I can't count the number of times I've driven past this place and didn't know I could get some Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee so close to me! They had a large menu which I was surprised and can't wait to try some other food options they have. Parking lot is very small but there is street parking too. Service was quick and inside is very small so no place to sit down and relax, but the Thai tea was great!

After a health checkup, we were craving for a quick summer evening snack. We have ordered Sesame balls, Passion Fruit Smoothie Boba, Pina Colada Smoothie Boba and Pad Thai for a quick evening snack for my Toddlers and us. The smoothies are really refreshing. Kids also loved it. Kids really liked the PadThai. It was sweet and savoury for me but the kids enjoyed it as it was not spicy. Sesame balls are really worth the price. 3 balls for 1$. The order was prepared very quickly. We picked up our order and went to nearby Kids park , admiral kidd park and enjoyed our evening snack to the fullest as it was a hot summer evening. Would definitely go back to try different food varieties and will definitely recommend it to my friends.

My family usually orders their egg rolls for catering. Always so fresh, crispy and delicious. These are always a hit at parties and never last long. Today my sister wanted a Thai tea, since we were nearby we stopped in to grab a drink and food. Vermicelli combo was soooo good. Very large portion. Plus you know I had to get a side of the crispy egg rolls & sesame balls. I will definitely come back to try their banh mi. Highly recommend 10/10

Amazing staff and drinks. I need to come back to try some food! Small store knocks a mighty punch and deserves some recognition at providing the west side of long beach with some great service! This place was plenty busy during the after school rush but they handled it like pros. Because of their little panda on their cups, I was able to count this as part of my "30 before 30" adventure to go to 30 tea stores (preferably animal theme) before I'm 30!

Ok so I drove over here because of the good reviews and my god- so not disappointed. First of all, service was great. The guy taking my order was down to earth. The place does seem small, but ok to take your food to go which seems the locals do. My Bahn Mi was blissfully tasteful. I devoured that probably less than a minute!

I love this place! It's gives such a homey feel for me. Affordable prices and delicious. My favorite thing to get is the milk tea and Thai tea special and some of their delicious egg rolls! This is definitely a west side Long Beach staple and must try!

Omg... didn't realize I've never rated this local gem! The best Banh Mis I've personally had! The bread is soft (and usually warm depending on time of day) the egg rolls are heaven - so crispy and yummy with the sauce! Super fast and kind, never have had an issue here and it has become a go to for us. Their coffee/Thai tea/boba is amazing too! Really can't go wrong at this quaint place. So cozy and yummy!!!

The tea tastes amazing. The service was nice and fast. The ambiance is calm, steady. The shop is small but definitely great for grab n go. Can't wait to come again

Great prices for good food and drinks. I got the pork spring rolls and Jasmine milk tea. For the spring rolls I asked for peanut sauce and I was disappointed in it; it tastes more like a soy/teriyaki with peanuts on top, I do not recommend it. I got the jasmine tea at 25% sweetness and I loved that it really tasted like jasmine tea. Service was good and quick, the inside is small, more of a to go vibe.

    Vietnamese Fast Food to Go!!!

Fast Service BOBA / Vietnamese Sandwiches/ Vermicelli TO GO!!!!!!!!! Highly recommended!!

My first visit I waited like 20mins near closing, which is waaaay better than the hour it was beforehand. And on a recent visit there was essentially no wait. I'm not sure I'd come back as I have other boba shops I much prefer nearby me.

They changed the name subtle enough to avoid a lawsuit, but the changes in the menu and the quality of the drinks are far more drastic, and it's not for the better. Gone are the traditional teas and sesame jelly that made Hechalou so famous. These options are replaced by cheap imitations of Starbucks' frothy drinks that sound good on paper but taste like iced piss with sugar. The drinks are excessively sweet, a mortal sin by Asian standard, and they have a generic taste that might as well have one item on the entire menu. Alas, to get a sip of the old favorites, now I have to drive across town instead of stop by after work. I am glad that I got my many trips here before the old guards died, and it's probably better for my hemoglobin A1c in the long run.

Classics such as the brown sugar milk with boba and jasmine green are my go-to's. It was all just too much to resist, so here I am. Go ahead, give me the liquid crack and let me relish every yummy sip. My go to is Oreo Brûlée Boba Milk with little ice, 100% sweetness + cheese foam & xtra Oreo. I ordered at the kiosk and then noticed the signs near the register. One stated "cards only, no cash", the other asked for patience as there was only one person working to fulfill orders. He never stopped! Those order tickets kept printing and he just kept on working. When a family came in and opted to order at the counter, he patiently worked through each of the 4 kids and the parent to make sure everyone got what they wanted. Looking at my time stamps, I only waited about 10 minutes and he thanked me for my patience. My drink was everything I remembered it to be - DO NOT SLEEP ON CHEESE FOAM!!! They recommend shaking your drink 17 times, but I say rebel! Enjoy each layer. That cheese foam floating on top deserves its own sweet, creamy attention. Ambiance??? Hmmm....Not much, honestly. Sunright used to be a cute Insta kinda vibe, but now it seems a bit tired and in need of a refresher. Since the kiosk order boards, customers pretty much enter, head to kiosks, enter orders, pay, then take a seat on the long bench lining the wall across from the prep/kitchen area, silently scrolling screens while waiting. Drink is made, ticket gets stuck on cup and name called. Done. It may be another few years before I return, considering how much I've cut sugar out of my daily routine, but when I do, I hope that consistently chewy, perfectly fresh boba at the bottom and the sweet, creamy cheese foam on top are still there to welcome me back to Oreo Brûlée Boba Milk tea euphoria. Cheers! "CC"
