I'd give this review five stars without hesitation. BOA Steakhouse exceeded every expectation and delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had in Napa Valley. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere immediately stood out. The restaurant is modern, elegant, and incredibly inviting, with stunning live olive trees incorporated throughout the dining room that create a warm, natural focal point. They add so much character to the space, making it feel both luxurious and welcoming. Combined with the soft lighting, stylish décor, and vibrant energy throughout the restaurant, the ambiance alone makes BOA worth visiting. We started with the Parker House rolls, and they were absolutely incredible. Served warm, the rolls had a perfectly golden exterior with an incredibly soft, pillowy center. Rich, buttery, and lightly flaky, they practically melted in your mouth. They're the kind of bread you'll find yourself reaching for long before the entrées arrive. The burrata salad was equally impressive. The burrata was exceptionally fresh, with a delicate outer shell that gave way to an unbelievably creamy center. Every bite was silky and rich, balanced beautifully by the fresh seasonal ingredients that added brightness, texture, and just the right amount of acidity. It was refreshing, elegant, and the perfect way to begin the meal. To start the evening, I ordered the Fire & Smoke cocktail, made with Del Maguey Puebla mezcal, pineapple, pink peppercorn, honey, and firewater bitters. It was easily one of the highlights of the night. The smokiness of the mezcal was beautifully balanced by the sweetness of the pineapple and honey, while the pink peppercorn added subtle spice and complexity. It was layered, refreshing, and incredibly well crafted. Alongside dinner, I enjoyed a glass of the Ink Grade "Andosol" 2019 Zinfandel Blend from Napa Valley. The wine offered rich notes of blackberry, dark plum, baking spice, and earthy undertones that paired beautifully with the steak. It elevated every bite and showcased BOA's thoughtfully curated wine program. The star of the evening was the 16-ounce New York strip. It arrived with a gorgeous caramelized crust that locked in all of the juices and flavor. Cooked perfectly to my requested temperature, the steak was incredibly tender while still offering the satisfying texture that makes a New York strip so special. Every bite was rich, juicy, and packed with deep beef flavor. The quality of the meat and the precision of the preparation were evident from the very first cut. Dessert was the perfect way to end an already outstanding meal. We ordered both desserts, and each one was memorable for completely different reasons. The warm house-baked cookies arrived fresh from the oven with perfectly crisp edges and soft, gooey centers. Paired with creamy vanilla bean ice cream and warm caramel sauce, every bite balanced rich, buttery sweetness with the perfect contrast of warm and cold. The signature chocolate dessert was a chocolate lover's dream. It featured layers of silky chocolate mousse, rich chocolate cream, crunchy cookie crumble, fresh whipped cream, crisp chocolate pearls, and a scoop of chocolate ice cream, all finished with warm chocolate sauce poured over the top. Every spoonful combined different textures and deep chocolate flavors, making it incredibly decadent without feeling overwhelming. It was the perfect finale to an exceptional dinner. The service matched the quality of the food. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations for both the cocktail and wine pairing. Every course arrived at the perfect pace, allowing us to fully enjoy each dish without ever feeling rushed. The hospitality throughout the restaurant was polished, warm, and welcoming. BOA Steakhouse delivers far more than just an excellent steak. Every detail--from the stunning dining room filled with live olive trees to the warm Parker House rolls, fresh burrata salad, expertly crafted Fire & Smoke cocktail, beautifully paired Ink Grade "Andosol" Zinfandel Blend, perfectly cooked New York strip, and unforgettable desserts--comes together to create an exceptional dining experience. The outstanding food, impeccable service, and beautiful ambiance make BOA one of the best restaurants in Napa Valley. I can't wait to return. Five stars without hesitation.

I would like to start off with how much I appreciated our server, Valentino. He definitely provided an experience with the entire menu - very thoughtful, thorough, and personable (I find rare nowadays). We need more Valentino's in hospitality! As for the food, I had ahi poke + hamachi crudo + shrimp scampi + bread rolls + petit filet. I thought the hamachi crudo taste and presentation was incredible. The bread rolls were very hard to keep my hands off of. The petit filet was just the right size for me after all that food. As for the shrimp + ahi: the shrimp was a tad bit undercooked, so I would have liked to have seen that cooked through for 30 extra seconds + the ahi had good flavor, but not as fresh as I always hope ahi to be! Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Attended BOA's soft opening with investors and I was impressed from the moment we entered with a friendly greeting, the pleasant open air seating complete with olive trees, the conviviality of the staff throughout the meal and the quality of the food. Here's the feast that we had: Parker House Rolls - contains rosemary Jumbo Shrimp Scampi - amazing shrimp, we kept the sauce Nueske's Thick Cut Bacon - black pepper caramel (SE Asian flavor) Spicy Tuna Cones with caviar and gold leaf - light/crispy cones stuffed with tuna, a table favorite Tableside Caesar Salad - great salad presented with flair, must get NY Strip - best I've ever had, flavorful and tender, served with 3 sauces Westholme Australian Wagyu Ribeye - cooked to order Salmon filet - expertly prepared with the crispy exterior, a favorite Crispy Brussels Sprouts & Chorizo - tasty and very crispy without tasting burnt, I could eat this all day Smashed Broccoli - like a purée Crispy Tallow Fries - who doesn't like fries Mashed Potatoes - smooth and creamy Chicken Parmesan - lots of cheese and sauce Sticky Toffee Pudding served with Ice Cream Cheesecake served with Ice Cream BYOB - Colgin and Abreu Definitely a special meal with special friends to share it with. Looking forward to returning.

The restaurant Napa didn't know it needed. Ate at BOA last night and it did not disappoint. I will caveat my review with the understanding that it was the soft opening (3rd day open when I was there) and the sole purpose is to work out the kinks and make those adjustments. I went with a 3 other friends and we did some damage on the menu. We had the bread rolls, spicy ahi cones (a favorite), shrimp scampi, Wagyu eggrolls, bacon, and goat cheese baklava to start. Then we split some A5 Wagyu, porterhouse and Australian ribeye. For sides we had corn brûlée, brussel sprouts, tallo frites. Food, again with the understanding of a soft opening, was on point. The temperature could've been warmer on some items, but flavor profile and presentation did not miss. Service was good. It would be unfair to be too critical - it's a completely new staff, learning not only to work together, but learning the menu, the kitchen, etc. It was somewhat slow at times between courses, and I had to ask for my drink to be filled. I'm not dinging them because it's like putting at newly licensed driver on a race track and rating them. The manager was roving around and was very pleasant and thankful for our feedback. I'll update the review in a couple of months when I go back. Overall, definitely try this place. While Napa has some truly amazing restaurants, including fan favorites like Cole's and Cordeiro's Steakhouse, those places should take notice of BOA. They might be bullying their way onto the scene and become a powerhouse in Napa. Well done.

First night at BAO and we really enjoyed it. We sat outside under two huge olive trees and the setting was beautiful especially in the evening with the heaters keeping it cozy. The standouts: the baked potato and the steak tartare. The tartare wasn't on the menu, but we had heard about it from one of their other locations and were so glad we asked. It arrived under a cloche and when it was lifted, dry ice created a dramatic visual effect such a fun presentation and it tasted as good as it looked. We started with the spicy tuna cones and we loved the presentation. We shared one steak and four sides. The smashed broccoli was unusual and good, the Brussels sprouts were excellent, and the French fries potatoes were extra crispy and paired perfectly with the aïoli. FYI, The entrance is around the side of the hotel.

We came in for the soft opening last night, and mike was our server. He had the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, and his knowledge of both the food and beverage made the experience even more enjoyable. We've dined at BOA in Las Vegas before but never had the main courses, so we were looking forward to experiencing more of the menu. Not a single dish disappointed. We started with a dozen oysters, the Petrossian Royal Ossetra Caviar( the crispy pillows!!!) , Hamachi Crisps, and the tableside Caesar salad. We each enjoyed a cocktail before moving on to two bottles of Billecart-Salmon Blanc de Blancs NV. Patrick, the AGM and sommelier, made us feel especially welcome, stopping by to introduce the champagne and chatting with us. For our mains, we shared the Westholme Australian Wagyu Ribeye, the Japanese Wagyu Steak Flight, and the Chilean Sea Bass with a Nova Scotia Lobster Tail. Alongside them, we ordered the creamed spinach, truffle mashed potatoes, and Corn cream brûlée Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. To end the evening, we enjoyed the Sticky Toffee Pudding and Mascarpone Cheesecake. From the food to the service, the entire experience felt polished, welcoming, and genuinely hospitality-driven. We had a wonderful evening and are already looking forward to coming back

What a great restaurant! Located in the Casa Mani hotel in Napa (formerly Embassy suites hotel) which has been nicely remodeled and upgraded by the way. The restaurant, indoor/ outdoor wine country vibe! Upscale rustic with beautiful olive trees. Great ambiance! Our servers were the highlight of our experience! Talor and Meghan were Exceptionally good and happy to help us navigate the menu. I started with a Boa-Loma, their twist on a Paloma, delicious! Now let's talk food, the wagyu cigars, Hokkaido scallops and table side Caesar salad were all very good. We also thoroughly enjoyed our entrees , lobster fra diavolo and Sea bass with grilled blood orange. Oh and who doesn't love a loaded baked potato! For dessert, strawberry three ways, (strawberry meringues, sliced strawberries and strawberry ice cream) yum! And a toffee pudding cake with a caramel sauce. Already looking forward to our next visit! 5 stars, excited to have BOA Steakhouse in Napa!

We checked out the new BOA in Napa, and it completely blew us away. From the second we walked in, every single server and staff member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The restaurant's interior is absolutely beautiful. They did an amazing job with the design and the atmosphere is perfect for a great night out. As for dinner? Every single dish we ate was mouth-watering. Aside from the delicious tomahawk, items that stood out were the tableside caesar, scallops, spicy tuna cones, wagyu cigars, and the twice baked potato with caviar, which was probably my favorite! I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. We will absolutely be back! Special thanks to Ana, who took care of us the entire night and elevated the overall experience.

Excellent food and atmosphere! Each time I visit this new location I have more reasons to return! Service is TOP TIER.

If you pay your bill thru the QR code, you will be charged a platform service fee.

My biggest concern is that there was no transparency about a platform service fee. If you pay your bill thru the QR code, you will be charged a platform service fee. The server did not mention this, the paper receipt did not mention this, and upon clicking the QR code it does not mention this on the web page til after including the tip. Pay your bill with the server instead. Also, being that this restaurant is new to Napa, the service was absolutely slow on a Thursday night with multiple workers on the floor. That's understandable that they're still figuring things out. The skirt steak was delicious but the table side ceasar salad was a little too spicy from too much raw garlic. Drinks were tasty too.

The to-go bag they gave me.

I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. While the lobster salad wasn't the best I've ever had, it was a very solid bite for a dive-lounge-style bar. I'd skip the chips it comes with, but the fries are absolutely worth ordering. One small service hiccup worth mentioning: the fries are listed as coming with a herb aioli, but mine arrived with ketchup. When I asked about the aioli, my server initially tried to play it off before eventually sharing that they were out. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but it was an odd interaction that could have been handled more directly. The atmosphere is a dark, casual lounge with a cozy hole-in-the-wall feel along the river. This place is a new favorite of mine…read more I think as I go to more and more Tiki Bars, I really gravitate to the ones that have more unique drinks. I make drinks at home. I've had a traditional Mai Tai a million of times. Do you have Tiki Drinks that are going to make me want to drive 45 minutes to you? On top of that, is your food worth it? I'm happy to say that the answer to both of these questions are yes. I've gone here 3 times within the last two weeks and one item that is a constant order is the Orange Chicken. Nowadays I think people are used to the classic super sweet Panda Express style Orange Chicken that you'll also see occasionally at your local Chinese food restaurant. Wilfred's Orange Chicken definitely is sweet but its not as sweet as what I used to and I'm not mad about it. There's a lot of depth with the sauce. I don't know if they are just putting more soy sauce or dark soy sauce...Maybe it's Oyster/Fish sauce? Theres definitely some kind of extra Umami going on. An added plus is that it pair perfectly with the tanginess of the Pineapple Fried Rice. For drinks my favorites have been the Manta Ray and the Sanfroyosko. The reason being is just because these have been the more unique ones that I've been really enjoying. The Manta Ray is more tropical than one might think. However it's tropical with a bit of funk. The combination of the Gin, Falernum, and Sauv Blanc Syrup really add to the complexity. The other drink I really like is the Sanfroyosko. If you are a Mai Tai lover, this is the one to try. The substitution of the typical tums with the Shochu, Sake and Pisco add even more of a Wine and floral flavor profile to the drink. On top of that the Sesame Orgeat gives and even more nuttier flavor than normal. But despite all these flavors going on, it still kinda tastes like a Mai Tai. The service has always been amazing. Every person who has served us has served us with a smile. But even despite how friendly they are, there still remains this sense of professionalism with their interactions. They check in at the perfect times. They ask how we are enjoying everything and share their favorite things to drink/eat. With the amazing tiki decor and island music, you really do feel like you are on an Island anytime you eat here.

Stopped by this establishment with high hopes for the food and ambiance, the ambiance and service…read morewas exceptional but everything else not so great. Let me break down how everything faired The location for this spot is easily accessible and it does stick out from the other restaurants, so kudos points on location and presentation for the restaurant. So here is the sad part the food was not up to par. Here is everything we sampled Spam fries - breaded and deep fried, placed in a spam can for presentation, it was piping hot, slight crunch for anyone that has not sampled this before let us just say it is different good deep fried pickles - if I see this on the menu I try it wherever it is offered, the pickles did not have a snap, tasted old, dipping sauce on side was ok but the pickles sadly did not taste fresh natsubi - fancy musubi with spam just added furikake and drizzled with sauce on the smaller side but it was decent smash burger - made with two patties regular hamburger bun, not sure why but both patties were dry and overly burnt, less then a 3rd of the burger was finished by my son saying they messed this up bad, my daughter ordered same thing had less then a bite saying it was to burnt to eat wife had the teriyaki salmon plate, for the most part had a nice glaze and tasted good my kids who really don't like fish picked off my wifes plate both saying it was good we ordered several drinks to wash down all their dislikes lol for the kids non-alcoholic and for us alcoholic Manta Ray - several alcohols in this drink it was strong and good, definitely order this Ube-Bae-Baby - pineapple, coconut, ube this was made well I would order this again Banana Dreams - banana, grapefruit, lime, pineapple this was also flavorful I would order this again Pagan Ritual - i could taste the rum but not sure what else was added but I would also order this again of the 4 drinks the presentation of the manta ray and pagan ritual were really well done, put those on your instagram feed again for the food I would not eat here again but for the drinks, ambiance and liveliness of the place definitely a place you want to experience for yourself food ** pass on the food price $$$ service ***** top notch service, helpful staff, friendly staff ambiance ***** been to my share of tiki bars location for this one is spot on, it was open and very visible based on looks alone from other restaurants in the area
