They're known for their Woodear drinks I believe because of the pretty contrasting colors and the boba they use, but it's honestly more aesthetically pleasing than it is for taste. I had their boba milk tea woodear and it was pretty basic and my partner got the strawberry drink, which was so-so. Their drinks came out a little slow, but I think they only have like 2-3 ppl working in the kitchen, so just a heads up if you're in a rush The custard wheel was okay and had too much of an egg taste to it. It's smaller than it looks and was a little dry. Even the custard was a little dry and that's not normal lol. Whipped cream is smeared around the cup and the slush put in the middle for nice pictures. I asked for less sweetness, and the slush itself was distinctly taro flavored, which I liked. I chose to add the blue, woodear boba and so that and the whipped cream provided all the sweetness. The blue boba was the sweetest part of the drink, and it was the right amount of chewiness and a fun color to boot. Bobacraft Cafe is a pretty nice place to get an assortment of sweet or savory snacks and a drink. It's by no means the best boba in a highly competitive area, but is decent. It's got some variety, ranging from Uji Matcha milk tea to "Dirty" milk tea (which was chocolate milk tea with brown sugar). The Wheelcakes and Popcorn Chicken Deluxe have been my favorite things to pick up so far. I personally like the cheesy espresso flavor, but they have more common flavors like cream custard. The difference between the Popcorn Chicken Deluxe and the normal Popcorn Chicken is that the former comes with fresh onions and garlic, which I'd recommend because it makes it much more fragrant and adds some variety in what you're chewing on. Service is pretty good. Everyone I've ordered from has been very polite and patient. It's ultimately a nice place to either pick something up or sit for a bit to escape the summer heat. read more

Ordered 1 of every wheelcake but they were out of Peppery Cabbage and Tuna and Corn so we substituted for additional cream custard and matcha and red bean until we had 9 for the buy 8 get 1 free wheelcake promo. Wheelcakes took 30 minutes to come out hot and fresh, but worth. I recommend eating it soon after it's served or it will get soft and more spongy. They provide instructions if you want to reheat at home, along with a list of how to identify each wheelcake. Highly recommend cream custard, and matcha and red bean. The regular sugar sweetness was less sweet than some other places but we could really taste the tea. This is actually our preference so we enjoyed the regular sweetness. We actually came here yesterday (Tuesday), but they sold out of their wheel cakes by 6:30pm. Consequently, we ordered some popcorn chicken and fries instead. Popcorn chicken: Their chicken was flavorful and seasoned well. Medium was perfect for us, and it gave the chicken a good kick. It was also still crispy, after we took it home! We would rate 5/5. Fries: They were crispy, but not seasoned evenly throughtout. I had a few bland ones at the top, but the bottom ones had all the salt and pepper. I suggest maybe shaking the box to distribute the seasoning a little, before eating if you have the same problem as us. Overall 3.5/5, I think the seasonings just all dropped to the bottom during the car ride home. The fries themselves were good. But if you're used to taro powder drinks (like my partner), you may not like this flavor as much as me. The taro flavor is strong. Red bean wheelcake: They used fresh red beans and not the canned sweet beans. The beans are soft, but not mushy and were not extremely sweet, like the beans from cans. Also 5/5! We didn't eat the wheel cakes right away after purchasing, so the cakes were soft and a little soggy. I think if I put them in my oven for a few minutes in the future, they'll crisp up again. They share a large parking lot with several businesses on main street, but you should be able to find parking easily. My drink came out first and my popcorn chicken came out right after. My drink was perfect! I liked that I could actually taste pineapple because I could taste some pulp. COVID EDITION I was tired of my usual boba place and I've seen a few pictures of Bobacraft's colorful drinks. Luckily there was even a GrubHub deal. Figured why not! One thing I like to point out is that when you order via GrubHub, the price matches exactly as if you had ordered directly from Bobacraft. Most of the time, the price you see on GrubHub is higher than the restaurants' price. So I appreciated that! Also, you would typically receive a text message via GrubHub letting you know when your order is ready. I waited. Didn't receive anything. Ended up just showing up 10 minutes after the estimated prepared time. So a heads up if you're like me, no "order is ready" message. There is a parking structure located in the back for those who are not a fan of parallel parking. If possible, definitely place an online/phone order. As I was passing a customer to head up to the cashier, she randomly started complaining to me about how she has been waiting for 20 minutes after placing her order. When it was my turned to go up to the cash register, I gave the staff my name. He went in, got my drink, and I was good to go. In and out in under 5 minutes. I ordered the Mango Woodear Crystal. I'll be honest, I ordered it because it looked so pretty in pictures. But another equally important reason why is because I was curious about trying the wood ear in the drink. I've been curious about the woodear drinks and the blue boba. I got the Mango Woodear Crystal which comes with blue boba and it's such a pretty drink!! It has a nice fruity flavor and it wasn't too sweet. The boba has a nice chewy texture and complimented the drink really well. It was refreshing and enjoyable. I was also curious about the wheel cakes but I'll have to order that in advance next time because I didn't have the time to wait. It's also nice that you get one free if you buy eight. I should have checked Yelp beforehand because I just noticed the free drink upgrade for checking in. Oh well maybe next time. read more

My last review was written when Bobacraft just opened and I think it's time for an updated review! For all the times I've been here, the drinks and snacks as been consistent. My favorite is the mango woodear crystal with blue boba which is unique to Bobacraft. I always believe boba is best paired with good popcorn chicken. I finally tried bobacraft's popcorn chicken and it's good!!! So for that, I added the another star! Great service and there's a parking lot in the back. There's also street parking. read more

I wish I came here sooner. I thought it was just another average boba spot among the many other places in the vicinity. Then I decided to give it a shot and I have been going back weekly since. I don't like to deviate from the simple drinks, so I've only tried the oolong, jasmine green, any regular milk tea. All are great. It really depends what you want but it's well made. It makes me feel like it's not the pre mixed stuff (maybe it is, who knows). My favorite is the oolong because you can really taste it compared to other places where it tends to be faint. The best part is their boba! It's really chewy and soft to the core. No stale or undercooked hardness and it's always been consistent. Many places tend to have bad batches or an off day with their boba. So far they've been flawless. read more
