We've been eating at Seafood Sam's (Falmouth) for many years and it has proved consistently delicious until this Spring. This April, I had the Fried Fisherman's platter and only had 2 shrimp. My mother had the Baked Haddock (one of her favorites) but it was bland. Yesterday, I picked up 2 more meals and I had a fried combo (shrimp and haddock) w a not so great baked potato which included no utensils and no tartar sauce (which I clearly stated). Again, the haddock was bland and didn't have the usual delightful and delicious batter. Even the coleslaw just wasn't as good as past seasons....We are hopeful they're getting their rhythm back since they only recently opened for the season. We will pause for now and will try again later in the season. We LOVE Seafood Sams and hope they will sustain their epic seafood this summer! : ) read more

The fried whole bellies were SOO JUICY. Highly recommend! We also got fish and chips and it was very yummy. The only thing I'd skip is the clam chowder because it was a bit thin. Flying bridge has way better chowder! We came by for lunch and it was very quick. We all ordered lunch portions and the prices & portions were great. Came to visit Falmouth on evening while in Boston for work. Was craving a lobster roll, so I had dinner here at seafood Sam's. They were doing a very steady business with both in person customers and pick up orders. The line at the counter moved quickly, and after ordering, waited only a few minutes for my meal. This place was ok. Not sure what I expected since it is a seafood place and I don't like seafood, lol, but my family was going there. There was one plant-added option, the impossible burger. It just tasted weird like it was frozen, then thawed, then frozen again. I wasn't able to finish it. Hate wasting money like that, especially with everything being extra expensive nowadays. My partner had the park and he said it tasted ok and his mother had the clam strips, which she seemed to enjoy. It was cooked perfect. It was fresh, came in a recyclable box. I want to come back and try some of their clams and other delights. Fish sandwich with 2 nice size fillets of scrod, lettuce and tomato on a roll. It is like a camping trip now eating out either at their picnic tables or in the car or take home which I liking more and more! We called the order in, and was hassle free for pickup. Last night on the Cape for a business trip and figured I'd try a local clam shack (restaurant). Got the fried seafood platter for one and a cup of lobster bisque. I still have about half of it left, including the bisque. I think I need some dental work after eating some of the clam strips. Each one was gritty. The lobster bisque had a very unique taste that I can't quite describe, which is why there's 3/4s of it left. The fries were very warm, and so were the few onion rings on top. Only got about 3 shrimp. The fish wasn't bad and the cole slaw was so-so. Doing 3 stars as I'm assuming other stuff on the menu might be decent. Also, the Cape Cod IPA is pretty good, but that's not a restaurant item! I almost feel bad for putting this meal on my expense report. I stumbled upon this gem while visiting the area for work. I am VERY picky about seafood - especially fried things. I ordered a half portion plate of whole bellie clams and it came with a side of coleslaw and fries as well as a lemon wedge. The food was prepared quickly and absolutely scrumptious! The clams were tender/ sweet and the batter light and crispy. The coleslaw was freshly made and flavorful - creamy dressing and not at all watery. Tartar sauce and Fries were great too ! I saw this spot driving into Falmouth called Seafood Sam's. Food was good and crunchy. After looking at the photos here, I'm not sure you are getting the best bang for your buck. If you look at my photo of which I forgot to take before diving into the sweet potato fries is showing you pretty much what I received for $33.00. Now I have haddock, clam belly, scallop and shrimps. I would recommend you get something else other than the seafood platter which will put the price in half if you're looking for a affordability because they do have a fordable prices at the Mills. Food was good my favorite was the clam bellies and the shrimp. Got ready to go and saw a much larger platter pass me by. Oh well food was good. I love the presentation of the onion funnel. On our way down to the Woods Hole aquarium, we passed Seafood Sam's. It looked nice and clean and it had seafood in the name, so why not? I had a hankering for whole belly clams, so lunch was in order. Sam's is brightly painted in nautical motif and I swear I stepped into an episode of Spongebob Squarepants and eating at the Krusty Krab. After ordering at the front counter, we grabbed a table to await our food, which was ready pretty fast. Our buzzer went off, we got our food and we were ready to eat. The lobster roll was tasty with a decent amount of lobster and came with a side and my wife chose baked beans. We shared a large clam chowder because what meal in Cape Cod doesn't include chowdah??
