Sunshine Skillet - potatoes a bit undercooked
    Rich G.

In Palm Coast haven't been to a Bob Evans in a while thoughts we would try their breakfast. I had the Sunshine bowl okay not great. Potatoes undercooked and not much sausage. Good news it was hot. Decaf coffee a bit weak. Wife had the western omelette it looked good and her potatoes had a better look. Service good. Food okay not great. So it's a 3/5.

First time stopping in here. The ambiance was laid back and relaxing. The home feel made it seem like those times I used to go out with the grandparents. The food was incredible. The country biscuit plate had a smooth home style gravy with eggs and sausage. The home fries were great to complement. The kids loved the macaroni and cheese. Each kid meal came with apples or a sundae. Top of the line service and great food!

I was mistaken on check in questions, they do serve alcohol. Even mimosas. Haven't eaten at one in about 15 years or so, it has not changed one bit. I was very pleased with the sunrise savers. I had the mini breakfast which was $3 less than the same one on the regular menu, only difference was 1 egg instead of 2. He had the 2 egg one. The home fries were just the cubed ones, I prefer sliced (with some onion), but everything was, in a word, acceptable. I liked the option to get a kid sized milk, which was still over 8 oz. The biscuits are homemade as well as their bread. Their lunch & dinner menu looked good, breakfast is served all day. They have cold brew coffee!

'Everything Omlette' & superb Hollandaise sauce... quite tasty & big enough for two! Great conversation among friends, couples, veterans & families enjoying time to sit down for a hearty meal, many with Mimosas ;) Clean , disinfected tables & benches in our booth & those around us. Servers seemed attentive to customers, but not intrusive... a good balance. Parking lot was def more full when exiting vs arrival. Clean parking lot, too.

Service was speedy and the food was as expected. The ambiance was your typical Bob Evans. A good place for a casual meal

This is a solid restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food! The floor carpet was a bit messy but that didn't deter from our dining experience. My husband ordered a breakfast of fried chicken, gravy, biscuits, and eggs which he thoroughly enjoyed. I tried a bite of the chicken and it was addictively juicy and flavorful! My BLT lunch sandwich with hearty beef vegetable soup was just as delicious and filling. Our greeter was super friendly as was our waitress who checked on us often. We'll definitely be back to try more from their vast menu offerings.

Stopped for a quick breakfast with the whole family. The youngest ordered this and loved it!

I ordered the grilled wings with buffalo sauce and a steak wrap that came with a creamy worchestishire (worsterchire... Worcestershire... there it is. I knew autocorrect would kick in eventually.) sauce on it. I very much liked the grilled wings, I've never been to a place that doesn't just deep fry them and as a diabetic without a gallbladder, I generally don't get to have wings. It was a nice texture and I rather enjoyed them. I did make the mistake of eating them first though, which was great for the wings BUT not great for my wrap because while the sauce on it was delicious, it made my wrap completely soggy. It would be infinitely better on the side, or learn from my mistake and eat the wrap first so you can enjoy the taste AND the texture. The ambiance is pretty cool if you are into sports bars. There are approximately 114 big screen TVs hanging around the place playing all the sports, and one playing trivia, which is more my jam. The bartenders were all super friendly and the locals were all super nice too. Apparently they do half off wings or BOGO wings on Mondays, which everyone recommends coming back for like they do. This was a very pleasant way to spend the evening when I was visiting a new town by my lonesome.

It's got that perfect mix of sports bar energy and casual family dining. The bar side has the buzz, the restaurant side is a little more chill, and both have plenty of TVs if you're here to catch the game. The staff is consistently friendly and quick, even on busy nights, and the food is always solid. Wings, burgers, wraps -- we've tried a little of everything, and it's all good. (Special shoutout to their fries -- crispy, golden perfection.) When it comes to wings, we're partial to ordering them "well Wally wet" -- trust me, that's the move. The guys love the "everything sauce," which is exactly what it sounds like: a mix of all their sauces in one glorious combo. You can even order all flats for a small upcharge, which is a nice touch for fellow wing purists. We just celebrated our son's 20th birthday here, and the GM surprised us by buying dessert for the table. Totally unexpected and so appreciated! It's little touches like that that make a place feel local-loved rather than just local-known. Whether you're watching the game, grabbing dinner after work, just giving your kitchen a night off, or having a celebration, Houligan's Palm Coast is one of those dependable spots that never misses.
