tasty. With asparagus included as a side. For my husband's entree, he had the short rib stroganoff. Delicious as well--I had several bites. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We loved the setting as well. The restaurant is located in a grand old house that has class written all over it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We also appreciated that the tables weren't crammed together but were spaced out so we weren't too close to other people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was excellent as well. Our waitress was very attentive & very pleasant.

Make reservations!!! Try to get the main dining room- it's a bit quieter than the back room, which gets sone energy from the bar and/or the drag show. The service? Excellent. Bright friendly. Knowledgeable servers every time! The food? Amazing. Truly. Literally everything we've gotten both main courses and sides of been amazing. My partner had the duck breast which was excellent and succulent. I had the chicken pot pie survey because the server thought it was particularly good. And it was great, and hearty. our apps were excellent crawfish egg rolls; the fried green tomatoes were perfectly cooked- not too soft, not too hard! Prices are 20% above the beach average and worth every penny- especially when compared to that seafood restaurant on Rehoboth Avenue.... :)

Celebrating our wedding anniversary was such a great experience at the. Blue Moon! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat in the "front porch" at a table in front of a window; such a cozy setting![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server, Jessica, was wonderful and helped us narrow down our choices from the delicious menu; her service, personality and humor were wonderful! The food was amazing. The fried green tomato appetizer was confirmed by Jessica as one of the most popular and it was terrific: crispy perfect outside, firm and tasty tomato inside with the savory flavor of the herbed cheese and sweet tender onion jam all coming together beautifully. The stuffed shrimp entree was cooked perfectly with lots of crab stuffing, the creamiest whipped potatoes and smooth beurre blanc, finished with lovely firm asparagus spears. We were so full, but couldn't resist dessert after finding everything else so delicious...so the strawberry tart was fantastic! The berries were sweet and firm, the pastry base was just thick enough to provide structure and had a lovely vanilla flavor, with super smooth sweet creamy custard inside. I live in Virginia and hadn't been to Rehoboth for 40 years, but the Blue Moon will bring me back again after that meal! (We also met a couple at an adjacent table who have been coming to this restaurant every year for over 30 years...they live in Texas!) Thank you Blue Moon for a very memorable dinner!

Relaxed evening spot in downtown Rehoboth with a welcoming vibe. We happened to arrive during a live music performance, which was a lovely surprise. We came to Blue Moon with one thing in mind: the Bombe! A local favorite for 40 years, this monster ice cream layer cake is worth the $20 for the quality ice cream, meringue and chocolate (and the experience!) The dessert coffees were a miss, however. Tasted more like a haphazard mixture of syrups than a soothing coffee to close out a meal. Overall, Blue Moon gets a solid 4/5 for its dessert menu!

Nothing was bad and we really enjoyed every dish. The French onion dip with the caviar and chips was delicious and the broth surrounding the scallop crudo was wonderful as well. The veggies under the salmon were perfect and while the salmon was overcooked it still tasted good. The crab pasta was flavorful without being heavy and the scallop risotto was lovely as well. Service was great with a wonderful waiter whose name I did not get but service was prompt and attentive. Ambiance is very nice, coming from NYC I prefer a small compact restaurant so Drift made me feel right at home. Overall I will 100% be back on my next trip to Rehoboth.

The portion of chips was a nice size to share with two (or even more) people. The guac was smooth and the salsa had a nice spiciness to it. It's very pleasant sitting outside. The music was nice and the crowd was enjoying it. They stopped playing at 7:00 pm, which I thought was a bit early. After the music ended, people started to leave. The Staff were pleasant. Might have considered having more to eat, but virtually everything on the menu sounds like it's fried or blackened. I'm not complaining, it's just an observation. (There is one salad option with chicken or shrimp that appeared not to be fried.). The tacos sounded interesting, too.

It was definitely hotel tasting - pretty sure it was a mix that came out of a package versus actual espresso. The price wasn't bad I just wish I had known what I was going to be paying for but rookie mistake! I do love their boardwalk bar concept though. Very nice view. They had also tried to charge me for 2 lattes when I only ordered 1 but it was corrected. I've had worse for sure but probably would not try again.

We stopped in about 1-2 hours before closing so when we were seated, they informed us of the last call timing for ordering food, dessert and alcohol. The lighting is dim and romantic for sure. The music was a vibe (we overheard it was just a "lounge" playlist but it was a good one! The lightning could have been better - it was a little flashy at times for dinner. When it was time to order, we were stuck between 2 appetizers and ended up taking the waiter's recommendation on the crab Rangoons and are so glad we did. Best we ever had in our entire lives. Made with real crab - makes all the difference! They were soft with a light outer crunch. Perfect consistency! 10/10! I ordered the Pad Thai (slightly less spicy) and I'm glad I did. Our waiter was very informative on how the spice scale here worked and we were appreciative of that! The only issue we had was that it seemed like due to coming later in the evening - the servers were kind of rushing everyone along. They were helping eachother bus tables, take checks, etc and in doing so ran our card for another tables check. The bartender was able to void it in time but they were not super apologetic about it. Again, they were very nice but I think their main concern was just getting out of there at a certain time. We had one of our best meals of the week here and will definitely visit again in the future.

Thereafter, the food on the "Asian Fusion" menu sounds great, but leaves much to be desired. More confusion, than fusion. Dumpling Special is a cool notion (why not save a few bucks?). But, when it arrives without ginseng slivers, nor a spoon for dripping the dark vinegar into the removed top knot to mix with the beef soup within the Xiao Long Bau, it becomes apparent skill is lacking in the kitchen. It doesn't help that these dough pouches are commercially bought and not made by knowing hands. The Singapore Black Pepper Crab bowl was sure Szechuan spicy enough, but had so little crab that my crustacean loving wife turned on her phone flashlight to find some. They were ground so small that they were nearly invisible, but could be slightly tasted by their mild sweetness. Just not enough substance to balance the other ingredients. My Cumin Lamb Ho Fun was likewise deep into the heat and looked good with the fat noodles mixed throughout. However, once again the kitchen's lack of deftness appeared with too many tough, stringy and fatty pieces of lamb that were unpleasant and overbore the generally decent quality of the rest of the dish. From my experience, that only happens when attention isn't paid to the texture of the meat when slicing. Cutting lamb against the grain is a no-no. So, even though I enjoyed the Moon Door entrance, the Bodhi (Enlightenment) name and all the on point Asian decor, it was disappointing that all that spirituality stopped at the kitchen door. 2.5 Shakyamuni-less Stars.
