Wanted to update my review here! After 3 months, finally came back thanks to my friend inviting me out for Bobo the Boba's National Bubble Tea Day deal.. "Buy 1 Get One 50% Off" . She told me she loves getting the milk tea here after telling her of my experience that let me down (their Bobo King drink was way too sweet), I decided to partake in her suggestion! I definitely enjoyed this drink more and was happy that the drink had a very good tea blend taste. It's nice that it already came with a non dairy creamer and the black tea was definitely brewed well. The boba was free thankfully under the "1 Free Topping" menu item for milk teas. The boba was too chewy and soft for me, and was alright. In conclusion, this place is not bad for providing boba / milk tea cravings at a very cheap price!! Been meaning to come here on their grand opening but didn't have the time. Finally got to try it the other day since we were grabbing dinner in the area! This replaced the Jamba Juice I believe. Parking lot is huge and convenient. We walked in and staff were super friendly but also very busy. The place was poppin! We ordered 2 pieces of taiyaki, Oreo and Nutella Banana flavors. We also got a Thai Milk Tea with boba and a small Coffee Brulee which I ended up saving for the next morning and it was perfect! The Thai milk tea was incredible. It's always hard for me to try a new spot's Thai tea because I've always gotten ones that had too much cream/milk or the tea isn't strong enough. They make it so perfect here. AND. Such a plus, their boba is perfected. Super chewy and delicious! The coffee Brulee was on the sweeter side which I expected but still had a great coffee flavor. They had cute decor of their mascot, Bobo and even had a whole poster of a rap song lyrics. The menu is very clear and even rotates with photos that will catch your eye. The star of the show was the taiyaki. We don't have a spot in the valley that makes these anymore since they got rid of SomiSomi at the mall. My bf and I are so incredibly happy that they make delicious taiyaki and perfect boba. Fantastic spot and happy to have them in the valley. Highly recommend trying this place. New Boba Business! Staff and business owner were friendly when we arrived. I would like to say this is their second day of a soft opening. Their grand opening will be the 27th of January. They also mentioned they will be having a raffles and giving out prizes for guest on that day. I ordered the Taro Titan and a Thai Tea both with boba. Unfortunately for me they ran out of the Taro so we ended up having two Thai Teas. The Thai teas were okay. one of our teas was not as tasteful as the other. So a bit of inconsistency. But it's okay I'm sure they will improve. They do have promotion going on for their drinks BOGO free until their grand opening. This place is alright! Boba is a little hard/chewier, but the drink combinations are a bit different than what already exists in the valley. Came on a Sunday evening, around 7:30PM and there were several parties waiting for their drinks. We got our order quickly, though. They have BOGO for their soft opening, until their grand opening on 1/27/24. Got the Camo Crush with boba and the Dragon Slayer with Aloe Vera, which came out to $7.20 with tax (and the BOGO deal). Camo Crush was a solid drink at 50% sweetness while the Dragon Slayer was refreshing (a combination of lychee slush, mango bits, and dragon fruit), also at 50% sweetness. I liked the Camo Crush more! SO said he'd order it at 25% sweetness. Worth a try! Good friendly service as well as decent parking, as it's in the same lot as Galleria and Honey Baked Ham. read more

I tried the matcha man drink and I love the strawberries in it. Who knew matcha balances so well with strawberry. And it has real strawberries in it, so delicious! The service is super friendly. This place is consistently good. It is never slow and they are quick to make drinks. Today, my almost 2 year-old and I came in. Eddie was behind the counter. He was super kind and attentive. Ambiance was nice, there was a claw machine! It wasn't noisy and there were a few people in the store. I also had the taiyaki which was so good I finished it before I could get a picture of it. The brown sugar milk tea was really good! I had boba and pudding in mine, it was on the sweeter side which I like. We also had the mango tea made with black tea which was really good! I am always in a search for good boba in the Valley. I stumbled on this boba shop on my way to the Korean market. I ordered their Matcha Green Milk Tea and my husband got their Strawberry Milk Tea. The drinks were underwhelming. After about 30 minutes, the matcha powder in my milk clumped together and the whole drink became pretty bitter. It definitely doesn't hold well like the matcha drinks that I've had in other boba shops. My husband's Strawberry Milk Tea was literally just milk and strawberry puree. I'm not sure why they listed under the "Milk Teas" section if there isn't any tea... but I think that's our bad for choosing the drink without fully reading the description in the bottom of it. Overall, I think it's a cute shop for people who likes sweet drinks. But if you're more into actual tea flavors, then I wouldn't recommend this store. read more

I am soooo excited about this new boba spot in the valley! I had my doubts bc most boba places in the area haven't been too great but this really exceeded my expectations! I love how there's only size which are these large cups and that some drinks (like the milk teas) come w a free topping! I think the prices are v fair and the tea/drink quality is amazing! I ordered the sea salt jasmine drink which is one of my go-tos and it was so good I had to refrain from finishing it within 5 mins. my friend ordered the enchanted berry fruit tea which she was also a huge fan of. we ordered two extra drinks for our siblings but they looked good as well. the workers seemed nice and although the drinks took a while to come out, I can't complain bc they were such great quality!! the place is a decent size but only has a few tables (maybe 5-6) and when my friend and I got there, all of the tables were taken. Bobo the Boba is the new boba shop on the block and they're certainly a welcome addition to the Northridge neighborhood! They have all the drinks you'd expect from a traditional boba spot (fruit tea, milk tea) but have curated some really interesting (and aesthetically pleasing!) signature drinks as well-- like their coffee beverages, yogurt beverages and even smoothies. I decided to go for the Dragon Slayer, which the menu described as a lychee slush with dragon fruit and mango bits (i added boba of course), and I was impressed by both the taste and the presentation! It was the perfect midday treat as the weather started to warm up. Although I didn't order a milk tea this time around I noticed that they offer milk alternatives as well as non-dairy cream which isn't always the case at local boba spots, so it stood out to me. We love when a new business accommodates dietary needs!! As for ambience, the shop is on the small side but there were people studying on their laptops and catching up with friends, which gave the place a very welcoming vibe. Not to mention the employees working were so sweet and very willing to answer questions and give their recommendations! Honestly was a good boba place until today. They really need to train their workers. I was waiting an hour for 5 drinks and taiyaki. Yes it was busy but i can see my order only missing one item. One of the cups of my order was left behind and they continued to grab cups at random. After expressing my frustration saying i was waiting another 20 mins for one drink, she exclaimed, its confusing were busy. I left it alone until she scoffed and clicked her tongue. I love Boba. I even have a method for reviewing Boba houses. I typically go in. I order a milk tea with Boba and I see how that is. I could not bring myself do that here. They had they offer some amazing unique looking drink specialties, and I just could not pass up trying the Princess Peaches. I'm so glad I tried something different. The menu says that this is pink Crystal Boba with peach green tea with sweet cream. I think the crystal pink boba is either rose or cherry blossom flavored because the drink had the most pleasant floral flavor. I love florals in a drink. My husband got the mango cream smoothie. I did try it. The cream is so good here. It's nice for when you don't want something full fruit. I went to their grand opening and they went pretty crazy with handing out plushies and inflatable hammers! The place itself is fairly small so it's pretty much a grab and go spot. I got the dragon slayer for myself and a taro titan for my dad. My dad's a big fan of taro so this was a great choice for him, and I'm personally a fan of the lychee and mango in the dragon slayer. The staff was very friendly and considering the opening rush, they were very efficient getting the drinks out in a timely manner.
