After the rain last week (We live in East Austin, and got somewhere between 11-13 inches, depends on who you ask) our ceiling started leaking. Like, I had buckets sitting in 4 different places on our floor, leaking. We called our insurance (USAA) and the referred us to these clowns. The guy who called back was busier making jokes with his buddies in the background than talking to us, but, you know, as long as he got his job done, I don't care. It was 330 on a Friday, and they said they didn't have anyone available for the rest of the day. Frustrating - but okay. So, Saturday morning, the guy calls back and says, "We're down the street, can I stop by?" Sure. Guy comes in, boots COVERED in mud, and doesn't take them off, doesn't put booties over them, just tracks mud all over my house. (Good thing the rug was part of our insurance claim, because he tracked mud all over that, too) He says he has to go back to his truck (which is apparently still down the street) to get a tarp to help stop the water from leaking. We never heard from him again. We called USAA this morning to tell them about this experience, and to stress that under NO circumstances is Blackmon Mooring allowed on our property, and *SHOCKER* they submitted a bill to USAA. We decided to let USAA decide whether or not this constitutes fraud. read more

I have used them before with good results, BUT!!!! I had them come to my house a couple of weeks ago to do a routine cleaning of stairs and one 2 rooms. After about 45 minutes, I noticed they were having equipment issues with the truck mounted engine? It was clearly dying constantly when suction was applied. I talked with the driver who told me that he couldnt keep it running and that this vehicle had been in for repair/replacement and was known to not work when he took it out this AM. I told them to leave and come back when they had working equipment. I then called Kent Cole, operations supervisor at Round Rock Blackmon Mooring, and explained the situation. He said yes the truck had been having issues, but that he had 2 new trucks being placed in service next week. I told him to pick a day and send them back out with working equipment. He said the following Thursday (this was a Friday) at Noon. At 1145 Thursday I received a call from the driver saying he was enroute to my residence, but that he had the same truck as before, still in non-functioning condition. I told him to forget it, then called Kent Cole and asked him what was up with sending me the same broken truck?? He said the truck had been repaired. I told him the driver said it was still broken, and apparently he or his employee was lying. In any event, I told him not to bother sending me out something that was broken. So I didnt get my stairs cleaned after all.... Oh yes, I also called their national number and complained. No one cared enough to call me back from there either. Just call some guy off craigslist, save time and money and aggravation. read more

Blackmon Mooring was hired to do a residential water remediation and rebuild project Oct 1, 2018 for damage caused by a large HVAC water leak. Significant damage to about 1200 sq ft requiring mold remediation, wood and stone floor replacement, sheetrock and wood molding replacement, and custom closets. $68K cost. Originally told would be completed by Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then February 2019. Insurance payment check endorsed over to BM in early February with "only some minor tile work remaining to be finished." Unfortunately, once paid it was almost impossible to get the final work done. Excuses, no responses, more excuses ... for five more months! The final task, regrouting the new stone tile along baseboard and door moldings, took a few months to get done (less than an hour of work) and when done, a dark charcoal grout was used that did not match the rest of the floor. Once paid, BM was extremely slack in customer service. In addition, the wood trim vendor they used decided to set up his wood saw in the empty master bedroom (because it hwas cold outside) and blew fine sawdust through the entire house vent system instead of taping off the air registers in that room, which required a thorough vent and home clean out. If you choose to use BM, be prepared for a longer project than promised and do not pay them until ALL the work is finished. read more

I had some hesitation about setting an appointment given the bad yelp reviews, but was told they were top notch by a trusted referrer, so I pushed forward even after an initial scheduling snafu. Glad I did. Their equipment is much better than other vent cleaning services and our HVAC provider approved. All in all very happy with the service Carlos and Ariel provided today during the duct cleaning and treatment. Both were respectful, cleaned up nicely, and very personable. We contracted Blackmon mooring to restore our home after we had a flood on the first floor. The water mitigation team was amazing. They showed up immediately after we called and began the drying out phase. We were impressed with their professionalism so we contracted Blackmon mooring to do the whole renovation. They were great to work with at every phase of the process from the estimate, dealing with our insurance company, moving and storing our belongings and the reconstruction and finally the finish work and move-back. Their work crews were professional and courteous and the management team was very professional as well and accessible throughout the process. This company doesn't rate 1 star. We were screwed over big time for air duct cleaning. Had appointment scheduled for a week for Saturday between 4-6 pm. That was bad enough. My elderly, sick mother was moved out of her home for a week to get this done. When appointment day came around my brother was there 3 hours, no call, no nothing. He finally got hold of supervisor that same eve & the super couldn't get hold of his own employees, he tried bout half hour, called my brother back & said the work would definitely be done the next day (Sunday). Sunday morn at 9:30, my brother is called by a "worker" saying they'll be at the home at 1:00 & give us a whopping $20 discount. My brother said keep your $20 & cancelled. Bottom line, very unprofessional, unreliable & not worth the money they charge. Don't know how they've lasted this long in business. read more

We just had a terrible experience with this company. They called 90 minutes before the appointment window to tell us that all the service trucks are in the shop getting repaired and they will not be able to clean three rooms as we had scheduled 7 days ago. They offered to come out the day after the holiday weekend and only 10% off. What is upsetting is they knew first thing this morning that they are not able to make a single service call all weekend and should have called this morning to inform us. We already had all furniture and necessary items removed from the rooms read to go. Another company is coming out in short notice at same price to do the job. Only giving the one star as zero star is not an option. read more

I had to call them at 6:30 and all he offered was a whole 15% off the job for my inconvenience....isn't that the discount coupon I already have from online? Give me a break. If I could give Blackmon Mooring a negative star rating I would. I am a property manager and had a fire in an apartment. I'd never had a fire with this extent of damage and felt like I needed a professional company to assist with the restoration. FIrst of all, they are like ambulance chasers leaving their cards at the fire and calling our office immediately soliciting the work. This should have been my first red flag. However, the representative seemed nice enough at the initial meeting. Unfortunately it took almost 30 days and multiple phone calls, emails, and angry voicemail messages to finally receive an estimate for the scope of work. We agreed on the scope of work and once they finally got started the work went fairly smoothly, until their restoration crew broke a window. And wouldn't agree to fix it right away. More weeks of phone calls unreturned. My point of contact never scheduled a final walk through. I emailed him with a few issues I had and never received a response. MY crew completed other work in the unit and I submitted final invoices to insurance. Weeks later I get an email from Blackmon Mooring demanding payment for a separate contract I had never seen before and definitely never signed. This was from a "different department". This was never explained to me and I never signed a contract agreeing to the scope of work! So I can expect more frustrating correspondence. Keep in mind their services are EXPENSIVE. You would expect amazing customer service for the amount of money you are spending. Save yourself some money and frustration and find another company. I work with different vendors every day and I have never been so frustrated, misinformed, and not communicated to by people who are supposed to be "Project Coordinators". I am not an avid yelper. Actually have never posted a review for any other company but I felt I would be doing a disservice to other people by not telling about the horrible experience I've had with Blackmon Mooring. read more

Blackmon Mooring Austin handled the remediation of my condo after a flood. They did an excellent job. They handled the work well and communicated with me and the other subcontractors in a timely fashion. I was out of the country during part of the work, so their coordination of the job and communication with me, was very important. I wish I had read all these reviews before hiring them. We got water damage with a broken pipe inside of the house in Jan, 2017 and we were so vulnerable and upset that we did not read anything. We just needed someone to take care of us. Since I have never had this problem before I did not know who to call. Anyway I hired them. They said that they are going to restore our house in a few weeks. Few weeks became 3 months and we finally got back from an extended stay to our house not completely finished on April. They are very good on what they are supposed to do which is drying the place. Blackmon Mooring is going to be a very successful company if they just dry The walls and prevent the mold. The restoration part of their job is very very sloppy and not a very good quality. My guess is they get too many jobs and don't have enough people to do the job. My house got dried in 5 to 7 days then no one did anything in it until two months later after I kept writing and calling. Then they came and finished a major part of the job in two days. They still haven't finished everything and they have not followed up to get the rest of their money. In the middle of all that their hired carpenter/sub contractor Roland Luna asked us for $3000 check which their contract manager Frank knew about it. Roland said he would not start the job unless we pay him. He was supposed to buy a level B or C granite with that money which I was more than happy to pay for upgrade. He ended up buying level A granite which was the same amount as what it was mentioned in the signed contract. So I lost $3000 and he never gave me back that money (of course my mistake, you should never pay someone without talking to their boss). Now that I am back in the house, I have paid others to come in and take care of some details that they did not do. We have placed quarter round around the baseboards that had gaps. The door rim that was completely rotten in the bottom is fixed etc... An example of the sloppy job beside the gap between the base board and the tiles, is the internet wire is still hanging out the wall in the office. Who does that?? I told them their check is ready as soon they come and fix it. So far they have not been back to get their money. Don't know they are too rich not needing the remaining of insurance money or with all these reviews they are disintegrating and no one is available to come and get the money. But whatever it is, I will never ever use this company again and I know it is a bad time of your life but don 't make my mistake read reviews before you hire them. read more

Oh dear, where do I start? USAA (who I LOVE and TRUST), assigned Blackmon Mooring for all hail damage repairs, (like another yelper on this review page). We started the process in late Spring, and they finally finished in September. The foreman was awful, no customer service skills at all. He ended up not coming back after just a very few (one or maybe two times out?). We ended up having to work with his boss who was a nice enough man, but gave us such lip service on timelines and run arounds. Turnover of employees was really bad. We kept being told "I will be here", and then that person wouldn't work for them anymore. There was ALWAYS a problem with what we were told would happen. "The supplier ran out of material. Home Depot gave us the wrong stuff. We ordered the wrong thing., etc." The wooden garage door repair was a joke. They painted and assembled on site, and didn't paint the ends of the boards, so when they were put on the door, you could see raw edges all over the door boards. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy work all around. We were out of town when the metal part of the roof was FINALLY replaced. Imagine our surprise when they said it was done, and it was the wrong color completely. There they go, having to tear off a brand new replaced roof portion, what a waste, but it was an awfully wrong color. I don't like the repair roof shingles either. Seems cheaper than the originals. There was so much debris left all over the yards. Super dangerous. They didn't even bother to cover the pool when they worked the backyard roof. All the neighbors with pools were properly tarped. The second company that came to install metal roof/gutters left such a sloppy look, we thought they were joking when they said they were done. We had to drive them around the neighborhood to show them how other houses look so they could figure out how to cut panels to make it look better. Really shoddy, embarrassingly shoddy work. Pretty bad when you have to draw up sketches to show them how to cut and fix the problems with their installations. I realize there are big problems in the world, and giving a bad yelp review seems trivial, but if you are reading this and are on the fence to hire for hail damage repair, maybe it will help you make a better decision and save a family from a lot of headaches, and have your home not look as good as it once did. ; ( **They did finally fix things to passing/acceptable to where we had to release the insurance final payment, but MAN was it a hassle, and honestly? It doesn't look as good as it used to before the storm, even after all the repairs. UPDATE 11/10/15 - While Blackmon Mooring has issued a canned response saying that all issues were resolved, it doesn't change my review or rating at all. I stand by my review 100%. This was not a well managed job, or professionally done repairs. At some point, the work is "complete", but it does not mean we were happy with the outcome or the experience as a whole. Sorry BM, I'm glad you read your customer reviews, but please do not make it sound like things worked out peachy. That would not be an accurate portrayal of our experience. Thank you. read more

Several months ago I called Blackmon Mooring to come clean a couple of upholstered chairs. Not only did they not show, when I complained, no one would call me back. No apology, no nothing. I was astonished by the lack of service, which is a shame. I had used them several years ago to clean other furniture and they were wonderful, which is why I called them again. We didn't hire this company our apartment complex did. They came in to do air duct work and stole my son's birthday money and go pro. We were told they would only be in one room and they were clearly all over our home. They left trash on the floor. Horrible service I will be filing charges with the police department. I also would give Blackmon Mooring a negative star rating. I had water damage plus I was in the hospital. Insurance company referred them so I had them come out out to rip up the cheap tile on the floor. I thought they would over look the work that was going to be done. Blackmon either never checked on the work being preformed that day or didn't give a damn. They had the money and since no one was there, they didn't care. They didn't cover anything or protect anything while tearing up the flooring. Dust is everywhere and cuts up on the walls where they took off the molding. I can not believe that for Christmas my son bought me a brand new computer, and in mid January when I had the work done - they didn't even cover the computer stuff. Please don't use them. They just want your money, they contract it out, and they don't follow up or watch over the work being preformed. Use ANYBODY else. Don't waste your money on them!! Originally these people were supposed to come out and clean our carpets on a Wednesday afternoon. But the cleaner called (in advance, fortunately) to tell me that they had scheduled him far too little time for an enormous job that afternoon, and that he would've unable to arrive at my house until 8 or 9 PM. So I rescheduled for the following morning, but then they called again (early that morning) to say that the cleaner had a medical problem and was unable to come. So they then rescheduled the cleaning for Friday morning. Another phone call on Thursday afternoon told me that the cleaner would still be out the next day. I explained my frustration with this absurd amount of rescheduling, and he was very apologetic. So he then said they would definitely come to do it the next morning. They came on Saturday, but did not do a stellar job of cleaning. I believe that they didn't clean the vertical surfaces of the stairs. In conclusion, I wouldn't particularly recommend them, but the inconveniences were probably just unlucky and they did give me 10% off, though that isn't very much for all this frustration. read more

I bought a portable a/c from Sams and when I got it out of the box it had some sticky graphite substance on the wheels and it got all over our light colored bedroom carpet. I tried to remove it with carpet cleaners, but when the residue still remained I contacted Blackman Mooring. They came right out and not only removed the stains, but removed some gum that had been in the carpet that I never could get out. The price was very reasonable and there was no pressure to do my whole house. I'm glad I called the pros at Blackman Mooring because I almost ruined my carpet with fuzzing out trying to remove the stains myself. read more

If I could attach photos of the HORRIBLE job they did replacing my 75 year old mothers roof no one would ever use them again.

I had a fire at my home with a lot of soot damage. The insurance company recommended Blackmon Mooring for cleaning the items so I signed up with them. They packed almost everything out and cleaned and stored it while repairs were made to my home. Then when things started to be delivered, I found out what a horrible company they were. They lost my piano. They lost all the drawers of my antique desk. They lost shelves from a storage cabinet and from a wall unit. They lost a few boxes. They didn't inventory all the boxes, so there might be boxes missing that weren't even on the inventory. They carefully took pictures of all the things that went into the boxes and, you guessed it, they lost the pictures. They don't respond to my emails.. Use at your own risk, or better yet, don't. I would have given them a rating of zero stars except the things they did clean were clean. read more

We had a nasty experience occur at our house, (severe blood loss into our carpet brand new bedroom carpet). It was a traumatic experience and we were stressed that we weren't going to be able to get the blood out of the carpet. (There was a lot of blood and a large area of the carpet was ruined). We called around and many companies just told us to replace the carpet. We spoke to Blackmon Mooring and they said they would at least come and look at it. I am SO glad they did. The treated it, were polite and mindful of the situation while in our home, were respectful of our floors and our home. The stains came out and the staff were compassionate and friendly while they were here. I can't give them a higher recommendation than 5-stars, but I wish I could. They saved us time, money and our sanity. Plus, they got the painful reminder of the incident out of my wife's vision- so that is a huge plus. Great job you guys. I called Blackmon Mooring because I was smelling something horrible in my office and wanted to get my ducts and a/c unit cleaned. I figured something had died in there. Carlos and Ariel arrived on site the same day and were very courteous and professional. They cleaned all the vents without incident. As they were leaving, Carlos said that he was still smelling something bad and was going to find it. This was outside their scope of work, but they started lifting ceiling tiles one by one...until they found it. A huge dead and very gooey rat! We all nearly threw up, but they removed the rat, cleaned and disinfected the area. These guys went above and beyond. I would never hesitate to call them. Awesome service. read more

Came home in early June to a house flooded from a leaking outtake tube on our washing machine--GAH!! A waterlogged utility room and hallway, and wetness right through the walls to the bathroom, den, and family room...ARRGHHH! Hubby was abroad for work and wasn't picking up...and this was the nite before flying out of state for our son's college graduation followed by 2 more weeks out of the country! ...I STARTED TO PANIC! Our USAA insurance sent Blackmon Mooring out right away to tackle the water mitigation--*Sean Palmer* was FANTASTIC! As he reassured me that everything was going to be alright, he was also getting right to work...moving the heavier pieces of furniture (some I couldn't move myself) away from the wet area, taking up carpet and padding, and tearing out wet baseboards w speed and efficiency...all the time telling me it would all be taken care of...then he was drilling holes in the sheetrock near the floor and spraying an antimicrobial to prevent mold...he explained about the 5 industrial dryers that he'd be positioning and how they'd be loud but would do the trick, and needed to be running for a few days straight w someone who'd be checking in daily ...due to awful timing, we didn't have anyone who could suddenly arrange to be at our home while we were away, but luckily, instead of having to just hand our keys over and hope for the best, there is a secure lockbox they can hang on your front door w your house key tucked safely inside just for the tech who will be monitoring the drying-out process on a daily basis...it was all working out! *Ruben Aldana* was the monitor tech who came each day to check on our home and adjust the fans while we were far, far away, and he kept our house safe and sound and locked back up after each visit. I got to meet him in the morning before we headed out to the airport and he really put me at ease about leaving (I'd originally thought I would have to stay in town and miss my kiddos graduation 0.o) And finally, *Antoine Curry* the water supervisor who followed up on our job right away when we realized the venting to our dryer must have been knocked off or out of position...he responded so quickly telling us he could take care of it right away, and he did! Thank you for the wonderful techs and supervisors you have working for you at Blackmon Mooring...they have fantastic customer service skills and came to my rescue when I needed it most!!! read more

My insurance company hired Blackmon-Mooring to take care of some water damage (rip out old flooring, install new flooring, fix drywall/baseballs, etc.) and mediate further damage (i.e., drying things out). I thought they did a good job. Both the mediation team, the project managers, and the installation team were very polite and helpful. The only minuses (all minor) for me was that it took a while to schedule the install, it took a little longer than expected to finish installing, and the workspace and room could have used some additional tidying. I enjoyed working with them enough that I plan to use them to install flooring in another room. read more

Terrible company, terrible Customer service and complete lack of follow-up. Do not use this company!! We had them come to our home to clean our couch that was dry clean only. The couch was not incredibly dirty but you could tell that after 3-years of use, it just needed to be freshened up. After Blackmon Mooring came to dry clean it, the couch was left worse than when they arrived. They got the couch wet and the residue from whatever they used was left on the couch. We originally thought it was damp and it would dry, but that was not the case. We called them to come back and re-clean the couch and they did. When the guy came to clean the couch the second time he even told us that the first guy definitely got the couch too wet and it left the huge mark. He said that if this second cleaning didn't take care of it, they would return to clean it again. Needless to say, the mark left from the first cleaning did not come out with the second cleaning so we called to have them come back. After several emails and phone calls, two weeks later they scheduled a time to come back. However, they never showed up.They didn't call to cancel or call to apologize afterwards...they just didn't show up. Ever since, my husband and I have been calling and emailing the operating manager AND HIS BOSS and they have never responded. It has been over a month now since the second cleaning. Seriously unprofessional and unacceptable. Our couch is now worse off than it was before the cleaning. So...we paid over $100 for them to make our couch worse and they can't even respond to a voicemail or email. Terrible company. Do not use them!!! read more

A really bad experience made none the better by this really awful outfit. Most of the individual workers who came out were nice and competent, but there was a serious lack of coordination and management. Most of our things were removed from our house. While ostensibly there was a tagging process, it was so lackluster and whimsical that it really was form over substance. An expensive rug went missing. Blackmon-Mooring's response: "we don't have it on the inventory. Too bad, so sad!" Well, doh! How can we possibly know if things are in an inventory when there is no way to see what is inventoried and what isn't? A bowl was broken. Blackmon-Mooring's response... first, "that's not our problem"... then, "we'll pay for it after you pay us." Which of course put us at the mercy of them and the insurance company figuring out who owes who what. Basically, if you have the luxury of time to choose a remediation company, don't use these guys unless you like incompetent management who do not want to take responsibility for their work. read more

I had a large fire and extensive damage. My insurance company recommended Blackmon Mooring. I would rather have done the work myself. They were slooooow as molasses and their methods were incomprehensible. The people cleaning the insulation and ceilings from the floor threw away every little thing they encountered, to include money and other things not damaged at all. then packers moved from one room to another without finishing anything. they put dirty ashtrays in boxes then threw away perfectly good belongings. I found them digging through jewelry on my dresser so intently that they didn't even notice me standing 3 feet away for more than 30 seconds. They packed up rooms they were explicitly told not to go into. We had several folks claim they didn't speak English yet one also claimed to be a veteran. You don't get to be a Military veteran without speaking English. Some of my belongings that were perfectly fine before they showed up were totally ruined by their personnel and their carelessness. The management and supervisors that we spoke with were outstanding and reassuring. But the actual work was shoddy. Now, a month after I fired the crew, I have discovered that credit cards were stole from my bedroom while they were in my home. Perfect. After the already traumatic event of a major fire and being displaced, I find that I allowed thieves into my sanctuary as well. Do not ever hire these people. Do not believe the reassurances of quality work. It's nothing but lip service. read more

These guys came out to clean my carpets, approximately 1800sf. The only items to move were two sofas and a coffee table, the rest of the house is tile and wood or empty. I thought the job was average at best. I asked about several stains and was told they would never come out, not quite believing it but they are supposed to be the experts. I asked point blank if he had moved the sofas and coffee table and cleaned under them, I was told "Yes Sir! I did!". Three days later I need to move the sofa to make room for an event and discovered that under the sofas and coffee table it was black and had apparently not been cleaned! This was very embarrassing as I had visitors in my home. I took pictures and we called the company. They did schedule a redo, but they sent the exact same guy out to do it! I asked him why he told me he had cleaned under the sofas and he adamantly says he did. If there is one thing I have a low tolerance for is being lied to especial twice! I am uncomfortable with this same guy cleaning my house again but I cannot reschedule due to leaving town tomorrow. I would not suggest using this company under any circumstances the job is marginal at best and they have no problem lying to you. The guy they sent out seems put out that he has to do it again so I'm sure it will be a poor job once more. What happened to companies and employees with character and integrity? read more

They would have gotten more stars except for a couple of problems. The communication was not the best, however, the packers and movers were great. When having problems with your house there are things that will always happen. We got struck by lighting and we had to move out while the repairs were done. Brian came and looked at the house and he was very nice however, there were a couple of hiccups. They sent out to small a truck and we had to fill our media room and the double car garage with furniture. Still doable but I requested mattress protectors which I did not get. They did not bring enough pads to protect the furniture on the truck and my good bedroom furniture got damaged. I was told that the cleaning crew would come on the 4th to which I reminded them that it was a holiday and he said no problem. I called Brian on the 3rd to find out what time I was to be there and he said they were closed. He would send a double crew on Sat. along with the furniture. I told Brian I was sure glad I had called HIM and he said he had just found out (I am sure). The cleaning ladies said they found out Wed morning they had the day off. Seven wonderful cleaning women showed up at 10:00 and at 11:00 comes the furniture which created a lot of havoc. 50 boxes were discovered about 6:00 were not on the truck. Spoke with the manager Eric and he was so nice to say the men would come back to warehouse and find the pallet that night. The movers had a very very long day cause they didn't finish till 10:00. Blackmon Mooring recommended by my insurance to take care of hail damage repairs. Hail storm was back in April, work still not complete. They subcontract everything out, which seems to be the way this business works, but their subs leave a lot to be desired. After the new roof, I have picked up about 300 nails, still finding them, even nails in the pool. None of my neighbors have had this problem, their contractors do a much better job covering up pools, bushes, etc. I mentioned this and they said they would clean up more, but last time they came by, picked up a nail right in front of them, silence. Garage door repair also shoddy, they didn't paint the wood completely before installing, so they had to paint edges, sloppy work, looks like kindergarten finger paint. Still gaps that need to be retouched. They also installed the wrong color metal on the metal portion of the roof, tried to initially say I ok'd it, but they just ordered the wrong stuff. Not sure why the workers didn't notice the color difference. Fortunately the sloppy cleanup left metal from both the existing and new panels in my shrubs, was able to show them when they came out last by just grabbing scraps from the bushes right in front of them. They are supposed to finish a few other items, but communication is almost non-existent. I would give them a negative 5 stars if I could. read more

After purchasing a home in November, I had many very dusty renovations and decided I should have my ducts cleaned to alleviate some of the dust. Blackmon Mooring came out. They told me over the phone the cost, so I wasn't surprised, but still a little shocked that I paid over $1000 and they were only there 3 hours. Let me just say I usually give positive reviews, I am not a negative or paranoid person, and I have NEVER accused someone of stealing something from my home. When my kids got home from school, my daughter noticed her Ipad missing. We knew it was on her bed, because she reads before bed on the kindle app. I knew the Blackmon Mooring guys had to either move her bed or get on it to get to the vent in her room, so we tore the room upside down looking for it (the room was organized, we had recently moved). I went to the "find my ipad" app and noticed it was not in our home, but about 10 or so miles away. I locked the Ipad. I knew in my heart what happened, but still waited 1 month to call Blackmon Mooring because I was hoping a better explanation would come. When I finally got the nerve to call, I asked for the manager and was transferred to a crew of guys on the road (the rest of this story is speculation on my part, but I feel fairly certain this is what happened). The guy listened to my story with very exaggerated outrage, almost mocking me and I could tell he was laughing with his partner. I was then fairly sure it was the same guy who actually came to my house for the service (and stole the Ipad). He kept demanding I call the police in a very mocking way, and then told me he promised he would look in to it and call me back the next day. He never took my name or number or address, so I knew when I hung up that this was the end of it. My daughter is sad because she got the Ipad from Santa, who put an inscription on the back of it for her, so me replacing it isn't as good. I would give them a DON'T USE review.
