The beef ribs are ginormous and a bit on the fattier side. The donut holes at the end of your meal (also complimentary) were pretty yummy too. The sides were a solid choice, all options included. Very pleased with decision to make a group reservation for birthday. Donny and Isabella from the host planning were very accommodating to our group and our server Josias was super attentive. This left the remainder of the evening open for enjoying a great dinner with friends and family. Those details are what made the evening. Let alone the delicious 14 oz prime rib perfectly done and the mashed potatoes were creamy goodness. I'd say our entire party was extremely satisfied from the appetizers with bacon wrapped jalapeños to their dinners which looked awesome. My favorite barbecue spot in all of Arizona. You can't go wrong with the St. Louis ribs. The Services reliably good. The ambience is the best barbecue ambience you'll ever find. Nothing in the country slaps the way Bobby Q's does. Usually you go to barbecue place and they screw some part of the experience up by giving you plastic silverware or paper plates. Whoever runs this place clearly knows what a good restaurant experiences along with amazing barbecue. Friday February 28, 2025 The Phoenix Cane and Walker Society held the Weekly Luncheon meeting at Bobby Q. We got a great table, behind the Hostess and Donut Island, round, well lit. Ariel took our drink and food orders, delivered the trademark Cornbread Wheels with honey butter. Most of us ordered Perfect Burgers, medium well, the reast had plainer wings, sauce on the side. Our sides were Cole slaw, ranch beans and fries. Our finish was apple cobbler and mini donuts. I made jokes about Perfect Burgers.It really was a delicious meal. Cole slaw here is best in the valley. The beans were Bar b que beans; what I consider Texas Style. Fries, eay em fast before they cool. The Naked Wings were crunchy, crispy, meaty. With a choice of sauce, re-orderable. It was all re-orderable, Yum. The Apple Cobbler and it's full moon of vanilla ice cream waswhack my palate good. Delicious Delicious Delicious! Food was great. Took my parents for the first time as they're very picky and don't like to try new places. They loved it here. From the cornbread, to the tender and delicious ribs, brisket and sausage to the complimentary donuts which they could start a whole business selling that alone, everything was awesome. We had a really amazing experience at this location. I've never been to a restaurant where LITERALLY everything I try is delicious! We did the meal where you Choose 5 different meats! Soooo good fall off the bone! The Mac and cheese is probably the best I've had from any restaurant (yes we try the Mac and cheese everywhere we go). Bobby Q never disappoints! The atmosphere was welcoming and the AC was amazing, especially since it was blazing hot outside. We were greeted right away and seated immediately, which set a great tone for the meal. The manager even checked on our table! Our server was fantastic. He was super friendly and attentive. I loved that they started us off with butter cake and surprised us with complimentary donuts at the end. The Q Rolls are still one of our all-time favorite appetizers here. For mains, we tried the brisket tacos (solid 4/5). I think they'd be even better as a birria-style taco to match the richness of the brisket. The baby back ribs were also a 4/5. The shoestring fries were perfectly crispy without feeling heavy, and the sides, mac & cheese and potato salad, were all 5/5. The service was great, everyone was attentive and friendly and nice. No pushy upsells or anything. The vibe was good, easy breezy, very spacious. The food was not it. I'd rather have wood ranch bbq or even Dave's! It was just sloppy and saucy in a bad way. The brisket was all chopped up and doused in sauce (not at my request) I was expecting a sliced fatty brisket. The beef rib was rubbery and not very tender or flavorful for that matter. We told the server we were needing slower service as we were discussing plans and it was super slow, but the server came by every 5 minutes to see if we were ready to order. There was literally 1 other table on the patio and we were being rushed all night. Really put a damper on the whole night. Also, they used to give a free bag of warm fresh donuts at the end of the meal, and we got two cold stale donuts. We ordered the 2-meat platter (braised beef and bbq chicken) with sides of pecan slaw and mashed potatoes. Also got the perfect burger. Every single element was mouthwatering. While this was my first time dining here it won't be my last. I was not quite ready for how expansive this place is inside. It's really big and also great for large groups. The food was delicious. I had the pork ribs and the rib tips. They were cooked very nicely but I did find the sauce a bit too sweet for my liking. For sides I had slaw and the garlic broccoli. They messed up a great thing! We haven't had Bobby Q for a while so we decided to have it for Sunday dinner. We purchased the Whole Hog Heaven for $83.99 which came to a total of $92.89. This is unacceptable with what you get! They have really went downhill in everything. Call it greed or what have you but we had to put in another order at a different restaurant to feed 4 people! Throw your diet completely out of the window and gorge yourself in all that Bobby Q has to offer. This barbecue restaurant has exceeded expectations on all fronts. This place was packed but there was still enough seating and servers that we got a table immediately for a party of five. We went over the menu and decided to get the Whole Hog Heaven for the five of us. It comes with 2 types of ribs, 2 types of meats, and 3 sides. Look at the attached picture, this is like a BBQ Thanksgiving feast! The meat was marinaded well and the BBQ sauce was good but not overdone. The loaded mash potatoes came with cheese, chives, and bacon which was so good. The Mac and cheese was so creamy and thick. Did I also mention there is complimentary and unlimited cornbread. The cornbread is very fresh, warm, crispy, and crumbly. We also ordered the Q Rolls which are similar to eggrolls but use a puff pastry wrap with a beef filling. Oh and I almost forgot, the end of the meal we received freshly baked mini donuts! This was a nice surprising way to end the meal. They were super fresh, crispy, and tasted like churros. With all this food, we were also pleasantly surprised that everything came out extremely quickly and perfectly made. Service was phenomenal and consistent throughout the night. The tacos were so delicious, full of flavor that was bursting in mouth! I'd say the portion size on the tacos was very good as well. I had the beef ribs which did not resemble beef ribs. My wife, daughter, and son, shared a platter with baby back ribs, brisket, beef ribs, and pulled pork. The brisket was dry and they tried to hide the dryness with sauce. The best thing on the platter was the baby back ribs which if you braise them are hard to mess up. One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. For how loud the restaurant itself is, it's shocking how quickly they try to shame a family if a child cries. A woman (server, manager, or possibly the owner) approached our table in an extremely rude and confrontational manner and demanded that we make our child stop crying because, according to her, customers were "ready to leave" because of it. At no point did she ask if we needed anything or show even the slightest bit of empathy. She didn't ask if everything was okay or if there was anything she could do to help. Instead, she immediately came over to essentially scold us in front of everyone around us. As a mother, the way this situation was handled was incredibly humiliating and unnecessary. Parents already do their best in situations like this, and to be approached so aggressively by staff is completely unacceptable. Customer service should involve basic respect and understanding, especially when dealing with families. What makes it even more frustrating is that we are visiting from out of state and were simply looking for a nice place to eat. Instead, we were made to feel unwelcome and judged. Ironically, we stayed and finished our meal, and there were other children crying in the restaurant as well, not to mention the extremely loud music the entire time. Clearly, noise was not actually the issue. This experience was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. Management should seriously reconsider how their staff are trained to treat paying customers. Hopefully the owners will take this feedback seriously and ensure no other family is made to feel the way we did. read more

A group of 10 of us went to Bobby Qs for barbecue's for lunch after hearing it was a great place to eat. Only one of us had been there before, but we all left impressed! Our waitress, Lenna, was absolutely wonderful. Lenna took great care of all ten of us and made sure everyone had exactly what they needed. That's not easy with a group of ten senior ladies! The food was excellent. From the ribs to the chicken, everything was delicious. I ordered the chicken pot pie, and honestly, it was the best I've ever had (sorry, Mom but it was even better than yours!). We went to the quaint little Bobby Qs and they were closed so we were told about this one from another lady who stopped to eat and that's how we ended up here. We had no idea about this one which turns out is the original. It's cute motif and picture moments spread throughout the establishment. The staff are very friendly especially our waiter Travis. I got the bbq chicken salad and a side of baked potato with sweet tea. Hubby got ribs with corn and sweet tea. We both enjoyed the DELICIOUS food and wish we had one in Bullhead City!!!!
