    Stuff I took off salad...

My 2nd time @ Bobs was much. More savory Than the initial visit. Simply put, the overcooked over grilled , was rectified! I personally had a pleasant dialogue with Big Bob . I'm not sure if that's his first name? I mentioned the tough bird, from '23 & he assured me it would be done right this time. The chicken skewers combo plate also includes rice & huge portion of salad The chicken was still tender at room temperature There's a stealthy bathroom in the building ask Bob for directions. Great lunch before my Doctor visit.

Dr Pepper (creamsoda flavor) - they have variety of soft drinks, coffee, teas available

I needed some warm food, I entered this place to have some good / no gimmick delicious meal. Their combination plate with 2 different kind of kabobs (chicken & beef skewers) was very warm and delicious I chose hummus & rice as side (they also have Green salad) and overall it tasted very good. Good portion, very healing warm meal. I rarely drink soda & The Dr Pepper Creamsoda flavor was a first for me, surprisingly very good. I have yet to try their falafel, but it looked very good I'm getting it next time. The staffs are always very very kind and friendly. Thank you so much !

Be careful the plates in no way represent what u get. If u want what u see they will charge you 5-10 fee

Horrible food. They put steak with rice and humans/pita on display. They actually give you chuck beef with no humus or pita, that would be 6 bucks more please.would not refund money even though they are obviously hustling few extra bucks. Problem is every business is hustling the public 5 bucks at a time.........

i did not know i could get mediterranean food in ktown!!!! i ordered takeout and the food was ready really quickly. the lady making my smoothie seems to own the place and she was so sweet. the feel of the restaurant was like a neighborhood cafe for bites and coffee. since i'm vegan, i ordered the falafel plate and mango orange smoothie. the falafel plate comes with a full box of food - very tasty at a great price. i'm already excited to go back and try their tabbouleh salad :) thank you bob's for an amazing start to my dayb

Just tried the Beef Kabob plate today. The meat is a little on the fried side, but it's not thing that can't be fixed with some butter and salt. The rice is a bit on the mushy side, so if you are picky about your rice-- I recommend asking for a substitute or get a lot of salad and dressing. For $11, I would consider the portion of the beef kabob fair. Alternatively, you can order a side of Hummus & pita to make your own pita sandwich as well!. Service is friendly and the cashier and cooks remembered me which made me happy.

    Combination plate with hummus

Good spot for lunch, usually get the combination plate, hummus is on point extremely recommend! Good service, very friendly

Delicious, no frills hole-in-the-wall! Server was really friendly and made all our food to-order. Everything was so tasty and fresh, though you wouldn't expect it just from looking at the place. The pita bread deserves a special shout out because it tasted so good on its own, and it was perfectly rolled out (pita bread isn't supposed to be thick, folks). Ask for extra garlic sauce because that stuff is BOMB. Our least favorite item was the falafel, which was a little airy and chalky, and missing the bite you get from more coarsely ground chickpeas + that herby punch that makes falafel so moreish. Overall though, we really enjoyed our meal and thought it tasted better than other pricier Mediterranean establishments we've been to. There is also free parking in the back. The next time you are on Wilshire, skip the chain restaurants and give this place a chance -- you'll be glad you did.

    dry, tough, flavorless

Stopped by because it was next to my chiropractor. The meat was soooo tough, had no flavor, and the whole meal was just dry. The worker was so kind I didn't want to complain, I probably won't be back.

Lentil Soup served w/a side of pita bread. Small Cup $3 & Large Cup $4.50. Peppery kick to it, but I would definitely get it again.

The garlic spread on the side is crucial. Without it the chicken is dry. The rice isn't your typical Mediterranean rice either.

The plate also came with hummus and pita, which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The hummus was smooth, rich, and perfect with the warm pita. Hermon helped recommend our food, cooked it, and even served us. She was so kind and made the whole experience feel really personal. She also offered us complimentary baklava, which was amazing. It had the most soft, chewy texture with just enough sweetness. When I asked her what the secret ingredient was, she just smiled and said she couldn't spoil it so you'll have to try it for yourself! Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Based on the food alone, we would recommend this place to anyone with a beating heart and more importantly, a mouth. This is quality food at a quality price. The atmosphere? Really great. Our waiter told us that they can accommodate larger groups which is great. I recently ate food at Saffy's and I didn't enjoy it one bit. The servings there are too small, too pretentious and too overpriced. Open Sesame is the exact opposite and that's why it rules. A wonderful experience in Beverly Boulevard.
