    Two biscuit breakfast
    J E.

I used to really like Bob Evans, but the past few times I've gone, the experiences were mediocre at best. On this recent visit, I went for breakfast on a weekday morning. They weren't busy, so service was somewhat quick. The first thing I asked about on the menu came with ham and when I asked about subbing it out for sausage, my server told me there were no substitions. I found this odd, considering they supposedly make everything fresh to order. The entrée I ultimately chose was their two biscuits meal which comes with a side of sausage gravy. When the food came out it looked adequate, but not as appetizing as the picture in the menu. Flavors were OK, but luke warm. At least the coffee was good. I think I'm done coming to Bob Evans Restaurants... I'll go to IHOP or Wafflehouse next time.

    A varied menu!

Never disappoints! Better to come in and the morning crew was fully staffed! We got our order in less than 10 minutes. It was nice to see how efficient the crew turned tables and kept the place clean. My mini breakfast sampler was just enough and their Arnold Palmer was served with a choice of sweetened or unsweetened tea! Soft relaxing music in the background and soft murmur of families enjoying a nice sit-down.

First time here and I enjoyed brunch with my girls after a bachelorette's party! Our server was so kind and attentive (forgot the name sorry) but if I were to be back in this area, I am for sure stopping by

I rarely visit Bob Evans, but today we decided to go and have dinner. I was very surprised. The quality of the food, the service of the waitress, and the ambience of the restaurant was A-Plus! After ordering my food, I had to ask my waitress who cooked it and she said it was the manager. I was very impressed that the food came out looking exactly like the photo and the taste was absolutely delicious. Keep up the great work management and staff!

I came here with a party of ten. They had already been seated by the time I arrived. This was my second visit here. I ordered coffee, water and a Southwest Avacado Chicken Dinner. I did not enjoy the recipe of the southwest but overall the food was cooked well. The broccoli looked great and tasted amazing but only because they slathered it in melted butter. Potato's did not have any add ons so everyone had to add salt to them. Chicken was not too dry which it is very difficult to do that with chicken breast. So kudos to the chef. Place is a two star place due to the bland food but a three star due to the great service the young 20 year old waitress of ours. I do not remember her name but she was great.

We were there 1st thing on a Sunday. Service is slow but the food comes out at decent pace. Dishes and silverware aren't very clean and everything on the table is pretty greasy and sloppy when served. We would have left if I saw the below items before we ate. While there some of the male staff used the restroom and then returned to the kitchen without washing their hands. Bathrooms were disgusting and not cleaned for weeks. Honestly I've seen cleaner gas station bathrooms.

It came with two slices of French toast with just the right touch of spices, home fries, and homemade sausage patties (way better than the greasy commercial ones!). I also ordered a plain latte, which was excellent. No notes. My mom (who is 82 and VERY particular) ordered the "Uncle Richard" plate that came with two eggs, choice of meat (ham), home fries, and choice of pancakes or French toast (she chose pancakes). She also reported everything was delicious. ("Although I would rather have hash browns." Sigh. It's always something, ain't it?) She also ordered plain coffee. For someone who does not like to deviate from DD Keurig coffee, she thought the coffee was "Very good!" Widewater Grille gets its Cuban beans directly from Key West. Mom also reported the Women's Restroom was very nice. So there's that for your consideration. We will definitely be going back. Mom (who hates leaving the house these days) even called a friend on the way home and said the three of us need to go together soon. THAT is a better rating than Michelin could even dream of giving.

What a fantastic surprise!…read more My fiancé and I were in town visiting friends and originally planned to go to Waffle House for breakfast, but the wait was crazy. My brother, who lives in the Stafford area and is a serious foodie, recommended Widewater Grill. Honestly, it's the kind of place you could easily drive right past without realizing what you're missing. We are so glad we stopped. I had Uncle Richard's Breakfast with eggs, green peppers and onions, bacon, home-fried potatoes, and French toast. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. The home fries tasted truly homemade, which is harder to find than you'd think. The coffee was excellent, served in a real mug, and I loved being able to refill it myself. My fiancé ordered the 12-ounce strip steak cooked medium, and he hasn't stopped talking about it. He said it was cooked perfectly, which is something even many chain restaurants struggle to get right. What really stood out was the atmosphere. The service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant has that local, family-run feel that immediately makes you comfortable. As a retired Marine family, we also appreciated the Marine Corps traditions and military pride displayed throughout the restaurant. Great food, great service, great conversation, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!

Came in based on a friend's recommendation, and honestly...solid call. First thing: the food is authentic. If you're craving real island flavors without hopping on a plane, this spot delivers. I went straight for the classic: Pernil with Arroz con Gandules. Flavor was on point, tender, well-seasoned...though I'll admit, I was hoping for just a little piece of that crispy cuerito to take it from "wow" to "transported back to Abuela's kitchen." Now let me tell you what was ON FIRE: Mofongo with Camarones a la Criolla / al Ajillo -- absolutely the standout dish. The mofongo was packed with flavor, the shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the sauce brought everything together. Highly recommended if you come here...don't even think twice. The family started with appetizers--beef empanadas, mini alcapurrias, and croquetas de jamón--and those were definitely the highlights. Great taste overall. Visually, it looked like the oil might've been a bit on the older side (or maybe cooked a little too hot) since some items came out darker than expected...BUT the flavor still showed up. A couple things didn't fully hit: The Cuban sandwich wasn't bad, but the bread just wasn't quite right. Let's be real...Miami spoils us. Up here, Cuban bread is basically a unicorn. The vanilla flan was decent, but the custard texture was a little more firm/condensed than my personal preference. One note: they're still waiting on their liquor license, so no alcoholic drinks yet--but honestly, the food held its own. Prices are pretty standard restaurant range--about $15 per plate, so for a family of five you're looking at that mid-range dinner outing. And the best part? I wanted the Chuleta Kan Kan, but they had just sold the last one...so yeah...I'll definitely be back . If you're in the Aquia Harbor area and want Puerto Rican food that feels like the real deal, this is a great stop. The environment is small but allows for a good time with family and friends. There is outdoor seating available but currently too cold for that.
