First off: food is incredible. It's not just hype-it really is soooo good. The first time we went it was smooth sailing. The home fries are a must and same with the biscuits. I knocked off two stars for this reason - we tried to go a second time (again, the food was stellar) and it was a bust. I got on the waitlist while still at our condo, and it was a 20-29 min wait. Perfect. We got there and walked around the shops and I got a text it was delayed like 20 more minutes. No big deal. We were 4th in line, had already waited an hour by now, and got a text that we were removed from the waitlist and we had to start all over if we wanted to eat there. I came to Blueberry Grill due to the amount of reviews on Tiktok. Quite honestly it's more hype than it was worth. The aesthetic of the restaurant was cute, very light and airy. It was clean. We started with the blueberry hush puppies with the blueberry compote. They were so sweet, not recommended for someone with diabetes. We ordered the western steak & egg bowl, a regular eggs with bacon plate (the eggs cooked perfectly but bland) and an omelette. We all agree the food was at least a 6.5/10. It was just ok. It would not be my first recommendation if a friend or family member asked for suggestions. I think the name draws people in more than the food. We paid $109+ with the tip. Today was our final day in Myrtle Beach this summer, and we were determined to find a delicious breakfast. We traveled across the street from our resort into Barefoot Landing, where we decided to rekindle an old flame at the Blueberry's Grill. The BBG is a site to see. A wide, robust outer terrace, overseeing a small pond, and connected to land by way of a draw bridge. Inside, you'll discover the most beautiful decor and ceilings so high you feel like you're in a mansion. You really feel like royalty at the BBG. The greeters are kind and quick to assist. The waiters are educated about the menu, quick to service customers, and worthy of mighty tips. I got a water, freshly squeezed OJ, and a coffee to start. The water was ice cold and fresh, as if collected from the glacier river of North Myrtle. The OJ was so freshly squeezed that I could taste the vitamins and nutrients as they tickled my unworthy taste buds. The coffee. Oh the coffee. The guava. The Joe. The good stuff. Grandma Morgie's sweet bean morning drink. Hot smoke rose from the cup as I tilted it toward my lips. The sweet, heavenly smell sent my nostrils into a tizzy, and the taste sent signals through my body and scratched my brain in all the right places. I had three cups. For breakfast, I chose the blueberry pancakes. I mean, how do you pass on blueberry pancakes at the BBG. When they arrived at the table, my jaw dropped and my eyes bulged out of head. Oh the beauty. Oh, the beauty. The beauty. Beauty. There on my plate sat three large, fluffy pancakes, with just enough crisp on the outside edges to add a bit of chomp chomp goodness. On top of the pancake mountain was a river of blueberry sauce, and at least ten shiny blueberry gems. And at the peak of mountain was the white butter boulder. They provided more blueberry sauce in a cup on the side, and like the silly little boy I am, I dumped the rest on top and watched as it flowed over the pancake mountain like a tsunami of blueberry goodness. Oh sweet baby blueberry it was delicious. The pancakes so soft and fluffy and delicious. The blueberry sauce and blueberry were so fresh and wonderful. What a dream. I had to pinch myself 67 times to make sure that it wasn't a dream. No. This was no dream. It was real life. So delicious. I said it once , and I'll say it again. When here for breakfast and came out thinking it's like another other breakfast spot. I had two eggs I asked for over-medium and somehow it came out one egg was over-medium and the other was over-easy. Secondly the sausage came out dry. After arriving in MB, Blueberry's grill was first stop to grab some brunch. It's super popular, so expect a long waiting time 20-30 minutes. But they notify via text so we went to nearby stores after entering our name. The restaurant is very nice inside, with giant bar in the middle and lots of merchandise goods scattered around. They have lots of outdoor seating too. The menu has lots of good brunch items including burgers, omelets, benedicts and sandwiches. I got the steak chimi with eggs. Steak was fine, the chimi sauce was good and eggs cooked nicely. Ate some pancake and egg benedict for others, both were excellent. The service was really nice. Friendly staff. A group of 6 + a toddler had breakfast here on Sunday Oct 27. We were seated upon arrival and waitress was at the table within 5 minutes. She was pleasant and answered everyone's questions. As a first timer myself, the menu is quite extensive but not overwhelming. The portion sizes were large and can easily be shared if you're not too hungry. I love they have fresh pressed juices with an extensive drink menu that includes mimosas, Bloody Mary's, etc. We enjoyed several different items and everyone was pleased with their choices. The pancakes were very flavorful and it's not the same batter used for the waffles. The pancakes were good, but you have to try the waffles they're GREAT! The corned beef hash was really good as well as the cinnamon roll French toast. The crab cake eggs Benedict was a huge portion of lump crab meat and nicely seasoned. The 'Mickey Mouse' pancake was a nice touch to make for the toddler. However, if there's any criticism the restaurant is considered to be family friendly which means it should have a dedicated kid's menu. It was disappointing there weren't any items designated for kids except for the pancake which was very large for a toddler. To the owners...create a kids menu. The restaurant had ample space and music was playing which created a lively inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend you get on the waitlist ahead of time otherwise be prepared to wait. read more

When we walked in it was much bigger than I expected. It was very clean and bright. We were quickly seated. Coffee and waters were quickly brought to the table. The coffee was weak but I had a few cups so I guess that evens it out some. The menu was pretty straightforward. As the name implies there are a few blueberry dishes. I went with the blueberry pancakes. They were pretty good and super filling! I wish there would have been more blueberries in the actual pancakes but they were still pretty good. The blueberry sauce on the side was delicious. Service was fine. It is a little pricey for what you get but overall I would recommend it. I would also gladly come back. read more

We also started with their Southern Hush Puppies, and they were a treat -- golden cornmeal fritters, warm and soft inside, dusted with powdered sugar and served with a luscious blueberry compote and whipped honey butter. We opted for outside seating, as it was a beautiful morning. There were many seats outside, some under umbrellas, and the whole scene was bustling with conversation. Jameson was our waiter and from the moment he took our drink order, until we paid the check, it felt like we were in capable hands. this is the first restaurant we've been to in a while where it felt like people wanted to be there and everyone was having a good time. I had the Crab Cake Benedict and the egg oozed perfectly and the Hollandaise was excellent (could've used a touch more lemon for that tangy kick.) It was absolutely delicious and hugely portioned. I ended up taking part of it, along with my side of cheesy grits, home to eat later. The remoulade served alongside was interesting, but it didn't quite mix with my Benedict. I suggest leaving it off. My partner had the Classic Benedict and he ordered it with sourdough toast (huge slices) and a side of cheese grits. Again, the portion was huge. I would absolutely go again. It felt like we fit in with the hustle and bustle, rather than standing out as a tourist. We both left with smiles on our faces and ready to take on the day. read more

The food here was super good! We came with a party of 12 and were seated in less than 10 minutes, which was impressive. I ordered the French toast and also tried the smoked salmon--both were delicious and came with very generous portions. I really loved it here! The restaurant was a bit packed, and the tables were pretty close together, but honestly, I didn't mind since I was so focused on enjoying my food. I barely needed to get up! The only downside was the service. Our waiter didn't check on us much during the meal. I dropped my fork and waited about 20 minutes for help, but thankfully I had a spoon to keep eating in the meantime. If the service had been more attentive, this would've easily been a 5-star experience. Overall, still a really nice visit, and I'd definitely recommend it! read more
