    Almond butter and banana toast
    Ryen B.

Coffee shop inside the Moxy lobby. I was staying at the hotel and the rate included an $18 f/b credit to be used on property. Oatmilk latte and banana toast + tip comes to just a bit over $18. Latte was tasty, toast was a nice thick slice with almond butter, sliced banana, and cinnamon. Healthy, filling start to the day. Friendly staff and quick service on an early weekday morning.

    Morning must.

Quick and easy coffee shop in the lobby at the moxy downtown LA. Small selection of pasties and coffee for a quick morning boost.

Great coffee and pastries! They also have some light breakfast bites as well! Enjoyed our experience. They were busy as it's connected right to the hotel lobby, but were all super nice. Not much seating within the coffee shop, but lots of seating in the hotel lobby. I hope to try a chocolate croissant next! The iced vanilla latte was great!

Pretty pricey for a very small items ambience was not bad, but Wish that the food and prices were more reasonable, but the coffee I had does taste good. Was planning on getting a small coffee in the quesadilla came out so almost $18 But the people inside were nice and no big issues for me.

We stayed at the Moxy Hotel and received breakfast credit at Bluestone Lane. It was just okay. The avocado toast was good, but the coffee could have been better. The selection is pretty limited, the service was attentive.

I had a lovely time where when across the street at the LA convention center for comic con! I came around 1 pm and despite being a little busy, they still offered great service and were upbeat and friendly. I ordered the mocha with oat milk which was reasonably priced for the quality. I could really taste the pureness of the beans and it was so well balanced. The mocha wasn't overly sweet yet still rich and decadent. They frothed the oat milk perfectly to be so creamy and luscious. It really gave me some great energy to help me last throughout the day. This is part of the Moxy hotel but you can enter it from Figueroa. They have a fun vibrant lounge you can sit at your enjoy your drink and it's clean and comfy! There's street parking at the surrounding streets with meters available nearby.

Price gouging juice $13 not even listed on menu

Disappointed and ripped off. I understand location is by convention center but this is price gouging. I paid $13 for pressed juice and another $13 for a tiny burrito that was cold on the inside. Convention goers and Tourists avoid this trap that camoflouge itself as a Pick up and Go spot.

Cappuccino. They shake mocha powder on top!

This coffee shop was in the lobby of our hotel so you know it was our go-to for a caffeine and breakfast fix. My husband enjoyed the green tea and I enjoyed the cappuccino. The espresso is strong which I prefer. Both drinks were very good. The avocado toast hit the spot every time too. Customer service was very friendly which is always appreciated.

PAPER-FLAVORED COFFEE... eww. So I was unpleasantly surprised when I stopped by for a cup of coffee. My paper straw in my cold brew began to immediately dissolve when it was given to me! The coffee was already too bitter, add a paper taste, and I felt like I was drinking out of a recycling bin. I'm a major supporter of protecting our environment, but get good quality paper straws next time Bluestone. Service was okay, the staff seemed very stressed out and were short with a few of the Moxy guests and Anime Expo attendees. The place was busy and moderately noisy. I had a quick question about my breakfast sandwich that went missing and one of the girls cut me off. The dude who made the sandwiches was nice and the manager at the register was pleasant. I ordered a egg and greens sandwich, it was fine but the Vegemite spread on the bread kind of ruined it. I'm definitely not asking for a straw next time, nor am I asking for a Nitro Cold Brew or the egg and greens LOL. I'll come back as the baked treats looked amazing. This is overall a very convenient location as it's attached to the Moxy and right across the street from the Los Angeles Convention Center!

Not that impressed by this place. I stopped by while waiting for my car to be serviced down the street. For over $7 this matcha should be much better. It isn't really that good. The service was fast/friendly and the space connected to the hotel was nice. I probably wouldn't come back though, and had I read other reviews I likely wouldn't have gone at all.

Yelp Review 2023 #230: At the lobby of Moxy Hotel, you'll find Bluestone Lane Coffee. If you're staying at Moxy or AC Hotel or maybe going to the convention center, this is a convenient coffee shop to grab a snack and something to drink. But if you're in a hurry, do not come here because they're quite slow even when they're not busy...and sometimes, they forget to give you your order and you have to follow up more than twice. If you're ordering a hot drink like tea or coffee or something from the display (muffin, croissant, danish, yogurt) then, you'll get it quicker. But if you order hot food or an iced drink, expect to wait 20-30 minutes because they're busy chatting. What we ordered that took so long: Spring Trellis Cold Brew Iced Tea (hibiscus) Avocado Toast Bacon, Egg & Cheese Croissant Iced Peppermint Tea Here's what went wrong: First follow up (15-20 minutes after placing my order): The lady behind the counter forgot to steep the bag of tea in hot water. My croissant sandwich was ready. Second follow up (5 minutes from first follow up): the same lady was chatting it up with other people behind the counter and had just steeped the tea. 5 more minutes later: my iced tea was finally ready and the ice melted within seconds.

I came here for two consecutive days because I found that the quality of their food and coffee exceeded my expectations. The service was also very friendly and the environment was clean. There were activities across the street these days so there were long queues at their Cafe shop every morning. It is really great that they can maintain such a standard!

So I looked for a coffee spot closer to the restaurant at which I could do some work. Alibi Coffee is only 10-15 minutes from the restaurant, which made it a good candidate--and off I went. It sits on the corner of Washington and Raymond Avenue. While there's one-hour parking on Washington, Raymond seems to offer unlimited parking (other than street cleaning days)--the friendly, helpful barista directed me over there. Inside, it's a tranquil, clean and comfortable environment that mixes contemporary touches with brick industrial vibes. I'm in my cream top era, so I decided to get their Trademark Cream Top Latte, which uses cold brew and house made cream with a hint of brown sugar. The drink was smooth and not too sweet and, all in all, extremely enjoyable. Next time, I might try the Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte. I was warned it was a bit sweeter, but I'd like to see for myself. Wi-Fi seems solid, and there are plenty of outlets (yay!), so this was a great work spot. I'd definitely return anytime I needed to be in this area.

[Parking]: The coffee shop has a free designated parking lot which I actually appreciate since parking is not easy to come by in this part of the neighborhood. There is a section where the cafe has various albums hanging on the wall. [Menu]: Some of the highlighted items to order here are Mason Latte, Hojicha Latte, and Brisket Burrito. The green sauce was very vinegary with a slightly spicy kick. The burrito itself was not bad as it had all the right ingredients. It took about 10 minutes for the kitchen to prepare this order. Mason Latte (Double shot Espresso, whole milk, homemade brown butter caramel, sea salt - iced $7.75): This drink had to be mixed and shaken first. A solid latte and not too sweet. The flavor was a tad light, but not bad. *** While no food or drink in particular made this place stand out among all other amazing coffee shops in Los Angeles, this is still a solid all-around coffee shop in my book. A big thumbs up on good interior vibe and easy parking.

So we decided to come here for coffee or tea and ended up having a really nice time. I used to come here quite often about four years ago. Back then, I really liked their Einspänner and ordered it several times. But the last time I came, I thought it was way too sweet, so I hadn't been back since. It had actually been a REALLY long time since I last visited. And when I used to come here four years ago, I always came in the morning or around lunchtime. Last night was my first time ever coming here at night. My friend told us that they are open until midnight, so that's why we decided to come here after dinner. I had heard that parking here can be a nightmare because there aren't enough parking spaces and people have a hard time finding a spot. But once again, my parking luck was AMAZING! A car pulled out right in front of me just as I arrived, so I was able to park very easily. Another friend arrived later than I did, and she said she couldn't find a parking spot at all. She drove around for quite a while looking for one before finally finding street parking. Last night, we also had some tiramisu, and since I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine, I decided to have a caffeine-free ade instead of coffee or tea. It was a little sweet for my taste, but it was ok. We sat outside on the outdoor patio and talked and talked and talked. We had such a fun time together! However, it was actually pretty cold outside last night. I remember thinking that it felt surprisingly chilly. But what was even crazier was how FREEZING cold it was inside the café! They had the air conditioning turned up so high that both my friends and I felt like we were going to freeze to death. The restroom is inside, and I also went inside to get some water, so I mentioned to one of the male employees that it was freezing inside. He told me that they didn't feel cold at all because they were working, and that THEY were actually feeling really hot. I went back to our table and told my friends what he had said, and they were like, "WHAT?! We're freezing to death over here!" The parking lot here is actually pretty large, so I was wondering why it was so difficult to find a parking spot. Apparently, at night, the left side is the café, while on the right side there is a bar where people can drink and also play games. There was a huge line of people waiting outside the bar last night, so I'm guessing that's probably why the parking lot gets so crowded and it's hard to find a spot. It was also pretty chilly outside last night because of the low temperature, so one thing I wished they had on the outdoor patio was heaters. That would have made sitting outside much more comfortable on a cold night.

My sister got the MANGO MATCHA DUO with oat milk and absolutely loved it. My sister's coworker tried the SPARKLING YUZU MATCHA and said it was delicious! She loved that the yuzu flavor wasn't overpowering and said the matcha tasted very high quality. We also got the STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE MATCHA DUO because it was recommended as one of their top picks. We gave it to another one of her coworkers, and she finished it so quick! She said it tasted like a dessert and raved about how delicious and amazing it was! There's seating area in front of the café and as well as inside. The inside is really cute and had a nice atmosphere. The best time to go is early in the morning when open.
