Awful company. Lured us in with lies of "One Team, One Truck," and "Military Discount," and "2-14 days for delivery." Here we are almost a month after pack-up, our stuff hasn't left the state it was packed in yet. We're way past 14 days, even counting the holidays and no delivery date in sight, let alone a departure date. I've been told for the last two weeks that our items would be getting shipped out - hasn't happened yet. Not only did two trucks show up to pack up our stuff, but the team that packed it (who were excellent local contractors btw) definitely is not the team delivering our stuff on a completely different truck. The military discount disappeared as soon as they told us how much cu ft of goods we had - there were no discounts. Required money orders on pickup instead of credit card, but didn't tell us till 6pm on a Friday. Told us our shipment would be delayed if we didn't pay. The company shipping our goods halfway across the country is called Safeway shipping - it's not even the same company, let alone one team and one truck. They also suck horribly. This company is a dumpster fire and has lied it's way through our every interaction. Still waiting for our stuff to ship almost a month later - not expecting delivery for another month. I had hired Blvd Moving to pick up, wrap, and ship 19 fragile wax life size figures from California to Arizona. I made arrangements with Carlos and then spoke with Brian, who walked me through the contract and process. I was quoted a price and signed a contract. The items were carefully packed and shipped to the delivery location. I was contacted by Ismael, the day before delivery and again the morning before delivery. The was figures were carefully delivered and Ismael and his crew treated everything carefully. I can't be more pleased with the service, communication and treatment of these fragile figures. The contract was honored, the communication was always clear and everyone I dealt with did everything to make this shipment efficient. THE WORST! I would give them no stars if I could. At first, everything seemed great. I booked my move a month ahead of time, as soon as my escrow began. I checked back via email and phone calls to make sure they didn't forget about me, and everything was on schedule. I was assured it was a go for the date we discussed. THEN, the day before my move, they called to tell me they were coming late in the afternoon instead of the 7-10am plan we had on the contract I signed. This would put us into the wee hours of the next morning, as it was a 2 hour drive to my new home. After a heated conversation with a nasty woman in their office, they said they could come the next morning, so out of panic (because I had to be out of my apartment) I agreed. The head guy called at 8:00am-ish, to say they were 40 minutes away. They showed up at 9:45am. They stood around and talked for a bit then got to work, and shortly later, I hear my furniture falling down the stairs. Nothing was said by them. No apology...nothing. I told them that all the furniture would eventually go in the garage when we arrived at the new house, but to bring everything else inside, as the boxes were labeled where to be put...i.e...kitchen, bathroom, etc. When we pulled up to the house, the head guy comes up to me (still in my car) asking for payment before they unload. He showed me the final price and it was double what I was quoted. Fees for every little thing, and then the drive time price was doubled from 2 to 4 hours, though they made it in less than 2. Well, nothing like being held for ransom, as they wouldn't unload until they got payment. That took about 20 minutes, as he didn't know his office phone number for the payment app and proceeded to argue with me that the app I was using didn't need it. It did. Then when I finally got inside the house, I had to send a text to let people know I made it, and when I went back out to the garage, they were piling boxes up to the rafters, taking up half my garage. They broke my dining table, and if I could reach to get to the boxes, I'm sure I'll find my fine china in tiny pieces along with other glassware. When I saw one of the guys take a box of kitchen items, he flipped it upside down and threw it on the top of the stack, smiled, like he was proud of himself for getting it up there, and went back for another box. I just sat there with tears in my eyes. I couldn't even speak at that point, I was so upset. I can't unpack after 3 days because I can't take things from the reachable bottom boxes, otherwise the entire stack would tumble. There was a definite language barrier between myself and the movers, but I know the head guy understood me when I told him I was upset. He just told me to call the office. When he was leaving after this horrible, hellish move, he asked if I had anything for his guys. Did he honestly think I was going to tip them? Buy them pizza and beer? Give them anything? This move cost double what I was quoted, they broke some items and left me unable to get to anything in order to unpack. They not only piled up the boxes, they piled more stress onto the already stressful day. People BEWARE! Do NOT hire these guys! You'll be very sorry if you do. read more

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER. DO NOT HIRE!!!! Here is why: 3 weeks ago. the movers picked up our things. We were told that our stuff was going from CA to CO in 2-5 days. We get a call at 5 days, expecting our stuff, but instead of that happening, we were told our stuff was in storage with no departure date. We had to have my dad postpone his move since he has end stage liver failure and was not going to have his bed. It had gotten to the point where it was over 12 business days and we called to get an update, and it took forever for them to give us ANY update. On the phone, Liz told me that it takes up to 12 business days for our stuff to be delivered (this was a friday) and that our stuff would be here on either Monday or Wednedsay of the upcoming week. I explained to her that we were never given that number before but that it was okay. We waited and waited until literally 30 minutes ago (Monday), when the driver showed up BY HIMSELF. He asked US to hire people to unload the truck, then backtracked and said he was just here to check out the moving location because he was unsure of whether it was 1-3 stories (which was disclosed before the entire move itself). We called dispatch and immediately told them and they said, and I quote, "that is highly unlikely that a driver ever checks the location or shows up without help". I called another lady for a refund, and she tried to lie to me about we signed a contract that said 21 business days, and that it is normal for the mover to "check the location" before delivering. James, the dispatch, said to us again that that NEVER happens. The mover is coming back tomorrow with our stuff apparently and another mover or two, which we will see if they ever show up. This is the most frustrating, unprofessional moving experience I have ever had and I have done a million moves. These guys did such a great job with our move! All of our objects arrived safe and sound for our cross-country move. They *catalogued and numbered all of our items*, so the pick-up (Guillermo and Walter in MA) and drop-off (Chris, Fabian and Daniel in AZ) experience was extremely smooth and efficient. Everybody was very professional and accommodating (and even helped us solve some packing issues we had). I heard so many horror stories about moving companies, but this wasn't one. This company is built on lies and misinformation. My items were picked on 5-11-2024 and supposed to be delivered to Vermont. Here it is 5-28-2024 and my items are still in California. They call Friday the 24th and said they were still attempting to schedule. Really? Unacceptable! They said probably be 2-3 more weeks! I can't move into my new apartment until my things arrive. I'm staying at hotels and am out over $1500.00 already. The communication is horrible, They say they will call and never do. I have disputed the charges and expect a full refund. This is by far, the WORST moving company I've experienced! (I've hired three large movers in the past.) They do NOT answer calls; do NOT provide the services contracted/ nor promised; DID NOT deliver even CLOSE to the date agreed and contracted; and did NOT provide updated communication on the alteration of the situations. I do not recommend Blvd Moving, because move day was literally one of the worst days I have ever had, and it was because of the foreman and his crew. The foreman was very unprofessional and demeaning to me. Additionally, at least 2 of the packers had no idea what they were doing. For example, lamps with the light bulbs on them were crammed in a box with no packing paper. They used my other personal belongings as the packing material. Even after guidance, they were about to dump all of my office desk drawers into a box. What's worse is that they were going to pack everything without marking anything on the boxes, and I was moving into storage, and I had communicated this to the foreman many times. When the foreman first walked in my house, we went room by room, and he told me all of the boxes would be marked by room. That was my expectation because I have had professional movers before. I just expected that as "table stakes." When I noticed that many boxes in the dining room had been packed and moved outside with NO labels as to what room they were from or what might be inside (like a general label, "china"), I brought it up to the foreman. He acted very annoyed (at me). He went and asked the packers to start doing this. They still didn't do it, so I went back to him and asked him again. He was getting more annoyed, and I was very intimidated by him. Finally, my son and I followed the packers around marking boxes. I told them not to close any box until I could see what was in it and where it came from. This meant that my son and I were working 10 hours doing this. This is NOT what you pay professional packers for. And, I paid a over $30K. At one point, customer service called me to ask how it was going. I told that person it was terrible and gave her the reasons why. They then called the foreman. Then, the foreman was really passive aggressive towards me (even more so). I felt very uncomfortable with him in my home. His attitude towards me was that he would just leave with his crew. At one point the foreman told me that just because the packers spoke Spanish didn't make them stupid. I was appalled and insulted, because in NO WAY did I ever imply that. The foreman said they would be marking the boxes by room - and that wasn't happening. That day really goes down in history as one of the worst days of my life BECAUSE of Blvd Movers. When my belongings arrived at the destination, the unpackers were amazing, and I was so thankful for them. I submitted a damage claim for $6,537.02 - with 38 pages of proof. The claims people approved a little over a hundred dollars, which is ridiculous. I did not sign acceptance of this, because it was ridiculous. DO NOT US THEM! I moved from St Louis, MO to Northern CA. Most of my things were damaged and they didn't deliver on time. It was almost 2 weeks late. They promised my things would come straight to my new place and they put it into storage. It was a nightmare. They definitely subcontract out and are not honest about things. There contract for insurance afterwards is only cents to the pound not dollar value of items. So you think you're covered if anything is damaged but you're really not. I had probably close to $50,000 worth of damage and only got less than $300 back. They literally folded my CAL King mattress in half, damaging it and claimed I did it. I recently used this company for a move, and was not only ripped off, ignored and lied to, I'm missing about 20 boxes & bags of items. I've e-mailed and left voicemails (over 5) and I'm just ignored. My rate was changed because of destination changes and I was told "you were quoted $950, but if we had initiated the destination change it would be $950, because you are initiating the destain change it's going to be $1800." Without a doubt ridiculous because 1. why would a moving company request a destination change for my belongings, and 2. I got two separate quotes before I put down the deposit for 2 different destinations. That should have been honored, but wasn't! Half my stuff is broken or missing, and to make it even more awesome their "insurance" doesn't cover broken glass. 1/3 of my glass is broken including pictures, glasses, tv, even my table top is scratched and ruined! I had my stuff delivered about 3 weeks ago, and I'm still waiting on a response from my missing items. I've emailed 5 requests and still nothing, not a response to my emails requesting specific information and on my inquiry about my missing items. BLVD as a company is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. There is no communication and when they do communicate it's dishonest. My $1000 couch is ruined and it took almost 30 days from when my stuff got put on a truck to when it was delivered to me, with a lot of hardship and disrespect on the way. TLDR: they made my mom cry and that says everything you need to know about them. A salesman named Matt spoke with me and I stated very clearly I need my things by Oct 17, 2024. He said because of that, I should get my things on a truck as soon as possible. They were loaded and taken away on Oct. 5, 2024. I told the actual movers the same thing about it needing to be there on 10/17 as I was starting work on 10/21. Spoiler: it did not come. I called on the 16th to confirm, they told me it wasn't even on the truck and it would be 3-5 days from the 17th to get there. It was horrible, but there was nothing we could do so we waited and tried to get updates as time passed. NOTE: there was no communication FROM Blvd to us. It was only from us to Blvd. they never reached out to help or check in, they never called to apologize or problem solve. When we called, we were treated like pests for wanting updates or explanations. Calls are always shifted from one customer service agent to the next and their excuse for misinformation is that the person I had already talked to made a mistake. Any information we got was shocking, mostly that our stuff would not be there when they said it would be. The date changed every time. They lied about speaking to the driver when my stuff wasn't even on a truck, they lied about where the truck was and when it was leaving, they lied about the driver not being able to unload in the street behind my apartment and said the driver had been there and seen it when in fact, the driver was in Memphis, two hours away, completing a job and had not even been to Nashville. This led to me yelling at the driver thinking he had not even called me when he attempted delivery, to which the driver said "no, the company lied to you. I'm not anywhere near Nashville and I haven't seen the street. Don't talk to them, because they will continue to lie to you. Speak with me and I'll let you know when I can be there." He expressed that the company constantly shifts the blame to the people on the ground such as the movers and the drivers so they don't have to deal with it. It's worth saying that their excuses were about me not understanding the logistics of a driver and truck getting across the country and that since my move was small (422 cubic feet) it just goes where it fits and doesn't necessarily correspond with the date it can be delivered. Blame was shifted to us for not having more stuff that would make it a higher priority move. Overall, disgusting customer service. People did nothing to help us and made us feel ridiculous for asking for help. They also screened our calls constantly because we were calling to ask for updates daily, because every day we got a different answer. The whole process was predatory and sneaky. I spent $3500 on my move, $1500 moving into an apartment that was empty and needed basic supplies, and several hundred dollars on flights for people who came to support the move and be at the apartment so they couldn't claim to attempt delivery and failed because no one was there (which they did twice). It's NOT worth your time or money or peace of mind. Pick another company and pay a little more because this was the worst moving experience I've ever had. I have moved with professional movers 6 times. I have used United, Mayflower, Atlas, and Merchants. I moved recently from Los Angeles to Charlotte. What a disaster. I had quotes from several movers, and Matt from BLVD was very persistent that they could beat the other bids. Sure enough, they lowered their bid and so I went with them. The day before we closed on the sale of our home, they showed up to pack. At that point they told me that we had more stuff than they thought and would have to raise the price (by almost 20% by the way) or they couldn't pack me. I called my salesman, no answer. At that point it was too late to get a different company so they stuck it to me knowing I had to be out to close on the sale and had no options at that point. On the delivery, they gave me a range of 3 weeks to deliver. Then they told me it would be delivered on a specific day 2 days in advance, and they were late by another day! The day before they delivered they also told me they needed more money because they couldn't get their truck in my neighborhood based on google maps. They had the address for several weeks, but they told me the day before delivery they couldn't get their truck in my neighborhood. I called my salesman Matt, he said sorry and I never heard from him again. The delivery man was a jerk. He was a prick to his crew, and they did very little to protect my new home. I had it painted prior to moving in, and they scraped the walls going up the stairs. I have wood floors throughout and they scraped the finish on the floors in my den. The kicker...they dropped an all wood credenza off the truck...not just a foot or two, but 4 feet or so off the truck. This piece is significantly damaged. I called...no response. Worst moving experience by far from someone who had moved many times. DO NOT USE THEM! They certainly didn't care about my experience or my belongings. read more

I'm casualty #1628282 of this dishonest company's practice of underquoting cost, overpromising transit time, misinforming aka lying about the whereabouts or anything related to your items...and best of all, should you have an issue with any of the above, threatening to hold your possessions hostage until you cough up the dough. Oh, and cash only, no credit cards. Hmm...wonder how many disputes it took for that policy to be enacted. And here's the thing...the actual boots-on-the-ground movers are great! If you make the mistake of using this shiesty company, still, tip the movers! It's the white collar masterminds behind this extortion scheme that made this Seattle to California move the most stressful 3 weeks of my adult life. My boss literally told me to take an extended weekend to recover because I looked so haggard over conference calls. Oh, and the best part of all of this? If you're lucky enough to get any sort of remuneration for their incompetence, which in my case was explicitly, verbally stated as 50% off the difference between my estimate and my (2x) final cost, they'll entirely ignore any honoring of what their own customer service representative explicitly stated by basically deflecting simple yes/no questions until you a) run out of energy and give up, or b) lose your temper and threaten to sue and subpoena the phone call. I think I remember doing a little of both, at least from what I haven't been able to successfully purge from memory. And regarding that call, after you call back a dozen times over multiple days, they will neither confirm nor deny what their own agents stated, and in with regaed to my aforementioned 50% off before/after delta, arbitrarily offered me a take-ot-or-leave-it fraction of that discount. 1/5th in my case. Where/how did they arrive at this number? It's just as mysterious as in what state or warehouse your possession are located! To anyone looking to truly have a "hassle free" move, you'll do better with a uhaul/POD equivalent and some local hands. To anyone who works at BLVD moving and has any scruples whatsoever, find another job. Just like your customers, you deserve better too. DO NOT USE! Horrible experience all around. This is not a moving company, it's a contracting company that doesn't value customer experiences and doesn't hold the movers accountable. We used them to pack our valuables and store them for a short duration and deliver. Poor communication leading up to the move out date. Many of our high value items were broken or "lost" upon move in. When moving into our new place we got slapped with an extra $1,000 charge because the mover claimed to be driving too large of a truck and had to change trucks. We've seen semi's drive through our neighborhood. Many pieces of furniture were damaged including a desk, TV, entry tables. Not only did they not do anything about the $1,000 extra charge, they offered us only $200 for all the damaged and lost items. The TV alone was over $300. read more

They came up with several excuses as to why prices increase. "all in their contract" This move was supposed to be a job relocation for my grown daughter. I heard several of her conversations with Brian. she told them how much furniture , he would call again, ask another question, "oh that is additional if you want us to protect the furniture" I will fast forward after probably two dozen phone calls and 5 price increases, the guy who was actually supposed to get her items last Friday called her, several hours late, and said to her "oh maybe tomorrow." The entire family has now stepped in, taken days off, secured actual Real movers for her, changed flights, boarded dogs, well.... You get the picture. I have been informed that the way Brian spoke to her was completely unacceptable when she informed him that she was cancelling that move. They weren't there anyways and they weren't even in the state to pick up her stuff. She will get that deposit back!!! My family will not accept Brian's comments, attitude or tone of voice he used with her! And..... I do not need a reply from the owner, manager of yet anymore excuses!!!! read more

This company is completely unethical. I put a deposit down to lock in my price of $4,400 and I ended up paying $700 more (over $5,000). They bait and switch and then justify it by saying they sent emails with the higher price even though the amount of items was exactly the same (see attached inventory list). On top of that, they nickel and dime you when they delivery your furniture. I made a $100 deposit (don't pay it!) assuming that my original quote of $4,400 would be honored. Not a few days later (see date on attached quote), they raise the price to $5,050 and send it in tiny font, which I assumed would have the same price I paid a deposit for. Not the case. When I confronted them about this, they said they sent emails about the higher price. Well sorry, if I put a deposit down for a price and nothing in the item list changes, why is it higher? (Everything was the same, even the fuel surcharge in both lists). On top of that, on the day of delivery they charge me $75 for I don't remember what even as I'm calling them out on the $700 jacked up price, essentially holding my stuff hostage. And they wanted to double charge me for a rental truck I had already paid for because they didn't have a record of it on hand. They did not even offer a minor concession for the glaring egregious bait and switch scheme. Don't trust these folks! read more

I found this moving company on Google, given that it had four out of five stars. On yelp, they barely have 2 1/2 stars now I know why. On their message, they say that they are the most trustworthy moving company. When I first called them, the Sales representative told me that they specialize in furniture assembly and wrapping unboxed items. I was so excited as I mainly needed help with furniture assembly and wrapping my art as it was delicate and I made it all myself and it's really important. The day before moving, I asked if I could please pay ahead of time to make sure that I had my finances in order. I was told by Dispatch they'd send me contract and payment Authorization form. Neither came the entire day. Dispatch also said movers would call an hour ahead to give me time to prepare for their arrival. The movers called and said they were 40minutes away and arrived in 20 minutes, arriving in a large truck to fit 3 bedrooms. This was surprising as I'd told both Sales and Dispatch I only needed a small truck for one bedroom days prior. Because of the awkward timing, I had no time to move my car, make coffee, or eat. Also, I should mention they didn't even tell me the time window until late afternoon the day before, even though I had work that day and was trying to figure out when to switch my hours since they couldn't come on my actual move-in day. With all this last minute prep, I was flustered from the beginning of the process. During the entire move, both movers would ask me the same question over and over. During the contract signing the mover used language such as "thank you Baby, thank you Mami" when I already felt uneasy about using their hourly rates time to sign a contract and Auth form 3 times because they couldn't figure it out completely and this was after I'd requested it for the day before. Contrary to the claim they shrink-wrap and moved unpacked items, they initially stated they did not want to pack my art for fear of breaking it. This led to me breaking an art piece I took years to create over the anxiety of having to pack multiple items myself while answering micro-manageable questions to them and finally they relented and packed the items I'd intentionally set aside for this very reason. As far as the claim for assembly - as I mentioned, I told Sales, Dispatch, and the movers who ALL agreed this was possible and I stressed it was the MAIN reason for all of this - once looking at the 7 items that needed assembly (for a small one bedroom apartment - easy stuff like toddler beds, a bar table, side tables) they pretended to call the "Company" and stated "they don't let us do that." I reminded them that this is why I went with this company. They assembled one children's table/chairs and left prior to the paid 4 hour minimum, with a few furniture items broken/missing knobs, watching videos on their phones in between, without any communication, and sent an invoice for twice the price when I called to see what happened. Mind you, if the assembly took longer than expected or they would need more pay, I was prepared to make up for that - but to hire a company who says they specialize in 2 necessary skills the movers chose not to perform makes me feel like this is the most distrusted moving company. I asked to only pay partial price through email in response to invoice, as Customer Service line never picks up no matter what day I called during business hours. Dispatch stated they tried a few times, and that was even with multiple polite prompts/reminders over the week - given I couldn't move into my apartment without a bed. Also the movers offered wardrobe boxes and only mentioned they charge for them afterward, so I had to throw all my clothes quickly into the closet and give them back all the boxes without notice. I give them 2 stars because they did move all my items from point A to point B. I appreciate that. read more

All cross country movers are subpar but these guys are pretty low. Beware of the tricks: their clock on the 21 BUSINESS DAY deadline starts on the day you tell them is the earliest it can be dropped off. If you are moving cross country tell them the earliest delivery day is the day after pickup. My contact, VP of Sales Matt Freedman, was all over me until I signed a contract and then he disappeared and would not return my calls or emails. I finally called the customer serive line and figured out the scam. She explained the deadline being 21 days after our earliest drop off date. IF you look at the small print is sayd 21 biz days. My stuff was picked up on July 6th and it is still sitting in their warehouse in Chatsworth. They told me the driver for it might be back next week. Hired this company to move my things across country. At least all of our items were received in poorer condition than were taken. I had an amazing 5 drawer dresser that is now broken and can't open the drawers properly. Cracked at the top right and pieces missing. I had an entertainment center that is now slanted because one of the legs broke off. My bed frame is all creaky for some unknown reason (other than when they took it apart they did so in a rough manner). Thankfully we didn't have much to begin with which helped with the price (ended up being more) but at the same time, we don't have much to end with either!! In order for me to file a claim, I have to take pictures of my items and send them in the MAIL as proof. We live in a world where these types of things should be able to be taken care of using modern technology. They just want to make it harder on us so that they don't have to pay for the poor job they provided. This moving company has disappointed us greatly. I write this review as I continue to wait for my things to be shipped. This company told us our things would be delivered between 5-21 days. We received no calls or updates from the company so on the 14th day of waiting we called our moving coordinator and she said she would give us a call back later with an update, but that never happened. We had to reach out again two days later and were then told that 21 days meant 21 business days (never clarified prior) and we were reassured our things would be on the truck and heading our way the following week with a tentative delivery date on the 15th business day. No such luck. Called again and now were told our things would be shipped out over a weekend (yeah right, a holiday weekend no less). The man (James) responsible for securing you in a contract is the only one doing his job well and that's the only reason I'm giving a star. Other than him, there is no communication, updates, or attempt at making things right between company and customer. We are 100% sure our items will not be here in 21 days, and want to warn everyone who may need their things sooner or want a more communicative team to avoid this company. We were also told nothing is sub contracted out to smaller companies, but that was untrue. The man who came to pick up our things told us he worked with several different moving companies and he was not a direct employee of BLVD Moving. He was a very sweet man and did his part, but if you want everything to be done through one company, thats not them either. read more

It was the first time using this company! Felix on the phone was very helpful and nice. The price is more than correct. Overall the job was well done and the movers (Jo and Blue) very nice and worked very fast! The only thing I would say is that some screws from different furnitures fell during the move and they lost a couple of small things but nothing that I cannot replace. I entered into a contract with BLVD Moving (US DOT 2892909) on 5/17/2025 to move household items on 5/21/2025 from a storage facility in North Hollywood, CA 91605 and with an additional stop in Los Angeles, CA 90034 that were to be moved on a truck leaving CA that week to Miami, Florida to be stored at their partner storage facility at 3593 N.W. 19th Street, Lauderdale Lakes, Florida 33311 for 30 days free storage to then be delivered by BLVD Moving on the afternoon of Monday, June 16 between 1-4pm and/or Tuesday morning June 17 between 9-noon to Miami, FL 33130 in order to comply with the elevator reservation required at the destination. This is all in writing. Futhermore, BLVD Moving says that conversations are recorded so this should be able to be confirmed by audio recordings as well. BLVD Moving did not move the items to Miami in the time frame promised. After approximatley 60 phone calls the week of June 16, we were finally informed that the truck had recently left CA and was only in Texas. I had taken off work the week of June 16 to meet the moving truck in Miami. Not only did I waste my vacation time, I incurred the expense of an airline ticket and travel expenses. I left multiple emails and phone calls the week prior to June 16 to confirm that the truck was scheduled to arrive on time. Never did anyone contact me regarding an issue. I was ghosted. The mailboxes of employees at BLVD are constantly full. I also found out that employees use different names so "Helen" and "Tina" are actually the same employee. The items did not arrive until July 1, and they were delivered by a different moving company. I have in writing that BLVD would be the company delivering the goods. And, I had to pay $150 extra as the day of their July 1 delivery as the closest freight elevator to the apartment was broken. It was working perfectly on June 16 and June 17. The company (Ocean) that did the delivery required additional payment before agreeing to unload any of my items from their truck. I was fraudulently sold services that were not delivered upon by BLVD Moving. DO NOT USE. And, put an air tag in a box for any move you so you can see where your stuff actually is. read more

Out of 10 reviews, only one person gave them a favorable rating. My rating is also unfavorable. Wish I had read this before hiring them. They charge double during the transportation between locations and the truck disappears with your items so you have no idea when they will arrive or if everything will still be intact. Day of move clothes to be put in boxes provided at extra cost $900. Company fails to mention once leaves state contract SOLD to another moving company which upon arrival to state destination ADDITIONAL trucking costs. TV never arrived. Stolen. $36 settlement offer due to "inconvenience" as $2000 extra to insurance didn't apply. Fiduciary is your items moved to arrive. Failed. Liars. Thieves. Scammers. If zero stars was an option that would be it!! Buyer beware, they are extortionist!!! We were quoted $600 for 4 hours. Booked for 2 - 2 bedroom units in the same complex to one unit 15 minutes away. Started at 9;45 am, took over 2 hours on the first unit, everything for the second unit was already on the footpath ready to go. As they were not moving anyway quickly.of efficiently, so we started to help. Took less than 40 minutes Got to the new unit approx 15 minutes away, they unloaded a few items, stating the elevator was slow. We told them to just unload e everything into the garage or sidewalk, as we still had almost an hour and we could take it up. At 1:15 with 30 minutes still on the clock and said unless we agreed to pay for additional hours, they would stop working, they wanted 4 ADDITIONAL hours!! We went over and back for 45 minutes, while they where holding our items hostage and refusing to take anything off the truck It took 45 minutes to get hold of anyone in the office and guess what!! That was on our dime!! Even though 30 minutes we.already paid for!! It cost 300 extra to get our items off the truck . Disgusting business practices and it appears that because they are dealing with 2 young girls, they can take advantage. DO NOT LET BLVD MOVE YOU! I booked through Interstate Moving for a cross country move without knowing who the local carrier that would be moving my belongings across the country. The movers who came to pick up my boxes were great, and efficient, every other interaction since then have been detestable. They've lost a huge art piece of mine, 12x24 and have not been helpful in finding this. Their customer service is really the issue at hand, they do not call back when they say they will, there is little to no communication when you call about missing items and no accountability on their end. In addition to this loss, there was also damage done to furniture being moved. Overall, save yourself the headache, and your wallet the money. read more

TLDR: BLVD MOVING COMPANY IS RUN BY SCAMMERS. THEY WILL QUOTE YOU A LESSER PRICE AT FIRST BUT BY THE END OF THE MOVE YOU WILL END UP HAVING TO PAY OVER DOUBLE THE ORIGINAL PRICE. I wanna start this review off by saying I am not the typical entitled American consumer that often posts negative reviews about businesses. The ACTUAL movers, Mark and his associate were a two man crew. 10/10 would work with again. I don't want my negative review to impact them in anyway because these guys were awesome and did the best they could given the circumstances. They got royally screwed by whoever runs the office. We had too much stuff and these poor guys ended up working 10 hours plus, straight with no reprieve. My Dad originally booked the move and was quoted $750 for four hours of labor. My Dad was both promised and requested a walk through to get a more accurate estimate because he knew we had a lot of belongings. Once the move was passed over to me, and no one had reached out to me to schedule the walkthrough I reached out on my own and spoke with Matthew, who reassured me, "It's pretty standard to not do a walkthrough for a local move. You're less than 30 minutes away. Even if you had more stuff than what was originally put on the inventory list, it shouldn't drive the price up so much." My father called once again, and spoke with Rosa, saying how he thought it was disrespectful how he was promised a walkthrough in the beginning but now it was being blown off because I was assuming responsibility over the move. Cue a week before the move, I speak with Teo, who reassured me of the same things Matthew did. This was even after I added a bunch of furniture to the inventory list. I was reassured that this would not drive up the price. Day of the move, Mark walks into our apartment "You guys have way too much stuff. I don't know why the office didn't schedule you a walkthrough, this is going to drive up the price indefinitely. I doubt that the office will send a third guy, but you can try asking for one." Both me and my Dad call the office and speak with Ahmed/Ahmad, no courtesy is given to our situation. We're passively told, "Oh these guys work very fast. 5/6 hours tops. Worse case scenario you end up paying $1250." Ten, almost eleven hours later, I am out of pocket $1400 and am looking to pay more because these poor guys still aren't done. Avoid this moving company at all costs. They reel you in with their self assured sales reps and will fuck you over first chance they get. I hope all of these peoples toenails grow inward. I am disgusted at the lack of understanding, lack of concern, the complete and utter novices they have manning their front desks. They are unwilling to budge nor admit shady business practices. This is by far the worst moving company, no one should use them. They are great at taking your money , then adding additional fees once your items finally arrive. I was quoted a much lower price from another company but was told it would take 3 weeks to get my items , so I said no and called Blvd . I spoke with James and asked him how long it would take from California to Colorado and was told 3-5 days, after a week I called every day and was told they did not have a driver, no one ever called me, I spoke with Johnnie who was going to check and call me right back, that never happened. When my items finally did arrive weeks later, I was charged an additional $600.00 for a shuttle truck, in which a moving truck could of certainly fit, as the storage facility was in an open lot . They didn't even know anything about the area in which the storage place was at and just assumed the truck would not fit. When they finished unloading , my wardrobe boxes were missing and were on another truck, in which I had to wait another 45 minutes at the storage facility where they were unloading for them to arrive. They took care to wrap the couch in plastic and hauled everything away efficiently and with care. Granted this was a small job with only about a mile distance between the pick up and drop off locations but either way their efforts were so appreciated. read more

Here it is, months later and I still do not have 3 of my boxes. They don't care. They told me to file a claim because they gave my boxes to another customer. Well, I filed a claim but am not signing it. They are using excuse after excuse not to pay. Now they claim it was due to lack of help due to the covid virus. The covid virus was Federally ended on May 11, 2023, therefore their excuse is not valid. And, there is no law stating they can extend the compensation (verified by the FMCSA). The company is a scam! I scheduled an unload of my truck on 11/21/22. They supposedly assigned Ivan plus one other person to show up. I spoke to their dispatch at least a half dozen times the previous two days. The day of the work, no one showed up during the committed time. Of the two people that were scheduled, one showed up half an hour past the committed time and the other I was told said that this was a waste of his time and not worth doing. I'm not sure how Blvd moving does their work but this was wholly unacceptable. I would love a response back from them but it looks like they are now not answering my calls. Oh and here is one other note, at the end, they requested I pay the full quoted amount even though they met almost zero part of their commitment. What's the point of a deposit if they aren't going to do what they promised? P. They came with an additional "mover" and demanded a higher price for the extra mover and never gave us a notice. No communication and will take advantage of you. Do not use their services. read more

Similar experience to other folks here. We moved back in summer, I was pretty angry with them at the time. So I waited to cool down before writing a review here. The good: As far a timeliness went they were fine for me. They were also polite and flexible when we got hit with some curveballs. The bad: Although they were all very nice we had several problems. A number of broken items that were improperly packed by their movers. Not enough packing material in several boxes. We took the more sensitive stuff ourselves, so nothing critical was lost. Mostly dishes and glasses. On the packing day they wanted $1000 cash to pay the movers. This was not disclosed in advance. Coming up with that cash on a Sunday was less than ideal. We were ready for that on the unpacking side. NOTE: This was not an attempt to scam us for more money. The total price was as agreed. The big problem was they vastly underestimated the amount of space in the truck that we would need. Over the phone I told their rep several times that I had not used movers before, and thought we would need 20-25% more truck space than they were estimating. The rep talked me out of that saying they had a lot of experience and going larger would be a waste of my money. Since they are the professionals I let him talk me out of the extra space. There was not nearly enough space on the truck when they came. There was no offer of getting another truck or more space. End result I had to make 5-6 cross state 1300 mile round trip drives to get all the stuff they left behind. I ended up with some minor back problems that took a few weeks to resolve after all that.
