What a nice breakfast spot. I met up with family for breakfast and arrived a little early so I had the chance to see the staff in action. They were very polite and kept busy making sure customers were well taken care of. They don't seat incomplete parties, so keep that in mind. I ordered the Mexican Skillet. It had potatoes smothered with chorizo, beans, onions, green chili, and eggs. It also came with a tortilla. It was pretty good! The chili and chorizo weren't too spicy and the scrambled eggs were light and fluffy. They also have pretty good coffee. It got busy by the time we left, so get there early. read more

This is possibly one of the best brunch spots in the area. The food is delicious, the staff is nice, and the food is reasonably priced and you get a lot of food for the price. The kale juice was delicious and super tasty. It's a nice way to start the day and get your dose of good nutrients to fuel the day. I ordered the bacon avocado scramble and it was delicious. The potatoes are cooked well and they don't taste burnt. The English muffins were yummy. They tasted like a salted butter was added to it and it was just an extra dose to deliciousness. read more

Our first time to the Bluebird Cafe was great and we hope to be back soon! We ate brunch fairly early on a Monday so service was quick which was nice. Our waiter didn't say his name but he was friendly and on top of drink refills and gave us time to just sit and chat since they weren't very busy. The decorations and overall atmosphere is charming and everything was clean. Cute ambiance for sure. I had the pineapple coconut pancake with scrambled eggs and bacon. The pancake was huge and had plenty of coconut and pineapple. The vanilla cream sauce with it was yummy too. My husband had the huevos rancheros with green chili and added chorizo. He said it was delicious and that the chorizo was pretty spicy. He was also raving about the seasoned potatoes side as well. Stop here for breakfast or lunch, you won't be disappointed! I ordered a breakfast option that included bacon, sausage and ham. I asked to get extra bacon instead of sausage because I don't care for sausage much. When I got my food I got only bacon. The server took away my ham also. And then the bacon was extremely salty. I almost felt like pouring my water on the bacon to rinse off the salt. Very disappointing experience this time. read more

Deeeelicious food for cheap! We had a party of 3 at 11:15 on Saturday, 10/1/22. There was a 35 minute wait. I got the Chocolate Chip Pancake with Scrambled Eggs, add cheese, and Turkey Sausage ($10.69 + $1.39 (I think) for the cheese). The pancake was amaaaaaazing. The scrambled eggs were great! I could've done without the turkey sausage though. It was sooo much food and I had enough to take some to home. My husband got the Bacon Avocado Scramble ($11.29) and he really enjoyed it! It was a lot of food! I tried the potatoes and they were suuuuper good. Perfectly crispy and seasoned. My cousin got the Oatmeal Pancake with Scrambled Eggs and Bacon ($10.79). She loooved the oatmeal pancake. The service was great! Farrah was our waitress and she was lovely. Bluebird was fantastic. Really good food and service! We tried to come Saturday around 9am but the wait was longer than we had time for so we had to leave. But we came back today (Monday) and asked to sit outside. They were able to accommodate our party of four quickly. Our server was fantastic!!! Attentive, kind, very knowledgeable about the menu and options. We had Veggie Benedict, Crab Benedict, Classic Benedict, and Egg-ceptional omelet. We all loved everything we had! The portions were good, the food was fresh and delicious. The standout was the fried potatoes served with the biscuits and gravy. They were perfectly seasoned with garlic and dill. The biscuits and gravy were excellent as well, the gravy was studded with bits of sausage. The eggs were perfectly cooked and it was really obvious that they are skilled at plating and presentation. From the moment you enter and are welcomed warmly, greeted like an old friend by the server and have a delicious meal better than what mom made you know you are in the right place! I stopped into this cafe for breakfast driving back north from the Denver airport. If you're in the same position, it's a quick drive off the Thornton Parkway exit on I-25 for a breakfast that's not just your standard chain. I got a veggie benedict and coffee. Both were good. The price points are a little higher even for a higher-end breakfast as the veggie benedict with potatoes was $10-$11 and coffee $3.25. Portions were sufficient but not huge as can sometime be the case at certain breakfast spots. The restaurant was very clean, staff kind, and all doing their best to follow COVID protocols. The price points for what it is are the only reason I label it a 4-star rather than 5-star. Otherwise, a good experience especially if you find yourself on a morning drive on I-25. read more
