I've moved 9 times in LA, and I'm so glad I finally found a moving company I can stick with! I chose Blvd Moving, and it was honestly the smoothest move I've ever had. Huge shoutout to David and Jahiro, they were amazing. They were fast, efficient, and professional. I didn't have enough moving boxes, but they came prepared with extra boxes and packing supplies and helped pack and wrap everything. They took incredible care of all of my furniture--everything was wrapped multiple times, and not a single piece ended up with a scratch or ding. You could tell they genuinely cared about protecting my belongings. They were some of the nicest, friendliest movers I've ever met and made what is usually a stressful day feel easy. Whenever I move again, I'll definitely be calling Blvd Moving. I couldn't recommend them more!

*** Update - sadly the arrival was not as stellar as the send off. I will provide photos of the mangled, stained boxes, and broken items soon. The cross country movers do not treat the items with the same care as the packers. :/ In addition to costs added on which about doubled the price. We'll see how easily the claims get filled and paid. *** We used BLVD Movers today and they were AMAZING! Jaime and his partner were so pleasant and caring for the items. Edge guards for all the wooden furniture, lots of blankets, plastic wrap, and tape. We're super confident in the protective measures they took. The bonus was how impressed they were with our packing skills and how easy it was to move everything. The key is to pack your boxes tight so they don't jiggle and there are no gaps. Have all boxes of similar dimension so they can be stacked easily. Anyway, they came a little early so that was good and it allowed us to go on with our day after. The actual estimation once they came and viewed the additional items was more than expected but after reading other company reviews that seems to be the norm. We will update once the items reach the end destination but so far working with the company, photo and video sharing, the estimation with even adding items, and especially the movers were awesome. Thank you BLVD Moving.

Thank you for picking up my belongings to move out of state. Mike and his team were fantastic and very efficient. Them wrapped my belongings especially my mattress and adjustable base. They boxed it and wrapped it perfectly. I was amazed watching them work their magic. They cleaned up everything and made sure I was satisfied. I had some items that needed special attention and they made it happen. Thank you all

This company is an absolute scam, please do not trust them with your money or your possessions. I hired them for a move from Oklahoma City to Denver and below are the reasons why I would never ever hire them again:   1. They charged me an additional $400 the day before deliver where I had no choice but to pay it * They held my items until I paid them the "additional charges" they demanded and did not uphold the original "binding estimate" they gave me. 2. My items were broken * My boxes arrived with 4 of my frames broken, a hole in the back of my dresser, and a support beam in my couch is unfixable (see pictures attached for reference.) 3. They didn't deliver in the window they told me * The window was 2-10 days from the pick-up date and they delivered on the 13th day. They also did a terrible (I mean absolutely terrible) job of communicating when they would deliver.   From start to finish, my experience with this company was awful. My "agent" (Brent Sanchez) would redirect every question and concern I have to where they never got resolved. I have used the moving company MiniMoves in the past for long distance moves and I will definitely be going back to them.

WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! Today, June 20th, 2026, my family's nightmare with Blvd Movers finally came to an end--and what we discovered was absolutely devastating!!! My 84-year-old mother and father sold their home and moved to Florida to begin their retirement years. After spending a lifetime building a home and accumulating the possessions they cherished, they entrusted everything they owned to Blvd Movers. That trust was met with excessive delays, poor communication, unnecessary stress, and ultimately devastation. Blvd Movers picked up their belongings on May 14th and did not deliver them until June 20th--more than FIVE WEEKS later!!! During that time, my elderly parents were forced to live in their new home with virtually nothing. They slept on a borrowed mattress, watched a tiny television, and ate meals at a small folding table while waiting endlessly for the belongings they had spent a lifetime accumulating. The emotional toll this took on them was enormous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What should have been one of the happiest moments of their lives turned into weeks of stress, uncertainty, frustration, and heartbreak!!! The furniture was definitely moved off a truck and moved onto another truck. That's also why it took so long to get down here and they couldn't find it. They didn't know where it was! They couldn't find the furniture!!! Throughout this ordeal, we dealt with Paul in sales and Dave, the owner. Instead of receiving answers and accountability, we were left dealing with delays, confusion, disappointment, and a complete lack of transparency, to say the least. After finally arriving today, payment was demanded BEFORE a single item was unloaded. We were told to pay first or they were going to drive away with my parents' belongings still on the truck!!! Then came the most devastating part. As the furniture came off the truck, we were horrified. Furniture and personal belongings arrived damaged, broken, and in shocking condition. After waiting all this time, this is what my parents were forced to receive!!! This was the condition my parents were left with!!!!!!!!!! Watching my elderly mother and father finally get their belongings back after more than a month of waiting, only to discover damage to the possessions they trusted this company to transport, was absolutely heartbreaking. This entire experience was a complete disaster from start to finish--outrageous delays, endless stress, pressure for payment, damaged property, and a complete lack of care for a family trusting them with a lifetime of belongings. If I could give NEGATIVE STARS, I would!!!!! I would strongly urge anyone considering this company to NEVER use Blvd Movers... EVER!!! There are not enough words to describe the disappointment, anger, and devastation this experience caused my family. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL!!! -- A REAL REVIEW FROM A REAL FAMILY June 20th, 2026

***If you are a victim of BLVD, I URGE you to write about your experience and help other avoid this company*** I advise you to look them up on BBB and see that I am one of hundreds they've lied to, bullied into increasing their cost the day of pick up, damaged belongings, stole items of value, the list goes on. Do not go with this company across state lines or at all. Not only do they store your things for over a month, but once they do deliver most everything you trusted them with is broken, damaged, or obliterated. I shared only a few pictures because we have over 100 pictures of items they broke. Most of our kitchen items, mugs, glasses, wine glasses, my Ninja Slushi, blender, and Creami does not work, my stand alone mixer, damaged our dining table, my Cricut machine no longer opens, the computer desk was damaged beyond repair, most all of our picture frames, gifts and keepsakes that I've had since I was a child from loved ones that are no longer with me, many items that are irreplaceable and no longer made that had sentimental value, lost the power cords to all of our TVs, the controls as well, and the majority of our storage totes that are pretty sturdy. They broke and destroyed over 80 items totaling $7,196.17 and took zero accountability. It was like they were seeing who could drop our items the hardest. We called very upset and were directed to speak to Tina Talman. She told us she would help us and was sorry this was our experience because they strive for quality and care. She instructed us to text her pictures of the items and she would resolve it for us. I did as she instructed and texted her March 21, 2026. She has not responded to the text or any of our calls or emails and she is a manager with this company. Our experience was so depressing and then Tina Talman added insult to injury by effectively ignoring us. Why would any of them care about our experience or fixing it? They got paid and that seems to be all that matters to them. They WILL destroy your belongings. They WILL make you jump through hoops to try and discourage you from completing the process when all you're trying to do is replace your damaged items. They WON'T refund the cost of destroyed belongings. Hire them at your own detriment.

LA to MIA move. Quote: $9,452. Final payment: $11,420 -- over $2,000 more than agreed. No receipts, no paperwork for any additional charges. All verbal, all deliberate. They broke my furniture, lost two boxes of irreplaceable items, left trash piled at my front door, and damaged the property itself--breaking a closet door in an apartment I had not yet spent a single night in. Their resolution: $0.60 per pound. The moment your belongings are on their truck, you are no longer a customer. You are leverage. One person runs their claims department. She was out for a week, delaying my claim. After filing, I waited 30 days with zero follow-up. Federal complaint filed with the FMCSA. This is a predatory company that uses deliberate disorganization to extract money and avoid accountability. Do not use them. **UPDATE** Company Response: BLVD responded publicly stating they cannot locate my move. For the record: I have been emailing claims@blvdmoving.com since April 17, 2026 under Order #80005373. They have my full name, phone number, job number, and a detailed settlement demand. This case is not lost - it is being avoided. The FMCSA complaint was filed for regulatory violations - undisclosed fees, no receipts, and misrepresentation of services. My CSI claim is active and in progress.

Worst experience of my life stole my safe, files with all our titles for 3 cars and a boat , birth certificates, Trashed the house and when I confronted them they said" this is how we're suppose to do it for people like you" no idea what they meant by that but it was rude and uncalled for.didn't update the delivery address and delivered to wrong address then charged us another 1500 to deliver to the correct address, missing a few of my boxes, didn't want to take everything that was suppose to be listed told us we will make a new list and comeback next day for another 2400.00 lots of damaged furniture Police report filed for the missing legal documents and my safe. Has anyone used blvd moving to move across the country? If so, how was this experience? Thanks.

Thank you again!! I do not recommend this business! I moved from California to Oregon, so I chose to utilize their full packing service in addition to the 1,000 mile journey to my new home. The team of five arrived promptly and took about six hours to pack everything inside and load it into their truck. My husband thought to put a tracker in one of his items and this is where the confusion and lack of communication began. We never got a straight answer on this given the singular phone call in two weeks, but from what we saw on the tracker our stuff made 5-10 stops across Los Angeles and San Francisco during the week that we had assumed they would be driving. Our best guess is that they were unloading and reloading everything into a bigger truck to accommodate more items (and more $$). They packed us on July 26th and I gave my first available delivery date as August 2nd. After the initial contact on the move out day, I didn't hear a single word from them until August 4th after trying desperately to get ahold of anyone at the company. Does anyone actually work here? I only ever received emails from "Jim," but he would stop responding as soon as I asked for a phone call. I feel you would have happier customers if you OVER communicated, given that you have most of their worldly possessions. On top of the complete lack of customer service, the team packed our household items terribly. Nothing is labeled, items from rooms in a bunch of different boxes, several items broken or lost or wrapped up in a shoddy fashion - which is making unpacking an absolute nightmare. The company also just hires random local people to unpack the truck (two men and one older woman- peculiar choice), so while they were helpful they had no idea what each item was. Since we were all totally clueless, it took double the time to unwrap/unbox every single thing. We were moved in on August 8th; the sixth day. I'm now realizing they do this on purpose with their "7 day guarantee," so take that into account if booking. I would urge you to look elsewhere, as Pure Movers was not worth the enormous $15k price tag for me.

Do Not Reccomend, be warned…read more I hired this company because of its strong reviews and was willing to pay more for a professional, efficient move. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. I paid about $1,650 before tip, roughly $1,800 total, and ended up with damaged furniture, a damaged wall, a broken TV stand, and an excessively long move. Two of the three movers appeared to speak almost no English, and the third spoke limited English and had to translate for the others. The issue was that the crew could not reliably understand or follow instructions. Several times I made specific requests and was told "OK, OK," only for the crew to continue doing exactly what I had asked them not to do. At one point I had to repeat myself about five times and finally stop them and insist they change the loading order. It should not require an argument to get movers to follow a clear instruction. I own expensive Stickley furniture and other high-end pieces and explicitly told the crew that several items needed exceptional care. I repeatedly asked for more padding and blankets because certain pieces were not adequately protected. On at least two occasions I specifically asked for another blanket, and the mover simply repositioned the existing blankets and kept wrapping. When the furniture was unwrapped, I found scuffs on leather, scratches and chips in wood, marks on my TVs, a broken leg on my nearly new TV stand, and damage to several other pieces. The problem seemed less like laziness and more like lack of experience, organization, and leadership. The time reinforces that concern. My previous move involved significantly more belongings, more preparation by the movers, and a destination about 30 minutes farther away. It also used three movers and was completed in about 5.5 hours, including double drive time. Based on that, I expected this smaller move to take about four hours, five at the absolute most. Instead, it took about eight. Everything except furniture was already packed, I had removed many fragile and awkward items myself, and I had reserved a loading area and dedicated elevator. Even so, individual trips between the apartment and truck were taking roughly 20 minutes despite the distance being only about 32 steps each way. I expected roughly $800-$1,000 plus tip. Instead, I paid about $1,650 plus tip. In my estimation, I paid at least $650-$800 more because of the crew's inefficiency and lack of experience. The most unacceptable incident involved damage to my old apartment. Near the end of the load-out, I found a substantial fresh gouge/chip next to an electrical outlet. I immediately brought it to the movers' attention, and they denied causing it. I had plugged my vacuum into that exact outlet and vacuumed the area no more than ten minutes earlier. The damage was not there then, and it was there after the movers worked there. Damage can happen during a move. What bothered me was being told something that repeatedly that, was plainly not credible. I contacted the company immediately and sent photos. I had to follow up repeatedly before being told the claims department would contact me. The following business day came and went without contact, leaving me to address the damage with my landlord. There was also an issue with the drive between locations. Before leaving, the lead mover and I compared Google Maps and both showed about 29 minutes. The truck then took a different route and arrived about 11 minutes later. Because the company charges double drive time, that effectively became about 22 billable minutes @ 200 per hour. The workers were personable and they did work. My criticism is that the company sent a crew that appeared inadequately trained, inadequately supervised, inefficient, unable to communicate effectively, and unable or unwilling to follow clear instructions regarding expensive property. I chose this company because its reviews made me believe paying a premium would buy professionalism, efficiency, and care. That is not what I received. I would not use this company again and cannot recommend them

Our experience was just terribly awful. BE WARNED is these scammers. A quote originally given to us (move from the Central Valley to San Diego) after giving them a full tour of the house via video with all the rooms shown, furniture details etc , THEIR INITIAL QUOTE WENT UP FROM 3.5k to 7k on the day of move!!! With already 500$ down as an initial deposit and ready to move on that day (for work) We were placed in a very tight spot. This is for a small family of 2 adults and a toddler. They changed their price on us once they loaded the trucks and once they realized we had a special needs kiddo and were in a time crunch- moving for job, they took advantage of our situation. The owner/ person who gave us the initial quote was not available over the phone despite several calls since "he was on vacation and had no access". The loaders/ workers said they couldn't budge on the price and the only person to speak to was their boss who couldn't be reached. We were left scrambling, trying to get cash from the bank / atm with cash limits and the banks were closed for the weekend. Ended up borrowing from friends and family to come up with the difference. On top, they told us they will absolutely not wait for us and charge us $100 per 30 minutes if we were late and they got to San Diego before us. A very inconsiderate and immoral company. When owner finally did get back to us 2 days later after the move to address the huge quote difference. His response was I will give you a discount on your next move. Like we would ever even consider them again. I would stay away from these scammers as far away as possible.

I contacted NorthStar about three weeks before I was set to move. The entire pre-moving process was…read moreeasy and efficient. We set up a video call to review the pieces of furniture that needed to be moved and number of boxes. They sent over an estimate which was reasonable. When the day of the move came, I was shocked at how careful and quickly the guys wrapped and loaded the truck. They treated everything with more care than some of my junky stuff deserved. It was a hot day (90+) but the guys didn't let that slow them down. They packed up a two bedroom apartment in a little under 3 hours. When I met them at the new place they put everything in the right place and reassembled tables and desks. Moving is always stressful so I'm incredibly happy I called NorthStar!

I was referred to this company by a friend and had a great experience with them, so I was honestly…read moreshocked that mine was the complete opposite. I filled out the online form and got a call shortly after. They told me I had to schedule a virtual meeting before getting any estimate, but the earliest meeting was two days away and my move was happening only a few days later. Because timing was tight, I simply asked if they could give me a rough hourly rate or general range. I already knew how many movers I likely needed, what size truck I was looking for, and had spoken with many similar moving companies and knowing what they usually offer. Instead, the salesperson basically told me it could be "$2,000 or $10,000" without asking any questions to narrow anything down. When I said I needed to check my calendar because the proposed meeting time was difficult, she became impatient and rushed me for an answer. I explained that I had other appointments and might need to pass because of the timing -- and before I could even finish my sentence, she hung up on me. That was extremely rude and honestly shocking. Regardless of pricing or availability, basic customer service means letting someone finish speaking before hanging up. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to trust them with an actual commercial move. !!Be cautious!!

UPDATE: How do you know a company cares? When the president of the company replies to your yelp…read morereview, and gets the issue resolved by the end of the day! Thank you so much Ross and crew!! I HIGHLY recommend Roadway Moving! The experience with Roadway started off great! They were attentive, and the personal care for our move was so nice. We loved our movers and they took amazing care of our belongings! UNTIL... the moving truck hit the gate at my boyfriends apartment building. At first they were great about it. Someone reached out and took all the information, reached out to the management company of the building etc. The management company sent a quote to Roadway for the damage, and we thought everything was in the works, and all would be taken care of. Well, its been over a month since our move, and after MANY emails, texts and phone calls we have not heard a PEEP from Roadway. This is unbelievably unprofessional, frustrating, and SO disappointing after the move itself was such a great experience. I am writing this review to hopefully get the attention of someone at Roadway, and get this taken care of immediately. Understandably the building wants to get this fixed, and supposedly someone from Roadway is suppose to come and asses the damage...but we have never heard from anyone. They are holding my boyfriends security deposit, and now I am afraid that if they get it fixed without roadways physical assessment of the damage, that roadway won't cover the damages at all and we will get stuck paying for it. THIS SUCKS. Time to step up Roadway! ....and step up they did! Great customer service!
